I bought a fujifilm XP camera, but my iMac (OSX 10.5.8) won't recognize it. What do I need to do to get it to work?

It does not show up in image capture when the USB is connected, either to a powered hub, or directly to the computer. My Imac does not have an SD card reader.
I have a Macbook pro that has a card reader, and I have been able to get pictures into it via the Macbook's internal SD card reader, but the Macbook Pro does not recognize the XP camera either, when plugged in. I would like to be able to get the pictures from either the camera or the SD card directly into the imac.
I suppose I could get an SD card reader that connects to the imac, but I wonder if the imac would recognize it. Is there a particular version or format of SD card reader I should look for?

Channel Guide completely wrong for Stanley Cup Hockey

Just wanted to report the dismal job that Fios did managing both of the Stanley Cup Game 7's that were on tonight. I set up my DVR to record the Washington Capitals Game which was shown as being on Channel 590. Fortunately I turned on the TV to see that 590 was actually playing some history of cold war era hockey...the game was actually on 576 which was incorrectly listed as MLS Soccer. This is NOT the first time I have seen this happen either. I quickly switched to record 576 instead, but that was only a short program which stopped recording in the middle of the game...because I overlooked the fact that I would have needed to record the next 9 shows to actually get the whole game. Really? Someone can't update the guide with 24 hours notice?
To add insult to injury I was also trying to watch the Bruins game 7 and was recording it as well. When I came back to watch it, the "poker" recording that was actually the Bruins game was completely missing, meaning I did not get to see any of the overtime. I have a witness who saw this entire fiasco unfold.
What a horrible TV experience for two big game 7's.
Oh yeah, and the Fios TV rates went up $10 this month. Certainly NOT a happy customer.

What area are you in? Because it was listed correctly in our area on the guide last night.
However, when a game is being broadcast nationally - and also on the local RSN, no matter what the sport - it will show up in the guide, even if it's being blacked out. The national broadcast is subject to local blackout nearly all the time when the local RSN is broadcasting the same game. This happens frequently with the Mets and Yankees. When they are on ESPN or MLB Network in a game that isn't an exclusive national broadcast, the game will still show up on the ESPN or MLB Network guide info for every provider - FiOS, DIrectv, Comcast, etc. Even though it's blacked out locally.

HT1926 I am running Windows XP SP3 at first running after Install - splash screen cannot be removed so that I can start to import disks. Stanley

I am running Windows XP SP3. Every time I go to the "Music" category so that I can Import CDs and then subsequently play my music, the Tutorial Splash Screen gets in the way and I cannot seem to get rid of it...Since I like iTunes 9 layout - that is the one that I dowloaded and installed. Help please the Splash Screen is "bugging me"

Key Mapping activates Versus Import Manager

Hello,
I have Key mapping activated in the console and Supress Unchaged Records activated in my syndication map.
Case : I import files (suppliers catalogs) to MDM via Import Manager manually. I am not sure about it, but since I activated Key mapping property,
I noticed that for each supplier ID in the Supplier table, a lot of remote keys were created. Previously I only had one remote key for each supplier and now I have a list of other supplier's ID. ( Existent or nonexistent supplier IDs). This becomes an issue for my import, because when I try to import a file where the supplier id does not exist in the MDM ( this scenario used to block my import and this is what a expect, as supplier is a key in my mapping), the system automatically maps that nonexistent supplier to other supplier.
Can you help me to understand if this is caused for the key mapping property ? Any Idea ?

The remote keys are form the same remote system.
My story is : When I am importing a file , suppose my file has an invalid supplier ID. ( this means this supplier is not in the lookup table Suppliers)
1)The import manager will give me a message such as : Map Supplier ID Values. This behavior was expected.
2)I decided to test the automap. The invalid supplier was not mapped to a different value. I am ok with that.
3)If the user ( dont ask me the reason ;-)) decides to map that invalid supplier ID to a different one, he/she is allowed to do so. I remember when the key mapping was not activated this option did not exist. The map and automap button was deactivated.
What I am trying to make sure is : a remote key will be created for invalid suppliers ONLY if I choose to map it with a different supplier ID.
Do you have any comments about it ?

I need help getting my RSS feed compaitble with Itunes...Im almost there.

Can someone help me with my code for itunes. Unfortunately I use rapidweaver to podcast and I have read there are a few things Rapidweaver leaves out when publishing the site so itunes does not accept the feed. My RSS feed works and can be subscribed manually though Itunes or with software. Im thinking im using spaces or it looks like I need to number my tracks for my podcast(which sounds odd but, I know itunes is finicky with spaces, symbols etc)

It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
<description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
<language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it.

Iphone voice memo issue?

So when I record anything with my iphone I give the voice memo a name by taping the blue arrow at the end of the recording, however when I sync them to my itunes the name does not sync and only the date and time...! does anyone know how can I fix this or if this is even possible?

Portal doesn't appear in Portal Management Home

For WebLogic Portal 7.0, I followed the tutorial instructions on how to create
a new portal (in a new domain). I get as far as adding a portlet. When I try
to use the portal admin tool to make the portlet visible, and navigate to the
Portal Management home page, the portal is not visible (nothing is). No errors
are reported on the console. According to the WebLogic console, the portal app
is deployed ok, and the portal and portlet appear in the data repository.
Any ideas gratefully received.

IPC Pricing routine for Product Family Margin in Quotation is not working

I am working on the IPC Pricing Routine to calculate Item's Product Family Margin in the Quotation.
Process followed:
Step 1: Created a Group condition ZPFM for Product Family Margin and assigned to the pricing procedure.
Step 2: Created a Value Routine to determine ZPFM's Condition Rate and Condition Value.
Logic:
 1. Collect (Sum Of) the Cost (ZSVC) and the Subtotal 3 of the items which are in same Material Group.
 2. Assign the ZPFM Condition Value = Sum of Subtotal 3 - Cost.
Issue: The condition value for ZPFM is calculating correct for all line items except the last item. I am getting some junk value always to the last item. If I delete the last time, again next last item is giving wrong value. The calculation value in the routine debugging log (SM53) is showing correct value. However, assigning the wrong value. No other routines have been assigned to this condition type in the pricing procedure.

Hi,
I think you should change xkwert variable instead of komv-kwert.
Standard routines does the same.
Aslo check in SPRO settings that routine is attached and
getting triggered by putting break-point.

Having some problems with links

OK, I've used this way of doing this for a while, but recently I started having trouble with getting this to work.
I have a site with a link to the organization's current newsletter. I have a "previous page" link so that you can go back to the page you came from in the main site. The newsletter opens up in it's own blank page. This link no longer works and I have no idea why.
This is the code that is supposed to make this link work: <a href="javascript:history.go(-1);">Previous Page</a>
The second part of the problem involves the left sidebar links which are named achor links for within the newsletter page. In the newsletter there are usually Program Recap articles which usually include a link to a separate page of event photos. The page has the same sidebar links to the named anchors. I used to be able to have these go back to the newsletter page to that named anchor. But now I can't seem to make them work.
What I've done in the past is to link back to the newsletter and at the end of this link to the page add the named anchor link like this:

Sometimes this works and sometimes not. The problems don't end there. Some of these links render the newsletter page with the photos some of the links go to a page that doesn't show the links. At this point I have re-done all of the links, I have rebooted both Dreamweaver and Firefox and it just keeps doing the same thing. I'm just baffled by this.
I'll post the code for both pages in the hopes that someone can tell me what is not right and how to make this work.

 <h2> <a name="prezmessage" id="prezmessage"></a>President’s Message</h2>
 <img src="../images/Susan-Flaherty-photo.jpg" alt="Susan Flaherty" width="145" height="159" class="fltlft" />Dear Fellow HFMA Members,
 Welcome to the 2011-2012 HFMA fiscal year. Thank you for your continued membership and support of HFMA. I look forward to working with the members, the board of directors, and officers during the upcoming year to continue the success of the Northeast Ohio Chapter. 
 Speaking of success – I attended the HFMA Annual National Institute in June 2011 and was proud to be from the Northeast Ohio Chapter. Our Chapter won three awards – Gold Award for Membership Growth and Retention, Hottum Award for Education Performance Improvement, and a Yerger Special <img src="../images/Manfull_ANI_DSC_0027.jpg" width="200" height="200" align="top" class="fltrt" />Recognition Award for the February 2011 Patient Financial Services Program. In addition, the Northeast Ohio Chapter had two of the three winners of the National HFMA Future Financial Leaders Award. The award recognizes those future leaders who provide innovative and exemplary performance resulting in organizational performance improvement. Congratulations to Jill Barber and Kelly Linson from Southwest Community Health System for receiving this award. Finally, as many of you know, National HFMA has performance targets relating to education, membership, certification, financial strength, and other matters for all chapters. Our Chapter achieved 100% during this last fiscal year in meeting these targets. While it is important to celebrate our past successes, I and the other chapter leaders realize that we are taking on a big responsibility to maintain this level of excellence. We will need the continued support and participation of the membership to ensure we continue to achieve this level of success.
 As part of planning for the upcoming year, the Chapter officers had the opportunity to meet the National HFMA Chair, Gregory M. Adams, FHFMA. His theme for the fiscal year is “Believe to Achieve.” Following is an excerpt of his comments and explanation of the theme. In health care today, it sometimes seems like we are being asked to do the impossible. The industry is preparing for an influx of millions of newly insured patients in a reform environment where payments are shrinking and expectations around quality are growing. "Believe to Achieve" encompasses the keys to success in this new environment. It reflects the need to believe in your organization's mission and in others who share your dedication to achieving that mission. It means believing in yourself and in your ability to step out of your comfort zone into the new roles and responsibilities required to succeed in the reform era. Last but not least, it means believing in the possibility of a better future. In health care, there have always been naysayers who believe that the problems of the day are just too difficult to overcome. Their voices have been particularly loud, of late. But you can choose to believe that a better future is within reach, and to dedicate your professional life to making that happen. You can only achieve what you believe. 
 Finally, I want to thank all of you who volunteered your time to Chapter activities over the past year. The fact that you chose to devote part of your time to HFMA indicates the value you perceive in your membership. The strength of any chapter lies in its volunteers. I hope you are able to attend the annual volunteer appreciation outing on August 31, 2011 to celebrate the successes of our Chapter, hear presentations on relevant industry topics, and enjoy a networking round of golf or visit to the spa. We are always looking for members to get involved and continue the long tradition of volunteer service that has been a hallmark of our Chapter for many years. Please don't hesitate to contact me, one of the other Chapter officers or directors, or a committee chair if you are interested in volunteering.

 <h2><a name="certification" id="certification"></a>CHFP Assistance Program</h2>
The North East Ohio Chapter (NEOC) of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) continues to encourage members to pursue and achieve certification as a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP). 
Many members who successfully pass the exam are eligible for reimbursement from their employers for some portion of the examination fee and/or on-line study material fee. To encourage and assist those members for whom employer reimbursement is not available, the Chapter offers a limited financial award program through the Chair of the Certification Committee. 
 
Current CHFP Award Program 
Effective June 1, 2011, the NEO HFMA Chapter Board has approved annual funding for a maximum of 5 awards of $200.00 each for successful completion of the CHFP exam. NEO HFMA members who have successfully completed the CHFP exam on or after June 1, 2011 and who will NOT be reimbursed by their employer for any portion of either the examination fee and/or the online study material fee are eligible to apply. Chapter awards will be issued to the first 5 approved applications.
Reimbursement Application Procedure 
Upon successful completion of the CHFP exam, a member who will NOT be reimbursed by their employer for any portion of either the examination fee or the on-line study materials may complete and submit an NEO HFMA expense form in application for a financial award. A copy of the exam result e-mail notification and a release authorizing HFMA National to confirm that the member has passed the exam is required. Application for the award must be made within 8 weeks of receiving exam results. The funds allocated to members will be reviewed annually and is subject to change at the discretion of the Chapter board.

<h2><a name="recaps" id="recaps"></a>Program Recaps</h2>
 <h3>2011 GHALI</h3>

 The 2011 GHALI was held at the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio. This historic and tradition filled site, initally started as a seminary high school for boys preparing for the priesthood. In addition, this classic gothic building was built during the years 1930-1931 with the first class starting in late October of 1931. The building contains approximately 167,000 square feet. The Wolstein family purchased the 381 acres of land and building in 1989 that many considered to be one of the most desirable tracts in Stark County. After two years of renovation, the spa portion of the club opened in December of 1991. On July 1, 1992 Jack Nicklaus took part in the gala celebration which opened the golf course. The Grand Opening of the Clubhouse in September of 1992 followed. 
 
 Our theme for this year’s event was “Entering the Era of Accountability”. As a result, the conference included educational sessions led by healthcare industry leaders and a variety of pertinent topics. Highlights included a panel discussion, “How Organizations Develop Vendor Relationships” for which there was standing room only attendance as well as sessions led by prominent professors, politicians and other professionals. Attendees were given opportunities to research products and services present at the vendor booths during vendor fair times and throughout the 2 ½ days. In keeping with tradition, the networking opportunities were abundant, starting out with Wednesday’s always very popular casino night. Thursday’s networking events included your choice of an 18 hole golf scramble, a visit to “The Spa at Glenmoor” or a enjoyable wine tasting event followed by an evening banquet which enable our attendee to sample more of Glenmoor’s fine cuisine. We concluded that evenings events with music, Texas Hold-em and “minute to win-it” activities, as well as entertaining karaoke by our members.

<h3>Healthcare Hot Topics – Part 1</h3>

The Healthcare Hot Topics seminar was held at the beautiful new state-of- the-art Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio on June 23, 2011. The Rosenberg Conference Suite was filled with more than 50 attendees, there to hear about hot topics in healthcare today. 
 
Ahuja President James Benedict welcomed the attendees and talked to the current & future state of the Ahuja Medical Center. He was followed by Gigi Umbel who went over the layout of the hospital and spoke to the challenges as a Finance Director of a new hospital.
 The three healthcare topics covered at this program were:

 Kudos to Southwest General employees, Jill Barber, Director of Managed Care Contracting and Revenue Integrity, and Kelly Linson, Vice President, as they were recognized as “Future Financial Leaders” at the 2011 ANI in Orlando. Congrats to Kelly on passing the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional exam in Orlando as well.
 Congratulations to Laurie Rauser, formerly a Sr. Manager with Kaiser Permanente's National Revenue Cycle team, on taking a new role as a Practice Lead with Kaiser's National Compliance, Ethics and Integrity Office. In Laurie’s new role her focus will be to support compliance operations throughout the Kaiser Permanente Revenue Cycle continuum. Laurie will continue to reside in the Ohio region.
 Congratulations to John P Beirne of JP Recovery Services, Inc. The 20+ year member of the NEOHFMA may qualify for the Guiness Book of World Records as four of his eight children will be getting married from June through December this year. Three of the four are daughters! John's remark about this wedding blitz schedule: "I may qualify for Charity Care when this is all over!"

Because I know enough to be dangerous... I was trying to extend the two outside columns down.... Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links. When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page. I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article. From the Event Photos page the links look like this:

The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it can't find the page). To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing. It makes no sense. When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what. I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
Got any ideas?

Applescript: open Pages doc from Templete, change filename and replace text

Hi!
I just got started with applescript and i want a script that does the following:
1. open "choose from list" dialog to choose the topic of my document
from 4 possibilities (here for example A, B, C, D)
2. open document from TemplateXY
3. set document name with date and topic (dd.mm.yyy) "16.02.2011 - A"
4.inside of document: replace text "date" with the currend date (dd.mm.yyy)
and the text "topic" with the topic chosen in (1.) "A"
this is what i already did:

the "choose from list" dialog works and the variables like topic, datum and the search&replace strings get defined as well
my problems are:
i only get an error that the text could not be replaced
i dont know how to get a new document from a template and how to get its filename changed
i really just started doin things with applescript for a day so i hope you can help me

Try something like this:
set myFoundItems to change text text of all page items of pages 3 thru 5 of document 1
