Static begins halfway into some songs, then continues every 5 seconds

I have an iPod 30 GB, and I've had it for about 2 years now. There are two songs that I have just added to my iPod, and about halfway into the songs, there is a strange static noise, and it continues every 5 seconds onward into the song. The odd thing is, it's only these two songs (I added them with a bunch of other songs, and if you were wondering what they were, the two songs were I Hate This Part - Pussycat Dolls and Love Lockdown - Kanye West) and it doesn't happen to the songs in iTunes, I've tried turning off the EQ on my iPod, and the 5R's, including restoring it, yet the problem still occurs.

I'm having exactly the same problem with I Hate This Part, other songs play fine and they all work in itunes. It even happens with a live version of the song that I found. I have exactly the same iPod, 30Gb video about 2 years old. It's driving me crazy. Even tried deleting the song and downloading from another source but it makes no difference.

Hi, tell us more about the file format of the concerned audio files.
If it is big and not much compressed, and the iPod can't buffer the whole thing in its RAM, some lags can be heared, (IE: a 30min Aiff).
Not experienced it yet on my 5thGen, but on my 10GB FW, with a ~4h Aiff.

Some songs stop playing after 60 seconds

Most of the songs on my ipod were burned thru itunes from cd's I've purchased new from retail stores, Amazon, etc. I'm having a problem where some songs stop playing after 60 seconds. It then goes on to play the next song. Can anyone out there shed any light on this for me?

Hi, the behaviour is irregular, i think the error is because some incompatibility hardware or insufficient resources, you must check the next address, there explain the correct RAC implementation on VMWARE environment, i checked that and the functionality is fine.

I've just updated OS to 10.10.1 and Finder keeps trying to open and then closes every 2 seconds with the message Finder is not Available. If Safari is opened full window it immediately closes and will only work with window smaller than maximum.

HELP Some Songs play for a few seconds then automatically finish and freeze

I have some songs that i added to my iTunes and they play fully there but when i transfer them to my ipod they play for like a minute and then they cut to the end and they freeze there please help me!! this has only happened since i got a video ipod on christmas

Some songs restart after 3-5 seconds

Anyone else have this issue? Some songs will start playing and then about 3-5 seconds in, it will restart from the beginning with no problem. I've encountered a few songs like this when using iPod on my iPhone.

This is really strange and I never heared about such an issue but in your case I would try to remove the CD/DVD drive and HDD and then try it again.
Have you external devices connected to the notebook i.e. LAN cable, mouse, keyboard or something else? If yes remove all and try it again.
In worst case you must contact an ASP and follow the link posted by Luke to find one.

Jukebox 3 pauses then continues every few minu

A Jukebox 3 that I've had for several years is suddenly getting cranky. During playback, about every fi've minutes it stops playing for anywhere from a half to .5 seconds, then continues. It doesn't lose track of position or skip to the next song, it just stops briefly. I'm wondering whether to suspect a disk problem or a controller problem. If it's a disk, I could just buy a new one, reformat, etc. If it's a controller problem then I'm probably out of luck (except for buying another on EBay). Any suggestions?

Phone cuts some songs short by almost 30 seconds

Hi,
This problem is driving me crazy and I can't seem to find a solution anywhere. For some select albums that I put on my phone it cuts the songs short by about 30 seconds each time. They are all ripped off CD's into apple lossless format, yet it only does it for some albums, not all. They play fine on my iMac and my iPod Classic but on the phone they are cut off. The weird thing is that the songs runtime that is shown when looking at the album track list is right but when you click to play it the runtime of the song is anywhere from 15-30 seconds shorter. I don't have iTunes Match, so that is not the problem at all.
Any ideas?

ITunes song starts a song then quits after 1 second

I have a single song in my play list that plays for 1 second and then quits. Any suggestions?

I went to "My Music" and deleted. I can no longer find the song on my computer. When I look at "purchased" items it's not there and when I searched My Music it's not there. When I use the "Store" menu and select "Check for Available Downloads" a dialog box appears that says "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID." I purchased the song on Dec 2012 on this account and yes I can find it in my purchase history. I have tried signing out and back into iTunes and shutting down the application and restarting. This is on a Mac btw. Not sure what else to do or what I am missing. Thanks for the replies.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Some songs re-synch every time

Every time I connect my iPod Classic to iTunes certain songs re-synch all over again. They are there on the iPod before the synch and are still there unchanged afterwards, but during the connection iTunes shows the songs being loaded onto iPod all over again. My synching is set to automatically synch selected playlists and no changes in any of the settings or playlists have been made in the intervening time.
Any idea why this happens?

J4680 goes offline then ready every few seconds tying up system resources

Please, I hope someone can help with this. I have been back and forth with tech support for SIX MONTHS and can get no satisfaction (and I try).
My J4680 wireless printer keeps turning itself offline for a few seconds, then goes back to ready a few seconds later. It slows down everything my laptop does -- email, word, excel, etc. It took months just to figure out the printer was the problem with my slow computer performance!
Long story is I tried to add this in addition to a 5510 when I switched from a desktop to a laptop with a docking station (want to be able to print when not docked).
Six months later, I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. I gave up trying to get both to work together and abandoned the 5510 a month ago. Now I just want to make the J4680 work properly. And I can't.
Has anyone heard of this?

I am using a Lenovo laptop running XP.
The router is a Linksys WRT54G
My most recent attempt at fixing this was to follow HP tech's suggestion: uninstall all software HP, uninstall the HP folder in Program Files and change the twain.dll and twain32.dll in Windows folder to twainold.dll and twain32old.dll. They had me try to do do something with the SNMP Status Enabled (which was not valid) and set the device discovery service to manual (which didn't work).
I reinstalled everything. This is the frustrating thing: It worked fine for the first day, it always does right after I install it. But once I turn off the computer and restart, the printer starts up again turning itself offline, then online, then offline. (You can watch it do this in the printers folder. I watch it often. And scream.)
Please please please, does anyone know how to fix this?

OK, the service mentioned above was related to "A generic host process for Win32 service has encountered a problem and needs to close". HP has acknowledged a driver and windows firewall issue. I am not sure if this will fix my ready/offline flickering, but may it will in your case.:
