Start up is taking hours...please help!
Hi, i just purchased a Macbook pro 3 months ago. Just 2 days ago I downloaded Anti-virus barrier and scanned my comp, but from the next day the start up takes hours - OVERNIGHT. Please help!
Try repairing your disk just in case the AV software has corrupted the directory. I know when one of the people I support had an AV software installed it corrupted the directory for him.

Since updating to iOS 6, my 4th gen iPod touch, and my 3rd gen iPad has sound in and out. Sometimes it's on, and then all of a sudden, no sound. I've tried everything from restarting to fully resetting each one starting fresh, but nothing. Please help.

My phone has changed from the numbered keypad to the large lettered keyboard. When I enter my 6 digit passcode it tells me I'm wrong. I've tried about 6 times and don't want to get locked out. It just started today??? Please help.

I've never used the program before and dont know how to design either. I got the trial edition of the photoshop extended and do I need to take some form of lessons or how do I start learning photo shop to do things like Banners, posters, signage, digital printing in other words...Before you invest any money in a startup business you MUST make sure you are able to compete with the competition. What you are saying is a bit like - I want to start a bakery but I cant cook and don't know how to use an oven - this might sound negative but try imagine the taste of the cakes....
If you really want to enter into the market your best bet would be to hire a designer/someone who knows about printing/profiling etc as printing can be complex, especially when you bump into technical problems.....You can always learn along side him/her. I don't want to put you off so GO FOR IT!!, but it is tough out there at the moment. -
I am trying to update a 4s. The update did not work for some reason. Now I need to restore the iPhone. When I connect the usb to the computer and phone it says I need to restore. So, I click to restore. It starts extracting the software. But I am continually getting the same error message that it cannot complete for unknown error. I have been working on this for 5 and a half hours. I'm tired, mu husband needs his phone and apple support is a joke and of course I can't find any answers anywhere. Please help!

As an iPhone user myself, I know it must be very much a problem to have the phone out of service because of an error such as you are seeing. Let's see if we can get you back up and running.

Loud beeping and no start up on MacBook. Please help
After taking apart my MacBook today to try figure out a screen connection problem, I go to turn my MacBook back on and all I get is a repetitive loud beep 5 seconds apart and no start up. I have tried rebooting ram and re-seating it but still nothing. Please help!

Ok, when you said "found" I took that literally. Still, the activation lock cannot be bypassed, Apple cannot do anything to assist with that. You need to go through all of her papers and see if she wrote down the Apple ID and password as there is no other way to make the iPhone usable.

Hey! I plugged my 80 gb ipod classic to my imac, but had to switch it off when itunes hung. The ipod wasn't switching on , and when it did, all the data, including all my songs were deleted. Now, when I try syncing it to the mac, it doesn't connect to the itunes and I keep getting an alert saying ' Mac osx can't repair the device'. Now, althought all the data is gone, the ipod still shows 30 gb free. What will happen if I partiton my ipod? How do I get it to start functioning again? Please help!
Try a low level reformat of the iPod's hard drive to possibly try and repair some of its damage. Use the instructions in this article to walk you through the process.

PowerBook G4 17 won;t start after upgrading Hard disk Please help!
Hi Folks! need your help in order to diagnose aPowerBook G4 1Ghz Serial V731556CMVZ. It worked perfectly untill start to have problems with hard drive. I bought a new Seagate Momentus 7200RPM and followed the instructions ifixit.com without any problem.
After finishing, the PowerBook won't start. I can not hear any noise form HD, or SuperDrive, no startup chim sound.
I disasembly and assembly again the PB and nothing. I try to reset PRAM SHIFT CTRL ALT POWER and nothing.
It's frustrating. Please Help!I would make sure the keyboard ribbon is squarely seeded and in the right position. That clip is extremely tiny and fragile. Any damage to it whatsoever could cause major issues. Did it fracture at all during the installation process?

Hi There
Every time I try and sync my iphone 4 it seems to be taking hours. After a while I just stop as I have to use my phone. It backs up fine, it seems to stall on the 'Syncing calendars with iphone" bit
Is this usual? Didn't take this long when I had iphone 3.
Why is it happening?
How can I overcome this issue?
So far I have tried:
- Restoring iphone and using backup of my old phone. Same issue persists- though it never happened before.
- Tried replacing calendar, notes and contacts from my computer onto my phone - same issue persists
- Tried new cables
- Reporting it in other forums - no answers help

Firefox 4.0 all of a sudden starts hanging. Tried everything please help.
Okay so I've had firefox 4.0 for months now and all of a sudden it started hanging every few seconds. Now I since this happened I've been looking everywhere for a solution.
I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing 3.6.15. I tried starting it in safe mode and having ALL of my add-ons and everything disabled. I tried creating a new profile, but that still didn't work. I made sure all my plug-ins were up to date and they are.
The first thing I did was run a system wide scan with Norton Internet Security to see if there was a virus and nothing showed up. I've literally tried EVERYTHING I could possibly think of so please please help would be very much appreciated.Just read that the default memory storage on FF is set to 5 mbs. You can up that by clicking on tools, advanced and overriding the default and set it to 50 mbs (if you use lots of tabs) or 10 mbs (if you use just a few).
I open a blank tab and clear the cache periodically, while I am working. I can have several tabs open and watch videos on Youtube, by doing this. Have you cleared your cache?
Since I have an older computer, I've also used CCleaner for years. I use it often, but always before signing off. You can get it free...search for CCleaner, download from Pirifoam free. I didn't change any of the settings and it clears crap left behind from uninstalling programs, clears all browsers at once of: cookies, history, passwords, etc. I love it!
I had freezing, before using the "open blank tab, clear the cache" thing. Now I have no problems. Plus, as I said...you can change the default memory usage for FF and that should help too.
