Start Up Memory Low

I have a mac book pro I bought brand new last year and it already says my memory is full.  How can that be.  I was told that I would never be able to fill the memory on this computer.  Now what???

I assume you mean your hard drive, not your ram (memory).

I start getting a memory low warning in Windows 7 and the task manager shows Firefox as 130mb peaking at 160mb. Surely this is much too high and I wondered if there was a creeping memory leak going on. I've disabled most add-ons

Sorry didn't noticed it was solved.

what does memory low mean and what can I do?

The iPad is low on RAM which is the memory that the operating system and apps need to run smoothly and efficiently. You can close apps and that might help. Restarting or rebooting the iPad might help as well.
To close you apps, tap the home button. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw stops printing giving an error message that the is memory low. How do I clear the memory?

I have had the same issue, cannot print multiple pages without having the memory low error appear.  I have cleared the faxes from the setting menu. I have done an NVRAM reset and am able to print a 3 page document once and then receive the low memory error when I attempt to print another 3 page document. Please PM me the way to resolve this problem.  Thanks in advance.

  • Laser Jet 1536dnf MFP says memory low and will not print

Laser Jet 1536dnf MFP says memory low and will not print. Have tried hard disconnect and restart. Error persists.

Hey ,  Welcome to the HP Support Forum.  I hope you enjoy your experience here. I see that you're encountering the memory is low error status on your LaserJet Pro 1536dnf MFP. I would like to help.  For this particular error, I have found the NVRAM Initialization type of reset to be beneficial in restoring functionality.  Note that completing this step will reset your printer's wireless configuration, ePrint address, and other customized printer settings. If you have created a custom @hpeprint.com address it will be permanently erased. For more information on custom ePrint addresses, click here.   As HP does not typically make the steps for this type of reset available publicly, I will private message you the instructions you need.  Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below and clicking to accept this solution. Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.  Have a great day!

  • Query hit memory low error

    Hi Gurus,
I have created two queries which is exactly same in term the structure used but query a limited to current year and previous year and query b limited to previous year and previous to previous year. This is due to calculation logic that required for the query.(note that there is no data in the system for previous year)
When i execute both queries; query a return result but query b running forever and returning "Memory low error"
please advice what should i do
    Thank you

Well, this sounds like a classic performance issue. So you're going to have to either increase your memory allotment (SAP recommends 1GB to normal users, 2GB to 'power users') and/or review how you can adjust the performance of your query and info provider.
There are any number of performance improvement recommendations in the SAP Help documents, SAP classes, and whatnot. Because every problem is unique, I cannot specifically recommend one of them to  you. The most common performance enhancement step involves carefully reviewing your query and determining what, if any, key figures or characteristics can be removed. Navigational attributes, for example, are a significant performance drain. The second performance improvement that you can take is to try to use cache functionality.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/f048c590-31a4-2c10-8599-bd01fabb93d4
The third performance improvement step that is common is to use aggregates in the info cube.
There are other more expensive solutions- BI Accelerator, HANA, and so forth. But you should not need to implement these.
    Good luck !

I cannot get my HP LaserJet BP1525nw to print.  It says "memory low".  So when I click the OK button then it prints one page that says PCL XL Error and Error:  InsufficientMemory.
How do I clear the memory?  And if I do clear it; how can I keep my wireless connection for it?

Have you tried updating the firmware for the printer yet?
In the firmware update notes, one of the items listed is "Fixed memory leak issue".
Here is a link to the firmware update, I would definitely recommend trying it out. From the sound of it, it should fix your issue.

  • How to handle "Memory Low" warning message?

Recently users have been getting a warning message when they log on: "Memory low.  Leave the transaction before taking a break."  When we look at SM50 the user has a status of "On Hold" and the reason column says "PRIV".  We are on ECC 6.0 (since January 2010) and V7R1 (March 2011).
Usually the message is received as soon as the user logs on so it is not like it is related to a particular program.  We can go weeks without any reported instance of the message so it is not a regular occurrence.  Fortunately there does not seem to be any other symptom other than getting the message.
I have seen a post on an SAP forum that said to adjust the instance profile with these parameters:
    rdisp/max_priv_time
    rdisp/wppriv_max_no
I do not have any entries for this now and am not sure what the values should be.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this on an AS/400?  Thanks in advance.
    Alan

    Hi Alan,
    what 1024 ???
then we definetely do NOT need as4/MAXSHR64 !
I would normally at least go for em/initial_size_MB = 8000 - as you are having issues right now ...
    Or is this a small DEV-system ?
then 4000 might be sufficient ...
(the 4096 is just crap - make it simple and use e.g. 4000 then ...)

  • How to fix " Memory Low of 7610"

Pls help me !!! Thanks a lot

I get this when there is apparently loads of space on my phone. I believe it's the "up front" memory (RAM is guess) which gets eaten up if you don't switch off your phone. Shortly after "Memory Low" my 7610 seizes up completely. I try to remember to switch it off once a week but still occasionally forget so now, as soon as I get "Memory Low" I switch it off and on again immediately. This seems to do the trick and I've had my 7610 for 17 months now. What a fab phone/PIM.

    Hi Experts,
I have the following table with parent child relationship which I would like to roll up starting from a lower to a higher level. The catch here is as I move up the level i should replace the amount for a parent with the aggregate value of its children and grand total aggregated amount should be in C
For example; In the given sample data c111 rolls up to c11 as 16 (please note: the amount for c11 is 7 should not be added to 16 rather replaced by 16) which should further roll up to c1.
    This means c1 = c11c12; c11 = c111 = 16 so, c1= 1612 instread of 16712.
Since this is a interim table, i do not have any control on how many levels it might contain.
So dynamically, i need a query which would rollup and aggregate the amount from a lower to a higher level moving up from the bottom.
Is this possible? I look forward to all the help. Thanks in advance.

  • Help, cant start Laptop (memory clogged?)

Hi. Can anyone please help. I have a G4 laptop. Was using it when had a warning about there not being enough space in start up memory and to shut down applications. I quit internet and started sorting unwanted files into trash. Then hit delete trash. Left room for a cuppa, when I came back the screen was just blue.
Turned computer off, let it sit a minute and have turned it back on and it just stays in the booting up phase (apple logo & small wheel spinning round) Tried turning it on and off a few times but continually stuck in booting up phase.
    What can I do?

Safe boot mode runs a directory check command similar to that used by Disk Utility's repair. In Tiger it ignores some stored information (cache) that is normally read that speeds up the boot process, and it moves some other caches to the trash. It also uses only System fonts and disables all Startup Items, third party items, and any Login Items.

  • N8-00 Memory low HELP!

I have a problem with my N8-00, every few minutes i get a yellow triangle message appear saying "memory low, delete some items from c:" i have deleted everyting i can (messages, emails  maps etc) and using file manager I can't se anything else to delete!
i currently have 17.1mb free on the c: drive, 237 mb in use, there are no messages / e-mails etc on the phone but according to the details section 71mb is being used by messages and a further 82mb by "other files"

    Hi gornalgremlin,
Have you closed all applications fully and none running in the background, as this will take up vital memory too. Also, where are you pictures and videos saved? if they are not saved to the mass memory of memory card, please set it to and move them there, as they will take up space quickly.
Let us know how you get on.

  • N95 8G memory low???

    hi,
when i try to open a pdf that's 7.9Mb, my N95 says that 'memory low', can't open the file and returning to recent list. There's something wrong???
if i try to open another pdf that's 7.6Mb, it's ok!

    anyone can explain? thanks.
The world is round; KARMA will strike...

The pdf reader on smartphones is very basic. If it struggles to open a file it just give the memory low message instead of a more descriptive message.
There is a newer version of the reader that handles files larger files and files created by newer versions better but adobe won't let you have it for free. You can find it here:
    www.softwaremarket.nokia.com
You need to search for "Adobe Reader LE v2.5" (a direct link won't work for some reason).
