You can find in help as well.
To install them you will have to install the whole flow for the queries like cubes, transformation etc.
Drag the cubes and it will drag the necessary objects and then you can install all of them.
chose necessary objects when grouping them.

  • Regarding Standard Queries

    Hi Experts,
Please tell me are there any standard queries or Cubes are available for the following reports?
    A) ANNUAL ORDER BOOK TARGET
    B) ORDER BOOK TARGET TILL THE LAST MONTH
    C) ACTUAL ORDER BOOK ACHIEVED TILL LAST MONTH
    D) TOTAL U.E.O.B.TILL LAST MONTH
    E) ORDER EXPECTED IN THE CURRENT MONTH
    F) ORDER LOST DURING THE MONTH
    Thanks In advance

    Hi,
    It depends on Requirements.
    1. Find out the requirements gathering from the functional team.
    2. Gather the reporting layouts as you mentioned list.
    3. check any  standared objects suitable to your requirement (Mentioned Reports).
    4. If any Standard Objects available then
Goto RSA1> Select Metadata repository> Give the Datataget name--> Select Search button.
it will display the network flow. click on Network flow--> you can find the Standard Reports.
    5. You can install the standard suitable reports from BI Content.
    6. If Standared Objects are not available in BI content, then you have to customize the Objects link Datasource/DSO/CUBEs and Queries which are more relevant to your requirement.

    Hi Devi
Before answering the question the following are the tweaks that are in mind
Is it the requirement that business wants only the standard content queries related to particular info area..???
If yes  and the system is greenfield one(assuming new system)
    please follow the below steps...
Choose grouping as only necessary and then collection mode automatically and then flag the objects and install it in back ground.
Just ensure that you have placed the match or copy option it it is not a green field system..
Here is the link for BI content installation  procedure [Installing Business Content|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/80/1a66d5e07211d2acb80000e829fbfe/frameset.htm]
    Hope its clear a little..!

  • Delete standard queries in SPM

    Hi All,
We are on SPM 2.1 SP5. SPM out of the box list the standard queries as the list of datasources on the SPM UI. In my current assignment we dont use any other queries other than Spend Analysis Final and Spend Analysis Detail. We would ideally like to delte all the remaining queries from front end. When I goto Administration --> Analysis Administration --> Application Properties --> Datasources i see delete icon next to each data source. But for some reason there is no action post clicking the delete icon next to standard datasources. Also i could successfully delete "Z" datasources created and added by me.
PS: Datasources above means the Bex queries included in SPM UI as datasources.
    - Help Appreciated.
    Regards,
    Sampat Desai

    Hi Sampat,
I think you need the content creator role for this, create a blank ABAP role ZXSA_CONTENT_CREATOR and assign it to yourself in the back end (SU01). Or you can do it in the UI if you have the relevant auths. That should enable you to delete the out of the box data sources. Be careful with this role, you can delete all standard content. Also, SAP say you should only have this role applied for a specific action that explicitly requires it, not general use, so either create a special user for it, or remove it after completing the aforementioned action.
Also would recommend upgrading to the latest SP. SP6 patch 4 as there are some important fixes that were affecting our system.
Hope this helps, let me know if it works
    Thanks
    Neil

  • Activating standard queries from BI content

    Hi Guys,
Can u give me the step by step process to activate standard queries from the BI content with all its related objects.
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi,
    To install Query:
RSA1->Business Content->first choose 'Collection Mode' Start Manual Collection.
Click 'Source System Assignment' button and tick R/3 source system or other source system related (Normally this setup will be done if someone already installed business contents before).
Then left window choose 'Object Type' -> middle window choose 'Query Elements->Query' and double click 'Select Object' -> find the Query you want to install, and click 'Transfer'.
Query will be transferred to right window, click Grouping and choose option 'Only Necessary Objects',
After objects collection is done, click 'Install'-> Install (you can do simulation here, check the help for details).
    Thanks & Regards,
    SD

    Hi Naga,
You can start looking at the business content from this link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/3d/5fb13cd0500255e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
Here you can also use the search box (upper right) and in the dropdown choose BI Content. Start looking at Supply Chain Management to find the sub areas for Procurement, Manufacturing and Inventory Management.
You can also find the best practices for some modules here:

  • Standard queries and flow not visible in Ides server

    Dear gurus
I am new to imlpememntation,i am try to find out if the standard reports of different modules suffice our requirement. I am checking the business content, infact i checked in metadeta repository but i dont see the different standard cubes of different modules in IDES...i dont really know...are they generally not available in IDES and tehy can only be seen in development server...or am i missing a trick here...i want to see the whole flow but i dont see it for any of the modules ...kindly suggest

In Metadata reporsitory, have you chosen the link Bus content objects on the left?
Also do you find BI_CONT software component in the dialog that appears when you choose...System menu --> Status and hit the comp info button in SAP Sys data section?
Thanks murali for your response. By checking the option on the left i guess u mean by checking business content local objects
instead of Activated objects local objects.
By following your instructions i see that the BI_CONT software component is not present  there. what nxt?

  • Standard and Non-standard exports and queries issue

    Hi,
We have created a few STANDARD books with standard exports in them. The standard exports use standard queries.
The ISSUE is that in the Verifications/Filters tab, where we have put in a lot of queries - ONLY the STANDARD queries show up. We would like to have all the queries show up. I am the adminsitrator and still only the standard ones show up.
I am worried that if I "Save As" the export as a non-standard export, it does not allow me to uncheck the standard tick column and save it but I have to manually change the name of the export. Can we change this in anyway?
Is there a system preference where I can allow all the queries to show up in the verifications/filter tab at least for the admnistrators if not for all? Thanks
    - Ad

Thanks for your input but DRM does seem to be behaving what you said or may be I am still missing something here.
    I created a standard query.
    I have a standard export.
Now, in the verification/filter tab of my Standard export, I am able to see my standard queries.
    But,
I am unable to see the Non-Standard Queries.
    HOWEVER,
If I have a Non-Standard export --> I am able to ALL the queries. This makes it a lot more flexible in doing things.
My question is the WHY are my standard exports not able to reach the non-standard queries. What I wanted to do a twist in my export for analysis purposes for a particular use. If non-standard exports have access to Standard and Non-Standard queries --> it just makes more sense to always use a non-standard export and create non-standard queries.

  • Transport Queries with RSAQR3TR doesn't work

    Hi,
I'm tryinf to transport changes made to query from dev to prod. In SQ02 I tried using the transport-button, but it gives me no options for Exporting or downloading only to copy from standard to global area and vice versa.
I tried calling the report RSAQR3TR directly, here I have all options, but when I'm choosing the option "Export" and specify the desired query, I get the message that nothing matching my selection has been found.
Any idea, why I can't transport queries? Does this depend on the standard/global area? If so: where can I change this?
    Thanks and regards,
    Jan Hempel

    Jan,
Here is what <a href="https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700007342672001">Note 127182</a> says about transporting global queries vs. standard queries:
<i>All query objects (queries, functional areas, user groups) are created client-independent in the <b>global work area</b> of the query. These objects are therefore displayed in all clients of a system and can be used by all clients. In addition, <b>the objects of this work area have a connection to the workbench organizer, so that changing and transporting of such objects is organized according to common procedures for workbench objects</b>.
In contrast to this, query objects are client-specific in the <b>standard area</b> and have no connection to the workbench organizer. The transport of these type of objects must be organized using a special utilities function (Environment -> Transports function in Transaction SQ02).</i>
Further information on this topic can be found in <a href="https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700007427742001">Note 412054</a>.  Mainly this note describes transporting query variants but in the section on "Transporting Queries" it mentions, "A detailed description of the procedure for transporting queries, including variants, is provided in the section 'Transport query objects' of the query guide."
It looks like transporting a global query should be through the normal Workbench Organizer tools.  See the following links for more info:<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/83/ca5d6688d511d194ec0000e82de14a/content.htm">Query Transport</a>.
