Start Multi-VideoChat Conference with a G4 & Shareware "PowerBoost"

Question

First I was suspicous about the PR-Text for the Shareware
POWERBOOST.
But I tested the little gismo,
that allows every user with a G4 to host a MultiVideo-Chat Conference on his machine.
I am located in England at the moment and with a 1MbitDown/128kbitUplaod Broadband connection ONLY
(Endconsumers could only get 2Mbit Down / 256kbit Up here in the UK, only a few pilot-projects are testing 8Mbit/512Kbit).
I wasn't really keen that it should work anyway. BUT IT WORKS!!!
The picture-Quality fades with every additional VideoChatBuddy, BUT IT WORKS!
I will try to use the Program today at work, where we have a Business Access with 512kbit upload and report here again, if the picture-quality increases with more bandwith.

System Requirements:
* iChat AV 3.0 (requires OS X 10.4 or higher)
* G4 or higher processor is recommended
* Video/audio conferencing capabilities:
o A broadband internet connection
o For videoconferencing, an iSight camera, a DV camera, or a USB camera (USB support requires 3rd Party Drivers)
iBook G4 & mac IIcx + two Newton 2100   Mac OS X (10.3.7)

I have tried PowerBoost on my PowerBook G4 (high def 15 inch) and it actually worked. The quality wasn't great, BUT that is why you need a faster processor. More info on some VERY cool iChat utilities at (iGlasses is a must have):
