Standard movement to transfer blocked batches to a different plant/center

I am trying to transfer blocked batches to a different plant/center where it is (from 2000 to 3000). Is there any standard movement which allows to move blocked batches to another plant/center without unblocking them?
Thank you in advance.

Prerequisites
For materials handled in batches, you can carry out stock transfers from plant to plant and from storage location to storage location as well as transfer postings from material to material.
An issuing batch and a receiving batch are always involved in a stock transfer or transfer posting of a batch material. The issuing batch number is copied as the receiving batch number (except in the case of a plant-to-plant stock transfer in two steps). The batch number can, however, still be changed.
Stock Transfers in Two Steps
In a stock transfer from plant to plant using the two-step procedure, you enter only the receiving plant for the removal from storage. The stock in transfer is managed only at plant level in the receiving plant, independent of storage location and batches. You must enter the receiving storage location and the receiving batch when you post the placement into storage.
In a stock transfer from storage location to storage location using the two-step procedure, the receiving storage location and the receiving batch are already determined during the removal from storage.
After posting the removal from storage, the quantity is in stock in transfer. Stock in transfer is managed at plant level, as well as at storage-location level and batch level. As a consequence, you must enter the same receiving batch for the placement into storage. If you do not know the batch, enter * in the Batch field. The batch selection list is displayed. This list displays the stock in transfer for the batches in the Stock column.
Procedure
You can post a transfer from batch to batch by entering a different batch for a stock transfer using the one-step procedure. To do this, proceed as follows:
From the Inventory Management menu, select Goods movement ® Transfer posting.
Maintain the data on the initial screen. Choose one of the following movement types:
u2013 Movement type ® Transfer posting ® Plant to plant ® Remove from storage/place in storage
u2013 Movement type ® Transfer posting ® Stor. loc. to stor. loc. ® Unrestr. to unrestr.
u2013 Movement type ® Transfer posting ® Material to material
To maintain the items directly on the item detail screen instead of on the collective entry screen, select Edit ® New item.
On the detail screen, you can enter an issuing and a receiving batch.
Post the document.
In a transfer posting to a new batch, batch data (such as shelf life expiration date or vendor) is copied to the new batch. Classification data is copied as well.
In a transfer posting to an already existing batch, the data of the existing batch is retained.
Transfer Postings From Batch to Batch, With Status Management
In a transfer posting to a new batch, the new batch is given the status unrestricted use (even if the issuing batch has the status restricted use), unless the restricted-use status has been predefined by Quality Management.

  • Batch Management in different plants

    Hey SAPers
I am using batch managment for certain materials. But I don't need batch management of same materials in other plant. SAP is not allowing to change the status in other plants.
Business needs to maintain materials in batches in warehouse but not in stores.
Do we have a way out for this problem.
    Please respond.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    MAM.

    dear abdul
You can manage batches in different plants for many materials. For this reason, batches must be uniquely identifiable. In the SAP System, the batch number uniquely identifies the batch. You use the batch level to specify whether the batch number for a material is unique in one plant, or in all plants.
You choose the batch level in Customizing for Batch Management under Specify Batch Level and Activate Status Management
    Batch Levels
    Plant level
The batch number is unique in connection with the plant and material.
The batch number is only known in the plant in which it was created if the stock is transferred to another plant, the batch is unknown in the recipient plant and the system does not adopt any data. You have to recreate and specify the batch in the receiving plant; that is, the same batch number may have different specifications in several plants.
    Material level:
The batch number is unique in all plants in connection with the material.
The same batch number has the same meaning for the material in all plants. One batch number cannot have different specifications in different plants. During stock transfer to another plant, the specification of the batch is known in the destination plant even if the batch is placed into storage in that plant for the first time.
    Client level:
The batch number is unique in the whole client. A batch number can only be assigned once in the client. You cannot assign the same batch number for different materials.
The batch number is only unique at the chosen level.
    Changing the Batch Level
In the standard SAP System, the plant level is set as the batch level. If you want to use a different level in your company, you have to change it in Customizing and carry out a conversion program.
You choose the batch level in Customizing for Batch Management under Specify Batch Level and Activate Status Management.
While the conversion program is running, you can only post batches at the old level. You can only post batches at the new level after the conversion has been completed.
You cannot change back from a higher level to plant level in the standard system. However, you can change the batch level from client level back to material level.
To change the batch level from plant level to material level, the material has to be subject to batch management in all plants.

  • Stock transfer between 2 projects of different plants.

    Hi All,
We have two plants and each plant as multiple projects. Some time it is required to transfer stock between two project which are of different plants. Currently we are using MOVEMENT TYPE 415Q , where stock transfer is done using 4 steps. Our client is insisting to do it in SINGLE step.
Please advice whether it is possible.
    Thanks,
    Vengal Rao.

    Thanks Venkat,
For the quick reply, but here I think using 415Q in MB1B  it has more than one step, and our projects are in different plants, I mean both project are of different plants.
    Please clarify.

  • How to transfer app data between two different game center accounts?

Hello, I really need some help.
I have looked all over the web for ways to transfer apps between two different game center accounts and different devices. Several weeks ago I started playing Campus Life on my relative's Ipad 2, therefore spending many long hours to get to this point in the game.
The problem is I just got an Iphone 5 and I really would like to transfer the data onto it, so that I would not need to start all over again.
My grandma has an account (Game Center) onto which the data has been saved and I would like to have it stored onto mine. On some forum someone said to sign into the account which has the data on both devices and to then open up the game on the new device. It worked. Then I signed out and logged in with my own account- the game started from scratch. I panicked. I went back on the other account, and the data reappeared. I have been going back and forth, the game changing as many times. I thought it would ask to back up my grandma's data on mine but I was wrong. I can not seem to save the game onto my new account, and I have even tried to back it up to Itunes and then copy it onto my phone after having signed into my own account. And I don't know how to properly use Icloud. I am a mess. I am completely lost and have found no help on the web. (All people seem to have to deal with is sharing Apple IDs with different Game Center Accounts for the kids and transferring apps from one of their devices to another.)
I am so worried I am going to mess up and will lose the whole thing completely.
I have just started another game with my own account but since I am using my grandma's, the data is erased. It's one or the other but I definitely prefer saving Campus Life. I do not like the idea of having to only pick one.
I do not know any technical terms, so if you understand or even have the slightest clue about what I am talking about, I applaud you.
This seems like mission impossible, so if anyone can help in any way, I would be really grateful.
Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts!

I meant to press on "This solved my question"... Sorry if you needed the points.
Thank-you and I will just go back and forth between the accounts.

  • How to set movement or transfer block during Physical Inventory

    Hello Team,
I was wondering if someone could help with how to set
Material Movement block for the entire plant during physical inventory.
    I will appreciate any input.

The inventory process in general in equal.
creating document - printing documents - counting - enter count - (recount) - post difference.
It is just the step of creating documents which differs between MI01 and MI31.
MI01 wants that the user to enters the material to be counted manually.
While in MI31 you have a huge selection screen, that allows you to create inventory documents for several location at the same time, while SAP  takes the materials according to your selection criterias.
MI31 can be executed to create the documents directly or by batch input, in earlier releases it was only possible thru batch input.

  • Problems in having common material and batch in different plants

    Hi all,
As the material with the same batch is existing in different plants, we are facing some problems in processing the Process Messages.
If some user who belongs to a different plant is processing the batch for the material, the Process messages are not being sent the destination as we get an error message that the reservation is currently processed by user (who actually belongs to a different plant). This is effecting the Business.
Can anyone tell me how we can prevent this? Could the reservation and Batch status set as plant level control via standard IMG change ?
    Regards,
    Brijesh

    Yes Rajanikanth,
But can you please let me know whether it is not possible to restrict this so that the batch processed in different plants should not affect in our plant?
    Thanks.

  • Block Batch updates from QM

    Hi Guru's,
I have a question regarding batch updates through QM (inspection lots).
Is it possible to block a batch for getting updates from QM? Meaning that we can take UD, but that the results are not copied to the batch anymore. The solution should also make sure that we still can do a few logistical movement (like transfer postings, goods issue, ...)
Maybe anybody experience with a custom-build solution?

Sounds like you don't get along with your QM staff?
The whole point of inspection lots and QM status controls is to ensure quality if you want to circumvent Quality control measures you can always let them disposition the batch and move it to blocked status, then scrap the blocked stock (move into 999 storage type and clear via LI21) and then pull the inv. back out of 999 in unresricted status/clear.
If you are not fighting with your QC staff then perhaps you should stop creating inspection lots to begin with.
Just seems strange to want to do this.

  • Transfer block of plant to another plant

    Dear all
i want to transfer one material from block of storage location of plant to block of storage location of another plant, please guide me which one movement type should i use in transaction MIGO?
    best regards

    Cross-Plant Stock Transfer
In the case of a plant-to-plant stock transfer, the plants between which material is
transferred can belong either to the same company code or to different ones. As a
general rule, cross-plant stock transfers can only be booked out of unrestricted-use
    stock.
In the one-step procedure, the goods issue and goods receipt are posted in a single
material document. You must therefore enter all relevant data, such as the material,
issuing plant, issung storage location, receiving plant, and receiving storage
location in this one step. The movement type (in the standard system) is 301.
In the case of the two-step procedure, when removing the material from storage
(movement type 303), you must specify the receiving plant in addition to the
material and the issuing organizational levels. This is necessary because valuation
of the stock transfer takes place when the material is removed from storage
and posted to stock in transfer at the receiving plant. You can either enter the
putaway (placement in storage, movement type 305) with reference to the material
document of the stock removal or enter all data manually. As a result of the
putaway, the quantity is booked out of stock in transfer and into unrestricted-use
stock at the receiving plant. Valuation of the putaway is not necessary, since the
stock in transfer and the unrestricted-use stock at the receiving storage location
    belong to the same plant.
If you use STO, you can also post the
material to stock in quality inspection or to blocked stock.

  • Transaction Notification for Blocking Batch

    Dear Experts,
I am facing a critical situation. My Client wants to Block the material movement  if it is not inspected through Quality Personal. I have already Locked batches through General Settings > Inventory > Batch Status . But it only blocks the batches for Goods Issue and Receipts Transactions. It is not working in case of Inventory transfers.
I have created UDF on GRPO called U_InspStatus where by default value is Pending once the Quality personal changes the UDF value to Completed then only the batch should be able to move through Inventory Transfer.
Can anyone help me in creating Transaction Notification on Inventory Transfer Document  which can block batches if there status is pending ?
    Waiting for your replies.
    Regards,
    RK

    Hi Naga,
Please find below mentioned answer to your queries -
    1. Inventory transfer done by means of posting inventory transfer document? - Yes
    2. Inventory transfer as applicable to customer not vendor. How do you select vendor in inventory transfer document? - Not selecting the customer in Inventory Transfer document not required I am moving material from one warehouse to another.
    3. How did you update inspection status in inventory transfer document - Inspection status is updated in Quality Add on and not in Inventory Transfer. But if I am transferring material from one warehouse to another without Inspection then it should block the batch whose Inspection status is pending.

  • Problem about sales order stock stock transfer and batch determination

Hi, experts, I get a problem about sales order stock stock transfer and batch determination. The following is the current situation of my system:
In OMCG I assigned search procedure ME0001 to both 311 and 311 E and ticked check batch. After that, I found  that if iI need to tranfer unrestricted-use material from storage location 1000 to 2000 with movement type 311, I just need to input * at the field batch, then the system will display all of the available batches. But for the transferring of sales order stock with movement type 311 E, after I input * at the batch field, no batch is displayed and there is also no message from the system.
Can anybody help me? Is there anything else I need to do? Thanks very much.

I think my question is not clear, actually I tried 562 E , 411 E and 413 already. all the transaction looking for the sales order but unfortunatly the sales order is deleted  from SAP.

  • Move stock from block to inspectin

HI, i have to move stock from block to inspection, i have tried Mov 349 but it 's giving error
Change the inspection stock of material 6520330201524 in QM only Message no. QA495  Diagnosis You want to make a stock posting to/from the inspection stock. This is not allowed for material 6520330201524 because the quality inspection control has been activated by QM.  The following cases can occur:  The inspection stock should be increased, although an inspection is not foreseen for the current goods movement The inspection stock should be released, although  you can only do this using the QM transactions.

    Sandeep,
There are many posts here in the forum regarding this topic. I even posted a few myself a couple of years ago. Search them out you'll see there're many ways material can and will be moved into QI, Blocked and Res. intentionally and unintentionally. QM activated negates all the MM and MB Txs. Search them out.
One of several ways this can be done is to:
    1. Revise the batch classification/specs. MSC2n
    2. Reversing the transaction which put the material in Block, QI, Res. in the first place via MBST if
    you've the auth.
    3. (Otherwise) Have the creator of the material doc.perform #2 above
    Hope it helps.

  • Ability to capture Move Order Transfer Receipts at destination sub-inventor

    Dear All,
We are currently in the process implementing multiple customization's to existing oracle business suite. I would like to clarify a below point regarding move order transfers.
I am aware that for inter-organization transfers, there is standard oracle feature to record the receipts at destination inventory organization.
However, in the standard oracle there is no feature to record the receipts at a sub-inventory for a move order transfer. This is a major concern as we are unable to account for good lost /pilferage in transit.
Since we are going ahead with customization, can anyone please reply if they have performed a similar action of customization or an alternative method to capture receipts for move order transfers.
Thank you in advance for any replies/suggestions..

Please, if you have success with this ability i really want to know the result.

  • Transfer blocked stock between plants.

    Hi everyone !
Pls. I need to transfer blocked stock from plant A to plant B.
The point is stock must be blocked in plant A and then I have to transfer to plant B, but stock must always be blocked just to avoid the selling process.
Thanks a lot for help !
    Regards.

if you want do it with SD deliveries, then the answer is: not possible
    but pure MM movements........
By changing the field selection for movement type 325 you can open the field 'receiving plant'. this will then allow a plant to plant movement of blocked stock. Whether you should do it or not is of course up to you.
I doupt that it is possible to do a 2-step movement for blocked or QI stock, because the 303 post the quantity to transfer stock. And transfer stock has no sub categories like QI or blocked. It is on the same level.
There is an OSS note 448761, it is for another transaction, but it might help you a bit to understand.
amongst other things following is said:
There are not two-step movement types for blocked stock since no stock in transit, quality inspection exists .
