Standard text in SO defined as bold doesn't come out bold in smartform

Hi Gurus,
I have created a standard text in SO10 transaction and I have given to it the characteristic highlighted (bold) the test effectively appears as bold while in SO10.
However when I call this standard text in a smartform (which is treated to be edited as a spool in a subsequent step), my so-called text does not show up with the highlited chatacteristic specified on the spool printout.
Can anyone tell me how I could solve this ?

create a style with bold and then use it in smartform.

As Guido said, you can use BootCamp to partition the drive. If you want to install, or reinstall Windows. You would launch BootCamp and it will actually guide you through the installation, you will only need to decide how large a partition you want. I would use BootCamp, I would not use disk utility. When you have installed Windows and you want to boot into windows, when you start your MBP hold down the option key, this will give you trha option of booting Mac OSX or Windows.

Associate your mobile number with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so:
Apple - My Apple ID
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
Sign out on the iPhone
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage.
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions. See:

RO doesn't come out of 'provisioning' state even though tasks are Completed

I'm having an issue where I provision a user to a RO.
Both System Validation and Create User (which are the only two tasks marked as Required for Completion') are ok.. and both are marked Completed but instead of the resource object changing to a 'Provisioned' state for the user.. it doesn't get out of 'Provisioning'.
The user is created in the RO, I can login and everything.. all my db tables are populated the way they should be.
This is an issue because I can't 'Disable' a RO that is in the 'Provisioning' state, even though the user has access to the RO.
Anyone have an idea of what it could be?

very simple my friend. Check your task to object status mapping of the create user task. It should be set as C as Provisioned.

Is CS 6 Design Standard available as a trial? It doesn't come up in Download Assistant...

I can't seem to find CS6 Design Standard on the Download Assistant. There's Design and Web premium and Master Collection, but I think I intend to buy the Design Standard package so would like to just install that. The web page (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=design_standard&loc=ar_ae) implies that there is, but then that doesn't match with the Download Assistant.

You need to initiate the download from the trial page you indiciated. Once you sign into the Adobe Download Assistant it will then begin your download.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

Using the app Notes when I print from it the information on the paper doesn't come out

WWhen I use the app Notes on my iPad & I go to print out what I just wrote & when I go to the printer it is barely readable? There is ink in the printer.
And if I print anything else from my iPad it comes out fine. What is the problem & how can I fix it

Thanks Ralph, i tried that but it still didnt change the ID on the apps store. Strange thing is I tried my origional password and it worked, it seems the Apple ID ie my email address is not transfering to the app store , as when I try to download something and it requests my password when the Apple ID box opens, the ID is still missing a letter? Im at a loss as to how this happened or how to change it, but as it s working with my old password should I be worried about it? its different to anything else On apple ID , other than the one missing letter its the same email address but a different password for each one. It seems that what ever is in my Apple ID, it wont transfer to the app store Apple ID?

Sound doesn't come out!

I just got a new 16 gb i pod touch today and after I synced a song to it downloaded off itunes and I tried to play it no sound would come out. I tried differnt head phones and different songs. It says it's playing and the volume is up... Help!

hey im sorta having the same problem. it was working fine until i tried to put headphones in it. The head phones wouldn't fit so I took them out. Now the speakers wont work (and I have the volume up and everything) and my music is freezing. The rest of my itouch is slower than before but it still works. Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

STANDARD TEXT with BITMAP command in SMARTFORM

I defined standard text in SO10:

.. and this standard text included to my smartform.
But no picture appears.

Hi Josef!
If you want to use the graphics from SO10 you have to change the syntax. Instead of "bitmap" you should use "include", the object should be text and you need the textid. If you use the bitmap-call you should upload the image with SE78. If you're transporting your syntax from one system to the other you have to include the image in your transport order or you have to upload it in each system.
If you want good quality you should use SE78 and the BITMAP-call instead of SO10.

After creating the standard text in SO10 transaction
it will not ask for any transport request no while saving ,
i want to transport the standard text from development to test server.
how can we do that?

Hi Riaz,
To transport a Standard Text through a transport request , you need to attach the standard text through the transaction RSTXTRAN.
After executing the report RSTXTRAN , you can enter first the task name then the Object as TEXT , then the name of the standard text , ID as ST, then the language as EN or something else .then execute.
you cannot attach a standard text to an unassigned task.Firat you have to either activate a smartform or a script with that task then only you have to attach a standard text.
I think your query is almost answered .

Standard Text Indentation Issue

I have a genuine requirememnt, but ironically after a lot of search could not find anything, so I am bound to post this thread.
The requirement is as follows:-
The client has created a standard text in SO10, and that is required to be populated in the Smartform.
The text has some Numbered Lines which they want to be indented as follow -
This is a test message just to show what the requirement is.
The problem is as follows -
1. I am able to make a paragraph format in a style and can indent this line as shown here. but the problem arises when this line moves like this. The subsequent lines after the first line (as here it is) should be indented as it normally happens in a word file. The word "arises" on the second line should start below "I" on the first line.
I would appreciate any guidlines or help from anyone in order to fulfill this requirement.
If I have been unable to explain my issue please let me know I will rectify and will post again.

As per i know in Smartform we have to use INCLUDE TEXT for the text node . In that you can include your text object - Z_SD_AB_CLOSING. Kindly check the below screen :
In text object put - Z_SD_AB_CLOSING.
Language - EN

How to search a SO10 - Standard text by Content

Hi experts,
I have a standard text content. need to know how to identify the standard text object it is contained in.
Example: I have a form output which has Terms and Condition printed. The content has a word like URL:
texst.test.com. There are lot of standard text objects available in that form and many other forms. We are not able to find the corresponding standard text object.
So like to know whether it is possibel to search and find a standard text object by contect say URL:
texst.test.com?
Let me know whether this is possible to do in SAP?

It is not possible to get the standard text header by searching the contents. The tables for standard texts are STXH and STXL. Data is stored in raw clustered format.
As Raveesh metioned, manually looking into the smartform (Windows/Templates) and then using FM READ_TEXT to confirm the contents.
Thats the best possible way to get the standard text details from the contents.

IE8 Rendering Standard Text Fonts Bold?

I am currenty designing an XHTML page in Dreamweaver CS4 and have tried various standard fonts (Times New Roman, Courier, Georgia etc.) and whichever I chose the font renders absolutely perfect (as in design view) on Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari but renders BOLD in IE8. I have clearly defined the text family, size, style, variant and weight in CCS rules for the body tag and p tag and have even created a seperate class for the text but it still renders bold in IE8. I also tried to do a CSS reset but that didnt alter anything. Is there anyway around this or are my IE8 visitors just going to have to put up with bold text?

And being a little bit contrary - the font looks the same to me viewing in Firefox and using IETester IE8.
Just a side note:
I might add, that the H1 (About Us) is very difficult to read on my laptop.. seems to blend into the black background. Need to be lightened up a bit I believe.
The blue text (whether it is normal font weight or bold) is also very difficult to read on the black background - causing a bit of an accessibility issue. (My eyes are probably older than most here :-) I don't usually have problems reading up close to the monitor, but that blue is very hard on the eyes).

U can't define a standard text in a SAPScript, you call call it only by statament INCLUDE
/: INCLUDE <ST TEXT NAME> OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE <LANGUAGE>
U can define it by trx SO10.
If you need to know the text without to print it, you need to use a routine where u can use the fm READ_TEXT in order to find out the text.
