Start Button from Control Center Manager OWB 10.2.0.3.33

Hi Folks,
the start Button from the Control Center Manager is grey and I cannot run drop, replace, etc. jobs. I've tried with the owb owner with the same result. The Service is running. I also restart the data base but again the same result. Any ideas...?
Thanks
Pavel

Have you deployed these objects yet?

  • Connection lost after starting control center manager owb 11.2

    Hello!
We have a test installation of OWB 11.2 (Repository Version 11.2.0.3 / Client Version 11.2.0.2 WINDOWS 32bit) because we want migrate our 11.1 environment to this version.
We have successfully imported the old repository with mdl upgrade. We can edit mappings and so on in the Design Center. Also the deployment is possible from there.
If we start the control center manager with the default_configuration we lose the connection to repository. Also the design center is no longer connected.
The follow the recommendation for the connection with 11.2.0.2 Client to a 11.2.0.3 Repository.
Does anybody know what to do?

  • (OWB 10g R2) Control Center Manager won't start

    Hi,
I'm in the middle of upgrading from OWB10g Release 1 to OWB10g Release 2 on a testbox.
I have completed the steps to upgrade the runtime metadata (I did the Move, then I upgraded the locations and then I ran the tcl script in OMBPlus).
Now, I have gone to the DEFAULT_CONFIGURATION for my project and I updated the default control center for my project.
    Follow me so far?
Okay, here's the problem.... when I try to start the "Control Center Manager" from the Design Center's Tool menu.... I see nothing but a grey window with a titlebar and nothing else.
This happens regardless of whether I try to launch the Control Center Manager from a windows client or the linux server.
On the linux server I see this output after I enter the username and password to connect to the Control Center Manager:

    Hi, thanks for responding...
When I run show_service.sql it says the Control Center Service is Available. (See below).

And when I do a ps command on linux I see the process running.

Do you suggest I run the service_doctor.sql even though the service looks like it is available?
    Thanks.

  • Opening Control Center Manager Shuts Down OWB Application

We are currently using OWB Release 10g Release 2 and have not had any issues for the past 1.5 years. All of the sudden beginning last week, we started experiencing issues with the software.
    1. Last week, I logged into Design Center. No problems. I then went to Tools - Control Center Manager. As the Control Center window attempted to open, it shut down the entire OWB application. Interesting. I logged in as a different user and was able to get in later.
    2. As of today, I don't have any issues with OWB. I'm able to get to Control Center without any problems.
    3. My co-worker is experiencing the same problem that I had last week. As soon as he tries to open Control Center Manager, all of OWB shuts down including Design Center. He restarted his PC, tried to log in as a different user, etc. but nothing seems to help.
We looked under the C:\OraHome_1\owb\log directory but nothing is there. Does anyone have any clues as to what is going on or where we can check to see what is causing this problem?

    Hi Jennifer
Worth starting the OWB client using the batch or shell script depending on your platform (either owb/bin/win32 or owb/bin/unix/owbclient.sh) and pasting the standard output from the console window into the forum when you do this, it might have some clues.

  • Control Center Manager - blank grey window .... forever

I'm running OWB10gR2. Many times a day I will choose Tools->Control Center Manager from the OWB Design window. The Control Center Manager window comes up but is just blank. In most cases I must bring up the Windows Task Manager to kill the process. Occasionally even the Task Manager won't kill the process and I must reboot.
Has anyone seen this situation? Please send me your thoughts/ideas?
Could this be Java version related?
    Thanks,
    Bob Larsen

    Bob,
You could try removing the file owb/bin/admin/DeployMgrLayout.xml - this stores the layout of the Control Center Manager, and if it's become corrupted, may result in an empty window as you've described.
Failing that, try running the owb client from command line using owb/bin/win32/owbclient.sh, and check the displayed log for any errors when the Control Center Manager is invoked.
    Nigel.

  • OWB10g - Control Center Manager takes 10 minutes to appear

    OWB Client 10.2.0.2.8 / OWB Repository 10.2.0.2.0
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0
Attempting to access the Control Center Manager from the Design Center takes 10 minutes to respond.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
    Thanks very much!
    Stephen

    Thanks for the help offered.
I Optimized the repository via the GUI and then purged all audit data per 306431.1 ( It's a development system - we promote to Test and Production via TCL so this is the only environment where the Control Center Manager performance has a bearing - for deployment).
Happy to say all's well - getting respectable response from the Control Center Manager now thanks.
(Not really sure whether the Optimize was a contributing factor or not).
Thanks again and Happy New Year!

  • Cant click/choose Control Center Manager in Design Center

    Hi all,
When doing an upgrade from 10.2.0.3 > 11.2.0.1 of my OWB repository I cant enter my Control Center Manager. The name appears in the menu, but I cant click on it, its blured out.
    Any ideas?

As far as I know, it happens when all projects are closed. One project must be opened to access control center.
It's the only situation I saw it happens.

  • Enabling OC Genie II from Control Center downgrades the CPU?!?! Z77A-GD65

Now I'm getting all the time more and more confused about this Z77A-GD65 with Intel i7 3770K over-clocking. I really hope that someone could help.
OK, there's a button on the motherboard that by enabling it the system automatically overclocks itself during the next boot. OK, fine. But what is that OC Genie II button in Control Center supposed to be? After enabling the OC button on mainboard and rebooting the CPU multiplier goes up from the default 35 to 42 and that's fine. But when enabling the OC Genie II overclocker from within Windows (from MSI Control Center) and rebooting, then the clock multiplier downgrades back to 35 ?!?!?! Why is that?
How is the Control Center supposed to be used for overclocking? Does it have a bug or something? At least it doesn't seem to work for me? Should the BIOS be reset to default values first or something? Should the OC Genie button on the motherboard be enabled at all?
However I would be happy to be able to automatically tune-up my system directly from Windows 7 (X64, SP1) but I don't know how to do it.
And why there's a button on the motherboard if the over-clocker is supposed to be working from within Control Center? Which one should I use and how? Moreover, should I have the main setting set (via reboot --> BIOS) set to STANDARD or OC GENIE II? I have so much trouble understanding all this..
PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Thank you friends.

Quote from: xmad on 26-September-12, 09:17:04
Go into bios and in the OC section, change "OC Genie Function Control" from By onboard button to "by bios option" see if that works better.
Also, most people don't use control center for more than monitering. I do all of my overclocking from UEFI/Bios and check on things in click bios II.
OK, thank you! That's exactly what I needed to know! So the Control Center's (within Windows) "Use OC Genie" shouldn't be used either? I suspect that this being enabled has got something to do with my poor ATI RADEON HD5770 performance. I'm currently experimenting it, don't know yet. But I will try disabling OC Genie from Control Center.
But should I disable the oc Genie button also on the motherboard itself? How would that affect things? Easier/harder to overclock the MB with OC Genie enabled? These current MB's are so damn complicated But I'd appreciate any help!

  • Resuming podcasts or music from Control Center is buggy

I listen to podcasts using Podcasts.app a lot in the car, and most of the time it resumes normally, especially if it hasn't been too long since I paused it. But intermittently it will kind of freak out and either not resume anything, or resume playing a random music track. From what I can tell, it is more likely to happen if the track data is empty when I pull up the Control Center. If the track info is blank when I pull it up, it is pretty much a toss-up about what it will play back. If it plays the wrong thing back, I have to go back into the Podcasts app and restart the track.
This actually happened to me with the Podcasts.app in iOS 6 on my 4S as well, and as a result I deleted it and never used it. With my 5S and iOS 7 that is no longer an option.
Anyone have any experience with this issue?
