The schema and table are all exist .
Below is the error message from OBIEE Report:
[NOODBC][SQL_STATE:HY000][nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred.
[nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS.
[nQSError: 43093] An error occurred while processing the EXECUTE PHYSICAL statement.
[nQSError: 17001] Oracle Error code:942 message: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.
at OCI call OCIStmtExecute.
[nQSError: 17010] SQL statement preparation failed.
and there have other problem for Administrator Tool about ER model:
[nQSError: 15001] Could not load navigation space for subject area WMAdhocReportingBMM.
[nQSError: 15019] Table Region is functionally dependent upon level Region, but a more detailed child level has associated columns from that same table or a more detailed table.

Hi,
Firstly check from command prompt if you are able to get the reply from the db server using
tnsping <<connect string>>
here the connect string would be LHS part of corresponding entry in tnsnames.ora file
If you are able to get the reply ensure that the call interface u select in the rpd connection pool to be OCI 10g (or 11g whichever version of db u r using) and in the name give the above connect string.
If you are not able to get any reply it might be either network issue or improper install of sql client

Ref Solution 2: It's interesting how I cannot find the Preferences file anywhere on my mac. (new mac pro, OS 10/9.2) . . .

Description of the Problem/Question:
Here is the error message we are seeing in the extended logging on the webserver. We can replicate in our test
environment and this log is from the test region. It throws an error 500, ISAPI error to the user.
Here are the log entries from wlacess.log on cssna105. I tried to search for the root cause without any success.
At some point, some one was saying to set the KeepAlive value to off. It is recommended to set to ON in performance guide.
Ct claims, small size of the messaging is getting through and some with larger size is getting this errors.

Error Logging and notifying users regarding the errors

we are designing a workflow in which if any user comes across an error (at any branch or while executing an action) must be alerted with the error and must send a notification to the admin that the process has stalled at that particular part of the workflow due to some error.
my doubts are
1.how can we notify the admin and the initiator of the workflow regarding the error a particular user gets.i saw in adminui that there are two tabs for the admin to view the stalled actions/stalled branches.but the admin and the user needs to be notified with an alert or email that a particular action has been stalled.
i think i conveyed my problem in a correct manner.if its confusing then plz tell me coz i am already confused in this..

In the workflow which we are designing,a service request from filled by the user will be routed to the particular approver and he inturn will approve/reject the form accordingly.once he approves,the form is routed to the service provider who will fulfill the service requested and approved.
1.Now,for instance suppose that the workflow gets stalled while the form is with the approver.my question is how to notify the user that the service he requested is delayed due to the stalling of the process in between as well as the admin alerting him with the error which stalled the workflow process.
2.you said that it is easy to setup an email address within the adminui..but i dont know how to do that as i am a beginner.
3.Also u asked me to specify the errors for which we need to send alerts and email notifications...whatever error that occurs whenever the workflow gets staleld needs to be notified both to the user and the admin (as per our requirements).it would be helpful to us if u give a solution for this.

goto the path Environment -> Transact. RFC -> Source System as mentioned in the error. It will ask for source system ID & password. Enter & login. check if anything is struck over there. If so, execute it manually or press F6.
You can also check SM58 trans for tRFC in BW system. If it is in Red, execute it manually.

Is this too simple an error handler setup? Assuming non-catastrophic errors are taken care of before leaving any case in my qsm? An error is only acceptable during debugging isnt it? (unless instructed by requirements?)
I'm trying to think of ways to save some time as I've been working so much I let my test date creep up on me...

In the real world, yes. For the CLD, that is a minimum to get the points. Just throw down the Simple Error Handler to show the error dialog and you have "handled the error". If the spec does not say how to handle the error, stop the loop(s) and show the error dialog. If you are given a spec of how to handle the error, do whatever you are told.

By default, ADF validation usually displays an alert with an error message and a link to the error field.
I have some custom validations where I finally display the error message with this:

The fact structure: PK_Fact (primary key), Column A, Column B, ..*
The dimensions structure:
Dim A : PK_Dim_A (primary key), Column A1, Column A2, ..*
Dim B : PK_Dim_B (primary key), Column B1, Column B2, ..*
Dim C : PK_Dim_C (primary key), Column C1, Column C2, ..*
Dim D : PK_Dim_D (primary key), Column D1, Column D2, ..*
Dim E : PK_Dim_E (primary key), Column E1, Column E2, ..*
The fact table is connected to Dim A with PK_Dim_A and PK_Fact, to Dim B with PK_Dim_B and PK_Fact, to Dim C with PK_Dim_C and PK_Fact, to Dim D with PK_Dim_D and PK_Fact, to Dim E with PK_Dim_E and PK_Fact. The joins have been defined in the physical layer and in the business layer.

When I request column(s) from fact table and one other dimension table, everything is fine. When I request columns from fact table and more than one other dimension table, I have the following message error :

have you define the level for all the dimensions for the Logical Table Source of your Logical Fact Table? When you perfrom the consistency check (Ctrl+k) do you receive any warning or error?
