Starting up Illustrator cs6 received a tryout screen?

I just started up my Illustrator cs6 today, and a screen came up that said Tryout. This the first time its ever happened. After checking out google, I found that similar questions were asked but on torrent sites. I purchased the creative suite fully in September. So, I'm not as to why I would receive this screen.
Can anyone advise what this is about?

I figured it out, for some reason I had to put my serial number in again.

Error 5 when starting up Illustrator cs6

Adobe Illustrator CS6 cannot find welcome screen

I really loved the welcome screen as it made it working with illustrator a bit more efficient for me. For some reason I cannot seem to get this to come up. In CS 5 I think I could reactivate it in the help screen menu but its not in this version. Any help would be great.

So for those of you who like the welcone screen and want it you have these users to thank for having it removed and the real reason they are aginst the welcome screen which they call superfluous, is, is that to them it look like it was not what they think of as being professional. You can argue with them that they could easily turn it off but even this offends their idea or vision of their professional standing.
They happen to be wrong about this on all fronts and the welcome screen will have to be returned to Ai as it will be part of the interface for the Cloud it is essentail that AI be part of the Cloud or Adobe will have to drop Illustrator and incorporate it into Photoshop and bring back the welcome screen to Photoshop.
With the advent of the Cloud the welcome screen will be the gateway to your projects and your work and your bvack up storage and access to not onl applicattions and files but to your clients and file transfers regardless of where you are in the world even when you have limited access to the web and there will be no need to lug a laptop with you on the plane.
The concept that i can set this up or that up or this other thing up with out the welvome screen is ludicrous at best when you cn mangge your work from any application.
BTW folks these are the same folk who think the Bridge is useless as well in spite of all the advantages it offers and some of them might even be resposnible for not having the minibridge in Illustrator which would allow one to drag and drop files into an open documet or drag it into the application frame and open the file that was as well.
R ight now you have to refocus to the Bridge or if you are running ID or Photoshop snd have the minibridge running drag and drop from those minibridge panels to AI or fight witht he finder, which can be a nightmre no mater how well you have it organbized.
And Scott there are people out there that usee many more applications than you do in one sitting and work from corporate files that are not organized like you have it organized and both the bridge and the welcome screen is the right place for them to mange their work flow.
And even if you have a job abd they let you do what you want they do not do this in other companies.
The welcome screen is a portal that is the way for Adobe to overcponme their problems with networks and large corproate infrastructures and a chance to even get some of that bvusiness.
Those who think the welcome screen is superfluous are not seeing a much larger picture. And since they never bothered to use it they never saw that value in it.
I thought when I first saw it why would I need this but then I tried it, just to test it and just to see what it was about, it proved that it had far more potential than I thought it did.
Anyway it will come back and hopefully in a do rlease soon.
I say some of you are short sighted and too insecure about your professiona l status to let the Welcome screen make you react with such drastic resposne as it is not needed so get rid of it and yet we still have the Flare tool?

Illustrator cs6 is freezing at start up

I have adobe illustrator cs6 on a Mac mini. I have been using it everyday for about 3 weeks. All my art is vector based. Today I clicked on the icon in my task bar. The icon did its regular jumping thing, then began to bounce much higher. The start up screen came on. At the bottom where were it says it is loading text and thing like that it get stuck on inizilializing. Then a new box appears above it and says it can not perform this task.
I need illustrator now.
System
Mac mini osx 10.8.2
Proc. 2.5 ghz intel core i5
Mem. 4gb 1600 MHz ddr3

The problem had changed now. I'll turn the computer on snd it starts to boot, freezes and then prompts me the **** it down. There are no other devices connected. Just the keyboard and a wireless mouse. I'm unable to safe boot.
I have an iMac 24 inch, early 2008. Processor is 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Memory is 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Software is MAC OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63). I had 2 updates which I did. Started using Skype at which point the computer froze. Restarted it and this has been happening since then.

Unable to start Illustrator CS6 64-bit on Windows 7

I installed the CS6 Master Upgrade yesterday and almost all of the apps are working correctly. However, when I try to open Illustrator CS6 64-bit it returns this error message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." The 32-bit version works correctly. Any suggestions or similar cases? Thanks.

5) Tried to launch Illustrator CS6 (x64) and imagine that. WORKING!
To me this says that this was indeed an Adobe issue and their installer appears to be missing a file. Especially when a fix file from their website resolves the issue.
I would also just like to add that I have confirmed that this file already existed in my C:\Windows\System32 and in C:\WindowsSysWOW64 so my OS was NOT missing it as a .dll; again reiterating that it appears to make this an Adobe issue.

All files look almost as if they are in a draft mode. Doesn't matter witch file I open they all look the same. but very thing is printing out fine. Also I tried creating a test user and down loaded the trial version and it works fine.

Illustrator CS6 document just scrolls right off the screen

I have opened a previously-created document in Illustrator CS6 and the document just scrolls right off the screen. I can't select anything on it; it goes right off the screen and continues scrolling off the page

Are you using full page zoom?

The other suggestions are about increasing the minimum font size as set via the Preferences > content tab.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages if the text is too small and you need to increase it.

Illustrator CS6 16.0.4 will not start on mac 10.8.2 (jumps up and down in dock a few times loads extensions then stops), removed all adobe products with adobe creative suite cleaner, removed products from application directory. restarted, reinstalled only Illustrator CS6, then the individual patches that were manually downloaded from

My next step would of been to continue the installs of CS6 Products but Illustrator will still not start.
I understand this is a known issue with the latest update through Adobe Application manager.
Please help, it has been 3 days now we are unable to properly correct the issue after numerous uninstalls and intallations.
Addtional items tried: user is an administrator, created a new user with Admin priv and tried also not working.

You can go ahead and install the JAVA update from the Apple by going to link below:
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572
Once that is downloaded please go ahead and put the FXGfileformat.aip & launch illustrator and it should work for you.
If that doesnt work try to reset the prefrences for Illustrator.
Press and hold Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Illustrator. Your current settings are deleted.
Let me know if you need further help on this.

Please check if there are any updates pending for Suitcase fusion and Illustrator.
You can also try resetting AI preferences.

Rename Adobe Illustrator [#] Settings to old Adobe Illustrator [#] Settings
User Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator/Version[#]
Rename Version[#] to old Version[#]
Access user library Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later
Do you get any crash report. Look if it says anything for Wacom or extensis?

I am not sure. Here is a screenshot. Many people are having this problem. I am wondering what it is and what it does exactly and can't seem to find an answer to that question.
I deleted Illustrator CS6 yesterday and reloaded the program. I am on a Mac, Maverick 10.9. The strange thing is the dates. All plugins [in the file] correspond with the Illy CS6 reload except that particular Plugin?
Can I delete the file or is it a necessary plugin?

Sorry, aber das klingt unglaubhaft. Ein anderer Rechner hat genau dasselbe Problem?
Da es vorher ging, muß es mit einer Systemveränderung zu tun haben. Ich tippe mal auf Windows Updates. Das hieße dann auch, der andere Rechner hat denselben Stand, auch unglaublich bzw. unerhört, wie ich finde. Da steht Windows Update wohl "Auto" und zieht sich alles rein, was es finden kann. Kein Wunder, daß solche Probleme entstehen. Mehr als die Hälfte aller Windows Updates braucht man gar nicht, weil die Funktionen betreffen, die die meisten gar nicht nutzen.
Da hilft nur Systemwiederherstellung auf ein Datum vor dem Tag, an dem der Ärger anfing, oder die Windows Updates seit dem Tag X sukzessive zu deinstallieren, um den Schurken zu identifzieren.

You have Distiller (used by the PDF Printer) or the Acrobat Quick Launcher running in the background. Shut down the processes or terminate them in task manager.

Illustrator CS6 Tryout crashes on launch, Windows 7

I can see that there are already multiple threads on this issue, but I've tried out all the options/solutions suggested and hence, I'm posting here for help. I installed Illustrator CS6 Tryout and that crashes after about 3-5 seconds. I see a popup then asking me to register or continue trial (showing me 30 days are still left). I click on Continue Trial and nothing happens (if it were part of due process, I'd have expected the disappearing Illustrator to come back).
These are the options I have already tried:
1. Uninstalled CS6, used Adobe CC Cleaner, and reinstalled (four times so far)
2. Removed the AIPrefs file and relaunched the app
Other info that might be relevant:
1. Windows Event Viewer doesn't log anything when Illustrator goes down.
2. Photoshop CS5.1 works just fine.
3. I don't have any plugins installed (because I haven't got that far)
I'm on a Windows 7 device, with 4GB RAM, and a 2.4 Ghz i5 processor.

may turn up blank to start with, so it may be necessary to reload the page.

There is no welcome screen in CS6, it was removed.
