Standard version versus deluxe version

I downloaded a standard version album from Itunes. Later, a deluxe version was released. I want to download the bonus songs I don't have from this album, but Itunes says I have to purchase the entire album again. Is there a way around this?

Just buy the tracks that you don't have but still want.
if you cannot get them from the iTunes Store because they are marked "album only," try some other stores such as Amazon MP3.

I Had CS5 Extended and the Installer Upgraded me to the CS6 Standard Version

Can someone explain this to me in terms I can understand?
I was happily running CS5 Extended which I purchased about a year ago.
I installed the CS6 Beta and it installed the Extended version, which I assumed was the only beta available.
I pre-ordered CS6 about a week ago. When the script asked me what version I had, I checked CS5 Extended. It made no reference to CS6 Extended nor did it ask me which version I wanted.
I just downloaded and installed CS6 about an hour ago. I removed the CS6 Beta first as instructed. I registered the install with the serial number I was given.
I now have CS6 Standard! What must I do to get the Extended version I was previously running?
(Also, there is a bug still extant in CS6 Bridge I was going to report the other day only to discover Adobe had made the CS6 Beta forum Read Only. Let's get this Standard versus Extended problem fixed first.)

Sounds as if the serial number Adobe gave you is for the standard version. Perhaps a mistake on their part or perhaps an ordering error somewhere along the line.
I have the CS5 Design Premium and I also have CS4 Extended. I decided not to upgrade the CS5 DP so I just upgraded CS4E to CS6E. No problems at all with the install so far.
Oops, a problem! Camera Raw as shipped with CS6 does NOT support the Canon 5D Mark III. What a bummer. Looks as if Adobe dropped the ball.

To create a PDF document, go to the source application then print the document to .pdf" I am going to the source application and printing the document to .pdf yet it's saving the file as a .log file. After reinstalling the software, I initially didn't encounter this problem but on my second and third attempts to convert files to .pdf format, this error message reappeared. I have a similar problem which i did not have before...and it exists only in some powerpoint files which i want to print as a pdf file...and i get the same message as above.

No. 9.5.5 is the latest version but it is no longer supported with updates. It is possible to get Firefox to stop blocking.
Version 11 does have significant security enhancements though, particularly on Windows.

Downgrade «Photoshop CS6 Extended» to just «Photoshop CS6», it's standard version?

Hey,
recently I've replaced my MacBook Pro 17" (Mid 2010) with new Retina (15" / Early 2013) and after I've installed Adobe Photoshop it appears to be Extended version instead of Standart. And I want my standart version back. I didn't use 3D features and I'm okay with standard version. I'm running OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3) if it useful information.
So the question is: How do I downgrade my Photoshop CS6 «Extended» to «Standard» version?
What I've tried:
1. Reinstall application. No changes, still Extended version.
2. Install on differenct computer same install package. I've tried to run this on my Mac Pro — unsuccessful.
3. Reinstall application on «clean» OS X version on my previous MacBook Pro (17") — everything is okay. Standard version running as it does before.
Please help me solve this little issue, because Google left me without answers.

Simple.
It's just one and the same application, just one binary. What determines whether you get the Extended features or not is your serial number.
If you're on a subscription basis, it will always be the Extended version.
If you're using the trial version, it will be Extended. When you input a Standard serial number after you purchase it, it will become Standard.
If you've already put in your serial number and registered the applicaton and still see the Extended features, it means you paid for the Extended version.

Why is Photoshop CS 5.1 Extended installed of Standard version?

unfortunately I cannot install the Standard version of Photoshop CS 5.1, and therefore my (buyed) key is not valid.
When I try to start my Photoshop CS 5.1, it says "trial period is over" (in german) and asks a serial number for Photoshop CS 5.1 Extended. My serial (from 5.1 Standard) is not valid.
I have reinstalled several times, and there is no choice.

No need to reinstall anything. in fact the serial number dictates the functionality of Standard vs. Pro. If it's not accepted, you might wanan contact support on the matetr. also keep in mind that you may need the proper installer - the trial installer e.g. for international languages may not be able to verify the serial and you may require the localized installer for Europe/ Germany. After all, the serial also dictates the language...

Only Photoshop Extended is available for trial. It contains a superset of features, so that you can try all of them, and then decide which one to buy.

I was opening Illustrator in CS4 design standard. Odd too, because the error comes up with it showing missing plugins from Photoshop. I opened Photoshop first, then Illustrator to see if it changed anything. Yes, One of the two error messages for a plugin was gone.
To remove apps I went to the Adobe website to redownload my standard CS4 and chose "uninstall".. So I did. Restarts x 2 . Then Reopening illustrator...same thing again. Restarted, then went to Disky Utlity and cleaned up something off of it as per a internet suggestion...Sorry, it's been a long day alreay. Not me removing anything, just allowing it to do that with repairing.
The version of Mac OS is YOSEMITE 10.10.2 .
I recently updated!!! oooh nooooo! (every watch Mr. Bill on SNL?) so if the updated OS is the culprit, do I have to go back to older version for my apps to work? I never realized how very much I use Illustrator.
