Start up message says file missing, re-install

I downloaded CS4 and since then I receive this start up message:
"One or more files in the Adobe Application Supprt folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop."
I did that, the message is still there, but PS seems to run fine. How do I get rid of the message?
Mac OS 10.5.7
Thanks.

Okay, I had already tried reinstalling it, but I tried it again just in case and it worked. Thanks and good night!
