Starting PG with CUCM PIM causes conflict with previous PG with CUCM PIM

So far I've got running PG1 with CUCM and CVP PIMs, and PG5 with CUCM and VRU PIM (for 3rd party VRU). They both seem to be running well.
Now I've added PG6 with CUCM and VRU PIMs, and when it is started, PG6 causes conflict with PG5 - rtr log shows right away that PG5 CUCM PIM got disconnected, not operational, and offline.
Is there some limit on the number of times CUCM PIM can be added to various PGs?
The system is Cisco UCCE 9.0.
Thanks in advance.

But I am actually running several more PGs on the same system but they all VRU PGs.
I've got PG4, PG7 VRU running.
Does VRU fall into a different category?
BTW, we have another system UCCE 10.5 and my co-worker claims that he could not create 3rd PG, the system only allowed him 2 PGs per system.
On the system that I am using that is UCCE 9.0.3, I can create as many PGs as I want - the system does not limit PGs at all.
Is this something new with 10.5? Or is it different configuration mode (production versus development)?
Thanks.

  • Modules with Halo Theme causes errors in other modules with Spark theme

    Hi,
    We have a large application which calls several modules, some old and some new.
    Most modules and the main App are using only MX components and were styled based on default mx theme, thus we want to compile these modules with the flag to use the old Halo theme.
    But when we did this our new module that contains spark components (Which isn't compiled with this flag) couldn't find the default skin for the spark components.
    Using the -keep-all-type-selectors flag didn't work in this case.
    Only when we removed the Halo theme flag from other modules and main app it worked.
    Is there any other option?
    Because using the old modules with spark theme causes major change in the appearance of our application.
    Thanks,
    Dafna.

    I think if you mix themes you'll need to specify more styles on the
    non-default theme because the set of globals and other defaults will be
    different.

  • Synching with cloud services causes conflict

    When working/or saving any iwork document (latest versions) in my macbook pro running either box.com sync software or cloud station sync software, I frequently get the message "This spreadsheet was changed in another application." I can choose to "revert" or "save anyway". Unfortunately, "revert" is the default choice meaning I can easily lose information if I accidently hit return. I understand that the software that syncs to these cloud services is not able to handle the format of the latest iworks documents but does anyone know a work around here? In my experience, dropbox doesn't have this problem.

    A Numbers document is actually better thought of not as a file, but as a "package" containing many files, optimized for rapid sync. If you haven't done so already, you might check out a little more how iCloud works with Numbers. They're tightly integrated. The idea seems to be to have nearly instantaneous saving and backup and sync to other devices without the user having to worry about those things. Among the benefits, other than making life easier for most users, are opportunities for collaboration across the net.  The idea of turning off autosave would work in the opposite direction.
    It's a little like having a car that already has been designed with a built-in automatic transmission that works well, and saying, I don't want to use that original design. Instead I want to be able to just change the gears by myself. Manual transmissions do have their advantages. But the car has to designed that way in the first place. Having some kind of hybrid that is automatic with an option to switch to manual might be possible (you could suggest this to Apple via your menu Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback) but it might well end up complicating the user experience and not be a reliable design.

  • Problem with Call_Form to Return to the Previous Screen with Saved Results

    Hello All,
    I have two forms (e.g. Form A & Form B) both forms have options to call one another with a Push Button included in the form. Our users want to be able to return to Form B from Form A with a previous search result and parameters saved in Form B. I was able to use the following code to make this happen:
    1. In Form B, I added the following code in the When-Button-Pressed Trigger for the 'PB_Return_2_Form_A' item:
    CALL_FORM('Form_A', HIDE,NO_REPLACE, NO_QUERY_ONLY);
    2. In Form A, I used the following code in the When-Button-Pressed Trigger for the 'PB_Return_2_Form_B' item:
    EXIT_FORM;
    The above code works beautifully when I enter form B first and search the database with all the required parameters entered, the parameters and search results were displayed upon return from Form A. But the problem is when I enter Form A first, the form exits abruptly. I tried to use pre-condition testing in Form A such as the following code:
    IF :GLOBAL.DWR01_First_Call = 'Y' THEN
    NEW_FORM('DWR_SEL', NO_ROLLBACK);
    :GLOBAL.DWR01_First_Call := 'N';
    ELSE
    EXIT_FORM;
    END IF;
    (BTW, I initialize the :GLOBAL.DWR01_First_Call variable to 'Y' in the 'When-New-Form-Instance' Triggers in the form level.) But the above code does not work. For some reason this :GLOBAL.DWR01_First_Call = 'Y' condition always gets executed such that the working part of code is by-passed.
    If any of you can help me on resolving my problem asap, I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks to you all in advance,
    Jinlan
    --

    Thanks all for the information and help. I have read through the information provided in the links above, and modified the global variable accordingly in both the calling and called forms, but all tries failed. From my failed attempts, I realize that my current design might not work because the value of GLOBAL.DWR01_First_Call seems to be 'Y' each time when Form A is called as such the 'EXIT_FORM' statement in the ELSE condition will never be executed. This intrigues me with the following questions:
    I. How do I use the debug in Forms 6i to step thru the values of a variable at a given execution state? (Although, I am pretty certain that the :GLOBAL.DWR01_First_Call value is always going to be a 'Y' each time when Form A is called, it would be nice if I could see it myself and not just guessing. :) )
    II. By now, I am pretty sure my current design may not work... How do I make my code to work for the situation I described above? For your convenience, I restate my situation again below and hopefully it will clarify my needs:
    Both Form A and Form B have options to call one another with a Push Button included in each form. Our users want to be able to return to Form B from Form A with a previous search result and parameters saved in Form B, and the following code works:
    1. In Form B, I added the following code in the When-Button-Pressed Trigger for the 'PB_Return_2_Form_A' item:
    CALL_FORM('Form_A', HIDE,NO_REPLACE, NO_QUERY_ONLY);
    2. In Form A, I used the following code in the When-Button-Pressed Trigger for the 'PB_Return_2_Form_B' item:
    EXIT_FORM;
    But, the above code kicks the user out of the application completely if the user enter Form A first and then select Form B by pressing the 'PB_Return_2_Form_B' push button(BTW, this access mechanism is most commonly used by our users). So, how do I allow users to enter Form A first and allow them to call Form B and proceed with entering parameters and search query, without exiting the form.
    Any and all the help you can provide on this will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks millions in advance,
    Jinlan Tomasic

  • Problem with jquery slide show conflict with vertical navigation menu in Firefox & Chrome

    Problem with jquery slide show conflict with vertical navigation menu in Firefox & Chrome. Works in IE. This is my first time trying to post a question - so please be kind. I am also not good with code and am finding css a real challenge after learning to design based on tables. I'm using CS5.
    The "test" page with the slide show is: http://www.reardanwa.com/index-slides.html   The same page without the slide show is http://www.reardanwa.com/
    I realize the images are not ideally sized - I'll fix those once I get the pages to function.  Maybe I need a different slide show? I would prefer a widget that I can modify to required size & postition. Again - I'm not good at building with code from scratch.
    The problem is the naviagation links that are directly next to the slide show do not work in Firefox of Chrome. They do work in IE.
    I've read about using jQuery.noConflict(); code but can't figure out the correct way to use it in my case or whether that's even part of the solution. I know my code is not well organized as I have cobbled together from various sources in an attempt to format the page the way the client wants it. Also, FYI, I will eventually try to make the page work in Surreal CMS.
    I've spent sevaral days over the last several weeks trying to solve sth slide show/navigation conflict - so any specific light you can shed will be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Can anyone help with isolating the cause of an InDesign CS5 crash?  It's intermittent...

    Hi All,
    I've got a client that's running into an intermittent crashing problem with InDesign.  Ordinarily "intermittent" points to hardware, but we wanted to rule out bad software first, especially as InDesign is the ONLY application that's crashing on this system.   The crashing doesn't seem to correspond to any given task that's executed within InDesign either.  This is an iMac 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 (mid 2011 model), 8 GB of RAM.  Original this iMac was running Snow Leopard with InDesign CS5 (7.0.4), and crashing fequently then.  For numerous reasons including the crashing we did an erase and install of the OS, this time installing 10.8.2, and a fresh install of CS5 and ran all updates from Adobe (to 7.0.4), and then ran a Disk Permissions repair (we have not updated to 10.8.3 due to reports I've seen of more crashing with InDesign CS5).  Fonts and InDesign application support files from ~/Library were migrated over manually, but no other user data.  The crashing occurs within two user accounts on this fresh OS (one of which was created to troubleshoot with as a clean environment) so isn't likely user account related but due to fonts that may not be confirmed.  Being that it's intermittent it's been quite hard to track down.  Linotype Font Explorer is installed on this system and I have just now disabled the font activation plugins in case that is part of the problem here; haven't had a chance yet to let the system run without those to see if the problem is resolved.  Two recent crash logs (below) show different activity causing the crash (I've included thread 0 only, but can post more if requested; my experience has been that thread 0 will usually give you what you need, but given that we're seeing different cuases here I'm at a loss).  We have tried fresh RAM in the system in case this was related to bad memory, and that made no difference.  Font caches for both applications and the OS have been cleared and fonts showing any missing printer font files have been disabled.  Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
    Many thanks,
    Mike

    Thanks, Peter.
    The "link related" and "text related" crashes were what I interpretted here, too, though I'm at a loss on how to proceed given that this is a fresh system and applications.  This is happening with multiple InDesign projects in a design office environment where many others work on the same files and none of the other computers are having problems with these files.  I've removed the same files listed (thank you for those) before and did so effectively with creating the new user account to test with, but it had no effect.  I just tried again though, as these files could easily have becone corrupt again if they were being written to when InDesign crashed.  Will let you know if that makes any difference.  I've also gone through and completely cleaned out the fonts again and once more cleared the font caches.  If need be I'll reboot this system into safe mode and try that way.
    Best,
    Mike

  • Trying to access hotmail account but it is taking forever to get into hotmail it was working ok at start of week only yesterday and today have a problem with it

    rying to access hotmail account but it is taking forever to get into hotmail it was working ok at start of week only yesterday and today have a problem with it

    You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
    You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
    *Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
    Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
    *Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
