Start Up Failure: Due to windows 8 update Interrupted ?

Hi   Yesterday i got windows update but at that time my battery is not even half charge. However, my system started taking updates and mean will my laptop battery got discharge completely. Today when i am trying to start the laptop it is showing me black screen with mouse on it.. i am not able to see my desktop .  Failure Details are mentioned below : Processor Check : Passed Memory Test : Passed Hard Disk Smart Check : Passsed Hard Disk Short DST : Failed  FAILURE ID : 93055D-6H97N0-MFPX0K-60XK03  Please help me so that i can start and use my laptop.  Thanks in Advacne!!  ---Nitish

  • G560 Won't Start after 12/11/12 Windows 7 Update

    I've never encountered this before. My laptop and desktop both updated on the same night, my desktop had 12 updates, my laptop only 8. My desktop works just fine but whenever I try to start my laptop it just doesn't. There are the normal sounds of it booting up and then all of a sudden the fan will go into overdrive and the screen stays black. I don't know enough about hardware to fiddle with it and I've tried having it read the re-installation disc but I can't tell if it's working since there's no change in sound nor does the screen come back on.
    If anyone else has had this problem and knows a solution I'd be very grateful. I work on this laptop and even if I do have backup files my tablet works best on it.
    Edit: I should mention that I've tried the whole F8 safe reboot route. I can load the harddrive and access the files on my desktop. Still can't get Windows 7 to load on the laptop.

    Use system restore function and select a date before the mentioned one. For this try to login via the safe mode. You can also check if your system would work after selecting the "last known good configuration" option from the safemode menu

    Our SCSM Management Console, SCSM web Portal, every thing is down after we change SQL Authentication to Mix Mode Windows and SQL. After this we had revert back to Windows Authentication Single Mode and delete that account who was having DB_Owner access.

  • Firefox start-up failure due to unlocatable file "NS_InitXPCOM3_P"

    Used Firefox 3.6.17 to resolve sqlite3.dll issue last weekend, after clean reinstall, Firefox was working for 2 start-ups. Monday afternoon, recieved new error window stating file NS_InitXPCOM3_P can't be located in a file labeled xul.dll.
    Have image of error window to upload when that button reveals itself later within this forum.

    I was installing windows vista updates, but the battery was low and the computer turned off, then, the computer doesn´t start, only the hard disc led is light but the screen is black, please can you help me?
    The model is Satellite A205 -S4607

    Thanks for your advice, but the problem is very complicate, the computer doesn't boot up, only the led te HD is ligthing, I removed the HD and the memory but doesn't work, I've read that the problem could be the bios, and the recomendation is remove the battery of the board to reset the bios, but I think it is very dangerous.

    Such a download is usually saved in an updates or updated folder in the Firefox program/application folder.
    You can delete this folder to cancel the download.
    If files already have been downloaded then remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.

    Did you find any dump file after the Windows 7 crashed? If find dump file, please refer to following KB and

  • Laptop does not start after windows 8 update

    hi every one
    2 days ago my hp-15 notebook got 2 windows 8 updates. The 2nd one failed and after 1 hr i removed the battery to put it out of it's misery.
    now, when i push the start button only the wifi-lichts go on for about 30 sec and then the system shuts down.
    everything i tried has failed.
    what to do next???

    I understand that you got 2 Windows updates, during the installation of the second one the computer froze. After 1 hour you removed the battery and reinstalled it.
    Now when you try to power it on you get a blank or black screen with no error messages. The wireless light is lit for about 30 seconds before it powers itself down.
    There has been some Windows updates that have been causing an issue.
    Would you boot into Safe Mode and uninstall these updates.
    KB2982791, KB2970228,  KB2975719 and KB2975331.
    The other one that is suspected of causing this issue is the "Search Protect" software.
    If you check under programs and it is listed, please uninstall it.

    That has nothing to do with an update server. Do the following:
    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
    iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
    If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    To restore from backup see:
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes       
    If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
    You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:                         
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store        
      If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes

    Folks,
    I'm planning to apply the Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 and also applying the Cumulative Update 7 along with Windows Update which haven't been done since the past two years (~100+ patches).
    So in this case it I cannot afford to lose any of the Exchange Server due to the bad updates or broken server due to patches. At The moment all of the VMs currently running on VMware:
    HT/CAS role Windows NLB:
    PRODMAIL01-VM
    PRODMAIL02-VM
    Mailbox Server stand-alone non-DAG:
    PRODMBX01-VM
    PRODMBX02-VM
    Domain Controllers:
    PRODDC01
    PRODDC02
    My questions are:
    1. When taking the VMware snapshot for easy roll-back, do I have to take the entire 2 sets of the domain controller as well?
    2. Assuming I have done the Schema Update successfully and moving on to apply the SP3 to the HT/CAS server role, do I have to take both of the mailbox server VMs snapshot as well?
    3. Can I disconnect the virtual NIC inside the guest OS to safely take snapshot before applying the patches or service pack ? or do I have to let the network to be always connected during the Service Pack or CU patch process ?
    Any kind of suggestion for a better way to quickly roll back broken Exchange server due to patching would be greatly appreciated.

  • For some reason every time I start Firefox I get a window to print the current page. Am I the only one this happens to? Is there any way to get rid of it? It just started with the previous update.

    When I start Firefox, the standard print window comes up as if I had clicked on print under the file menu. I close the window without problems, and it doesn't show up again until the next time I start Firefox. When I click on print under the file menu, I get the print window without any problems.
