Standard Logistics Scenario/s

Hi, please can someone assist?
I am looking for a complete LOGISTICS Process Flow (Flow Chart) to get a complete understanding of Logistics and each module that play's a role in Logistics.
I am trying to do a layout on Visio for Logistics so that I can see where each module fits in, which main steps each module plays in Logistics and to which modules the data flows out of Logistics.
I hope someone can help me with this, thank you

Logistics in generic its a big term & word, in that many scenarios comes, it depends on the client specific business, i have listed some for you:-
1. Outbound Scenario - OTC/WM/FIN
2. Inbound Scenario - P2P/WM/FIN
3. Production - PP/WM/FIN
Many scenarios & modules involved, the above shown is just an example.
we cant say specifically, it depends on the business

Standard B2B Scenario

Hi guys,
I have read a lot of docs the last few days, but there's one thing that I'm not really sure of: In a standard B2B scenario, I want to exchange Orders05 Idocs and the corresponding Invoice Idocs. Now I have to import these Idoc types into IR. Should I create a separate software component containing only those Idocs I want for all B2B scenarios or should I import the IDocs into standard SAP components like SAP Basis or something else?

Hi,
Basically while dealing with SAP Applications we dont need to create a Separate SWC for SAP Application. Why because by default all these SWC and PRD are available with the Standard SAP Product itself.
So while creating the Technical system we can add the SAP PRD which contains all these SWC like SAP ABAP , HR, BASIS etc....
Cretae One PRD----SWCV of Third party and use it in IR for Interfaces Development

A list of standard workflows scenarios within SD

okay, i finally am able to understand the concept of workflows. however, i was trying to find a list of standard workflow scenarios that one can use within SD, actual scenarios, not just an example or 2. my client wants to implement workflows but doesn't care where, he wants to implement the standard scenarios wherever they might be used. anyone got a list of these scenarios? thanks a bunch!

you can always map PO into xcbl message:

since this is an XML document it can be done send by a receiver file/ftp adapter

Standard MSS Reporting scenario Country dependent

- We have a common list of reports in R3 for all the countries.
- We have some specific reports in R3 for each country.

ATP Check for service parts and procurement scenario

Dear Experts,
We're testing CRM service scenario, focusing on the ATP check.
After running the avaiability check for the service parts in the service order,
is it posssible to determine the scenario automatically as follows?
- when the necessary parts items are not available
-> "Procurement" scenario will be used.
The corresponding documents such as PO, PR or Reservation will be generated in ERP according to the setting "Define Logistics Scenario for the Procurement of Materials and Services".
- when the necessary parts items are available in stock
-> "Material withdrawal" scenario will be used. The items will be withdrawn at the service confirmation.
From our understanding, the determination of the above scenario is controlled by the item type(ex.SRVP),
so we expect that the system sets the appropriate item type depending on whether the item is available or not.
Is there any possible solution for this?(i.e.standard customizing, BAdI etc....)
Any advice would be higly appreciated.

I have worked in Service Order Management Scenario, but not integration of Service Orders for ATP Check. But I found this Presentation which I hope might be somewhat helpful regarding the feasibility of the Business Scenario. Error while loding intigration scenario from IR

Hi ,
I am working with SRM XI MDM configuration with PI7.1 version
I have installed the standard Component Called SRM_MDM_Catalog 2.0 in IR . I able to view all the interface and intigration scenario under that. But when I want to Import the same in ID using Tool--->Apply model from Intigration scenario and than selecting my component "SRM MDM Catalog"
I am getting error message "Cannot load action; check whether all the required actions have been released in the Enterprise Services Repository."
what may be the reason for that

Number of document created in th backend in the classic scenario?

Dear Experts,
Could you please tell me the number of document and its details created in the ECC backend in the below cases?
1. Case 1:
Define backend objects:Purchase requistion created if no stock available.
Is it correct that the system will create two documents here? The first document will be Purchase Requisition
( from the classic scenario) and then a purchase order has to be triggered manually from the PR?
2. Case 2:
Define backend objects: Purchase Order if data complete, otherwise Purchase requisition.
Here, if all the data are complete and the system directly creates Purchase Order in the ECC backend system. From the shopping cart in SRM, one can see only ECC backend purchase order, no purchase requistion. If i check the Purchase Order in ECC backend system, I donot see any purchase requistion with reference to the Purchase Order.
Could you please help here? What are the number of documents created here? It is one or two (both purchase requisition and Purchase Order).
Is it not a violation of standard classic scenario if only one document is created?

In other words in the shopping cart is approved
1) If the source is assigned -It will create a P.O in the backend (Classic)
2) If the source is NOT assigned -It will create a P.R in the backend (Classic) .. you have to assign a source

Contract Creation in SRM 7.0 classic scenario

Hi All,
We are using SRM 7.0 Classic scenario with ECC 6.0 EHP 4 and CLM 2. We are creating contracts in SAP CLM and pushing into as Global outline agreement.
Question is -
1) Can we create contracts in SRM 7.0 Classic scenario ?
2) Instead of transfering the ECC outline agreement to SRM , can we directly use ECC outline agreement as a source of supply in SRM while creating a SC.
3) How we can transfer the SAP CLM 2.0 contracts into SRM 7.0 and use a source of supply there while creating a SC ( Considereing that these CLM contratcs are also transfered to ECC as a outline agreement)
What are the mandatory fields required to transfer the CLM contracts contracts to ECC outline agreement - I know ,Vendor, Purchase org, Pur grp, company code are required - is product catagory is also a mandatory field.

Question is -

Mitesh: Yes we can very well create in Classic Scenario as well in SRM 7.0.SC can be pushed to SOCO based on the Prod Category configuration in SPRO.From SOCO PO, Contract and RFX can be created for SC.
2) Instead of transfering the ECC outline agreement to SRM , can we directly use ECC outline agreement as a source of supply in SRM while creating a SC.
Mitesh: I dont think we can use ECC outline agreement as source of supply in SRM while creating SC.Contract replication in SRM 7.0 with EHP 4 ECC is eSOA based and ONLY Outbound to SRM (inbound to ECC).Contract cannot be replicated from ECC to SRM.
3) How we can transfer the SAP CLM 2.0 contracts into SRM 7.0 and use a source of supply there while creating a SC ( Considereing that these CLM contratcs are also transfered to ECC as a outline agreement)
+Mitesh: Standard intergeration of CLM/ESO to SRM 7.0 is very much there in roadmap for future releases of SRM/ESO.+
+As of now there is a consulting solution available to integerate ECC and ESO/CLM.+
+This logic can be leveraged to integrate ESO/CLM to SMR 7.0 (or lower version) requiring Developement effort from SRM functional,SRM technical,PI, Basis,ESO and java consultants.+
+Such contracts can be forced to be used as Source of Supply or alternatively replicated to ECC Via standard repliation scenario.+

Is it possible to give a discount on the PO header price for a standard PO?How?Depending upon which release you are in, you can try following options but in most of the cases it will be based on line level discounted price and PO header will just add up. For Standard PO scenarios:
1) Discounts through Advance Pricing ... please refer to the MOS (Metalink) notes below. Discount will be at line level unit price with modifiers etc ... same will add up to PO total
2) You can define an Offset tax with -ve rate and try to apply this in PO .. Offset tax should be enabled
3) Create a Bid Quotation. At shipment level specify quantity and related discounted prices ... Approve Quotation (status Active)... From Tools >> Copy Document create a standard PO. It will give a note that Quottaion line and shipment prices are different and only line price will apply... PO created ... after PO creation enter line quantity for which applicable for discount and you'll see line price getting changed to discounted price ...

Enhancing F4 Search Help Issue - Standard Component

Hello All,
We have a requirement in SRM to customize couple of standard Search helps attached to the Webdynpro components. As such I know the concept of how we can handle this requirement but hitting an issue.
Standard Working scenario -
1) Standard Structure available with multiple fields. Two fields that are of our interest are SH_VALUE and SH_VALUE_LABEL.
2) Standard Search help for this being used has fields VALUE and VALUE_LABEL.
3) In the Structure the both the fields SH_VALUE and SH_VALUE_LABEL are mapped to the Search help VALUE and VALUE_LABEL.
4) In the WD component the node is mapped to the standard structure.
Running the application and the picking up the values from F4 on the SH_VALUE field will return its corresponding value and also map the SH_VALUE_LABEL field with the Label from the F4 since the structure and Search help mapping are there.
So far good when its standard.
Issue I am facing -
We need to modify this standard search help to customize our needs.
1) Did a Copy of the standard Search help and then modified to suit our needs. The output structure of the search is still the same as the standard one.
2) Did a Post Exit in the WD component to call our custom search help through the below code -
data lo_nd_attrib type ref to if_wd_context_node.
data lo_nd_attrib_info type ref to if_wd_context_node_info.
lo_nd_attrib = wd_context->path_get_node( path = `ATTRIBUTES_DATA.ATTR_DTLS_MULT` ).
lo_nd_attrib_info = lo_nd_attrib->get_node_info( ).
lo_nd_attrib_info->set_attribute_value_help( name = 'SH_VALUE' value_help_mode = '121' value_help = 'Z_ORG_ATTR' ).
lo_nd_attrib_info->set_attribute_value_help( name = 'SH_VALUE_LABEL' value_help_mode = '121' value_help = 'Z_ORG_ATTR' ).
Running the application just returns the SH_VALUE field but does not get the data for the SH_VALUE_LABEL.
Is there something wrong in the way I am calling the Custom Search help or should I need to approach this differently?

Hi Nagarajan,
Well, you are trying to set the search help to both attributes ( sh_value, sh_value_label) individually and it is having no link between these two attributes
i.e. once you select a value from search help of SH_VALUE, its no where linked that the other details to be passed to SH_VALUE_LABEL.
We generally, do the linking of attributes to search help parameters at structure level as below
So, if you need the same behaviour, then you need to assign the Zsearch help at strucuture field SH_VALUE and link the parameters to both fields SH_VALUE & SH_VALUE_LABEL
In case, if find it not possible to to this way,
You need to populate the value of field SH_VALUE_LABEL upon selection of value from search help of SH_VALUE.
i.e. by registering the search help selection event to an OnEnter action and write the logic to populate the value to SH_VALUE_LABEL

Multiple backend systems in ESS CATS Webdynpro scenario - challenge

For one of our customers we have the following challenging situation with the ESS CATS Webdynpro scenario:
System Landscape:
ERP 6.0 HR Backend System
ERP 6.0 FI/CO Backend System
EP 7.0 with already running ESS scenarions
Our customer actually uses the ESS CATS Scenario for collecting wage types into infotyp 2010. Now, additionally, they want to
use ESS CATS for an internal cost allocation scenario. This means, that the data from the CATS Webdynpro have to be redirected to the FI/CO backend system instead of the HR system (because of a missing standard ALE scenario for this case). The JCO SAP_R3_HumanResources points to the HR-System. Is there a way to dynamically redirect the system assignment depending of the used CATS scenario. Out of the CATS Profile we can conclude which system should be assigned. I red a lot about dynamic system resolution in the SAP Library, but it seems not to be the right solution for this issue - because I need to know the CATS profile for the descision.
Any hints would be great. Thanks in advance!

We have a delicate situation in my current project; I would like to ask your help.
The situation is this: we have different machines in HR and FI, and are trying to implement Travel Management through the SAP Standard Portal.
TM settings is in the FI machine, but ESS calls to the HR machine.
We have 2 ideas:
-A, differentiate the different services of the Portal, so specific HR processes will call to a HR machine and others will call to a FI machine.
-B, set the ALE processes to duplicate HR information in FI, and Portal will call just FI machine.
We prefer first idea; would you recommend us?

Namespace problem in SRM scenario.

Hi Experts,
I am using the RFQ scenario on SRM (Proxy) to PI to RFC.
The scenario is standard SRM Scenario.
The problem is with namespace, coming from SRM Proxy is http://sap.com/xi/SRM/Sourcing/Global
using same message Type on PI, but XML namespace here in PI is different for this message, it is http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal/Global
As the namespaces are not matching, the message is in RED.
How I can solve this ?
