Start using headstart with CAPI-TAPI-packages in an existing application

I want to start using the capi-tapi principle to implement new business rules in an old existing application.
In this application there are already "normal" triggers. Will this coexist? Or can this cause troubles?
Can anyone say something about this?

As long as these triggers do not have the same name, there'll be no problem. It's possible to create multiple triggers that fire at the same time (i.e. "before insert row"). But beware: you cannot control the order of firing!
Also beware of doubling your business rules: probably there are allready rules defined in the existing triggers...

Looks like we found a solution, it's Mickey Mouse but it works. After talking to two Apple Senior Advisors, this is the fix they came up with:
The first advisor after exploring it for awhile, came to the conclusion the way to get my calendars back local On my Mac with the alerts as I had then was to import the saved .ics files with my my 'dangerous email alerts' being removed then me manually re-adding them. I said that was a no go.
The second advisor, after speaking with me for awhile and trying a few things that we'd tried before said he'd do some work on his end and call me back. A couple of hours later he phoned back with a fix that I guess will have to do, his solution:
I had to go into Calendar-preferencs-accounts and create a Gmail calendar, quit and restart Calendar, I created a calendar in the gMail account. Then I was given the option in Calendar under File-New Calendar to create On my Mac local calendars. Next was to create local calendars with the same names as my iCloud calendars. Now I had to un-check all calendars but one, put Calendar in month view, command-click all the events for the given calendar and drag them to the new local calendar of the same name. I then had to repeat this for each of the calendars and for all 12 months of the year.
I'm not done yet but it seems to be working. As I said Mickey Mouse but doing the job. It seems creating another online calendar account was the only way to get the local On my Mac option, active again. What a pain in the a** this has been, I will repeat it again

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that some of your applications are not appearing under Settings > Cellular on your iPhone so that you can restrict or allow use of cellular data. If you have some installed applications on your iPhone that are not showing here, the first troubleshooting step I would suggest would be to reset your iPhone. Please refer to the attached article for information on how to perform a reset.

Using iSetup to create new operating within an existing application

We have a requirement to replicate multiple operating units and related config within Finance, Procurement, Inventory and EAMS ... so we have previously configured the operating units again in each new environment - crp, dev, sit, uat, prod -
There are multiple selection sets available which include operating unit setup (we are on 12.0.5) including Financials Operating Unit Level Setup, Financials Setup and Organisation structure.
There seems to be overlap the ... Which is the best to initially migrate the OU
Is there a document or metalink note which covers the dependency for various migration requirements?
In our case we are migrating within the Business group, legal entity and set of books so would expect we could load it via selection sets with little intervention.

Yes, you are right. Operating Unit is available in multiple selection sets. The idea is that it is grouped wherever it makes sense so that you need not switch over to other selection set to load the data.
For example, you cannot load most of the financial, hrms and manufacturing related data without loading operating unit. So, we have added the same API under multiple theme. But essentially it is the same API which is getting reused everywhere.

I had an iPod nano and then got a classic iPod, which then broke. So I wanted to start using my iPod nano again. I still have the same iTunes account, but when I try to sync this iPod with my iTunes nothing happens.

The music that was on this nano when I stopped using it a few years ago is still on it, and I want to replace it with other songs that I've added to my iTunes since then.

iPods (except for iPod touch) are not linked to any iTunes "account." They are associated with your iTunes library. The account in iTunes is your Apple ID, and that is used to buy and download content from the iTunes Store. It is not required to use an iPod.
The 1st (and 2nd) gen shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library at a time. When you connect it, iTunes should prompt you to start using it with your iTunes library, and warn that the shuffle's existing content will be erased. Have iTunes erase the shuffle, and it will be associated with your iTunes library going forward. You can then add content to your shuffle.
The need for the previous owner's Apple ID and password should only come up if you are trying to transfer existing content from the shuffle to your iTunes library, AND the previous owner had content purchased from the iTunes Store. Just cancel out of that step, if iTunes asks.

Suddenly my mac uses only all caps and I can't restart, please help!

Suddenly my mac started using only 'all caps', and also 'select all' with 'left click' in both iTunes and Chrome. I tried to restart, but it will only attempt to open in safe mode, and it will not accept my password. I assume this is because it will only type in capitals, so I cannot get in at all, even with my OS disk.
This is not because of the caps lock button. I tried this many times. My cat may have walked on my keyboard though. When this happened, I was copying unlinked descriptions from Chrome to iTunes podcasts. I have shut down to restart several times, and my new wired aluminum keyboard is 4 weeks old.
About 3 weeks ago I did a complete erase of my hard drive and installed snow leopard and iWork 9 from disk, updated them, and only added my documents back on from a bootable backup. Then I downloaded Lightroom 4, and imported a few thousand photos from an EHD. My iTunes library is on a seperate EHD. Everything has worked perfectly until now. I do have a recent Time Machine backup. My APS uninterruptable power supply is about 2 weeks old.
What can I do now?

Problem solved, it was my new mac keyboard, only four weeks old.
My old mac keyboard works fine except for the row of keys on the far right,
which is why I got a new one.
Hard to believe a bad keyboard could mess up a mac that badly!

Using JNLP with Netbeans on Mac OSX

I am trying to get an idea on JNLP by running locally from folder before I start using it with web server. Therefore its a new-bie question. I have a jar file in "netbeansProjectFolder/dist" folder along with library folders. I created a jnlp file in netbeansProjectFolder. The file contains the following code:

Note that the jar href should be a path
that is relative to the codebase.
I also noted that your JNLP element has
a codebase but no href for the JNLP itself.

How can I use TrueSequenceFactory with multiple sequences

In the post "How to use existing Oracle sequences using KODO" answered
by Marc Prud'hommeaux a "sample code" was given. But seems to me that
example will only work with a single Oracle sequence for the entire
system. Is this right?

The problem is that you are using application-identity. When you
specify an objectid-class, we treat is automatically as application
identity. To resolve this, I would recommend removing both the
objectid-class and identity-type atributes from your class. With
"objectid-class" in place, we asssume that you wil take care of identity.

To use ClassSequenceFactory must the identity-type of my entities be
application or datastore?
Is the "objectid-class" parameter required in this case?

use this property to represent my object id?

The last question is related to my architecture: one VM with the EJBs
(entity and session) and another VM with the web classes and JSPs,
connected by a session facade. I don't want to use any Kodo or JDO stuff
in the web tier. Is this possible?

Where to start the journey with conherence

Hi All,
I am new to coherence, so would like to know from where I can start exploring cohrence mechanism for caching. I'm trying to explore integrating coherence with webcenter server.
while installing webcenter stand alone server, even coherence will also gets installed (I guess) since I can see in my middleware home a folder with name "coherence_3.6".
How can I start using this with my webcenter application? Can anyone help me on this?

I would suggest you to learn the fundamentals of Coherence and start doing basic exercises and/or examples before integrating to WebCenter. I think the tutorial available at the URL below is very useful for people new to Coherence, as it explains step-by-step the basic installation (stand-alone first), the interaction with Java classes and the basic usage of the Coherence API and then more sophisticated steps like advanced features of Coherence, security, interaction with JPA and WebLogic. Problem in Integrating Existing Application with Portal

I have my existing application. When i tried to integrate it with portal by URLScrapper Channel, my existing applications are logging me out.
My existing applications have different user / password for logging into it. Once i try login, i am not able to log into it. I hope there is some problem in session. Can anybody tell me how can rectify it.

Bought IMAC sept2012 after updates gray screen shows up with logo at start up. Please help! I don't know the system as I just start using it and the package did not come with CD to reinstall system. I tried to reboot holding shift but it does not work.

I bought the IMAC 21.5" /2.5QC /2X2GB /500GB /6750M sept2012. After the automatic update run when restart computer the screen is on the gray screen with the logo and wont' do anything else. I tried to reboot holding the shift key without success. The package did not come with a CD so I can not reinstall the previous system. I even don't know what is the system that came with the computer because I just start using it. I bought in the US but am in Brazil. Try booting into the Recovery HD which is on the HD. Restart holding down Command+r and at the screen with four choices select Disk Utility>Macintosh HD and click on 'repair disk'. If any changes are made click on repair disk again until you get a clear pass. Restart as normal from the Apple menu.

Using Xerces with Java Web Start

I read that there might be problems using xerces with Java Web Start, because JWS uses Sun's implementation of JAXP internally. My application needs Xerces and I think I am able to get it working using the following settings in the JNLP file:

Anything you downloaded with the first Apple Id will forever be tied to it, and will always require it to update.
The question here is, why did you think you needed to create a new Apple ID? What was the problem with the first one?
To get rid of th old one, you'll need to delete everything you downloaded with it, and then sign out of the ID in several places around the iPad.
Go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign out.
Repeat the process, for Facetime, Messages, Mail and any other App you need to sign out of.

Thank you very much for your answer! I have 2 Apple ID, and I have tried both of them and the problem continues. I founf several peolpe with the same problem in apple communities foruns and that really seems that there is some problem. I addded the links for 2 of those discussions.
