Start Captivate movies after click

Hello Forum,
i have a question about captivate movies.
i have exported the movies as swf-files and when i load them
into my application, the movies start automaticly.
Is there an option somewhere, where the movies start
after clicking them?
i do not want to create a separate flash-movie which handles
that.
i am thankful for every help!

Hi Patrick and welcome to our community
One way to accomplish this is to simply insert a Click Box
object on the first slide. Click Boxes and Buttons pause the
project by their very nature.
Another way would be to obtain a widget from fellow Adobe
Community Expert Paul Dewhurst's stie.

How is this normally set up --
A SWF published from Captivate is posted on a web site. The
SWF has a button that opens a URL. How does the user normally
return to the Captivate project after viewing that URL?

Hi Jay
Normally one would configure the object opening the URL
(Button or Click Box typically) so that the URL opens in a new
window. That way the user interacts with the URL and closes the
window to return to the Captivate. Many of the later browsers will
open a new tab instead of a new window. So they would close the
tab.
Also there is a setting for the Button or Click Box that you
have to configure to allow the Captivate to remain paused. It's
found in the same place you configure the new window. A button with
a superimposed down arrow to the right of where you type the URL or
file name.

Why am i getting a shadow type display when i attempt to start up firefox after clicking on icon?

I recently deleted an older version of Firefox that my dad had been using on his user account and i noticed as he had explained to me that when i clicked on Firefox to start it up and make sure its on my computer as a second option to our primary Google chrome default browser, that it opens a shadowy transparent type page. At times seems like it wants to open then goes back to the shadowy page. I recently figured out how to get rid of a hijack homepage portal known as env9.com portal that had attached without my permission to google chrome and notice this same homepage is at the top of the shadowy transparent page when i click to open firefox. I run windows 7 and have a 64 bit version, I've read that firefox isnt all that compatible with this windows 7 version yet and produces several crashes and inconsitencies. That is unfortunate because on my laptop that ran windows 7 i used to use firefox all the time until i started having various problems with it. I figure the startup problem for firefox wouldn't continue after uninstalling older version and reinstalling this new one, but the problem persists. How do i get firefox to open properly again to a normal webpage and also once that is solved how do i terminate the v9 portal homepage from firefox?

hello, please close all open firefox windows and then press the shift key the next time you're launching firefox. a dialog should appear where you can choose to reset the browser: [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]]
afterwards please keep firefox updated - i don't know where you've read that firefox wouldn't be compatible with windows 7 64 bit. this information is false, firefox should just run fine on these systems, just as everywhere else...

Having upgraded to Firefox 24 it will now not start at all after clicking on the icon. My OS is Windows Vista premium. It will start in safe mode.

Upgraded to Firefox 24 and now nothing at all works despite uninstalling and reinstalling it several times and losing all my bookmarks etc. However it does start in safe mode. At first I thought it was my security Norton 360 but after 2 hours in contact with them I'm still in the same position. When I double click on the Firefox icon I can see the cursor timing out and then it just disappears and nothing loads.
My OS is Windows Vista Premium and I am using Windows internet explorer at the moment.

It happens when text exceeds the width of textfield. If you have no concern with selection of the text, you can keep selectable property false.
textFieldInstance.selectable = false.

Starting a movie after another movie is finished

hello
i have a series of movie clips that I want to play
sequentially. For some I would like them to play one right after
another and others that have a pause in between. I have the first
part worked out but it is sloppy and there is code all over the
place. is there a set, clean way to accomplish this?

Yeah that's what I have been doing. I guess I should have
been clearer. Is there anyway to consolidate the code so that it
stays on the _root timeline?
I have also used this method, shown in the attached code. I
have tried to do other things with that code but it hasn't worked.
Can anything else be done w/ the attached code or is that the most
it can do?

Premiere crashes after clicking on imported movie file

After clicking on a just imported video file (in this case .MOV from a Nikon 7100) the application crashes and displays "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.1 has stopped working" and the problem details are below. I have tried resetting the preferences but not sure what else to try. Premiere starts up fine and I can import images fine but any video file ( I have tried .MOV, .MP4, .AVI, .WMV) that gets imported crashes the software as soon as I try to do anything with it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Post Goods issue after clicking on Load Starting push button

Hi All,
Post goods issue for deliveries, suppose if the shipment document is created for XXXX country do the post goods issue after clicking the push button loading start on. and if the shipment is created other than the XXXX Country do the post goods issue after clicking the shipment start button(Done by Standard SAP).
There will be validation table in background to identify which shipping point to allow Post Goods Issue before shipment completion. This will require enhancement of Delivery User Exit to incorporate above check based on below mentioned Z Table.

Any body please suggest the user exit or any function module and how to start code for this particular requirement.

Hi,
You can write your own vaalidation on click of loading start button.
Go to include MV56AI_IS_ENHANCEMENT of program SAPMV56A.
Click on the circular button(Enhance).
Then Edit --> Enhancement Operation --> Create.
Create your enhancement giving it a Z name.
Then in this enhancement you can write your code.
For loading start you can write your code in the following fashion.
IF fcode = 'MM_ST03'.
business logic.....
ENDIF.

One thing is for sure, and that is if the only page i visit is the Google homepage (not logged in) or this site (mozilla forum), the problem does not occur, ever. I can't make it happen.
If i visit yahoo.com (not logged in) (or ighome.com, logged in), as examples, it happens every time.

Free Transform Rotation Issue - Layer rotates/moves by itself after clicking on it?

Hey all. Since the last update, I have been experiencing this weird issue while using Free Transform. Sometimes, after I invoke Free Transform and then click on the layer I am transforming, it seems to rotate by itself. Usually clockwise. It happens really quickly. It's almost like my mouse cursor is off center when I click on the layer and the it's like the layer rotates to match the location of my cursor. It's so weird and quite difficult to describe. I have also experienced the layer moving quickly to the right after clicking on it while in the Free Transform state. I have tried 2 different mice and experienced the issue on both of them. I have also tried different mousing surfaces and experienced the same thing. It doesn't happen every time but just sometimes. It started doing it since the latest update. It's really annoying. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

You may have downloaded an app that kick started something that caused the system to go whacko (how's that for a technical explanation) and maybe resetting the system will take care of it.

My website doesn't open/start youtube video, after link clicked. In Firefox only.

On my Joomla project (running under xampp local host) has a link to a youtube video, which worked fine, but not anymore. After clicking it, the resized pop-up window (java script) doesn't open the video. Window remains black and status beam at the window botttom shows 'ready'.
This problem wasn't there in former Firefox releases (3.6.. now) and doesn't occur in ms-IE, Safari and other browsers.
Please let some one fix this.

Can you post a link to your website?
Do you see any errors in the Tools > Error Console about that problem?
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Firefox does not start for very long after clicking!!If another browser is opened Firefox opens after that.

Firefox does not open after clicking on the Firefox icon on my desktop. Occasionally it opens after a very long time and that also a number of pages open at the same time equal to the number of times hat I clicked the icon trying to open. If I open another browser like Google Chrome after trying to open Firefox then Firefox follows it to open much quicker after Google chrome opens.

The error message is: what happened: Type Error: Components. classes ['@mozilla.org/extensions/manager;1'] is undefined.
It appears all the time already from the beginning after installing Firefox 4.

Thanks a lot. The Ask toolbar created this problem. Another problem is: When searching on the web via Google, normally it is possible to type a few letters and then look what appears and then click on the wanted word(s). A number of word(s) ineed do appear, however it is not possible to select any of them as ws possible as mentioned in olders versions.

Did you ever install Acrobat? It is not installed automatically with CS, but requires an extra installation step.

Can't start Windows Sharing. It unchecks itself, after clicking to enable!

Can anyone tell me how to rectify this situation: When clicking to enable Windows Sharing a checkmark shows up as expected, then 2 seconds later disappears!
It was working once. Disabled Windows Sharing to do some troubleshooting, and now can't enable it again.

Usually a disappearing checkmark means that startup failed at some point after you enabled it, as is obvious, but that means that you have to look in the system logs for any clues as to why it failed to startup. In the Utilities folder in Applications there is a program called Console. Starup the app and then slect the "Logs" button in the upper left. You'll see a list of log files on the left. Basically you have to learn what each of these is but check console.log and system.log to start with. Trying looking at these immediately after clicking on the "Windows Sharing" button and see if anything new shows up.
