Starting over for existing website

I have a website that I want to completely revamp. What is the easiest way to completely start over in dreamweaver while keeping the same domain name?

Let's back up a minute, you are missing some of the fundimentals of how defined sites work and what they do it appears...
Under Site > New Site, you are not only defining the ftp info for the site here, but also the location of the actual files on your HD. My guess is you redefine the new site using the old site's folder on your HD, rather than the new site's folder.
Outside of DW, you should have two folders full of files, pages and sub-folders that make up your sites, let's call these folders OldSite and NewSite. ALL files for a given site need to be within their respective site folder. You should never use a file that is outside your site folder, it will cause errors when uploaded. If you have an image in the OldSite folder that you are using in the NewSite, make a duplicate of the actual file and place it in the NewSite folder, do not link a NewSite page to an OldSite image file.
Within DW you should have two site definitions that point to their respective folder, one for NewSite and one for OldSite. They can have the same FTP info as long as you realize any uploading from OldSite will undo what you've done in NewSite (which I kind of think is what's happening now).
If you do not have that, it isn't going to work.
Once NewSite contains everything you want to upload, follow these steps...
1. Choose NewSite from the dropdown in the Files tab
2. Connect to the server (click the plug icon in the Files tab for NewSite)
3. Expand (click the square icon on the right of the Files tab) to get a view of your server and local files side by side
5. Delete old files from the server
6. Put the NewSite by clicking the Put button (up arrow icon)

Adding a PHP section to an existing website

hello,
I am fairly new to using Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 for generating
dynamic webpages,although I have some experience with designing
static HTML webpages. I am trying to create a secured section for
existing website,which has all its pages in HTML. This section will
have a login screen to start with and then depending on User Access
level, I want the part of webpages to be hidden. These webpages
will display data from a backend MySql database.I took some
tutorials on how to create a website with sign in and sign out
functionality built in, but it tells me to create a new site and it
starts the pages with index.html, whereas my website already has a
index.html page.
Is there a way I can use this new site functionality in Adobe
dreamweaver and still not overwrite my index.html page?
Please let me know, I you would like me to elaborate more on
anything.

If you already have a domain you can associate it with 1 of the 5 sites included with the BC web hosting services included with Creative Cloud

You can create and publish an entire site, this is typically done with either Dreamweaver or Muse.
3.If it a facility similar principle like web hosting, what database engine, and language it support?

You should see an option to skip that step and then sign out of it when looking in Settings. Check out the article below for more information.

If you are hosting with Libsyn or most any other "Podcast" host you should be ok.

If you are on a self hosted site or worse yet using some file storage service like Dropbox - then you are going to have issues.
Again - this leter from Apple does not mean anything is wrong wth your show specifically - it is a generic letter going out to all podcasters.

Thanks for your response. I'm a 100% sure that I have not bought stuff in the store with multiple IDs. At most I have switched the country stores as I have two credit cards from two different countries. The number of IDs showing up when I click skip are no less than 20-30 and counting. Not a single ID do I recognize in them except mine which shows up in between somewhere. Putting my password leads me to another enter your password screen for an unknown ID.
Is there anything that can be done?

You can have apps and music from multiple IDs on your computer or your phone, but you will need the password for each one to install updates or to reload the content. You cannot merge the content from one ID into another, however.

So first I'd say that it's not a good idea to start a new apple id if you have a large purchase history. You may not transfer purchases between apple IDs. You should consider some other options listed here http://support.apple.com/kb/HE37 Primarily the option where you or your children have seperate icloud accounts/email accounts that sync their contacts apart from yours. You may use your apple ID for purchases and use a different one for icloud/email/etc.

The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

(cant seem to get calendars to ever sync right, on my devices, and across to my wifes'....so want to start with a "clean installation")

Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account (this disconnects the device from icloud but doesn't delete any data on icloud or on other devices).
If you then want to sign back in using a different ID, do so on the same screen.
I also strongly suggest that you and your wife use different icloud accounts, otherwise all your devices will have the same data on them, same emails, reminders, etc. Most likely not what you want.
