Star Wars The Force Unleashed Preferences.

The game is running fine, however i deselected the option to launch the preferences window when the game is launched, and as I am new to Mac i cant figure out how to get back into it to change the controller option. Little help please.

I just figured it out man! I spent a whole day figuring this out. On the main menu press Command Key+< key. I was so happy when I figured it out. Have fun playing man!

  • Star Wars the Force Unleashed "Slow Motion (commonly known as a form of lag)"

I have been attempting to run the game "Star Wars the Force Unleashed," on a 13-inch MacBook Pro Late 2011 with Intel Graphics HD 3000, 500 gb hard drive, 2.4 GHz processor speed, and 4 gig ram, and the game seems to be going in "slow motion (commonly known as a form of lag)."  I have done my resurch and my sources have told me that I might have to turn off v-sync.  I have not found a way to do this and I was wondering what might be a way of doing this, or is there anothers solution?  Your contribution would be much appreciated.

  • Problems with loading Star Wars The Force Unleashed

Can I get a refund from Apple Apps? a few days ago I loaded "Star Wars The Force Unleashed from Apple Apps." When the game loads the opening page has three lines across the bottom, such as: NEW GAME   CONTINUE GAME   LOAD GAME.  Beneath that list is another line with the words “use keyboard to navigate menus." There is a list of keys to use but none of them work on the game. However, keys F19, F18 and F17 do change the order and the highlights on the bottom line but still provide no further help. I discovered this only by experimenting with various keys. Aspyr support says the opening screen is followed by a tutorial. There is no tutorial. After the first screen has been showing for a short time the game continues into a series of action scenes and then returns to the original opening page. There is no way to close or eject the game. It only endlessly repeats the same opening display. I cannot remove or eject the game except to shut down and reload. None of the instructions offered by Aspyr have assisted me in any way. I could, of course, remove the game entirely but would I get a refund then?

  • Anyone played Star Wars: The Old Republic on Macbook pro 13 inch?

Just wondered if anyone had played Star Wars The Old Republic on the 13 inch MBP. Im considering buying the new 13 inch, 2.9ghz i7, but not sure about Intel HD 4000, has anyone had much success with the Intel HD 3000 on previous model. Im guessing bootcamp is the best way to play it.
    Thanks

  • Running windows 7 to play Star Wars the old republic

I recently bought Star Wars The Old Republic MMO and wanted to play it on my Mac Book Pro [I do not have the current gen. MBP being sold I have the model previous]
I went out to my local apple store and bought parallels deskdop 7 after reading the reviews on it. [~$80]
I then went out and purchased windows 7 [~$200]
    Installed both.....
and im told that my mac does not have enough processing power to play the game?  I used to play world of warcraft on it with no problem.  Should I buy a different program that runs windows 7 solo so Im not splitting up my processing power? Or will I just not have the ability to play this game on this mac?
Have anyone else come across any similar issues or tried to do the same?
When I attempt to play the game the game window will not stretch to fill the entire screen, it drops down to a smaller window which isnt large enough to effectively play the new game.
    Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?
    Thanks!

Ask your question in the Boot Camp forum.  Alternatively, you should contact Parallels.  This forum is to discuss the MacBook Pro hardware, not how to set up a game.

  • I want to play Star wars the old republic,

I want to play Star wars the old repubic, Im about to get a new macbook pro with retina display if I upgrade as much as I can afford, about $3000 will I be able to play the game straight out of the box with boot camp and windows 7 or 8, and will the game run with pretty good performance without further upgrade, this is what I would be putting onto the macbook.
2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
    16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
    512GB Flash Storage
    Apple USB SuperDrive
Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide (English)
Im good with macs, but not really good at figuring which would be the best at playing the game!
    thanks!

Checking out compatibility with Lion seems fine, but I don't know about Mountain Lion - you may want to contact the developer. I never got into games on a Mac, but your configuration should work without any problems.

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic

Just to say, I think we in the apple community should push apple and the makers of star wars the old republic to make there games able to run on Mac OS. I know for a fact that any macbook and macbook pro from 2010 and up can easily run the game nativly and probably much better since it's a mac!

  • HT203167 What happened to the force unleashed on iPad?

What happened to the Star Wars Force Unleashed game?  I had bought it sometime back, but now it is no longer on my iPad and I can't find it in the iTunes store.  what is going on?

This happens. It is one of the many reasons you should always maintain backup copies.
The maker of the app apparently does not offer it any longer.

  • I want to get Star Wars the old republic on my mac.

If I use bootcamp, do I also need to get windows? Or can I just install SWTOR and run it through boot camp? (I am admittedly a novice)

You will need a copy of Windows.

  • Star wars game wont download

I can't buy the game star wars the force unleashed ultimate sith edition because my macbook says there isn't enough space on my macbook. The game is 11.18 GB and my macbook have 13 GB space free!
    Help!!!

You need at least 9 GB of available space for normal operation, so the download would put you under that. You'll have to delete some files or move them to another volume.

Who is your favourite Star Wars character?
What's your favourite episode of the saga?

What is the preferred viewing order of the entire saga?
I know for sure this is Kermit's favourite quote from the films anyway

I'm looking forward to reading all your #StarWarsMemories
For those that may not know, personally I am a big Star Wars fan myself. Of course I enjoy the movies but I also extended my experience in the universe by enjoying the Star Wars pinball tables on Zen Studios game as well taking charge of the Imperial forces against my better half who represents the Rebels in the game Star Wars Imperial Assault.
The miniatures looked a bit boring by themselves so we painted them to make them look more sexy.
Anywho that's some insight into my love of Star Wars now it's time for you to share yours!
    And remember...
May the force be with you!
Star Wars: The Digital Movie Collection is available to buy from https://store.playstation.com for £69.99/AU$124.99, or pick up the individual films from £9.99/AU$19.99.

    Han Solo, hands down.
A New Hope. I still remember the day my dad took me to the cinema to watch that film, standing outside in a queue for 3 hours to get in. I've honestly lost track of how many times I've watched it but having a guess I'd say 120-130 times. I once watched it with my cousin 6 times in one day
Hmmm, I think it has to be from The Empire Strikes back when Luke leaves his training earlier to save Han Solo and Leia. Yoda isn't happy about this and is talking to the ghost of Obi-Wan who says "That boy is our last hope" to which my favourite quote is uttered from Yoda: "No, there is another". ARRRRRRAGHHHHH. As an 11 year old that was too much to bear! Who was the other Yoda referred to? Think I must have dreamt a number of times that it was me Having to wait 3 years to get my answer was no fun!
I'm actually not too fussed by the viewing order. Come December I'll be watching all 6 to get me in the mood!
As a teenager I convinced my mum and dad to let me paint 2 of my bedroom walls black. We had a friend of the family who was a good artist and he came in and painted the names of the first three films on one wall and an epic space battle on the other. It had it all. Shame I don't have any pictures of it handy otherwise I'd post them. But needless to say my room was mega cool

  • May the 4th Be With You- Happy Star Wars Day!

Today is that special day where geeks can let their nerdy flag fly free… Today is international Star Wars Day! For those who might not know, Star Wars Day is a fan-created holiday to celebrate the impact that the Star Wars franchise has had on the world. Based on a pun spun off from the classic line “May the force be with you”, this relatively new holiday is already a major deal in geek culture.

  • Time Machine does not display old files: the star wars screen stays stuck

I have been looking for an known report, but can't find it.
In Time Machine, I don't see the 'star wars' panels anymore. It was working when I installed it.
In an activated Timemachine screen, the date slider on the right of the screen does not react. Only the front most screen is seen = "now".
I used to have time machine on an airportextreme; but because of adding a shared USB printer I had to move the external HDD to my own iMac.
Time machine tells the backups are successful.
Did I do something wrong by moving the HDD around?
Did I do something wrong with 'permissions'? [I added myself as a user with read permissions.]
    Should I reinstall Timemachine?
    thanks in advance

Sort of. Time Machine stores backup differently when they're done locally vs. over a network.
Double-click your external HD. It should have a "sparse bundle" including the name of your computer. Those are your network backups.
Double-click the sparse bundle to mount it, then try Time Machine again. If that doesn't work, quit Time Machine and control-click the TM icon in your menubar, or right-click the TM icon in your Dock, and select the +Browse ...+ option. That should show your backups in a small window; select them and click the +Use Selected Disk+ button.
Post back with your results and we'll explain further and see how you want to proceed.

  • How do I exit from the "Star Wars" display?

    Hi all,
I did my first Time Machine backup last night, and I think it went OK.
Somehow, though, I hit the Time Machine icon during the backup, and I got into the "Star Wars" display. It wasn't showing me the progress of the backup, and it didn't show me when it was done. There was no way to get off this screen that I could find.
How do you get out of the "Star Wars" display? (I didn't want to hit "ESC" because I wasn't sure if that would end the backup.) I'll be doing manual backups (this is for a MacBook Pro that won't be plugged into the external hard-drive all the time); I won't always have to sit with this "Star Wars" screen, will I?
    Thank you!

The star wars screen and the process of backing up are two different things. The star wars screen is where you go to recover files, email, photos etc that have already been backed up. You don't have to be in this screen in order to back up because that happens automatically in the background. To exit, there is a cancel button in the lower left.
    Regards,
    Captfred
