Starting a server with urban terror 4.1 and it just hangs

yeah, I'm trying to experiment with hosting a server with urban terror 4.1. I go through the trouble of setting up the server with my desired settings and when i hit the start server button, it closes and hangs with 100% cpu utilization. could it be the new xorg or maybe the new xfce 4.6.1? i can set up a server as "Dedicated: NO" and I can play alone on localhost, it hangs when i set it up as a LAN server or internet server.
I have xfce 4.6.1, nvidia 8500 gt graphics card, everything is up to date.

I know this's a really old post, but solution for this problem is a write Your hostname instead of "localhost" on screen with server setting.

    I found the solution . The reason for this is that JRockit's High Performance Thread
    System uses asynchrounous I/O "under the hood". Weblogic's Native I/O is also asynchronous.
    The two asynchronous I/O systems clash and the result is the error you see.
    There are two ways around this problem. Either disable JRockit's High Performance
    Thread System (or thinthreads) by using the -Xnativethreads command line flag, or
    disable Weblogic's Native I/O.
    For Weblogic 6.0 and higher, edit the config.xml file. Find the line saying NativeIOEnabled="true"
    and change this to NativeIOEnabled="false".
    For Weblogic 5.1 you edit the file weblogic.properties and change the line weblogic.system.nativeIO.enable=true
    to
    weblogic.system.nativeIO.enable=false

  • Is there any way to start weblogic server with java 7?

    Hi. Is there any way to start weblogic server with jdk 1.7?

    Hi,
    You can start your Weblogic Server with java 7(JDK 1.7)
    Go to Domain_home/bin and click on StartWeblogic.cmd it will start your Admin Server
    It depends on which JDK you have used while creating domain if you have selected Jdk 1.7 it will use the same to start the server
    See the Ex:
    ================
    starting weblogic with Java version:
    java version "1.7.0_51"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
    Starting WLS with line:

    Hello,
      Please advice, i have an Exchange 2010 server with 2 DAG servers - DAG1 and DAG2 - backup with 2 DPM servers, one for DAG1 and one for DAG2 is it possible ?

    Hi,
    I confirmed with Exchange support team that DAGs could be backed up separately.
    Meanwhile backup database is important if you need to recover both Exchange server settings and database. See:

  • HT1310 I press option when starting up my computer and it just hangs or at least never gives me the list of startup disks before it's booted up.

    I press option when starting up my computer and it just hangs or at least never gives me the list of startup disks before it's booted up. I can choose which startup up disk when I'm already booted up from settings --> Startup Disk but how do I know if my Macintosh HD internal drive disk fails I'll be able to boot from my supposedly bootable backup drive?
    What am I missing? I have the latest Mountain Lion, could this be bug in that new Op System?
    Does the startup drive list (before bootup) only show up if the Macintosh HD is not bootable (crashed or broken)?
        Dave

    Replugging my keyboard into my front USB2 slot was half the solution. I had my keyboard plugged into a KVM switch which goes into the back. The other half was that I needed to unplug my backup firewire hard drive from the front port to a chained drive with the source hooked into the back of the Mac Pro. Not sure if it was the cable or the firewire slot that gummed up the hardware startup hard drive selection diaglog.
    I also tried resetting the NVRAM and only got one Mac startup sound. That didn't seem to do it but then again it could of been a necessary condition as well.
    Thanks everyone for your help.

  • How to start weblogic server with non system user

    I want to start wls6.1 as an nt service with different user name other than
    system.
    Thanks
    Madhu

    I have installed weblogic server as an nt service. In install Nt service
    cmd, if I make any change in the script, I have to uninstall and install it
    again. I do not know where to specify the weblogic.management.username =(Non
    system user)
    I have created a user name in NT server and added them to Administrator
    group. I have also modified in file realm propertes i.e to boot and shutdown
    the non system user.
    I have to start weblogic server as a non system user.
    Thanks

    I think I replied to some of the questions when I found out the answers.
    Only thing I did was hit reply, instead of reply group. Might it went to
    persons e-mail. That might be the reason, the answers I posted is not found
    in the newsgroup

  • Start managed server with the node manager???

    Hello,
    I have one admin server and one managed server for my domain. Can i Start the amdin and managed server from the node manager and not just the admin server. Currently with the install of node manager only the admin server starts and not the managed server. I need to log in to the admin server to start my managed server which is very cumbersome.
    Edited by: user9021545 on Mar 11, 2011 1:58 PM

    hi,
    In order to start Managed server from the console itself,then u have to enroll your node manager.
    Step1). Start the AdminServer...using startScript "startWebLogic.sh/cmd"
    step2)start ur node manager using stat node manager scripts,
    step3)Login to adminConsole and then see the NodeManager is Reachable or not
    If reachanble
    then run "setWLSEnv.sh/cmd".
    Then run wlst.sh file
    Step3)connect('weblogic','weblogic','t3://localhost:7001')
    Step4)nmEnroll('C:/bea103/user_projects/domains/7001_Domain','C:/bea103/wlserver_10.3/common/nodemanager')
    After this u will be able to start and stop managed server from console itself
    Note:even after dis your managed server doesnt starts then please check under <DOMAIN_ROOT>\servers\<SERVER_NAME> whether you have a folder name as security and inside it whether you have file called as boot.properties
    if no then follow these below steps
    Please create a directory "security" inside your
    <DOMAIN_ROOT>\servers\<SERVER_NAME>
    inside "<DOMAIN_ROOT>\servers\<SERVER_NAME>\security" ( Example Location:
    WLS103/user_projects/domains/Test_Domain/servers/AdminServer/security )
    directory create a file with exactly same name as "boot.properties" and with
    following 2 lines inside it:
    username=weblogic
    password=weblogic
    NOTE: Here "weblogic" is the Administrator username & password...
    if you want dont want to run Admin server from foreground then try runnin it as a background process
    This link wi; b helpful for that

    any further help in this den do let me know

  • Start weblogic server with java argument

    Hello,
    I am using weblogic server version 10.2. And the environment have one Admin server and two machines.
    In admin console, one managed sever is configured with Java argument in "Server Start". The java option can be passed to JVM when i start the managed server in admin console. i confirmed that by execute ps the java process from the linux server. However, the java argument cannot pass to the JVM when i start from command line as below. is there any specific configuration required?
    /weblogic/bea102/wlserver_10.0/common/bin/wlscontrol.sh -d premium_102_internet_qa -n /weblogic/ndmgr -c -f startManagedWebLogic.sh -s server_qa_svra START
    PLease help!
    Thanks,
    Angus

    You have to use the nodemanager. The parameters are added to a file startup.properties, located in the
    directory: <middleware-home>/user_projects/domains/<domain-name>/servers/<server-name>/data/nodemanager
    The file startup.properties is used by the nodemanager to start your managed server.
    You can start your environment by using a start script (written using WLST), for example,
    beahome = '<middleware-hoem>';
    adminusername = 'username';
    adminpassword = 'password';
    domainname = 'domain-name';
    linux = true;
    pathseparator = '/';
    if not linux:
         pathseparator = '\\';
    domainlocation = beahome + pathseparator + 'user_projects' + pathseparator + 'domains' + pathseparator + domainname;
    nodemanagerhomelocation = beahome + pathseparator + 'wlserver_10.3' + pathseparator + 'common' + pathseparator + 'nodemanager';
    print 'START NODE MANAGER';
    startNodeManager(verbose='true', NodeManagerHome=nodemanagerhomelocation, ListenPort='5556', ListenAddress='localhost');
    print 'CONNECT TO NODE MANAGER';
    nmConnect(adminusername, adminpassword, 'localhost', '5556', domainname, domainlocation, 'ssl');
    print 'START ADMIN SERVER';
    nmStart('AdminServer');
    nmServerStatus('AdminServer');
    print 'CONNECT TO ADMIN SERVER';
    connect(adminusername, adminpassword);
    print 'START MANAGED SERVER';
    start('ServerName','Server');
    nmServerStatus('ServerName');

  • Starting Admin Server with nohup from Node Manager

    We are using WebLogic 9.1 on Windows 2003. I am able to start the Admin Server from the Node Manager using WLST but when the user logs off the server the Admin Server exits.
    The documentation says to use the -Xrs or -Xnohup options for Sun Jvm or JRockit Jvm. Where should this option be invoked?
    I have placed the option in the Arguments field of the 'Server Start' tab in the Admin Console. And I have also placed the option on the command line when invoking the WLST The Admin Server still exits when the user logs off the server.
    Can this option be used with the WLST command that starts the Admin Server? If so, does anyone know the syntax?
    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Can you explain how are you doing this. Are starting the server using WLST nmStart()?
    If you are using nmStart(), then is your nodemanager running as a windows service.
    Also, the option you are referring to should be used for the JVM running as a Windows service. If you start nodemanager as a service (which you typically should do in your case), then you can place the -XnoHup option on the Java command line for the Nodemanager service..

  • Start up issues with T707, lit black screen and directional pad.

    Hi,
    I really need  some help with my T707. I'm currently getting a black screen when I turn it on,  and it won't advance further. The directional pad lights up, and it just stays  that way. What can I do, is there anyway to reset it? Whenever I take the  charger off, it is no longer lit, and I have tried a couple of batteries, and  they don't appear to make a difference. I've tried restoring factory settings, but I can't get it to be detected by my PC.
    Thanks in advance,
    gillinm

    If you can't run the update service or use it in any way, then it's time to contact SE.
