Statistical forecast varies in back ground and foreground !

Hello friends,
When i generate the Statistical forecast at *product and plant* level in foreground it gives some values, then generate in background at *product and plant level* again it gives different values.Could you pl through me some lights on me.

Maybe you have different aggregation level for your foreground forecast and background job.
Please first check your 'aggregation level' setting in /sapapo/mc8e.
Or maybe you're using different forecast profiles for your foreground and backgournd.
Please check the settings in /sapapo/mc8t of the forecast activity.
Do you have "always use job profile" setting on?
You can also check the background run's result in SM37's spool file, to see on what level did it execute, and what forecast profile it used for each planning object.
You can check note 372939 to compare the results. In this note, you will have great tips on how to compare both results. Besides that, note 374681 will give you detailed information on how to have the selections when using mass processing.
Also, check the note 546079, which contains more informations on how to have Interactive and batch forecast to run equally.

Hi,
Follow below steps.
1. Goto SM36--Give Your first Job Job1, Choose Job class
2. Click on Step, give the Program name and Variant. Come back to main screen.
3. Click on start Condition then a Popup will be displayed. There click on Date/Time. below you can see Period values there choose Daily, hourly etc.
4. then Save.

The area circled in red is to wide (the width) the necklace's width is as wide as the models entire chest. And also the length of the necklace it's to long it should come down to the clevage area on the model/woman.

Statistical forecasting....Input and Output at different levels? & MAD and MAPE calculations

Team,
Couple of questions on Statistical Forecasting...
1) Is it possible to have input and output KF at different planning levels?...
2) Is there anyway to see MAD and MAPE values for each Forecast run?
Any help is appreciated....Thanks for your help...

Hi Krishna,
#1 - The Inputs and Outputs should be at the same base planning level. Output should be a Stored KF. The input can be a calculated KF.
To achieve input and output at different plan levels, you can do something like this:
I/P KF1@PL1 (stored) Output: KF3@PL2
Create a Calculated KF: KF2@PL2 with calculation like SUM(KF1@PL1) and use this as input for StatFcst
#2 - The result of Fcst run MAD cannot be seen from Excel Client yet, we will address this in near release. If you are on-premise, you can see the results in table: sap.sop.sopfnd.catalogue::SOPFCS_FORECAST_RUNTIME_INFO_TAB

Anyone having or had a problem with kernel_task running uploads in back ground and can't figure out what its doing

My iMac is running kernel_task and using a lot of upload bandwidth. I talked to isp this morning he said that I was topping out on the upload side while download was normal. He also said that it started about 3 weeks ago but I've been looking and trying to remember what I did as far as installing or changing setting and I can't figure it out, also using a magicjack on computer but tried without it and still the same and its hard to use the phone when other party only gets every other 4 or 5 words. HELP PLEASE!! driving me crazy.

You have something that is uploading data from your network, so you may have a runaway application doing this. If you quit all your running applications does the problem still exist? If so then you may have a corrupted system process.
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu. Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order. If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time (>=70,) then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.
Create a new user account with admin status, then log out of your account and log into the new account. Does the problem still exist?
Also, try basic repairs:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

Motion Menus back ground and the overlay

People, I have a motion BG in a menu... it run smooth, the problem is that I set the overlay for the buttons but it show the selected state ( the overlay) before the video is done so the DVD viewer can see whats coming.
I put the default button to "not set" already but still show the overlay from the begining of the video (motion).
Please any help.....

What code do you already have for changing the color and the number of elements? Whatever it is you need to somehow tie that to being able to control it with a slider. Would this be one slider to control both properties, or a different slider dedicated to each?

Why is Firefox freezing when clicking items in an online grocery flyer...the screen changes to gray with image in back ground and then freezes

When clicking on an item on a grocery flyer online..the item does not pop up and the browser freezes with a gray overtone.
In the iamge I clicked on the normal window on Delissio pizza and a small window shopuld have popped up with deatils on the sale of the product...instead the screed turns gray(normal)...but no popup and the browser freezes

The pop up sounds like there is an issue with a script loading in Firefox. However in order to troubleshoot the freezing try:

Restart while holding command and R keys down (two keys together).
Select the Recovery HD icon and continue.
Run Disk Utility.
When DU is running, select your hard drive on the left, the First Aid tab at the top, and click Repair Disk.
When that is completed, quit DU and restart.

/sapapo/ccr runnung in back ground giving dump when i load the result

hi Gurus,
when i run /sapapo/ccr report for storage location stoc in back ground and load the saved rerult in variant, system goes into dump when i click storage location stock on the screen, Can you please suggest what could be reason for this.

i get this error even if i run the report for single plant. after loading the result in /sapapo/ccr suppose i get the below. Now when i click storage location on the screen system shows dump.
Storage Location Stocks     9     34     0     0     34     0
Sales Order Stocks     0     0     0     0     0     0
upon seeing the dump program is terminated at the below step. This program creates parent key and when it tries to find son key system shows blank value. and the program is terminated. same program /sapapo/ccr is not giving any error in foreground
and we load and process the result for storage location stock successfully.

Field missing when running the KSB1 transaction in Back ground

Hi,
With the help of Zreport am executing the KSB1 transaction in back ground and after execution of KSb1 am retrieving the report output and am displaying.
Issue is when am running Zreport in back ground the the output of KSB1 is giving the output by hiding the last column, where as am running Zreport in foreground the output of KSB1 giving the output with out hiding last field. Please guide me why the variance is coming in output when am running the Zreport in background........ and please advise me to rectify the problem....

In background it cant be displayed if report width is more than 255 chars. Check line size.

LQ02 transaction - submiting this in back ground.

Hi All,
I want to submit the program <b>RLLQ0200</b> in background. In the selection scrren we have a parameter PA_DUNKL which takes input as D for background and H for foreground. when i give D for back ground and executing it's throwing an warning message and posting is happening perfectly. But this should not happen in back ground right.
if u people have any idea please let me know, i will reward u.
Note: In the program there was an condition which looking for a back ground and throwing this warning message. For this what i did is, i bypassed this condition. Now it's working fine. But i dont know how much correct iam?

There wont be any problem with the warning message. With warning messages also you can set the background job.

You cant download data in back ground to presentation server.
You can download to application server in back ground and later on you can access.
Use OPEN DATASET, TRANSFER etc to achieve this

Uploading XL file using call Transaction and running in back ground

Hi all,
I am updating the T-code VA01 using call TRansaction method ....
i am uploading the file is XL file for that i m using the FM ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE.
But if execute my program in the back ground This FM is giving Dump because it can not Execute in Back GRound...
Plz let me know any FM to upload data from Excel file Both from foreground and back ground....

HI...,,
When u run any program in Background, it will not have any contacts with the presentation server.... You cannot upload a presentation server file..
But u can use the Application server file...
SO first store this excel file's data in Application server using the transaction CG3Z and then use the Open data set and read dataset to upload the application server file !!!
