Starting CAN application

I need a sample code to start an application with NI-CAN/LS2 board.
I need to send periodically (100ms) a CAN frame and I need to read preiodically (100ms) too another CAN frame.
I'm develloping in VB, and it's my first time with this board. Can someone help me to start my application?

Basically, there are two locations where you can get started. The first one and once you have installed NI-CAN driver, you can see the examples included with it ( ..Pogram Files/National Instruments/NI-CAN/MS Visual Basic...). The second one would be to go to the Example Code Library on the web and look for them.

we are trying out visual composer 7.30 with Portal. After developing in VC and deploying to portal I can't start the application. In the log-files there is the following message:
Application sap.com/tr-gruppe_impl cannot be started. Reason: it has hard reference to application sap.com/tcwd4vclauncher, which is not active on the server because application is not deployed. Probably refering application sap.com/tr-gruppe_impl declares runtime but no deploy-time dependency to the referred application which is wrong. Deploy the component sap.com/tcwd4vclauncher or contact owners of application sap.com/tr-gruppe_impl to check their references..
I have read several threads that tcwd4vclauncher doesn't exist in portal 7.30, but these threads don't offer or describe a solution which fits my problem.
Do I have to deploy the missing component? If, yes where can I get it?
Please, does anybody have met the same problem and solved it?

I dont exactly how to start this is as a window service, but if your requirement is just to start your application when the machine boots,
then you can create a shortcut for ur webstart app, using the jnlp tag <shortcut>
then add this shortcut to your windows startup folder.

Can´t start the application

Hello friends!
After installing NetWeaver 7.02 I wanted to start a WebDynproABAP application. I activated WebDynpro like shown in the tutorial "Step by Step Configuration for Running Web Dynpro in SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Trial Version". But When I start the application I don´t get the login-popup like shown on page 8 of the tutorial. I get only the first yellow bordered Window with the links "logon" and "change password" but the buttons do nothing.... I can´t fill in the username and password....
Can anybody help me find out the problem? I thaught it was a problem while the installation - so I installed it all again - nothing changed.
Please help me!

I can no longer start some applications (i.g. Office and Photoshop)

Since a few weeks i can no longer start some applications in Mac OS Tiger that worked perfectly before:
- The complete Microsoft Office suite (incl. Update)
- Finale PrintMusic
- Adobe Photoshop
When I try to start them, their symbols just jump some times in the dock and then disappear again.
I deinstalled Finale PrintMusik in order to reinstall it afterwards. But when I double-click the install-file from the cd it's the same: it jumps and disappears.
I repaired my permissions, ran the daily, weekly and monthly scripts and reset the P-RAM.
Any ideas?

How to start a application with a login window?

does anyone have any idea on how to start an application with a login window? a login window is the first frame or window to be displayed when an application starts running. and only correct login id and password have been entered the real application will start. any sample out there? thank you.

You can start a new thread by making a thread object and passing it an implementation of a runnable object. Runnable has just one method, public void run(), this is was gets executed in a second thread. perhaps the code you would use would look something like this.

How to start an application in the background using "oscmd" on windows

Is there any way to launch a windows application using oscmd without suspending xmath?
From a "cmd" window one can use the start command:
> start notepad
Which starts the application without suspending the "cmd" window.
From xmath command line, one may use:
> oscmd("start notepad")
This starts the application. However, the user cannot interact with xmath as long as the application is running.

You can build a similar program into an executable and since the Parent
executable will finish executing, control will return to XMath even
while notepad is still open.

Okay, pls check that you are logged in as administrator and installed and now you are logged in as administrator and registering the iAS server. Did you get any installation failures while installing and are you able to register the server using iASAT ?

Java 7 Update 25 Client App Downloaded From Web Start Can't Connect Out

Since Java 7 update 25, I have an issue where my client Java application, downloaded with Java Web Start, can no longer connect to a remote server. (The client uses remote EJB to connect various servers). The issue I believe is that the client application is being blocked by security features of this Java update.
A very quick (random?) fix around the problem is to show the Java console. If the Java console is enabled to be shown, the client application can connect fine.
Although showing the Java console is a quick fix, it's not one we particularly want to keep asking customers to do. I understand we may need to define the Codebase and Permissions in the manifest file as described here: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/technotes/guides/jweb/no_redeploy.html..
I have defined the Codebase and Permissions in the manifest of the client jar's we build ourselves. I believe this has worked as we no longer see "Missing Codebase manifest attribute for...." in the console for our own jar's. However, the application still cannot connect out. I'm stumbling around somewhat on this issue and trying various things in an attempt to get this to work. Assuming i'm on the right lines and the problem is some jars missing the Codebase and Permissions in their manifests, my question is, should I and how can I modify the manifest of 3rd party jars to include this information? For example, the client app requires many JBoss and EJB client jars - do I need to somehow modify the manifest of all of these jars to include the codebase and permissions?
It goes without saying that all the jars are signed - the application would not start at all if there was a problem here. So the application starts with it's login box - but it simply cannot connect out to the servers.
If anybody can offer any help on this issue i'd be most grateful. As a quick fix, is there a way to get this to work via adjusting Control Panel settings (other than showing the console)? I have played with a lot but not stumbled on a way to get this to work other than showing the console, although ideally i'd like to be able to get this to work without having to do any tweaks to clients Java control panel.

We're also seeing this. The 7u25 update completely derailed a trial program we were conducting, because no one could log in to our application via WebStart once they upgraded Java.
Our login code crashes because SwingUtilities.isEventDispatchThread() throws an NPE.
We tried theskad81's fix but it didn't work for us. We worked around the issue by hosting u21 on our site and pointing our WebStart page there instead of at Oracle's update site.

OC4J 9.0.4 won't start web applications event if they marked as to be...

OC4J 9.0.4 won't start web applications after it was restarted even if they marked as to be loaded on startup.
I have following line in my http-web-site.xml oc4j configuration file:
<web-app application="default" name="app" root="/app" load-on-startup="true"/>
and in web.xml (<web-app>/<servlet>/)
<load-on-startup>0</load-on-startup>
But when I invoke following command:
java -jar admin.jar ormi://localhost admin Matrox -restart
my application won't be started after server was restarted... :( If I shut it down and start it then it will be started...

Can you try the "-updateConfig" option of admin.jar?

After wakeup from pc sleep I cant start any application

I upgraded archlinux to newes kernel, pacman, software and after upgrade when I put my laptop to sleep mode(covering lid), when it wakes up, I cant start any application. Allways I have to mannualy restart pc and then it works.
I have fluxbox.
What can be the problem, how to solve? THANKS

Go into Settings>General>Restrictions and see if you have restrictions turned on for deleting apps.

Starting the application server

I am new to Java Studio Enterprise 8. I try this tutorial

which is for Java Studio Enterprise 7.
I stop the firewall before anything :

Firewall is stopped.
I start Java Studio Enterprise 8 IDE under Linux ([installdir]/jstudio_ent81/ide/bin/jstudio.sh). I clicked on runtime, I have two bullets, Bundled Java Tomcat (5.5.9) and Sun Java System Application Server. Unfortunately, unlike the picture provided on the tutorial I don't have an application server automatically started.
I tried to start the tomcat server, this worked fine, I can use my browser to log on the tomcat server, http://localhost:8084. I switched it off.
I tried starting the application server similarly but I get the following message after 5 minutes :
"Error : The Sun Java System Application server could not start. More information about the cause is in the server log file. Possible reasons include:
- Unknown master password (etc...)
-Port conflicts (etc...)
-Incorrect server information (etc...)
-Corrupted Deployed Applications preventing the server to start (This can be seen in the server log file. etc... )"
I don't think I've got anything running on those ports.

In the server log file, I can't see much which would help [it seems to be long java command lines, but no particular message related to an error or a warning...]

I reset the master password, but it did not change anything.
I reinstalled everything, tried again, and still nothing on this side.
There isn't anything in the log [when I click on "View server log" I get a "no such file or directory" dialog box...].
When I click on start, I immediately get the following message on the shell :
"Internal HTTP server running on port 8082" and I can use my web browser to go on "http://localhost:8082/"...
