Start up gui is now console. how do i change it back?

i just recieved my macbook back form repair. they did a great job. however now when ever it boots up and shuts dwon it shows all the console commands instaed of the gui. does anyone know how to get my gui back? thanks

Well, I have returned my Mac mini. I'm so sad, they didn't had another unit to replace it, it seems the Mac mini Core Duo is out of stock here in Portugal.
So strange to get a brand new mini booting in verbose mode right from the box. Makes me wonder if 1) this was a used/refurbished unit or simply 2) lack of quality control by Apple.
Oh well, I'll just have to wait for more units to come to Portugal...
By the way, I have bought two Macs in Fnac and both had issues. Coincidence? I'm not buying Macs there again, that's for sure!

Had you looked in the User Guide, you would have found this: Settings>Store. Tap on AppleID to change.

I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

Restore your phone using the last backup that you made. That should put everything back the way it was.

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

You can middle-click or hold down Ctrl and left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.
You can look at this extension to set which page to open in a new tab:

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there.

Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Displays.
System Preferences can also be found in the Hard drive -> Applications folder.
Resetting the PRAM can help bring displays back to factory settings if you can't find what you need:

Select the Zoom Tool in the tool box and see if Scrubby Zoom is unchecked or greyed out in the tool options bar.

Simply go back into your applications folder and find the icon for Safari. Click and drag the icon back into the menu bar. You can choose where to place it by moving it to the perfered place in the menu bar and unclick to set.
