Statistics KM documents

I need to know how to perform statistics KM documents, which are not within iViews or pages.
Customer already has statistics pages and iViews through iViews ActivityReports type, but this is only valid for iViews and pages.
I need to know whether or not you can get statistics of documents directly, without iViews or pages

Yes there is a create security envelope in Acrobat. This is different from the envelope that using the Adobe Document Center from Acrobat creates. When using the Document Center the envelope gets created automatically and you can then forward/distribute the envelope and the attached files directly.

Acrobat has a few custom envelopes built in. However you don't need to do anything with these envelopes when using the Adobe Document Center.

The service is being offered for free till the end of the year beyond which time it will be a subscription-based service. Any documents that have been already protected will continue to be protected as long as the author of the document is a subscriber. After subscription expires or the trial account expires the documents will also expired.

Once the trial subscription expires the documents will also expire and users will not be able to access the documents.

After trial sign-up you will still be able to login to the service and view the statistics for documents that are already protected. Note that these documents will be expired and the statistics will not change.

already searched forums, didnt get satisfactory answer.

Conditions - You want to get the top 10 customers, you can use condition to get the same. done during the execution, before displayign the data. last step in the report execution.
Filters - You can filter only particular plant, customer etc. will be done before query execution, kind of starting point for qery execution.
Btree / Bit map - in addition to Venkatesh said - Bit Map is read optimized and B Tree is write optimized.
Reconstruction - used in 3.x flow. if a request got deleted by request you can retriev it. Go to reconstruction tab and select the request and do reconstruction.
Repair - I guess you are asking repair full request, if it so, it is a way to pull the data from R3. with some selection that can be defined at the info package for example you found one purchase order with some incorrect data, what you do is delete selectively the purchase order from the system and do full repail request. You can define the same at info provider level.
Document update - you change a Purchase order from Me22n, the document will get update in the r/3 backend table EKKO EKPO etc. Statistical update is from the R/3 reporting table perspective, these are LIS tables.

I want to know if it exist a way that numbers of the purchase order (me21n) created against a purchase contract appear in this.

Hello Enzo,
When you go to ME33K, give the contact number and enter
Now follow the path
Select the line item, then from the menu -> Item -> Statistics -> Release Document (Cntr + Shift + F12)
Here it will show all the purchase order which is created against that contract.
I think this is the functionality you want.
Else, you can create a small ABAP query using EKPO table and field KONNR (Agreement).

Change document log for Infotype 0033 Statistics

Dear experts,
I must log IT0033 Statistics as we do for other infotypes using report RPUAUD00. As only subtype is filled log doesn't show changes for it.
Could you help me with that? I've tried with SCU3 but as PA0033 in marked as not logged it doesn't work also.

Please check if configuration is maintained in the below SPRO path:
IMG->Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Tools->Revision->Set up change document
If infotype is not maintained, try maintaining it for :
HR documents: Infotypes to be logged - Tr Class - 'A', Infotype - '0033'
HR documents: Field group definition - Field group - '01', Field name - '*'
Now re-run the report RPUAUD00 after making changes to IT033 record.

STWAE-Change a statistics currency in sales document

I have 5 Sales Order and 4 Bills with a statistics currency and I need to change this statics currency by another.

Hi,
Document currency is the currency appearing at the header of the document under "Pricing and Statistics " tab. The field label is "Doc Currency". Hence there is no mistaking it. It can flow from the customer master , or can be manually entered in the sales order.
Condition record currency is the currency one enters at the line item level.
System will always convert the item level value into document currency value. For instance, if the line item amount is 100 USD and doc currency is INR, then condition value will be 4000 INR, if the exchange rate is 40 INR / USD. Also please note that net value of the line item and sales document will always be in document currency.

Variant configuration statistics of sales order and billing document

Is there any transaction that allow me to get statistics from the sales orders and billing document for configurable materials ? (like VA05) better if using the values of the characteristics that make up the positions of order.
Thera are any information from "Sales Information System" using LIS?

Using many infostructures before to see sales analysis.
Another solution :
In sales order (by user exit), copy characteristics in new fields in VBAP.
Then, you can use these fields in VA05 (add user exit) or new ABAP report.

Document statistical group filed will help you out to pass key figures to Info Structure.
You can check, OVRO - Statistical update group for Header
OVRP - Statistical update group for Item
In OVRP, Sales Area + Customer Statistical Group + Material Statistical Group + Document statistical group + Doc Item statistical group = Info Structure.
You can check info structure in OMO1.

Document Read Statistics

Dear all,
Are there any reports providng the statistics of when the documents were accessed by whom?
I looked at the Resource Statistics report, but there is no 'Read Date' in the parameter. Only 'Modified Date' are available.
If there is no standard report, what is the best way implement this requirement?

What version are u working on??
Actually Activity Report was available on EP6 SP9 (dont know abt SP2) but it was not active.
It was to be working from later version (as far I remember then its SP13 onwards)

hai,
can any one explain the differences between statitics update and docuement update . and please explain how these updates are happen in the lo-cockpit extraction method.and wht are the differences between v1 ,v2 and v3 updates.

Such as number of word, sentences or passive sentences? I know you can do it on Word.

I don't know other stats available.

Invoice document missing in MCSI report

Hi Friends,
This is regarding missing invoice documents in MCSI report in our production system.
it was found that two invoice document numbers for a customer were missing where as these two documents are being displayed in BW report.
I have checked in Info structure table through SQVI query and found that these invoice are not available. STAFO field in VBRK table is updated for these two invoice documents.
Can anyone tell me what is the process to analyse the issue and how to update only those two missing invoice documents in MCSI report (Infostructure).

- Doc. statistics group @ Invoice type / item category could be missing
- At the time of execution of report, these settings might not be in place i.e. these doc type / item cat- may not relevant for statistics.
The above points you have mentioned are not valid as there is no new configuration made and further this is a support project.
I hope the third point which you have mentioned as below is a valid one.
- Proper updation of info structure might not be done.
As per this message, I understood that there was no proper updation of infostructure for those two invoice document numbers. Further, to update two invoice documents in infostructures, we need to run transaction code OLI9.
Can you please comment on my below queries:
- Can the transaction be run in live system during any time?
- Is there any impact on other invoice data in infostructures?
- If the transaction is executed, all the current infostructures get updated with correct invoice data?
- What is the impact of executing Txn - MCVV. Does this transaction only simulates and gives the log on updation of invoice document? or it also adjusts/ updates any data in system?

Accounting document incorrect while reversing

All,
Please see the statistics at the bottom . This is copied and pasted from Pur Order history .
A PO created for 98000kg with unit price 1542 USD .
Then made the GR(5000000016) for 1975 kg and next GR (5000000017) for 96410 KG . Then user understood his mistake , PO shud be of 1542 price per 1000 unit .
He changed the price per unit to 1000 .
Now cancelled GR(5000000017) ie for 96410 kg and you can see the accounting which is exactly reversed (5000000113) .
Now again done GR(5000000114) for 96410kg and accounting was perfect as you can observe .
Then reversed 5000000016 ie for 1975kg and generated new document number (5000000115) and amount is not fully reversed .
After that done GR for 1975kg (5000000116) and amount credited to GR/IR was 3045.45 which was perfect as you can observe below .
Now there is a mismatch of amount which generated while reversing 5000000016.
Anybody experienced this case before ? Can anybody pls tell me the reason for this and how I can correct this ? Pls treat this as very urgent .

i'll tell u the scenario....i understood perfectly that new price should be picked up by the system but query is how it calculated it..
i have done the PVS scenario taking simple figures:
1) PO created for qty 100 , price entered in PO 100.
2) GR for qty 15, total amount came 1500.
3) GR for qty 85, total amount came 8500.
4) PO changed (OUN from 1 to 1000).
5) GR cancel qty 85 (ref step 3 doc) amount came 8500-.
6) GR for qty 85 amount came 8.50(as unit changed from 1 to 1000). till here it is perfect.
7) GR cancel qty 15 (ref step 1 doc) amount came 226.28-?
Now how this 226.28 has arrived?

Importing music back in with statistics, updated ID3 tags, etc.

Hi there,
I want to format my computer however I have over 8gb of music that I will burn to DVD and then after I have formatted import back into iTunes.
However, I was wondering if there was a way that I could keep my statistics such as Top 25 and each songs play counter? Is there a way to import this information back in?
The majority are in MP3 format if that helps.
And secondly, if I have edited the tags inside of iTunes will this information stay with the .mp3? For instance if I changed the Artist Name ...has this permanently been stored so when I import again all information will be the same as before or will I have to edit each one again?

Well....You can Use iTunes for Backing up your Music, but I do not favor this mehtod.
It works fine for music files BUT: I prefer more control and completeness over my backup process. It is also very important to note that a large limitation of using iTunes to manage the backup is that the iTunes method does not create or maintain backups of the two meta-data files (iTunes Library.itl & iTunes Music Library.xml) where your Playlists, Ratings, Play Counts, etc. are stored. See: What are the iTunes Library files?
If you are heavily invested in your Library data (Playlists, Play Counts, Ratings, Last Played, Date Added, etc.), it is crucial that you also make and archive multiple backups of your ‘iTunes Library.itl’ file.
If your music is located under one common Folder (e.g.-‘iTunes’), then it is easiest to physically copy that folder and all its sub-folders in one simple process. It can be done quickly, and incrementally – several times a day, when necessary. In the case of any data loss, just re-copy your entire (or partial) music library back to wherever it was, placing it in the main Folder that the previous iTunes expected. Along with the ‘iTunes Library.itl’ metadata file, this completes a full ‘restore’ of your music to the time of your last backup.
Use of a backup software program will greatly help. It will allow you to easily perform incremental backups of only the files that have changed. WinXP has such a facility built-in. I use a free program called FileSync ( http://www.fileware.com ). There are many out there. Some use Zipped files or proprietary formats, others use standard file formats. I like FileSync as it uses normal file formats that can be viewed/managed via any Windows program or utility.
iTunes Files to Backup (anytime you make additions or changes to the Music or Library that you want to retain)
1) All music files in their current folder structure (usually located in and under the ‘iTunes Music’ folder)
2) The Library database file: ‘iTunes Library.itl’ located in the ‘iTunes’ folder
3) The Library XML file: ‘iTunes Music Library.xml’ located in the ‘iTunes’ folder
4) Any XML playlist files created for Playlist retention
5) The two iTunes.pref files (optional)
-- C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
-- C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer Inc\iTunes.pref
6) The XML file of Ratings, Play Counts and Last Played attributes saved from the main Library and created by Otto’s SaveRatings script (also optional, but recommended):
“Download this: http://ottodestruct.com/itunes/SaveRatings.zip . It's a program, just run it like any other program. Run it on the machine where you're copying the info from BEFORE you move the files to the new machine. Click the "Save Ratings" button and it'll create a ratings.xml file. Now when you move the files, move the program and this file as well. Then after you make your new iTunes library, run it again and click the "Restore Ratings" button. Voila, all your information is back in the Library. Well, most of it anyway, it's not perfect. It'll tell you what songs it couldn't figure out though, and there's usually not very many.”
Here's a list of possible ways to copy your music files from your main iTunes computer to another storage medium for backup purposes.
1) Use an External Hard Drive to store the complete iTunes meta-data files and underlying Music Folder structure and songs from your main computer. They are quite cheap now, for their storage volume. This is my preferred main medium.
2) If you have Two Computers:
2a) Connect them through a router
2b) Connect them using a Direct (w/Mac) or Crossover (PC/PC) Ethernet cable (See: http://www.ifelix.co.uk/tech/3001.html)
2c) Connect them via a USB-to-USB Network Bridge. See: here as an example.
Copy the files and folders from one computer to the other. Use the second PC as your backup repository.
3) Burn several DVDs (at 4.7+ GBs each) with the music data files and store them safely. Re-writable ones are good for backup purposes (if your DVD drive can manage these).
4) Burn 6x more on CDs (at 700MB each) than in #3 above and store them safely in more space Re-writable ones are good for backup purposes (if your CD drive can manage these).
5) Use a larger USB Flash drive (1GB – 4+GBs) to store the files only if you have a small amount ripped music or have multiple and/or jumbo USB drives at your disposal that will fit your music library.
6) Use the Second Internal Hard Drive (if available) of your PC -- not optimum, as you really want to physically separate the storage of backups from the originals, but good as a tertiary storage device.
By keeping only one copy of your music (other than on the iPod), you are not truly 'backed-up' and are running a high risk of losing your music. Music files on just the iPod and the computer is not considered having any backup. If you cannot store your complete music files on the computer’s internal HD, then create and maintain at least two external sets (any multiple combinations of ExHDs, DVDs, CDs).
You need at least two full sets of your music, not including what is on the iPod:
-- One full set on the PC within iTunes (on internal HD or ExHD)
-- One full set on an separate external backup medium (CD/DVD/ExHD/other)
-- One (full or partial) set on the iPod
It is a good policy to backup all your important data. It is a very smart policy to back it up on more than one medium.
External hard drives now run less than $100 for 200-250GBs of storage. Very cheap backup insurance, indeed. See This Link
