Static Tools Logo Test fails with Microsoft In-Box driver

We are running the WHCK tests on a NVMe storage device using the Microsoft In-Box stornvme.sys device driver. The Static Tools Logo Test is included in the list of test cases to be run.
Where do we get the required DVL file for the In-box driver?
Where do we get the required DVL file for the stornvme.sys file in the HCK? Some of the NVMe specific test cases copy a different stornvme.sys file to the test PC.

The DB tools doesn't work with Microsoft SQL

I am tring to write series of waveforms to a database. The DB tools doesn't work with Microsoft SQL, but when i replace the SQL with Access, it works fine. I have to use SQL in the application.
Any advice pls?

Right off hand I would say the problem is that you are connecting through ODBC. Try the native SQL Server driver, your connect string should define the provider as "SQLOLEDB.1".

This prevents the NPE but for non-servlet endpoints you need to be sure to define your users/roles in Weblogic's default security realm. The test was failing because login was failing, most likely because the regression server wasn't fully configured.

But the mystery is that the main set of JDBC tests (outside of samples) in CTS1.4.1 are running fine.
One difference I notice is that the tests that are failing use "createManagedConnection".
The main configurations file "ts.jte" present under %TS_HOME%\bin has all the settings correct. Thats why the main JDBC tests go through fine.
I wonder where these failing tests pick up the bad "address" from.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to add Citrix LoadBalancer (NSVPX-HyperV-10.1-119.7_nc) in VMM 2012 R2 and on click of test button, only the "Retrieve-LBSystemInfo" test is failing with Error Code 21426 and exception as below. Whereas, rest of
the test are getting passed.

Your problem sounds similar to this one, except that they're using software raid rather than just pure LVM. If you're using an initrd, you may not have the appropriate modules installed. If you're not using an initrd, then the kernel probably needs LVM support compiled in (not as a module) and could be solved by fixing that. I have never used the ck-patchset, but this should give you an additional data point.
Also comment=systemd.automount will be deprecated soon as I understand it; if you have a need for automounting, x-systemd.automount should be used instead.

Can't install iTunes! Windows logo testing fail

When my iPod touch displayed this error message "apple mobile device USB driver has not passed windows logo testing" an apple genius suggested I follow the kbase ht1925 article which then escalated my issues! I cannot reinstall iTunes and I receive this message now "the software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing"
I have a windows xp, and have not had issues prior to this because I have used many apple products.
Frustrated and music less windows user.

Hmm, as long as you downloaded iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ I'm tempted to ignore the warning and install anyway.

Oracle Test Manager - Import of Manual Tests - Fails with ORA-12520:

Hi,
This issue occurs when we are trying to import manual tests into the Oracle Test Manager.
The import fails when we try to import more than 300 records. The error message in the log
is as shown below:
Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
ORA-12520: TNS:listener could not find available handler for requested type of server

No one can logon to the application after this.
According to the DBA the application is using up all the processes in the Database and hence it fails.
When we restart the application service, the number of processes in the database goes down
and the application goes back to normal state.
We keep running into this issue when we try to import >=300 manual tests. (This is not an issue
when runs are imported.)
Anybody else facing this issue? Any ideas as to how this can be resolved?

Hi,
I had some problems with. So, consider the following:
Simple XLS file :
testname     owner     testdescription               Expected Result
test1          wayne     Login into User Homepage     User can view login prompt
               View Accout Details          User can see account details
               Create simple report          User has access to reports section
               Save as pdf               .pdf generate button is available
               send email               email button is active
               log off                    User can View log off page
So we have four fields, teatname,owner,testdescription and Expected Result.
When we import a test (select Test tab, then project->import data, and select .xls file)
Make sure Select Type is set to Manual Tests
Map      testname -> TestCase ID
     owner -> Owner
     testdescription -> Test Step Action
     Expected Result -> Test step expected result
Make sure Select Type is set to Manual Tests. You should then see one test with all the steps.

ODBC installation; test fails with IM004

I'm having trouble getting an ODBC connection to a remote Oracle 8i databse. I have installed the Oracle8 ODBC Driver release 8.1.7.7.0. When I click "Test Connection" in the ODBC driver configuration window, I'm getting:
Unable to Connect
SQLState=IM004
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed.
The PC that this is occurring on is Windows 2000 Professional. From that machine, I'm able to access the Oracle database via SQL*Plus and via JDBC. I'm also able to TNSping the Oracle database.
I'm a member of the Administrator's Group. %ORACLE_HOME%\bin is in my path. It is in the system path. I have write access to the %ORACLE_HOME% directory.
I am using the Oracle 9.1 client at the recommendation of our Oracle database hosting provider. I tried to install the 9.2.0.4 driver but that resulted in an error (no more detail than that) from the Universal Installer.
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to use a version of the Oracle ODBC driver which is matched to the version of the Oracle client you have. If you have a 9.0 Oracle client, you need a 9.0.1.x Oracle ODBC driver. If you have a 9.2 Oracle client, you need a 9.2.0.x Oracle ODBC driver.

VI analyzer: Wire under object test fails with Call Library Function Nodes

Hi,
If I wire a Call Library Function Node with an ErrorIn and an ErrorOut, the VI Analyzer Test "Wire under Object" fails always with two occurrences per Call Library Function Node.
A double click to the occurrence highlights the error lines connected with the call... node.
The test does not fail, if the error lines are not connected.

This became a problem when Call Library Nodes got error terminals (and optional path terminals) in LabVIEW 8.20. I should be able to get a fix in to VI Analyzer Toolkit 2010.

Blackberry Link - fails with Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error - cannot synch/backup

With the latest version of BB Link, under WIndows 8.1, I get a persistent Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library failure, when synching contacts or when doing a regularly schedulded backup. Infrequently, the backup will complete, but it fails 95 % of the time. Worked fine on previously version of BB Link and Windows 8.0.

Well, uninstall that RadLab thing, reboot and see if PSE then works.

Simple SSL test: failing with "The certificate is not trusted ..."

WebLogic 10.3.4 on Win7.
I created a new domain and enabled SSL,with listen ports 7001 and 7002 for http and https respectively.
I deployed a trivial webapp whose main page runs in http, but it opens an iframe with https for a different page in the app.
I loaded the main page, but the iframe fails to load, giving the following error:
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
What is the easiest path to get this working?

I dont think that the Demo Certificate shall cause the issue.You can enable the SSL debug in weblogic and check what exactly is wrong,while loading the iframe window.
Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer
Moreover,you can try to add the root certificate to your IE browser and check it
Tools -> Internet options -> content ->Certificates ->
After your import,You can verify the same by checking it from the list and then verify by accessing it again
