Start new app within Remote app session - how ?
Hello everyone,
In our company we happy use Remote app on our Windows 2008/Windows 2008 R2 servers (around 20 managed MS and other apps) togheter with CRM/ERP/BI. Now we need to incorporate some newly developed for us specialized application in Silverlight with our
ERP. We try very hard with local copy of software on each client computer but due to some limitaion or special rules in installation paths and/or files we can't do it.
My simple question is - is it posible and if it is, how to be done, when ERP started like Remote App, produce export files, wich have to be opened with this Silverlight app. That app can be called by the ERP even with command line but it's started on the
server and not shown on the client computer. How can be started ? IF we think logigaly, can be done, becouse PDF produced by ERP no server session are opened by the Adobe Acrobat Pro, installed only on the server !
We've tried also to make this Silverlight app like Remot app and not luck again.
Will be very happy with any advice from you guys and gals. Thanks in advance

Have you tried to install that application on RDS server for accessing as RemoteApp?
What’s your client OS you are using in your environment?
Firstly please check whether that application is capable for allowing as RemoteApp. Then you can try to install that application on RDS server and try for RemoteApp or store on RDS server and let use able to take remote session for that part. Meanwhile you
can refer beneath article might get helpful.

How do I permamently delete previouly purchased apps from showing up in the "Not on This iPhone" section of the app store?
These apps aren't showing up in iTunes. They only show up in the purchased list on my iPhone. But I guess there is no way to hide them in the App Store view?

From where i need to start new atg commerce web app ?
What i did still:-
1. I run CIM in that select B2C.
2.Created schema for prod and Pub and in pub & inserted initila data.
3.All are run fine checking with Prod:dyn/admin & Pub :bcc,dyn/admin.
4.After that i created two module for Backend and frontend.
5.created both ear and run it.
Problem comes here.
6.I Created some catalog ,Category & Product through acc now i want to sync this all data to pub server.
on this point i get stuck.
Before that I used B2C(CIM) only so in that there were no any CRS schema and data as well.
So i am confusing in that should i used CRS SCHEMA of production and also CRS Schema of Publishing and Insert initilal data for pub only.
If i used this i get more option to create site & not need to create all the table again but if i not use CRS Schema i need create all the tables for prod and pub as well& t i need DBA as well.
So plz give me some suggestion , i am very new to atg .

So after that whatever my catalog ,can see in ACC..? : yes you will be able to see in ACC, When you publish assets form BCC it will go in PUB schema(in versioned form) and after deployment you can see all those data in switching schema(If you are not using switching, find data in Prod schema)
I am not saying reverse is not possible( I haven't try by the way ) but if you interested you can try steps mentioned in post : How to sync new catalog , categories and products created in ACC to pub db

AIO Remote app cant find HP 7150 aio printer on my wifi network, on Windows Phone 8

Yesterday I install You App AIO Remote on Windows Phone 8. I have connected to wifi HP 7150 aio printer, but phone cant find this printer... I have Lumia 1520 and Lumia 920 smartphones both is connect to this same wifi network like printer, but You app on both Lumias cant find printer, again but no problem is to connect to printer WEB interface from this both Lumias, so wifi network is correct configured.
I have two tablet more in this same wifi network, both with windows 8.1 x64 systems, on this, You Windows 8 modern App AIO Remote find this same printer without problem...
So what is wrong ? printer config ? eprint is on, ipp is on, bonjur is on, ip is static.
Please help Me becease I wait for this app and now i cant use them

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are trying to use the new HP AiO Remote app for Windows phones to print to your Photosmart 7150 printer.
The Photosmart 7150 printer only supports USB connectivity, I have include the Photosmart 7150 Printer Specifications for reference. To be able to use the HP AiO Remote app the printer needs to be connected to a wireless network.
If you accidentally typed the incorrect printer model, please let me know which make/model/product number of HP printer that you have. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

I have both an iPhone and an iPad operating on iOS 4.3. I have noticed that on the iPhone using the Remote App and selecting the Airplay icon that is in the bottom right corner of the screen I can select multiple Airplay outputs. I have found out that trying to select the "Computer" selection makes this go from a Mutliple slection option to a Single Airplay option, I can not select the Computer as an option. Tapping the circle next to the Computer picture now has the same function that selecting Single/Multiple icon does. I can unselect the computer if it was already selected (in iTunes/ mutiple speaker window). The described function works correctly on the iPad Remote App.
Anyone have anysuggestion?Ok I,ve solved my own problem.
After hours of pinging, researching, swearing, you name it - I did it.
Solution.
Pulled out all the power leads on Apple Tv, time capsule and router. Left all devices off for 10 mins. Deleted Remote App off iPhone. Downloaded a new version of Remote App.
Turned on Router - waited for it to be in ready mode.
Plugged back in Apple Tv and and time capsule.
Yep, you guessed what was coming. Everything worked perfectly.
I must have screwed up when first setting up Remote App and Apple Tv. This must have led to confusing the system. As when starting the new Remote App I did nor not have to pair with either iTunes library or the Apple Tv. -
Restored tabs after a crash are very old tabs, not my last session: how to fix this?
Whenever Mozilla crashes, which is often, my most recent session is NOT restored!! I get the oops page with 2 options: restore session or start new. I click restore session and instead of bringing me back where I was with the video I was watching that crashed in the middle, it brought me to about 12 videos prior! :-/
Can you guys fix this on your end? Surely it must be a Firefox glitch as this is new of this week: all 3 times my internet has crashed as done this whereas in the past, I'd be restored right where I left off. How to - correct episode order within the Remote App
Recently I found that when i was using the Remote App to control my iTunes Library, all my TV Show episodes where in alphabetical order instead of episode number order.
after searching on how to solve this and speaking with Apple Support (who couldn't figure out why this was happening) i couldn't find the answer and noticed that many people were having this same issue and were in the same boat as me.
i managed to solve the issue and wanted to share. sorry if i have posted this in the wrong area, first time giving advise on here.
ill run through this using The Walking Dead - Season 1 as an example, but this can obviously be done with any TV Show.
Even with the correct episode numbers, iTunes displays the episode in the correct order -
but in alphabetical order within your library on the remote app -
in iTunes - highlight all episodes and get info
2. under the Options Tab, change the Media Kind to Music Video and click OK at the bottom
3. Then head over to where you Music Videos are stored
4. select each of the episodes, get info
5. under the Details Tab, you will now have more options to select
6. scroll to the bottom of the Details Tab, and within the Album Artist section, type in "The Walking Dead"
7. in the Disc Number section, you want to add which season of how many seasons there are. example - I have 4 seasons of The Walking Dead within my library, and as this is season 1, i will enter 1 of 4
8. next, in the Track section, you want to add which episode of how may episodes in that season. example - this is episode 1 of 6 in the season
9. next go into the Options Tab, and change the Media Kind back to TV Show
10. click OK at the bottom
11. once you have done this for each episode, head back into your TV Shows
12. when you now get info for each of the episodes, the Album Artist, Disc Number and Track sections should be at the bottom of the Details Tab (if they were not there before)
13. if this has been done correctly - all episodes should be correctly listed within the remote app by episode order
Hopefully this has helped somebody out there!Gotcha - came up with a workaround... since the photos were living in the Photo Library packaged itself, and not simply in another regular folder, I right clicked on the library and said show packaged content, then search for what folders the files lived in, then copied the files out of the packaged library into a folder. Then I was able to give the Photos Library access to the new folder with the files.
With all my files now references, I enabled iCloud Photo Library and am uploading now.
Hopefully my new local Photo Library will be smart enough to optimize local images and shrink to give me more space.

How can I set up a new network on my apple tv when my remote app isn't picking it up because they aren't on the same network? The actual remote doesn't work anymore, so I've been using the remote app on my phone but now that our internet changed, I can't do anything at all. Please help!
You can't use the remote app to setup a network. If your physical remote isn't working you will need borrow another or purchase a replacement.

i have an ipod touch 8gb model number MA623LL. How do I install apps on my ipod? Is it capable of transferring/running apps? Why doesn't my ipod touch have the basic-beginning app on the beginning screen after i erased/wiped my ipod and started new?
Googling shows that you have the 1G iPod. For apps you need at least iOS 2. The iG can go as far os 3.1.3 that you get here:
Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)
Just be aware that there are presently not that many apps that work with a 1G with iOS 3.1.3 -
I used to be able to control new tab actions such as opening on top of current tab or in a new tab. This is frustrating as i always cover up where I am or was! How can this be corrected so I can open a new tab in a new tab? I am enrolled in an on-line class and can not open tabs in a new tab as needed as it always places the new tab on top of teh current or old tab.
Funny as i use to complain about opening in new windows!
I am missing how to control new tabs and new window actions?

How do I use the remote app on a dual band network?
There are 2 routers in my home. One is dual band (SSID: NETGEAR49-5G). This one is being used as a 5GHz access point while the other (SSID: NETGEAR49) is being used as a 2.4GHz extender. However I can't use the Remote app to control my iTunes library, regardless of which router I connect to. I can't even use a passcode to add my library because I just keep getting an error saying I entered the wrong code. Strangely everything's fine if I turn off the 2.4GHz router, but I don't want to have to keep doing that. Is there any way I can configure the two routers so I can use the Remote app and other network-based services??

I can tell you how it works on my iPhone.
I click the Messages icon to open it.
I click the box with pencil icon top right for New Message
I start to type the name of the person I want to contact in the "To" spot.
(Alternatively use the Blue + icon and select direct from Contacts list)
I select the full name of Contact from any list if there are multiples.
Once the person and their Contact option is selected I click on the text field at the bottom of screen
Using the "keyboard" I type the Message and then the Send button.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

I purchased an iPhone 3 and had taken some photos on it. I started having issues within 30 days and could replace it. So I created an iCloud account and saved those photos as a back up on iCloud. I did not restore my new phone from back up because I did not realize I needed to restore and not just activitate it. How can I save the new photos, apps, and other stuff but retrieve the old photos?
If all you want is your old photos, you could backup your new phone using iTunes, then restore it from your iCloud backup, import the old photos to your computer, then restore it from the backup your made in iTunes returning your newer data to your phone. If you want your old photos on your phone, sync them there from your computer using iTunes. The process would look like this:
Connect your phone to your computer, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on it and select Transfer Purchases; right-click again and select Backup.
Disconnect from your computer and go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to return it to new
Go through the activation setup, choosing to Restore from iCloud backup. Make sure your phone is plugged into a charger and has access to wi-fi as this can take hours to complete.
When complete, without connecting your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Now import the old photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)
When done, open iTunes, right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose the backup you made in step 1.
Go to the Photos tab and select the photos you want to sync to your phone and sync.
