Standard PS (WBS) Extractor and cube that contains data generated by CJR2

Hi Experts,
Can someone recommend a suitable standard extractor for us to extract plan data that was generated in R/3 PS, via transaction code CJR2, as well as a standard PS Cube that stores that data?
The extractor and Cube should be able to capture characteristics such as, sender cost center, Activity Type, WBS element, Activity quantity, total costs, version, posting periods, fiscal year etc.
I searched through those many extractors and cubes, but could not find one.

Convert the data connection to UDC (store it in a Data Connection Library within the same site collection as the form library). See if this works without any other changes, but if not, then...
Manually edit your UDC file in Notepad (or your preferred editor) so that the authentication line is not commented out and so that it references the name of the SSO target app you created.
For Type, use NTLM.
Ensure the user has rights to access the database
Also ensure the connection file has been approved - A sharepoint admin can access a non approved Ucdx file. Go to the connection library and approve the file

Retrieve lowest (entity) members that contain data

I'm faced with a dilemma (obviously).
In Essbase (9.3) Report Script Editor I'm supposed to write an export script that is supposed to select the lowest (entity) members that contain data.
Does anyone know any way to do this?
Would really appreciate any tips.

What I need is the lowest members that HAVE data^^^I am a broken record, and an unlistened one at that. Of course, who would be silly enough to play a broken record? And who on this board is even old enough to know what a record is? But I digress...
As I wrote before, if you use DATAEXPORT, and then pick the DATAEXPORTOPTION that selects input level data, you will get the level zero AND the upper level data. Level 0 one month, level 1 the next, level 2 the month after that, right back down to level 0. Input data does both for you.
Per the Tech Ref:
DataExportLevel ALL | LEVEL0 | INPUT
* Input—Input blocks only (blocks containing data from a previous data load or spreadsheet Lock & Send). This option excludes dynamically calculated data.Regards,

Supress Missing Blocks : Suppressing rows that contains data

Hi,
In Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2, on a webform if I do supress missing blocks, it suppresses rows that contains data also (for 3 particular members of the dimension selected in the row).
This webform is otherwise a huge report & if I do not check on supress missing blocks, the application hangs on trying to open this report (webform).
Summarizing, on selecting supress missing blocks, it should bring me data for 90 members but it is currently displaying results for 87 members.

Are you definitely sure there are no blocks for those members, maybe there is data but it is just set as #missing and the blocks have not been removed.

I want to search for a pattern string in the entire registry and need to delete all the keys and sub-keys that contain the pattern. How can I implement this in VB Script or C#? Appreciate if you can give some sample examples. Now every time, I am manually
searching for the pattern in registry and deleting one by one.

There is no built in way to do this. You'll end up having to enumerate all keys and values in the entire registry and comparing each one for a pattern using Regex or similar. This is going to be really slow but there isn't much else you can do about
it (other than parallelize the enumeration). Also note that you won't have permissions to all keys for read and/or write access so you'll need to skip over those using exception handling.

Reading A xml file and sending that XML Data as input to a Service

I have a requirement to read(I am using File adapter to read) a xml file and map the data in that xml to a service(schema) input variable.
Example of xml file that I have to read and the content of that xml file like below:

I have to pass the data(ravi,EEE,raghu etc) to a service input varible. That invoked Service input variable(schema) contains the schema similar to above schema.
My flow is like below:
ReadFile file adapter -------------------> BPEL process -----> Target Service.I am using transform activity in BPEL process to map the data from xml file to Service.
I am using above xml file as sample in Native Data format(to create XSD schema file).
After I built the process,I checked file adapter polls the data and receive the file(I am getting View xml document in EM console flow).
But transform activity does not have anything and it is not mapping the data.I am getting blank data in the transform activity with only element names like below

Thank you very much for your replies so far so that I have some progrees in my task.
As you told I could have put default directory in composite.xml,but what happenes is the everyday new final subdirectory gets created in the 'soafolder' folder.What I mean is in the c:/soafolder/1234_xmlfiles folder, the '1234_xmlfiles' is not manually created one.It is created automatically by executing some jar.
Basically we can't know the sub folder name until it is created by jar with its own logic. whereas main folder is same(soafolder) ever.
I will give you example with our folder name so that it would be more convenient for us to understand.
1) yesterday's the folder structure : 'c:/soafolder/130731_LS' .The '130731_LS' folder is created automatically by executing some jar file(it has its own logic to control and create the subdirectories which is not in our control).
2) Today's folder structure : 'c:/soafolder/130804_LS. The folder is created automatically(everytime the number part(130731,130804).I think that number is indicating 2013 july 31 st like that.I have to enquire about this)is changing) at a particular time and xml files will be loaded in the folder.
Our challenge : It is not that we can put the default or further path in composite.xml and poll the file adapter.Not everytime we have to change the path in composite.xml.The process should know the folder path (I don't know whether it is possible or not.) and everyday and file adapter poll the files in that created subfolders.
I hope you can understand my requirement .Please help me out in this regard.

In my scenario, i m trying to pull out data from sql server using windows authentication and display in infopath form.
I set some rules in textbox control change that retrieve data from sql database.
and I have enabled cross domain data access for user form .
and i have stored the connection file into the connection library and i have approved.
The form working fine in server (browser), but whenever i m trying to open the form in client browser i m getting the below error.
please assist me to resolve this error.

Please make sure following options are enabled in Central Administration > General Application
Settings > InfoPath Forms Service > Configure InfoPath Forms Services.
1) Allow user form templates to use authentication information contained in data connection files.
2) Allow cross-domain data access form user form templates that use connection settings in a data connection file.

Do you use host name to access the data source? If yes, please
check of the DisableLoopback check is enabled. Please make sure the loopback check is disabled on all SharePoint servers and reboot server to test if it works.

Actually in tcode IA02, when we select an operation & make it delete...then in table PLPO i am getting no deletion field. Actually i am making a change BDC for changing the frequency of the operation. So in that i need to consider the deleted operation........

How do I reuse my Date dimension in every fact and dimension that has dates?

I have a fact table in the middle of a star and three dimensions. Each of the four objects has a modified date in it. Is there a way for me to create and reuse a Date dimension for every one of the three dimensions and one fact? I want
to be able to slice data by ModifiedDate from D1, ModifiedDate from D2, ModifiedDate from D3, and ModifiedDate from F1 at the same time because I have a very custom date roll-up by which I want to see the data.
I suppose I can re-instance the Date table in the DSV 4 times, but I wanted to know if I can resolve this via a separate Date dimension. Thanks!

If say you want to slice the cube on modified date from all dimension D1, D2 and D3 using a single attribute, then try if the following works
create a new date attribute lets say [Slice Date] in Date dimension and later use MDX scope statement somewhat like this

Using PHP Data Services to create an object and accessing that objects data in an unbound way in AS

Hello,
I've been able to use the php data services and bind the results of a function to a component. However I am having a hard time figuring out the syntax to use the data services to create an object out of the results, and then use that object as an array of filenames to provide the current index of the filename to a new sound object.
My problem is obviously in not being able to figure out the specific syntax, I have declared the service and and object of the services returned type and in the creationComplete() function I have assigned object.token = service.getData();
I've tried various ways of then pulling that data out of the object, with no success.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
This code probably looks horrible because it doesn't work yet.

In retrieving your data - what is your php returning to FB, an object, object array, an array? Either way, I have a brief example below that an object(s) is being returned. Pull the data from the lastResult in a ResultEvent. The object instantiated in the resultEvent will contain your data and you can do what you want from there.
Also, I always use Network Monitor to see what data (if any) is being returned from the server, you can also see how it is being sent back.

Creating custom fields for manual entry and fields that gather data from Active Directory

So I am no SQL developer but I am being asked to do this.. I've spent the last few days researching but cannot find anything related to my particular situation.
I have made a copy of the following report to add or modify a few columns:
Hardware 01A - Summary of computers in a specific collection
So I have 2 questions:
How do I create a field that will search the "Managed By" tab in the Computer Properties window in Active Directory.
How do I create a field that can be manually updated for example: "Date Deployed" or "Deployed By: Analyst"
I understand I need edit this in SQL report builder and think I know how to create the columns. I believe all I am really asking is.. What are the SQL statements I need to write in order to get this to work?
I'm sure it's not as cut and dry as I hope it to be so I will be standing by to try to answer any further information that you will want to know.

Before you can accomplish this you need:
"Managed by" -attribute has to be added to your Active Directory System Discovery, more on this here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb693618.aspx
For "Date Deployed", I'd use a custom Tattoo script in your task sequence to "Tattoo" the installation info in the registry, after that I'd configure the Hardware Inventory to pick that from the registry, more on this here: http://ccmexec.com/2012/08/script-to-tattoo-the-client-registry-during-osd/

BW Statistics - 0BWTC_C03 - unable to run extractor and get data

BW Statistics was previously installed, however much of the data that
was being collected was for infoobjects. I went into BW (RSA1 - InfoProvider - Tools - BW Statistics for InfoProvider)
and deselected all and then selected the ODS Objects and Cubes that I wanted data to be calculated for.
I went into the cube that I was interested in 0BWTC_C03 and saw that there was an error on the dataload.
I decided to just empty the contents and reload for just this cube. However, the dataload failed:
TSV_TNEW_OCCURS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY
I then went into RSA3 and tried to run the extractor (0BWTC_C03) for just 1 row and it just kept running.
Since there were not selection criteria on this datasource, I went into RSA6, but I was unable to enable any of the
fields for selection.
Has anyone run into the problem before?
Are they any sort of setup tables that can be emptied? I just need to pull data from today on. I don't want the
system to try to load any of the previous data (it wasn't valuable).

not sure if deleting statistical data will solve the problem,
to delete statistical data (RSDDSTAT* tables), you can go to RSA1 - InfoProvider - Tools - BW Statistics for InfoProvider, in next screen there is 'delete statistical data' (trash icon), or you can try program (se38) RSDDK_STA_DEL_DATA, specify the date. please note once these tables' data deleted, it will be gone.

New fields addition to BW 3.5 version ODS and Cube and transport to PRD.

We have a scenarion on 3.5 wherein there is a enhancement to ODS and Cube(few new fileds are added), this New ODS also feeds data to Cube. Since we do not had data on Quality system, we had no problem in adding fields to ODS and cube, but now we need transport these changes to Production, In production ODS and Cube has large data. we have few doubts.
1. Shall we need to delete data from ODS and Cube then Transport request to Production server.
2. Is it ok to move transport request without deleting data in ODS and Subsequent Cube in production system

what is your suggestion on this one. WE are in BW 3.5 only. No BI7.

the image will over write with the existing one and for the new object add , a new table space will be created.
it will not affect the Old data
But in the Cube even if the data is there there is a concept called remodeling

Hyperion Explorer 8.3 querying multiple tables that contain a specific item

I have 3 annual tables that contain data for 3 different years. Each table has a sale amount, item sold, and customer ID. I want to pull a specific customer ID from all 3 tables at once.
Is there a way to achieve this?

Add the 3 fields from the first table, then click Query > Append Query, then add the same 3 fields in the same order from the second table, then add the same 3 fields in the same order from the third table. This creates a UNION between the three tables; which means they need to be in the same order and have the same datatype.
If you want to show duplicate data found in the different sources, just change the UNION operator to a UNION ALL operator, otherwise it will suppress any duplicate rows.
To limit the data to one specific customer ID, you can set a limit on each of the UNION tabs with 'Customer ID = <selection>'.

You are right by your approach to update from PSA to ODS as u have wrritten before. Just got to PSA tree select the PSA request and choose update Immediatly or scedule for update.
(and if u have 0FI_GL_4 but u r not using it ..it is fine. I was telling that in case u have that and you are trying to use somethin with 0FI_AP_4)
