Starkey Halo - Disconnecting from Conference Calls?

I use my Starkey Halo i110's as my telephone headset. (It's the only way I can understand others on the phone.)
I work from home. I use our company's conference calling provider extensively; sometimes 5-6 times a day or more. Occasionally, I will get dropped from a conference call. The conference calling host sees a normal call disconnect from Verizon Wireless (my wireless provider). Their carrier (AT&T) also sees a normal call disconnect from Verizon. Verizon sees a disconnect, but upstream from them. Verizon also claims that I am at the edge of service which I would dispute. There aren't many places in Central Florida where you can avoid seeing a cell tower. I am just SE of Tampa, about 20 miles as the crow flies from the airport.
I have tested with both an iPhone 5C and 5S, both with Verizon Wireless. I have had conference calls get dropped on both phones. In 3+ years, I have had no other dropped cell calls. Only the conference calls get dropped. I have had the dropped calls with the last version (or 2?) of iOS 7 and with iOS 8.0 and iOS 8.0.2.
The problem started about when I started wearing the Halos. That's been nearly four months now and it just occurred to me today that the Halos could be a significant part of the problem (I never claimed to be smart or quick....).
Do any other iPhone & Starkey users experience any dropped calls?

I received a reply fro Starkey tech support that told me the Halos couldn't issue an "end call" command. Consequently, the problem is not with the Halos.
I am relieved.

    Hope this is the correct place to post my issue, I'm running CCME on a 2801 with IOS c2801-ipvoicek9-mz.124-11.T.bin, I can make calls ok and also receive them ok, my problems start when I do not answer the call; I have tested this using my mobile; when I call my land line it rings as normal but if I end the call from the mobile the phone keeps ringing for another two minutes, does anybody know what is causing the FXO to hold the call for another two minutes

    I have the issue with AA from CUE, the FXO port stay off hook for a while, so if you can show me your config to see the AA it would be great.

  • I have to push the "end call" or "answer" button multiple times in order to answer or disconnect from a call

    Whenever I receive a call, I push "answer" and it just stays there.  It stops ringing, but doesn't complete the answering process.  I push again, and it may or may not connect.  Usually a third time and it will connect.  Same when I hang up.  I usually just have to wait for the other person to disconnect.

    That's the Voice Over Feature.
    Tap the Settings icon once to select it and then Double Tap on the Settings icon to activate it.
    Use 3 fingers to scroll down to General, tap it once again to select it, and then twice to activate it.
    Again use 3 fingers to scroll down to Accessibility,  again tap once to select, then twice to activate.
    Tap on Voice Over once to select it,  and twice to actvate it and then tap once on Voice Over, and then tap twice to turn it off.

    My iphone 4s will not answer call waiting.  When I go into settings there does not appear to be the option to enable call waiting, yet I have had it for a year and had no problem with it!  Caller id does not show up during an existing call and the call waiting cannot be ansered.  Can anyone help???

    Received a FaceTime call this morning. Caller was using an iPhone 5S running iOS7. I have a 5S running iOS8.0.2
    Once complete neither of us could disconnect from the call. The usual "red button" was not operating. I finally powered off my phone and that forced the disconnect. Both phones now seem OK, but we have not used FaceTime since.
    Additional: I was on a home WiFi at the time. Caller was on the Verizon Cell system (no WiFi at that end.)
    Anyone else have this problem?

    Need Help Here! How do I hang up on a conference 3-way call without completly diconnct the call?

    Tap on the 'i' next to the word Conference at the top of the screen, and choose which call to end.
    If this option doesn't appear, your carrier may not support disconnecting from individual calls in a conference call, and you may have to ask the relevant party  to disconnect.

    When i am on a conference call and i want to disconnect one of the callers, my only option is to disconnect the conference call all together!!! I called verizon wireless and they said "verizon removed that feature"!!! This is really frustrating and annoying!!!! when are they going to reactivate that feature again???? If nokias or sony ericsons from the 1990's were able to split up a conference call why can't a futuristic iPhone do that??? Also if i am on conference call and want to speak on one of the parties privately, i am unable to do that either!!!

    Sistema->Ajustes->Personalización->Gestionar notificaciones-> Aquí hay un apartado de "inhabilitadas" comprobar que InCallUI esté activada (tick verde)
    Ahora ya puedo utilizar el teléfono con normalidad.

    This solution worked for me PERFECTLY.
    If for some reason you can not pick up the calls:
    System-> Settings-> Customization-> Manage notificaciones-> Here is a section of "disabled" check InCallUI is on (green tick)
    Now I can use the phone normally.

    I am trying to call a conference call with a pin#. The call connects and asks me for the pin#. I click on the dialpad icon and the diapad appears. I put the pin# in on the dial pad but the call just keeps asking me to enter the pin# even though I have already entered it. It simply is not recognizing the pin# I entered on the dial pad. Any suggestions on how to fix thiis?

    It started a few versions back.
    I have been using Skype for years, I have a premium account.
    It started while I was still using OS X Mountain Lion 
    It is still happening on OS X Mavericks
    I am on the latest version of Skype for Mac v6.9 - (701)
    I dial the number for a conference call.
    I then bring up the dial-pad once the conference call instructions start.
    It is truly intermittent from here.  It will either not work, partially work, or not work at all.
    I have tried using my number pad on my computer (which I used exclusively until I had issues)
    I have tried holding down the keys longer
    I have tried muting skype
    I have tried using the mouse to select each number
    Sometimes disconnecting from the call and calling back will work (not likely)
    Sometimes exiting Skype entirely and reconnecting will work. (not always, but seems to help some. 
    I keep updating to the latest version to solve this rediculous issue but, of course, it doesn't.

        I'd love to clarify this information bdgooden. Unfortunately, your only option is to disconnect all lines. The other parties on the phone call can disconnect the line to end the call, but you only have the option of disconnecting all calls or waiting for the other party to end.

    I had a issues as below:-
    Now have 5 party in conference call, 2 from internal and 3 call to PSTN's user. Suddenly one of the PSTN user call are drop then the remaining user in conference call are hearding the disconnect tone for few minutes. May I know how to shorted the disconnect tone or totally no disconnect tone after the PSTN user disconnect? Please let me know how to solved this.
    I using CUCM 6.1 and conference station 7936.

    Hey! Most likely it is an engineering issue, should be fixed soon with the newest update.

  • Conference Call Disconnects At Same Point Every Time

    Each time I make a conference call on my iPhone, it disconnects after no more than 15 minutes. It just hangs up. I'm not sure what happens. I don't have any other problems with it. Is anyone else having this problem when making a conference call?

    My husband has been experiencing the same problem. I wonder if there is a standard time-out because it always seems to be after 15 minutes.

    No, it does not.  It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer.  The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.
