Before january, I imported videos from my camcorder to Vegas software (under Windows).
In january, I bought an imac and Adobe elements (photoshop and Premier elements 9).
How to do to integrate towards Premiere elementsmy previous .m2t files ?

Premiere Elements should be able to work with those files as source video. Just use Get Media/From Files and Folders to import them into your project.
Of course, when you create your Premiere Elements project it's very important that your project settings match this video format precisely! (If it's AVCHD footage, make sure you know if it's 1920x1080 or 1440x1080 and if it's stereo or 5.1 audio and choose the appropriate project settings.) If you've selected the correct settings, there will not be a red line above your clips when you add them to your timeline.

I was hoping to see if anyone could help me out with this. I recently bought a new laptop, and obviously, I was stuck a few days moving everything from my old one to my new one. So when it came to install the Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 in the new computer, I noticed that the installer here at the Adobe Web Page is not accepting my serial number for that product. Premiere Elements 12 -Only buring HD but really want standard DVD

My video project is made up of HD video footage; however, I need to burn to Standard DVD for distribution to a number of volunteers who are featured.
I have chosen DVD - Disc (both wide and standard) -- each time the video comes out in HD and will not play on standard DVD players or in the non-Blu Ray burner on my computers. I see no options in Premiere Elements 12 to override burning in HD.
I've never had the problem with previous videos using same software and computer. Although those were a different selection of blank DVDs.
Is there a solution or is it possible that I purchased blank Blu Ray DVDs instead of standard. There is no labeling left on my DVD stack of 100 (also nothing on individual discs) although the center ring is surrounded by a blue ring.
Is there any other way to tell if they are Blu Ray and not standard DVDs?

There appears to be a basic misunderstanding here of the burn to options in Premiere Elements 12 in particular.
Please allow me to explain, and please excuse anything that I will write that you already know....
The regular DVD player will playback DVD-VIDEO Standard (4:3) or (16:9). Assuming a NTSC setup, that is characterized by
720 x 480 4:3 @ 29.97 interlaced frames per second and 720 x 480 16:9 @ 29.97 interlaced frames per second. When these are
the choices that you want, you use
Publish+Share
Disc
DVD
disc with Presets = NTSC_Dolby Digital (for the 4:3) and NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby DVD (16:9)
You do not use
Publish+Share
Disc
AVCHD disc (which is a HD AVCHD format on a DVD disc....this will not playback on the regular DVD player....here you can expect
resolution of 1920 x 1080)
The only possibility for you obtaining what you say relate to you selecting AVCHD instead of DVD. Is that a possibility?
There is no Blu-ray DVD disc or ACVHD DVD disc; there is Blu-ray disc format on a Blu-ray disc, AvCHD format on a DVD disc, each differing from DVD-VIDEO format on a DVD disc.
As for DVD discs, 4.7 GB/120 minutes; 8.5 GB/240 minutes.
As for Blu-ray discs, 25 GB or 50 GB.
If you have a HD 16:9 project and you want to take it to a DVD disc that will playback on the regular DVD player, then you use

disc with a preset specifically for NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby DVD which is 16:9.

Add On...When all is OK and working, please update 12 to 12.1 Update using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.

Premiere Elements 12 - The project stopped accepting new mp4 and jpeg clips onto the timeline. There are several there but when adding new ones they appear to place properly then immediately disappear. Any fix?

That is an unusual situation that you are presenting.
Have you updated from 12 to 12.1 via the project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so.
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 8.1 presumed 64 bit?
The usual drill
a. What is your project preset? What are the properties of your sources media? What is the brand/model/settings of the camera recording your mp4 and jpeg.
What are the pixel dimensions of these jpeg images and how many of them are there in the project (especially when the problems set in).
b. What is the size/duration of your Timeline content when the program no longer accepts new files?
c. Describe status of your computer resources. Also, where are the Scratch Disks directed and how much free hard drive space is at that location(s)?
Troubleshooting for Unexpected/Unexplained project problems...Deletion of the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary, the whole 12.0 Folder in which it exists.

I have a MacBook Pro Laptop and I recently purchased Premiere Elements 13 as I need it for School and Work however when i get to the final stages of downloading, my serial number isn't being accepted and I have tried many methods of downloading! IF anyone has had the same or similar issues please let me know! I paid a lot for this and I really need the program.

Let us see if we can resolve this issue...
Let us go through the typical drill....
1. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you working with a pen and tablet instead of a mouse?
3. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed and are you running the programs as administrator?
4. Is your video card/graphics card driver up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
5. Are you running the program with an active Internet connection? What computer browser are you using for the download
of replacement installation files? Have you tried another for the download - such as Internet Explorer or Firefox?
Suggestions
1. Uninstall the program the typical Control Panel way
2. Do a free ccleaner run through (regular and registry cleaning parts) to get rid of leftovers from incomplete installs/reinstalls

What I have done so far:
Accepted all windows 7 updates - essential and non esential
I've updated my graphics drivers
I've also deleted and reloaded Premiere Elements from the disc
I reloaded quick time and accepted the latest version
All have no affect.
My system is a windows 7 64 bit PC.
I also have plenty of hard drive space
Cyberlink PowerDirector 11 works fine.
PS - This seems a common complaint about Premiere Elements 12

I never designate the external hard drive as the save location. It makes a copy automatically.
Also, you mention investigating “drive speeds.” I didn’t think the external hard drive has a drive speed (?).
If it does, would that mean the external hard drive is somehow helping the desktop internal hard drive?
I’m not sure what you mean when you say: (With the plug in and out external hard drive situation), periodically check the drive letter of the external hard drive to assure
that it is not changing. That could cause some media disconnect issues for your projects if the projects source media are
stored on the external hard drive.” I think the external hard drive just makes a copy.

I installed Premiere Elements 11 on a computer one month ago with a serial number.
Yesterday I bought a new computer, and threw the old one away.
Now I want to install Premiere Elements 11 on my new computer, but the serial number is rejected.

MotionJPEG video compression is often problematic for Premiere Elements (any version).
When it does present a problem, there are several popular remedies
a. If video was recorded with camera, then determine if there is a utility that came with the camera
and install it to get the required codec.
b. Download and install a MotionJPEG codec. The Morgan MotionJPEG codec has been used
successfully by many over the years. Sources of MotionJPEG may be available online.

c. Conversion of the MotionJPEG.asp to another format. You might want to start with
HandBrake

Premiere elements 4 will not accept all the MPG file

I am trying to re-edit some old DVD files made in Premiere 4.
It seemed to me that the only method of doing this would be to convert the VOBs originally created with Premiere Elements to MGPE2 files extension .mpg and then re-import them. There may be an easier way than this which would be better.
However in my method of some files it premiere only converts 14minutes of the file to video and imports the rest (about 20) minutes as black.
This has happened on several files.
I know the video is there because I can play the .mpg on many players including MS. It would appear that Premiere gives up at some point.
Can anyone give me advice please.
