Standard objects for Trade Fund Management
Hi everybody,
Iu2019m working on Trade Fund Management, I need to import CRM data to BW.
Iu2019ve searched on the BI Content for standard TFM Data Sources, DSO and cubes, but I wasnu2019t able to find anything: there's an InfoArea called 0CRM_FM, but itu2019s empty.
In CRM I was able to simulate extraction for BW by using RSA3 transaction (i.e. extractors 0CRM_FM_FND, 0CRM_FM_FND_PLAN, 0CRM_FM_FU, etc).
We have installed Support package 703, level 14: where can I find standard structure for TFM? do they exist?

Standard Objects for Goods Receipt and Invoice
Hi experts,
Is there any Standard Object for Creating Goods Reciept and Invoice in SAP other than standard BAPIsTry to use the PROCESSKEY standard infoobject (BWVORG in R3/ECC) to discriminate the good receipt from the invoice one...
An other option is create a custom generic data source with a view on EKBE table and use the EKBE-VGABE field to discrimate them.

GL account linkage with activity group for AVC- Funds management
Hi,
I have activated (BCS) funds management in my system. My client wants that system will give error message for some expense GL accounts and for other expense GL accounts it will only give information message.
For that i have created new activity group for AVC but i have no idea how we can link GL accounts with activity group for AVC.
Request immediate help.

The correct way to deal with this is not with activity groups, but with tolerance profiles. Create tolerance profiles with error and warning messages accordingly and then create a tolerance derivation strategy, which on the basis of commitment item, will derive the relevant profile.

Standard Objects for Work Breakdown Structure Element (WBS Element)
In 0FI_GL_4 , there are two fields :
Component | Component Type | Data Type | Length | Short Description
PROJK | PS_PSP_PNR | NUMC | 8 Work Breakdown Structure Element (WBS Element)
PS_POSID | PS_POSID | CHAR | 24 Work Breakdown Structure Element (WBS Element)
For "PS_POSID", there is a standard Object "0WBS_ELEMT" to be matched.
But ,Which object to match the "PROJK " ? Is that "0WBS_ELM_EX" ?Hi,
The object 0WBS_ELEMT_EX is actually for a different puspose.

So for PROJK, i'd advise you to check what kind of output you get for this field in RSA3 and then go from there.
If you already know what it means, you can try to find a similar object in the content, otherwise just create one with similar element type.

but while specifying file step it is giving error , No logical path has been specified.

CRM 2007-TPM -- Trade Funds Management
Hi ,
I am working on some TPM scenarios with integration of Funds and Claims,
I have created Funds Plan, Funds.
But while posting an amount to the Fund through the transaction Budget Update where transaction category is maintained as Budget Posting.
I am able to Post an amount which is stored in the 0BPO condition record.
When I approve the Budget Posting , It should be available in the Budget of Fund Checkbook.
But while saving the Budget Posting in Approved status, I am getting an error message as:
u201CError when saving the budget updateu201D
Please let me know if you any clue on this to resolve this error.
Also please let me know what are the mandatory customization I have to main for this.

I was working on channel management scenario and stuck in budget posting ( budget update). not able to enter the posting amount in budget update creating from fund. any manadatory setting you did for this because space provided for posting amount is greyed.

Funds Management for all transaction

I have activated funds management. I want this only for checking budget for non-assigned PO.
But it will ask comittment items for all business transactions like FI / MM / SD,etc
What settings needs to be done for the same so that other transactions are affected. Please helpHi,
Bear in mind that the minimum account assignment that must be provided in case of FM, is funds center and commitment item, this is required for postings, budget, avc and so on.
Funds center can be a combination of cost centers that you should have filled in your PO.
To be able to derive automatically funds center from the cost center, use FMDERIVE transaction creating a derivation rule that connects cost centers to the funds centers.
The FM derivation tool can only be used for deriving Funds Management account assignments. Additional information is
available in note 881202.
I suggest you to read also the documentation available in the following menu:

It is only a text document but with links and with all the necessary instructions to start FM in your company.

Funds managed by fund managers - CFM/Treasury.
Hi Experts,
Can someone help me on how to maintain details of funds managed by fund managers (external agencies) by investing in many types of financial instruments (securities, money market, derivatives, etc.). At the month-end we will get a report about all the investments made, their base value, market value, etc., based on which we need to calculate fair value gain/loss as well as impairment loss/gain, if any.
Here all the funds are managed by fund managers and accounting part is taken care by custodian bank. Is there any way to upload/maintain such data in SAP Treasury (Transaction Manager) based on an excel sheet.
Can you please guide me which thread is answering queries/clarifications related to SAP FSCM Treasury & Risk Manager / SAP CFM Treasury & Risk Manager.
Really not getting any answere when I am posting it on ERP financials thread.

Thanks for your reply. We are implementing Treasury modlue and am aware of required configuration for various financial instruments in transaction manager.
- Client is managing some investments on their own for which we are doing required configuration and standard procedure for transaction & position management will be followed.
- Apart from funds managed on their own, external fund managers (multiple) are dealing with financial instruments based on investment mandate given by client and sending monthly reports on investments made, their values, expenses, transaction details, etc., being sent to client in the form of spread sheet.
- Client will also receive a statement from Custodian Bank with details of investments made by each fund manager.
Please clarify on the following:
- As per your reply there are standard BAPIs available for importing transactions to SAP. Fund Managers are investing in various type of financial instruments (securities, money market, forex, etc.) in various currencies.
- To import the investment details using BAPI do I need to make configuration settings for each type of financial instrument.
- The purpose is to arrive at fair value gain/loss and sum up expenses based on reports (spread sheets) received fund managers and pass journal entries.
- There is a requirement for preparation of disclosure reports on various investments based on these details received from custodian bank.
- Reconciliation of reports received from Custodian bank and fund managers.

This Standard Report in the Funds Management FMRP_3FMB4004 does not show the Assigned Values & Balance amounts. I have already carried out the reconstruction of budget values. In spite of this, I'm not able to get the values in the column "Assigned Values" & Balance budget Value" in the above report.
Can somebody guide me?

You can find it via: SPRO-IMG- Public Sector Management
If you can't see it, you need to ensure that you activated it. The first step is the activation of the SAP R/3 Extension Set in the Implementation Guide. You must have the proper authorization to maintain this table (cross-client maintenance).
SPRO-IMG- Activate SAP ECC Extensions
In this table, make sure the flag IS-PS is active. Without this setting, you will not see the PSM menus or Customizing trees.
In case you do not see the menu or IMG path for Public Sector Management after the activation, please check in transaction SCPR20,
in SCPR20 you have to choose EA-PS-IMG and then to activate it (button 'Activate BC set' on the panel or F7). Then check IMG and if no impact, then check for the error messages in SCPR20:
select Goto - BC-Set - Activation logs
