Starting SAP with FI - interface ?
Hello,
by getting start SAP with the module FI, which would be the best way? An interface to the invoices (bills) de SD or directly into the module FI? Which would be the best methods to build up the interface (BAPI, LSMW, Business Objects, BTCI....)??? What are your experiences and which advice you can give to me??
Thanks a lot for your ideas...
Nicole
To do a conversion to FI LSMW is the tool. To do on going interfaces to FI BAPI's
are a great tool.
pls assign points to say thanks.

Hello to All,
I have a quastion that how can be start project with SAP template(Using with DTW utility) except entered backlog entry by user.
and how many Template must be import for SAP from 01/04/2009 till now date.
answer wiil be appreciate .
Thanks
Manvendra Singh NIranjanHi Manvendra,
To answer your questions:
A.how can be start project with SAP template(Using with DTW utility) except entered backlog entry by users?
= you can start by collecting the data as CoA's, Item Masters, Item groups, warehouses, Business partners, Opening for GL's, Opening for inventory, opening for BP's. But before this you need to initialise your databse as well and map the respective accounts in the GL account determination.
B.how many Template must be import for SAP from 01/04/2009 till now date?
I guess you want to know which all templates have to be used;
For CoA you can use the oChartOfAccounts templates.
For Item masters>oItems
for item groups>oItemGroups
For warehouses>oWarehouses
For BP's>oBusinessPartners
Opening of GL>oJournalEntries or you can use the Opening balances under Administration> System Initialization> Opening Balances--> GL opening balances
Opening for inventory>oInventoryGenEntry or you can go to Inventory> Inventory transactions--> Initial quantities.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

SAP BASIS ConsultantWell I use gssapi32.dll not gssntlm.dll but otherwise you look okay.
Do you have gssntlm.dll in the E:\usr\sap\BWD\SYS\exe\run directory and have you set the SNC_LIB system variable?
Set the NT environment variable SNC_LIB on the PC where your SAPgui runs. The variable specifies the path to the gssapi32.dll file. To do this:
a. Choose Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Environment.
b. In System Variables enter the following:
Variable: SNC_LIB
Value: E:\usr\sap\BWD\SYS\exe\run\gssntlm.dll
c. Choose Set and confirm your entries with OK.

`netctl` "randomly" started failing with ethernet interface.
I use netctl with the netctl-ifpluged service to start put up the ethernet. It stopped working, so I turned off `ifpluged` and tried manually starting the netctl profile. Doesn't work.
I get this output from `s systemctl status [email protected]`
● [email protected] - Networking for netctl profile wired
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/[email protected]; static; vendor preset: disabled)

Jan 18 00:46:45 folio systemd[1]: [email protected] failed.
I don't have a clue what it means, except that my stuff failed. netctl does work with with my wireless interface, and dhcpcd works on the ethernet interface. It's just the combination of ethernet and netctl
here is a copy of my "wired" profile:
Description='A basic dhcp ethernet connection'
Interface=eno1
Connection=ethernet
IP=dhcp
On a presumably unrelated note, udev "randomly" changed the name of my *wireless* interface on a kernel upgrade a few days before this problem first occurred. The ethernet interface seems to have the same name. Probably not related, but I don't know the deep magic, and I thought that was also weird and network-related, so I figured I'd mention it.ninjaaron wrote:Jan 18 00:46:45 folio network[7383]: The interface of network profile 'wired' is already up
Try running this first:
# ip l set <ethernet interface name> down
And then start the profile again.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … ice_failed
Have you tried just using dhcpcd.service to bring the ethernet connection up?

The DB has to be open and the listener must be running, otherwise SAP or R3trans cannot connect.
For the client library problem, please check if you have the lib here. Path should be something like /oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient_10202/libclntsh.so.10.1
A very common error is the missing link:
ll /oracle/client/10x_64

dr-xr-xr-x 2 sidadm sapsys 1024 Nov 15 2006 instantclient_10202
Please do also check if the SAP Kernel Lib can resolve to the client lib, here is an example:

After upgrading to Mountain Lion, Interface builder starts up with an error every boot.
I've got a late 2008 Macbook Unibody 13", and a few months back I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. Ever since the upgrade, at every boot up Interface Builder starts up with an error. I've just ignored it mostly, but now I'm getting annoyed with it. How can I find the programs that start up every boot to research this, or stop it from loading Interface Builder every time?
You have to delete it using the minus sign at the bottom. The check/un-check is for hiding items.

Issue with provided message for WSDL of SAP PI sender interface
Hi,
as I am not familar with SOAP interfaces and use of WSDL by partners with WSDL generated in SAP PI there are some issues that I have with a scenario:
1. Import of external xsd for message is done
2. Enterprise Repository and Integration Directory objects are completely created and activated
3. WSDL was generated from ID Sender agreement (This is PI 7.1)
4. Partner got the WSDL
The partner provided now some test messages by mail that I would like to test in the mapping as the message is really complex.
But the result is strange...
1. The header of the partner message is this:
<XJustiz_Daten xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<Grunddaten xmlns="http://www.xjustiz.de">
(Some german words are in that example. But this doesn t matter!)
This is different to the xml that PI generates in mapping:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ns0:XJustiz_Daten xmlns:ns0="http://www.xjustiz.de">
<ns0:Grunddaten>
<ns0:Grunddaten XJustizVersion="">
Partner defines xsi: instead of ns0 and PI fails using this message!
So I had to change the message header and add ns0: to all element tags and node tags of the message.
(See for example with first node "Grunddaten").
2. There are some mandatory nodes and elements.
An example:
- Rechtsform is mandatory node (1..1) with element content (mandatory 1..1)
So it will appear in the payload like this:
<ns0:Rechtsform>
<ns0:content xmlns=""/>
</ns0:Rechtsform>
But the partner provides this:
<Rechtsform xsi:nil="true" />
which is the next issue as PI doesn t understand as xsi is not mapped to a namespace. !
It would be easy to use an "exist" function to solve the issue with the not provided element but this will not help
when the node is provided with additinal information xsi:....
Can you give any help/answer why PI is not able to handle such things.
Thank you!
Best regards
DirkHello Meinhard,
If you are the Service Owner, the sender system must use your wsdl message (WebService Definition).
If there're other problems or the sender system can't use your message structure, in agreement with them you need to develope a different mapping. -
How SAP integrate with XML interface & Easyship applications for labelling
Dear All,
My client has a requirement to use DHL for its shipments and shipment labelling is required.
However, as per DHL's response that DHL Express label is a complex presentation that does not lend itself the standard labeling options under SAP, but both options of the XML interface and the Easyship applications do provide this label built by the application and delivered to SAP print stream.
Please help to advise if there is any possible solutions for this implementation without using middleware?
Appreciate it.
Thank you.i AM NOT SURE IF i AM GETTING THIS RIGHT BUT, YOU WILL HAVE TO USE A BUSINESS COMMUNICATOR (EAI) BETWEEN dhl AND saP.In our current client we have developed an application where on PGI of the delivery will trigger a dlvry03 IDOc which passes through the logic of EAI and is then passed onto the carrier labelling system/interface.Once again once we receive back the info from the carrier an inbound IDOc is created to update the delivery with the tracking number and a Fedex label prints directly on the required printer.
Same way you can use shpmnt IDOC and have you tried XSI interface, it was particularly developed to deal with carrier interface.Please let me know I can provid emore info regarding XSI. -
Hi
I have installed SAp r/3 4.7..using loopback adapter in windows xp sp2 and .everything wenet fine and i could start SAP and checked.
Now I installed my sound card and alos ethernet adapter for my internet connection and also installed antivirus and firewall. In the mean time I created a password for the administrator account which i left blank during installation of xp and later SAP. Now in services the two sap services are not started and when i tried to start these services it gave me erro like "cannot start due to log-on change " or sometyhing like this.
Anyhow I changed the log on type to local system from the default user name it took and was able to run the service now. But when I am opening the MMC and starting the basis here the disp is starting for short time and then again getting disabled.
After that when i try to log in from launch pad it is giving error.
Can some one please help me????/

SOLMAN monitoring of SAP XI/PI interfaces
Hello! ALL
We have been leveraging SAP XI/PI monitoring capabilities using the Alter Framework: ALRTCATDEF and setting up alert rules in RWB.
However, we would like to start leveraging SOLMAN monitoring features for monitoring SAP XI/PI interfaces.
Please, let us know if anyone has been using SOLMAN for monitoring SAP XI/PI AE & IE interface errors AND how it can be done; so that we can work with Basis in getting this set up in SOLMAN.
Any info - or - documentation and links related to SOLMAN monitoring of SAP XI/PI interfaces would help.
Your help is greatly appreciated!!
Thank you,
RituHi,
Please check below thread. You can use BPM functionality of Sol Man for Monitoring.

SAP IDOC's, interfaces and BAPI's
Hi i am new to SD, can anyone give me documentation or reading material for SAP IDOC's, interfaces and BAPI's .
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking youHi Reddy,
Very general question, I don't think you will find the answer in one document.
BAPIs are normal function modules, with predefined input and output structures to perform standard business transactions.
IDOCs are standardised interface documents to transfer data.
Once the IDOC is read, it almost always calls a BAPI to perform the business transaction.
Therefore start with reading about BAPIs since you will definately have to master those when starting to work on interfaces.
There are hundreds of BAPIs so best is to start with a specific process, example sales order create or material master create.
Try transaction BAPI, this lists most of the BAPIs and contains excellent documentation.
Thanks for your points,

RameshHello my friend
It could be certificate didn't import properly or routtab content is not correct. Here's your checklist:
Creating the certificate request
1) As user <snc_adm> set the environment variables SNC_LIB and SECUDIR
2) Change to the alias SAPROUTER-SNCADD. From the list of SAProuters registered to your installation, choose the relevant u201CDistinguished Nameu201D.
3) Generate the certificate Request with the command:
sapgenpse get_pse -v -r certreq -p local.pse u201C<Distinguished Name>u201D
You will be asked twice for a PIN here. Please choose a PIN and document it, you have to enter it identically both times. Then you will have to enter the same PIN every time you want to use this PSE.
4) Display the output file "certreq" and with copy&paste (including the BEGIN and END statement) insert the certificate request into the text area of the same form on the SAP Service Marketplace from which you copied the Distinguished Name.
5) In response you will receive the certificate signed by the CA in the Service Marketplace. Copy&paste the text to a new local file named "srcert", which must be created in the same directory as the sapgenpse executable.
6) With this in turn you can install the certificate in your saprouter by calling:
sapgenpse import_own_cert -c srcert -p local.pse
7) Now you will have to create the credentials for the SAProuter with the same program (if you omit -O <user_for_saprouter>, the credentials are created for the logged in user account).
sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O <user_for _saprouter>
Note: The account of the service user should always be entered in full <domainname>\<username>
8) This will create a file called "cred_v2" in the same directory as "local.pse"
9) Check if the certificate has been imported successfully with the following command:
sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer
The name of the Issuer should be:
CN=SAProuter CA, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE
10) If this is not the case, delete the files "cred_v2"and "local.pse" and start over at Item 3.
Additional actions necessary before you can start SAProuter
1. Check if the environment of the user running SAProuter contains the environment variable SNC_LIB and SECUDIR
2. Start the SAProuter with the following command line (to start the SAProuter as a Windows service, please follow the steps described in SAP note 525751):
saprouter -r -S <port> -K "p:<Distingushed Name>"
-K tells the saprouter to start with loading the SNC library
3. The corresponding file "saprouttab" should look like:
SNC-connection from and to SAP
KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *
SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for Support
KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" * *
SNC-connection from SAP to telnet in your network
KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" * 23
Access from the local Network to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (OSS)
P * 194.39.131.34 3299
KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <your IP> <port>

DON'T KNOW WHY THE FORMAT MESSED UP, PLEASE USE QUOTE ORIGINAL IN REPLY MODE TO READ THE CORRECT FORMAT CONTENT. SORRY! -
I have an NW4 test drive running on linux/db2. It used to run well, and I don't remember changing anything.
However, I can no longer start SAP. The database is running , and I can connect using the CLP "db2" as sapsi4 and si4adm, and select from SAP tables.
However, running the <b>usr/sap/SI4/SYS/exe/run/startdb</b> script, specifically the line <b> R3trans -d -w xx.log</b> produces an error indicating a bad password.
Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this, and what I could have done to cause the problem? Below is the output. Sorry if it isn't very readable.
