  • Basic Start/Finish Date and Requirment Date in Maintenance Order

    Sir,
We want to know the link between Order Start/finish date and requirement date in Maintenance Order.
As we are facing problem during change in dates.
When we change either start date or finish date in the order, the system automatically change the requirment date as of ondate of all the materials which has been earlier issued and also consider the today date.
    Like in Maintenance Order
    Basic Start Date - 01.04.2009
    Basic End Date  - 31.05.2009
We have issued materials on the order at different date by putting offset value for the requirement date.
Now if we increase the Basic End Date of order to n30.062.009 or whatelse, the system automatically changes the requirement dates of all the materials issue based on current date. Suppose we changed the Basic End date on 10.11.2009, the system changes all the requirement dates by calulating offset value from 10.11.2009. However these materials has been issued earlier.
I want to know if there is any remedy to stop to change the requirement dates automatically.
    With Regards
    Mudit Gupta

    HI
In general the requirement date will get changed only when the IMG settings in OPU7 permits the requirments dates should be adjusted towards the order basic start and end dates
kinldy check and adjust as per the requirement

  • Maintenance Order through Measuring Point

    Dear all,
I want to know whether it is possible to create the maintenance order on the basis measuring point .
I know how to create the order on the basis of measuring counter.
Is there any procedure to create the maintenance Order through measuring point as done in case of counter?
kindly provide the solution for Creation of Maintenance Order using Measuring Point..

Really very thanks for the solution.
I have one more query, we can create the measuring point using the t.code IK01.As you told we have to create the measuring point with upper and lower range.
Is that we have to create 2 measuring point for upper as well as lower range or in one measuring point it is possible to accumulate both the upper and lower range.
If it is possible to accumulate both the upper and lower range in one measuring point then kindly provide the procedure.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Making the Basic Start Date in PM order Mandatory

    Team,
we created a new PM order type per user requirements. One problem we have is to make the Basic start date field mandatory. Can any one propose how we can make make the basic start date mandatory ?

    Dear,
Its always better to have forward schedule, and to do so, follow the path
    SPRO-->IMG-->PLANT MAINTENNACE &CUSTOMER SERVICE-->MAINTENNACE &SERVICE PROCESSING-->MAINTENANCE & SERVICE ORDERS-->SCHEDULING-->SET SCHEDULING PARAEMETERS.
Here you can set the parameters as per your client requirement.

  • Maintain production start date in sales order

    Hi,
Is it possible to maintain the production start date in the sales order? Is there a field that can be used??
    Thanks
    Keshi

    Hi,
There is no standard field which is available to enter the production start date but you can use the field GUARANTEE in the header of the sales order for your reference but this is at header level or you can use in item level text if this is only for your reference.

    Hi Pradeep...
Find some of the useful date operations here.
    Data : v_date1 like sy-datum.
    Data : v_date2 like sy-datum.
    Data : v_diff type i.
    **Assigning date variables
    v_date1 = sy-datum.
    v_date2  = sy-datum.
**Extract the individual parts of date
v_date1+6(2) = '01' .       "set the Day as the First day of the month
    write:/ v_date1.
    **Adding no of days.
    v_date2 = v_date2 + 5.
    write: v_date2.
    **Subtracting two date fields
    v_diff  = v_date2 - v_date1.
    write:/ v_diff.
Additionally you can find various FMs to process dates.
Some of them can be found in Function group SCAL.

  • User exit for contract start date in sales order change mode.

    24.10.2008
    Hi Gurus,
I need to disable the 'contract start date' (VEDA-VBEGDAT) field  in Contract data tab at header and item level. Can someone suggest a user exit for the same ???
    Regards,
    Udaynath

    Dear Udyanath,
Please check these User exits with the help of ABAPer
User exits in the program MV45AFZZ
The user exits which you can use for modifications in sales document
    processing are listed below.
    USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen
         fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called
modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a
modification in ABAP. If a field has no field name, it cannot be
         allocated to a group.
The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as
         follows:
    -   Modification group 1:   Automatic modification with transaction
             MFAW
    -   Modification group 2:   It contains 'LOO' for step loop fields
    -   Modification group 3:   For modifications which depend on check  tables or on other fixed information.

  • Production order Basic start date calculation

    Hello PP Sapperu2019s,
I have an production order for total qty - 865,00.This production order created on 11.08.2011 and I could able to see the Basic start date as 26.06.2011.Please let me know how this basic start date gets calculated. I mean what are all the parameters included for calculating this basic start date.
    My Observation:
I have checked in OPU3 for the respective plant and order type the scheduling type mentioned as Backward.
SMK u2013 903 (ie, opening period for planned order u2013 3 days)
In Routing we have two operations.
Requesting from forum people to give me the detailed calculation part on how this basic start date gets calculated / arrived.
Please let me know if you need any more inputs.
    Cheers,
    Kumar.S

    Hi Kumar,
As per my understanding this is all decided/maintained through scheduling parameters which are defined in Customizing per order type, plant and production scheduler (from the material master) (Customizing for Shop Floor Control, by choosing Operations > Scheduling > Define Scheduling Parameters). In what follows the parameters are described that affect the scheduling of a production order. Further control parameters are described in the course of this section.
According to your query I suggests ,In Customizing you can specify that an order is rescheduled as soon as it is a certain number of days late (Start in the past indicator). The system then automatically carries out today scheduling when the basic start date of the order is more than the given number of days in the past. This scheduling is a type of forward scheduling starting from todayu2019s date and where the necessary reduction measures are applied .
Else you can also specify  that a production order is to be rescheduled automatically whenever it is saved (indicator Automatic scheduling). If changes relevant to scheduling are made in the order and this indicator is not set then the order is given the status NTER (dates not current).
Hope this would be useful for you at some extent.
    Please revert if required .
    Regards
    Chandra

  • Set the dependant requirement dates to be scheduled to order start date

    Dear Experts,
The components have been assigned to the relative operations in the routing.
During the lead time scheduling, is it possible to set all the required date of the components to the order start date instead of the operation start date? How to configure?
    Thanks,
    Dawson

    Hi,
In lead time scheduling, the precise production times, that is, the target start date and the target finish date, are specified for materials that are produced in-house. Capacity Requirements are also created during lead time scheduling and the date that the components must be provided is also determined.
You have maintained the following parameters for lead time scheduling in Customizing for MRP by choosing Define scheduling parameters for planned orders:
    Parameters for determining the routing
Parameters that determine if and how scheduling is carried out
Parameters that indicate if and how basic dates are to be adjusted
    Then
You have assigned a scheduling margin key in the material master record.
You can define the scheduling margin key in Customizing for MRP by choosing Define floats (scheduling margin key).
If You Assign BOM components to the first Operation then all the components are provided on the Basic start date of the production considering all the floats
    OR
In a situation where different operations are assigned with different BOM components then  we define Lead time off set(+ve on u2013ve value) to have material provision on the basic start date of production order

  • Multi counter plan schduling start date

    Dear Experts,
Anyone can clarify the following points to provide proper support to client.
    1. we have created multi counter plan with cycle set contains of different target counter readings with logical condition OR.
    2. Now users are recording the counters via measuring documents.
    3. we are mannually scheduling the above M.Plan. System is deriving the order start date on its own. we want to know the basis behind deriving the order start date? userrs wants starting date on its own, can system will support with ant exit?
    4. what is the significance of annual estimate reading in the measuring point? how it help to derive the planned start date of M.Order?
    5. users also wants that, system should check measuring documents on its own while creating measuring documents and should result the order if it crosses the limit of the cycle set mentioned in the M.Plan. Is it possible to support the scenario?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Krishnamurthy

    Krishnamurthy,
    3) Do a manual call of the Maintenance plan, this would be the easiest way, instead of using exits
    4) For performance based MP,The [calculated planned date|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/3c/abb1ec413911d1893d0000e8323c4f/frameset.htm] depends on the counter reading at the time of planning, and the estimated annual performance that has been defined for the counter.Hence it is important that you enter measurement readings for the counter,e even-though the reading has not changed.
    5) With respect to your last question, That functionality is accomplished through Condition based maintenance functionality. You will have to use the user exit to generate a order when the reading falls outside pre-determined values.

  • Latest and finish start dates.

    Dear all,
1.What is actually meant by latest and finish start dates?
2.In my maintenance order, when i am using my workcenter against each operations, the earliest start date, earliest end date, earliest start time, and its finish time is calculating based on the WORK not on DURATION. How it normally take ?
3.Even if we are using indian calendar in the workcenter (Also capacity uitilization is 100%) system is not calculating the actual time (Scheduled done manually also by click the scedule icon in the order screen.)
    Regards,
    Prasanna.

    hi prasanna
latest and finish start date is based on the notification which is assigned to the order, in IMG for notification priorities you would specify the sch, start & finish days for each priority which will calculated the start and finish dates
in maintenance order the sch, start and finsih date will be calcualted based on the duration only ( which has calcualted based on work and number of employees).in your case in capacity master data you have specified 100% and start and finish times as 08.00 and 17.00, length of break 1.00 hr,then in the maintenance order if you specify your work and number as 1, the duration will be calculated as 1 and the dates will be calculated as
    stard date & time 14/12/07,  08:00
    End date & time   14/12/07, 09:07
sytem has calculated the times ( total working time-operating time)/Operating time for each HR, in this case  9-8/8 which is 0.125 hr or 7.5 minutes

  • BOM List in Component overview of maintenance order

    Hi Friends
When we look at the structure list in the component overview screen to select the component in the maintenance order, the BOM list is shown only for the validity on the order creation date .
However subsequently the BOM had undergone changes ( new component has been added to the equipment BOM)
This new list is not available to enable us to select the component .
How can this be handled ?It would be better to have the structure list for the current day as validity !
    Thanks in advance .

SAP has replied to our issue as given below
When calling the structural list on the component screen the
start date of the order is taken into account. If you need the
structural list of another day (for example today) you will have to
    reschedule the order.
On the header screen the display of the structural list is a general
functionality  (shared with notification, functional location, etc.) and
the date of today is taken into account.
By opening the Structure (Folder Components ) the system checks the
earl.start time form your order and the valid from date of all
components in your BOM.In the structure display you can only find the
components where the valid from date have the same range as the
early .start time of your order.
    This is SAP Standard Logic.
You can perhaps try user Exit IWO10029 which may be of some benefit in
    your case.

  • PP DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL - Incorrect extraction of latest scheduled start dates (SSAVD)

    Hi experts,
we use the SAP Business Content Standard DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL "Work Center View PP" and need the latest scheduled start date each production order operation.
In the production order operation overview (t/code CO03) on the ERP-side we have the expected latest scheduled start (Source AFVGD-SSAVD)
But in the DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL (PSA-Table) we become the incorrect latest scheduled start dates (DataSource field SSAVD)
Any ideas or experiences why the latest scheduled start date not up-to-date?
    Many thanks and best regards,
    Michael

    Hi,
I have tested the scenario again...
At the header level of test production order 1000381 I have changed the basic dates (Start/End) from 22.04.2014 to 24.04.2014.
As a result the start dates at operation level also changed...
After the above changes I have extracted the Data. The Delta-Queue (RSA7) for the relevant DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL looks nearly good.
For the both operations 20 and 30 the delta update for the field "Latest start date" (SSAV) works correct. But the delta update for the first operation "10" not processed.
Is it possible that the delta update only works for specific system status? Or any other ideas?
    Many thanks and best regards,
    Michael

  • Rescheduling of Maint order..(how we can postpone the date of maint order)

    Hi friends,
I would like to know that how we can postpone the date of maint order.I am working on preventive maintenance plan.Let consider my maint plan is based on key date so that system is generated orders like for 90 dyas cycle time as below.
    10 jan
    10 feb
    10 mrach
But suppose there is certain req.from sales dept. so production dept want to use the machine. So machine is not available on that day (10 jan) but it will be free after 2 days for maintenance .Then I want to know
1.how i can shift the order date from 10 to 12 jan.
2.What about the planning cycle? It remains constant as per system date or it will change proposed date automatically.
    Awaiting for reply..
    Thanks and regards,
    Pravin

    Hi,
    If automatic scheduling is active,
In case of backward scheduling (default for preventive maintenance) change the the basic end date
In case of forward scheduling change basic start date.when the order is saved order will be rescheduled automatically.
You can avoid the shift of next mainteannce call by giving proper scheduling parameters in Maintenance plan.
