Standard of services

Poor standards of service provided by 02 customer services team. U treat customers like there nothing yet they are the 1s that are making the company a success especially those who have been with u for years such as my self.
Been with u 2 weeks after my 12th birthday & I'm 27 next week. Standards a falling dramatically sort it out 02 :-/

Idont think standards are falling when you call, I've never had anything but good service on 202. Some calls may be outsourced at busy times but that is down to o2's staffing levels and cost cutting. That's unlikely to change I'm afraid. Now live chat is a totally different level of customer service....

  • Calling DOO standard web service in ADF custom order Capture form

    Hi
I am trying to call the standard DOO web service in my ADF form and I am using web service data control to call that service. But when I am dragging and drooping the method in my page with the parameters needed for that particular method and try to run the page. Its giving a null pointer exception. The main parameter for that method is _payload which wants an EBM to be passed to it.
DOO is a distributed Order Orchestration which is part of SCM fusion module. In fusion we can capture the order from different places from a legacy system from an EBS or any other application and then that captured order is passed to
DOO of fusion by calling a standard web service. But we don't have a order capture form built in ADF from where we can enter order and then pass this info to the DOO web service.
EBM is Enterprise business message,it is an xml format file which is passed to the DOO of fusion. It accept only EBM format xml in which capture order data is dere with EBM header and the data area which contains the order information.
The name of the method in web service which is called in j developer is SalesOrderOrchestrationService_pt_SubmitTransformAssignLaunch(__payload). payload is the parameter which accepts the EBM file.
The sample of an EBM or the xml which is passed to this method of web service as a payload is below.

Can I get a help on this and my question is in j developer when I make a web service data control and drag and drop that method in to my pages submit button with text box taking this EBM or xml as entry and when I submit this its giving a null pointer exception. How can I overcome this.
    Regards
    Satbir Singh

    Hi,
for complex services like this the recommendation is to use a JAX-WS proxy client, put a POJO in front (wrapper) to access information and methods to expose in the application and create a POJO DC from the wrapper. This not only is more powerful and allows you to intercept data calls, it also gives you a netter option for debugging and error handling in case something fails.

  • Standard backend service data vanishes on click of a button in HCM Forms

    Hi,
I have a form which displays data from standard backend service SAP_PA and also from custom generic service.
When I click on a button in the form, the data from SAP_PA is disappearing.
Error message 'Please enter Personnel Number' is displaying.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

    Hi Aravind,
    Thanks for your reply...
Data is from standard backend service which is independent of user events..
Data is displaying for the first time when form is dispalyed on the portal but when user clicks on any button, data is disappearing...
Can you tell us the patch level of the system required for ESS MSS ??
As of now our system patch level is 11,,
This might be a  problem for data vanishing?

  • Standard Web Service and Customized Web Services with or without PI?

    Hi All,
I want to know how I can use Standard Web Service available in SAP  and customized Web Services
    without PI Interface?
And what is the best practice to expose services ,via PI Interface or directly?
    Thanks in advance!!
    Pushkar

This is purely based on your requirement. If you use PI middleware to expose web services, you get standard functionalities such as certificate authentication, logging, message reprocessing for the failed messages etc.  If your requirement is so simple, then you might not need PI. In this case you can develop simple webdynpro for abap program to create webservice and expose the webservice in ECC webservice runtime. You can let anyone to consume within your network. other ways like exposing BAPI/RFC as webservice.  I would recommend going with PI.

  • How to call standard ITS service from custom ITS service

    Hi,
I have a requierement in ITS where I need to call standard ITS service(CATW) from custom service upon clicking on Accept button. how to achieve this?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi  Sarada Nukala,
You can call the service url from first service button. To get this url, from SICF transaction, test service and a browser is opened.
    Hope this helps,
    Iván.

  • Standard Web Service to get message audit log?

    Hi,
Is there any standard web service to get the audit log of a message based on its message id?
    Thanks in advance.

Standard web service is not available....however if you want to get the audit log details then you need to make a JCo call (if i am not wrong) to one of the SAP tables: XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT

  • What is the proper way to publish standard proxies/services using PI?

    Hello experts,
Iu2019m working on a Project where we have an ECC 6.0 and we need to publish some standard services to external third-party applications. We found that the functionality that these third-party applications need is accomplished by the service MaintenanceRequestCreateRequestConfirmation_In of component ESA ECC-SE 603. As we are centralizing all our interfaces in SAP Process Intregration I have installed the ESA ECC-SE 603 XI content in SAP PI. After the installation, in tr. SPROXY transaction of the ECC system I can see the proxy properly implemented and ready to be called. And now I have to configure the interface in Integration Directoy. What I wonder is whatu2019s the best practice to configure this in PI? As I can see in ESR the service category is Inbound but, if Iu2019m not wrong, I have to publish a Outbound service? What should I do? Copy the entire definition to my own Software Component and create my own Outbound service? What is the proper way to publish standard proxies/services using PI?
    Thank you in advance.

Using the Page Items to Submit property on the report region, the Refresh action is all that should be needed. I created a copy of page 2 on page 3, removed the Set Value action, and it is working as expected. I don't have access to 4.2.1 to try it on that specific patch level, but I've been using Page Items to Submit with a Refresh DA since 4.2.0 with no problems.

  • Infinity roll-out kills Standard Broadband Service

BT have rolled out Infinity to my area and since the roll-out my Standard Broadband Service has deteriorated to an extent that BT have confirmed they can longer guarantee me that service (despite the fact they are still willing to charge me for it)! Anyone else been impacted in this way?  I've been told my only option to obtain Broadband is to pay for the more expensive Infinity.

Its not an issue in all areas, but the longer the distance from the cab, the more noticeable it is. Generally, if people are getting very low speeds due to distance, it does make sense for them to upgrade to Infinity, if its available.
I believe that the Infinity pricing is fairly competitive anyway.
Infinity has not really interested me because I get between 9-11Mb on my line, and I use broadband talk quite a lot.
My local connection is not perfect, and one of the two pairs into my house are faulty anyway, and the current pair does have a HR somewhere, which can show itself if the landline is not used for a week (no DC wetting, if you know what that means)
That can result in an occasional disconnection on an incoming PSTN call, but not enough to worry about.
    To fb3
What connection speed do you get at the moment?

  • Standard Web service for Plant maintenance

    Hi Gurus,
I am new to Web services.Could you plese let me know is there any standard web services for Plant maintenance?
    Thanks & Regards
    Bhuvana

    Hi,
This is the mail which i got from Client.
We have a prospect wanting to see a proof of concept (and pay for it) of SAP -GIS integration using web services. No specific requirement. Fetch a bunch of work orders from SAP using web service and display on a map - can be the POC.
Please review the attached doc. Figure out whether any standard web service is available, if not a BAPI can be converted to web service quickly.
Attchment contains Utilizing State oriented Communications
for Web Services based on BAPI With Microsoft Visual Studio
2005.U can check it in Google with the same name.
They just asked about is there any Standard web services available for Plant maintenance.

  • Abstraction/ tailoring of standard enterprise services

    Hi,
we use standard SAP services modeled in the ESR. In a middle layer (CAF in our case) we abstract the fields we need.
I was wondering if it's not better to have an abstraction layer in the backend as well (or replace the CAF with backend abstraction layer), because all data in the service is transfered every time to the CAF.
Isn't it better to limit the data that is retrieved from the backend system or is it possible to configure the backend standard services to limit the data that is transfered?
    kind regards,
    Pieter

Yes, it's only available as of NW 7.02.
Depending on what your actual requirements are (i.e. You always want to limit the response structure or only in certain cases) then you can version your operation/s (one for a detailed response & one for a not so deailed response). So you would add an additional field (e.g. indicator for detailed or summary response) in the request structure apply some delta logic in your CAF layer to decide which operation to invoke.
Then in the backend you could wrap the standard enterprise service in a custom proxy for each operation & you would get the desired abstration. It's a very unattractive approach though.

  • What adapter to use for calling standard enterprise services from PI?

When calling a standard enterprise service that rtesides e.g. on an SAP ERP system, what is the adapter that should be used? Is it a WS adapter, a Proxy adapter, or something else?

You could use Proxy adapter, WS adapter  or  SOAP Adapter

  • Need info on Standard Web services to pull Order data in CRM from external applications

    Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to pull Order data in CRM from external non-sap application using Web services. Are there any standard SAP provided web services to pull order data based on some input? If yes, can you provide me any kind of documentation related to this?
    Appreciate your help on this.

  • Issue in generating Invoice with standard and service material

There is one scenario where along with standard material (i.e Tube bending machine) they charge the customer for the Design and Development of a machine (which is a service). Is it possible to make a standard order with the standard material(with excise and cst/vat) and service material (with service tax only) in one single order?
I have tried with both the material in a single order but while making invoice system is taking only the standard material as in  item category we have mentioned Billing relevance from delivery document. And service material will not have the delivery.
I would be thankful if you could spare some time and check the exact problem.

    Hello,
Yes.. this is a common problem when you use Delivery relevent material and service material in the same order. Why don't you use the service material in differnt order and invoice it? or do you have any restriction like the delivery relevent material and the service material should be billed in one invoice?

  • Consuming C4C Standard Web Service in External Web System

    Hi all,
I am required to consume a standard c4c web service, for eg. Manage Opportunities, in my external web service to trigger the Maintain function to upload an attachment automatically.
So i setup the communication arrangement in my c4c test tenant, downloaded the wsdl, tested it in SoapUI and it is successful.
So my question is, how do i actually consume this web service in my external system using Visual Studio? I have added a Service Reference in my external system and created the proxy class. My problem is how do i actually pass the soap message to the C4C web service? I see the MaintainBundle method requires SAP customized data type to be passed in.
    Thanks!

    Jacob
