Standard text having '&ULINE&' not printed in adobe form????

I have a standard text in so10 which is to be used in my adobe form .
The standard text uses '&ULINE&' to print a line . This when used by script was interpreted and a line is being printed.
But when the same standard text is inluded in the adobe form , it throws a runtime
error saying that " Field '&ULINE&' does not exist".
Could some one help me out how to get this standard text printed in adobe form.

Sapscript and Standard Text - Polish Characters not printing

Hi,
I have created an English Sapscript and translated it to Polish via transaction SE76.
Changing my PC Region and Language settings to Polish allowed me to enter Polish Characters into Hardcoded text in the Sapscript and Standard Text via s010.
I have two problems:
1) With my PC Region and Language settings set to Polish, when I create my sapscript output some of the polish characters that I have entered via SE76 and SO10 do not appear and are replaced by others e.g.
ę is dispalyed as ê
ć is displayed as æ
ń is displazed as #
2) I have a business requirement to be in England Logged with PC Region and Language set to English but to print a sapscript output in Polish. Is this possible.
We are currently on non unicode SAP system.
Please can anyone advise.

Hello,
SAP discourages mixed code page or MDMP systems and with good reason. If there is any possibility of you upgrading to a Unicode system in the near future you should try to wait for it. Supporting multiple languages in Unicode is easy, in MDMP it can be quite tricky. And MDMP makes the move to Unicode more difficult.
That said, your BASIS team can enable Polish and you can print in Polish while your PC is set for English. The SAPScript/Form must be in Polish or using an INCLUDE that is LANGUAGE 'PL' to let SAP know which code page to use when printing.
Seriously, look at moving to Unicode, you need to do it eventually anyways.

How to display the Standard Text (SO10) based on condition in adobe forms

I have created the Standard texts (through SO10 tr.code) of 4 plant addresses. In the Layout of adobe form, i want to display any one plant address based on the plant number (as a input) and the rest 3 standard text need to be hide. i tried in Form clac to hide, but i unable to succeed. could you please help me, in this regard.

Hi,
You can add all the 4 text in your context menu and create an condition for text.
Example: (LS_HEADER is a structure only for example, you need to decide based on your own form interface)
Text_1000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 1000
Text_2000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 2000
Text_3000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 3000
Text_4000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 4000
The text satisfyling your condition will only be printed and you can assign these text to the same block in PDF form.

Command lines in text module is not working in adobe forms

I have a problem, I have a text module with variables and I placed it in Adobe form its working fine, my problem is I added a command line /: NEW PAGE in the text module, it couldn't trigger a new page at that place.Can anyone help me out in this regard.

Data not printing in adobe form

Hi,
I have copied standard interface PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM to Z interface and assigned the Z interface in my Z form. I have created an internal table GT_HISTORY in Global data. I moved the data from existing table to Global internal table GT_HISTORY in initialization event. Input parameter is IT_HISTORY and ouput parameter is GT_HISTORY for Initializtion event.
Data from GT_HISTORY is not getting printed.
I kept breakpoint in FM generated by the form. Data is being moved to GT_HISTORY table but still it is not getting printed.
I would like to know, do we need to assign this Z interface somewhere?

Hi Mohammed,
as you explained, it seem you have done things rightly. I think you problem is not of configuration but some coding mistake..
1.Just put break point after the place where you have populated data and check whether internal table has any data or not
2. If you see data in that place then just check your binding of the table fields in layout design...Path... Palletes->object-> Binding...

Standard text displayed correctly in print preview but not in print

Hi,
I have a script in which a standard text has to be printed in the output.
The standard text contains some german characters.
These characters are displayed correctly in print preview but not in print.
The text is maintained in 3 languages DE,EN and Russian.
The same text is being printed in some standard report. But that is displayed correctly both in print and print preview.
Please suggest something.

It indicates that you have to be sure to select "Unicode" fonts for your SAPScript form to ensure the proper printing of "Unicode" characters. If a character does not display then that means it does not exist in the font that you are using.

Help Me Please! I can not print in Adobe Reader. This is what is happening: I select print, the status bar shows pages being sent to the printer, the printer Hicups, clicks, clangs, clunks, and Burps and nothing comes out; No error, No copy. No, I haven't looked for an updated driver for my printer but I will give that a try. I was able to print using the "print as image" function but it really bogged my system down to pre-Pentium days. I'll let you know if the driver update works. Thanks for reaching out!

How to avoid that some text [instructions] will be printed in PDF (forms)?

The idea is that some texts may be seen in the screen but not printed when the form is filled up.
Adobe has information on this in ECycle but could not find any reference in Acrobat X or Indesign.
It may be a solution to convert a frame text to a button and change thus its appeareance; but converting many continous texts in a form to single frames is a very dispensing task.

Place the text in a text field and set its visibility properties to "Visible, but doesn't print".
Alternatively, if the text is a part of the running text of the PDF and can't be placed in a form field, place a white form field on top of this text, and set that field's visibility to "Hidden but printable", so it would in effect hide the text underneath it when the file is printed, but will be invisible when viewed on screen.

Check Printing in Adobe Form

Hi,
My requirement is to modify the layout of Check Printing program RFFOUS_C from SAP Script to Adobe Form. I am using ECC6.0. I went through the code, and figured out that include RFFORI01does the check printing part using Open_Form Function module.
Also going through other threads, I figured out that there is no exit in the program RFFOUS_C and the only way to modify it is create a copy of that program and add changes to ZRFFORI01. In the adobe form, apart from normal check printing, i need to add few fields from HR module too.
Any help/ sample code, on how to incorporate this, would be really helpful as I am new to ABAP.

Problem in Dierct print of Adobe form

My requirement is to print the Adobe form directly.when user execute the particular Z transaction. Then the form should be print.
I have given all print parameters to the FM FP_JOB_OPEN.I am using ADS.
But i am getting the print when I excute that Z-transaction with below message
<b>PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing</b>. What might be the problem.

Hello,
we have the same problem here.
Printer seems to need 128MB physical memory, anything less results in the "PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing" string or just cryptic signs.
Printing via the adobe reader works fine on the same printer.
In most scenarios direct printing is needed but its not sure if the attached printer have the minimum required memory.
Is there a chance to do direct print with less than 128MB physical memory?
Faking 128MB to windows does not work.

Text Field value display twice in Adobe Form.

Why don't you have two different text fields in the interface and bind them separately at the two different places in the form. In the driver program you can control the value being passed to be same for both the fields.

Print Preview not working for Adobe forms

Hello experts,
I am new to designing of Adobe forms. I have the following installations already in place:
1. ADS
2. Designer 7.0
3. Adobe Reader 8.0
I am trying to execute the standard report FP_EXAMPLE_01 to test whether Adobe forms work coherently with my system config is fine.
When trying to execute thsi report prg , I get a very perculiar message on clicking on print preview bttn "ADS: Request start time: Tue Feb 05 12:25:05 IST 2008(200.101) "
Now I am not sure whether it is a Basis issue with the ADS config or Printer settings ?
Please advise.

That is not required functionality. it should display a Adobe Form for Invoice processing.
I doubt there might be some problem with ADS configuration.
Can you please do the following test and let me know the result ?
If the Adobe Interactive Forms have been installed correctly, the
following tests should run without errors:
First test:
1) Call transaction SE38.
2) Enter the report name "FP_PDF_TEST_00" and choose "Execute" (or press F8).
3) Enter "ADS" in the entry field for the connection, and choose
"Execute" (or press F8).
4) The system should issue a dialog box containing the current version
information.
Second test:
1) Call transaction SE38.
2) Enter the report name "FP_TEST_00" and choose "Execute" (or press
F8).
3) Enter "FP_TEST_00" for the form, "2" for the number of output pages,
and "ADS" for the ADS connection. The choose "Execute".
4) Enter a valid output device and choose "Print Preview".
5) The Adobe Reader should be displayed in the GUI, and display two
pages with numbered lines.
Third test:
1) Call transaction SE38.
2) Enter the report name "FP_TEST_IA_01" and choose "Execute" (or press
F8).
3) Enter "FP_TEST_IA_01" for the form, "ADS" for the ADS connection, and
any data in the other entry fields (these are already filled with
default values). Then choose "Execute" (or press F8).
4) Enter a valid output device and choose "Print Preview".
5) The Adobe Reader should be displayed in the GUI, and display a page
with address fields.
6) Scroll down to the frame for the new address, and fill in those
fields.
At the end of the form, an entry field for the date and a value help
exists. Choose the input help button and check if the system displays
the datepicker.
Now you will know yourself if there is any problem with ADS configuration.
