What "addon" directory? In the folder "StarOffice 8 Installation Files" there is no such folder. These files seems to be part of the StarOffice 8 CD, not the single-file download.
Can I download these dictionaries for StarOffice <b>8</b> somewhere? The community developed dictionaries for OpenOffice are not good enough.

user, this thread is very interesting to me. I too
have been trying to get a danish dictionary installed
for this product, and find its omission irritating.While the shift from CorrectSpell to Proximity Franklin has been good for some like me (full Canadian English support), it has been bad for others Danish and Greek being two examples.
I'm unable to find out how to download a danish
proximity dictionary from Adobe's website and,
although my acrobat installation has 3 files :No the files are now included with the Reader 8 download for specific languages. AR7 had a language update, which might still be on the FTP site.
dan32.clx, dan45.lex and danphon.envThose are the files I have.
placing these in the share\dict path for So8 does not
of itself allow danish to be selected as a dictionary
language in So8. I note that the other files in that
directory have extensions hsp, fca, ths and hyp. Only
the .env extension from the adobe files seems to be
common.Did you shut off the quick starter to reinitialize SO and select the files in the Writing Aids section in Options>Language?
Can anyone please help with either a pointer to where

alternatively what I have to do with the above (or
other) adobe files to correctly "plug them in" to So8?Your other option is to use the HunSpell Danish dictionary which was created for OpenOffice.

Danish dictionary

I've just bought an iMac and I've noticed that in Pages '08 and in Mail there is an option to change dictionary, but I can not find my native one which is Danish.
The list is there, but no choice of danish dictionary.
Is it possible to have a 'system' dictionary in danish?
How do I install it - taken it is possible?

Get Additional Data with BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2

I´m using BAPIs with VBA (MS Office). I´m able to get Detail Data for a document with the Function Module BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2. But trying to get Additional Data for a document with this BAPI doesn´t work because the required (?) table CHARACTERISTICVALUES is not active.
Is there any chance to get the Additional Data for a document with using VBA? Thanks for help!

Inorder to find answers to your questions I reccommend that you do the following.
1. Go to transaction SE 37 ( If you do not have authorization obtain one, normally an ABAP auth).
2. Type the name of the FM as BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE
3. Press F8
4. Goto --> Documentation
5. SAP has given a sample program, there.
6. You can copy the code, create a test ABAP program and test with different values for the class and characterestics and try to post the document.
7. Also in the documentation, you will find an explanation from SAP on the use of the BAPI.

How to Get Additional Info from LDAP

I have an application that is using LDAP authentication. Its working great but I would like to know if its possible to extract additional information about the user at the the point of authentication. For example when the user logs in and is authenticated it would be nice to be able to get their email address, phone, etc. at that time. Is this possible with the existing authentication scheme? I didn't see anything mentioned in the Help text.

Whilst that thread is more related to using the is_member function, the code I posted shows how you can query the attributes for a particular DN in an LDAP server.
So....I don't want to put the cart before the horse, but if it helps your case to make Apex (as it's known now rather than HTMLDB) "the winner", then I would stress that this feature is definitely achievable (but how difficult it is will depend on your exact requirements).
In short....definitely do-able....

How do I get additional lists in Reminder from my iOS devices to Mountain Lion?

I have on my iPhone and iPad several additional lists in Reminders beyond "Tasks." These were lists not orginally in iCloud. When I update these lists on one of the iOS devices, the other one picks it up - (whether I have iCloud on or not). On my MacBook Mountain Lion Reminders, the only list I get is just the "Tasks" list - the other ones do not show up.
How do I get ML Reminder to see these other lists? (I have iCloud turned on for all three devices)

For troubleshooting, please take steps as below:
Take a quick look in Central Administration.If the Content Database has been taken "offline" then it will halt any database editing (typically used for maintenance such as backing up / restoring or major
farm config).
Check SQL .This can also happen if the Transaction Logs are full .. or you've run out of disk space.
Check if you have set a Site Collection Quota ... if the site collection exceeds the "quota" size then adding new content will be restricted.Go to Central Administration -> Application Management ->
Configure Quotas and Locks. Set the Site Lock Information to "Not Lock" (it had been set to " Read-only (blocks additions, updates, and deletions)”).

How do I get additional iMovie Themes?

Is there any way to get or make additional themes for iMovie 6? I particularly like the Brushscript them in iDVD, but this is not one of the themes that comes with iMovie.
Is there a way to modify the iDVD theme for iMovie, or to make a similar one for iMovie?

not sure if this link was working a couple weeks ago when this thread was created, but I found this looking for the answer to the same question.
These were the only themes I found that will work with the Intel Macs.

The best solution for additional GarageBand loops would be to get the JamPacks, i.e. JamPack "Remix Tools" and "Rhythm Section". These will give you plenty of drum beats and grooves.
The Jam Packs have been discontinued, but you get them all, when you buy Mainstage 2 at the AppStore for a moderate fee. Mainstage 2 will install all Jam Packs and additional instruments in the same place where GarageBand and Logic loops and instruments are installed, so you can use them seemlessly from GarageBand as well. And the price for MainStage 2 with all JamPacks included is as far less than the price for a single JamPack used to be.

How do I get additional parameters into a Linux Script / PowerShell Discovery?

I'm trying to do a Linux Shell / PowerShell discovery as described in

complex logic I need the GUID of the target object and the GUID of the discovery itself ($MPElement$ and $Target/Id$) as additional arguments to either of the scripts.
I tried to insert them into the "ScriptArguments" tag - but they don't show up in either of the scripts.
I tried to edit the code in VSAE, but it complains: "Could not find schema information for the element 'Scheduler'."
I added the (SCSM) "Management Pack Schema Version 1.1 XSD" as described in the blog
VSAE - Could not find schema information, but this also does not help.
Any ideas?

Additional dictionaries in Mac OS X - Is it possible?

As a multilingual person, I often find myself reading articles in German and French. But, since none of these is my native language, every once in a while I come across a word that I do not understand. Of course, an on-line dictionary is always available, but I would like to make use of Apple's dictionary application - especially since it's so easy to press commandcontrold and hover with the mouse over the unknown word.
Is there a way to add foreign dictionaries to Dictionary.app? I am especially interested in a German-to-German dictionary and a French-to-French (I mean, a dictionary that gives the definition of the word in the same language, not the kind that translate the word from one language into English).

Certainly. There aren't too many of them because people who have a good dictionary don't want to provide it in Apple Dictionary form where it could be easily copied. Apple has licensed the ones they include with the OS, but only for English and Japanese.

It uses the 1935 Dictionnaire de l'Académie Française. It's not the most up-to-date, but it's all I have.
I don't have a German dictionary. There is a copy of the Wahrig digital dictionary floating around the internet but it is in stardict format and the copyright is questionable. It appears that the copyright holders themselves made it, but that doesn't give me the right to convert it and provide it on my web site. If you know of a German dictionary database that is not under copyright, I would love to have it. My German isn't good enough to do the research to look for it myself.
