Statistics on apps by spoken language

Hi,
Can you help me please, i need this badly
I need statsitcs on number of apps, sales, or anything else, by the its language (russian, english, spanish etc), and/or country of origin. I need some time series, like by years how many russian apps were uploaded/sold on itunes.
Also i cant udnerstand, if iTunes is not authorized in Russia, how can russian developers sell apps there? How it works?

What's the problem you are trying to solve? --> Basically I want my queries to use the index already created over the STATE column. and my question is if the way that (and frequency) that I'm using to collect stats will help.
Can we assume that queries and updates on the table become slower as more records are added to the table? --> Correct
Are there indexes in place on the STATE and other columns used for identifying unique rows? There is an Index over the State Column. Also there is another PK index over the WorkID column and other indexes for other columns.

Where could I see spoken language of a movie?

I am an AppleTV user and live in Switzerland. Because Switzerland has three officially spoken languages (German, French and Italian), every movie with one of this spoken languages are available for renting.
But: I am not able to filter about german-only movies. In addition, movies haven't any label about spoken language.
Therefore, I rent a french-spoken movie at saturday without any possibility to change spoken language.
My question is: Where could I see spoken language of a movie, before I rent a movie?

I checked it shortly on iTunes App on my iPad. And, it shows under section "Details" (i have to open the movie details, and scroll down to this section) the language.
BUT: If I want to rent a movie, I navigate only inside AppleTV in front of my TV screen. Why should I first go into iTunes on my iPad, search a movie on my iPad, and move than to AppleTV after?
Two devices for one task is a worse usability, isn't it? For me, that's not Apple's vision. Finally, my iPad goes out with me. But someone of my family should also watch a movie while i am out.
I think, it works as designed. So, there isn't a short solution available.

How do I localize Flash CS5.5 iOS app to one language

What method or process do I use to set an iOS app to only one language?
I recently had an iPad app written in Flash CS5.5 approved at the iTunes app store. I noticed at the iTunes store, it indicates that my app is localized in 14 different languages. I never set this up; it seems that there is a process that automatically adds several default language localizations to the ipa binary when the file is published. I tried the strings panel, used a var to set the localID, went into the SDK for flex and flash builder and deleted the locales (could not find anything similar for Flash itself), but none of this seems to prevent Flash from adding the language defaults. I have found many examples on how to localize my app for several languages, but nothing on how to set it to only one.

Well, I followed the iOS language list in iTunes thread in this forum and was able to get rid of them all. I have to say that not any single reply in the thread was exactly right. It took a combination of Saumitra Bhave's and spinlight's replies and mass of trial and error to get it all to work. Even the App loader utility came up as obsolete! I have uploaded the updated binary to Apple and am awaiting their approval. The biggest issue is the placement of and actual coding in the entitlements plist; spinlight had the right idea, but, at least in my case, was coded out a bit different. Also, it was not exactly apparent that you had to use the teminal untility to recodesign the app after tearing it apart. Thank the heavens I have a least a basic understanding of how things work on the Mac and was able to puzzle it out. If Apple approves the app and all things look good, I will follow up here with what I did. Of course, if Adobe would kill this bug with a giant can of bug spray, this crazy work around wouldn't be needed...

How to download (and use) CC apps in 2 languages?

As per this video (http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-creative-cloud/installing-multiple-languages-of-a-desktop- application/) I have installed Dreamweaver both in English and in my native language through the CC desktop app.
But the video ends up by just saying that if you install a CC app in 2 languages, it will open, by default, in the OS language. It does make no reference on how to switch languages thereafter.
So I open my theoretically bi-lingual Dreamweaver (which is my test app for this case), and language in the UI is my native language (just as indicated by the Adobe help video). So far so good.
However I cannot find anywhere in the dialogs where to change the language for the User Interface (and at least theoretically I have downloaded DW in 2 languages).
So, assuming that I have not missed a "change language" dialog box somewhere, my question is the following:
Is this the case in all apps, that you cannot switch languages even after downloading the app in both languages or it is just like this in Dreamweaver?, because if it isin all apps, what's the point in having downloaded the app in 2 languages if I can only use one and the only way to switch alnguages is uninstall + change language in CC app preferences + new install?
I know some people may wonder why do I want this multilingual use. For DW I really do not mind, but for some other apps like After Effects, I'm more comfortable in my own language, but sometimes I use templates which would only work in English and would like to avoid the uninstall-reinstall thing 3 times a week!!!

Pde42 first question is which operating system are you using? The behavior of switching languages can be different depending upon the operating system.
To switch languages you will want adjust the languages within the Creative Cloud application. You should then be able to launch the application in your desired language.

If you are really using 10.6, then only English voices are provided by Apple, and you would have to acquire the voice for another language from a 3rd party like Cepstral. If you are using 10.7, then a variety of free other language voices can be downloaded from Apple.

Publish an app in several languages

Dear all,
we have published a magazine app with dps. The content of this app is completely in English, now we would like to publish the app in other languages like Chinese or German. As far as I know, apple won´t accept an identical app, where only the language has changed. So I wonder if it is possible wiht DPS to integrate different languages in one app?

i asked the same question, well sort of, about a month ago.
in my case i have 3 scenarios:
1 app (itunes) with a single folio in 3 languages (either all visible or selectable through a flag, button, etc) not what i want.
1 app (itunes) with folios in different languages (spanish, english, portuguese) every month. which may confuse people
3 apps (itunes) each one with a single folio (spanish, english, portuguese).
and im going with option three. its the best option and you shouldnt have problems with apple because each app would live in a different store, in my case the spanish version lives in latam countries, portuguese in brazil and portugal and english in the rest of the world ;-)

Office Web Apps Server Default language.

we are using Office Web Apps Server 2013 SP1 with SharePoint 2013 SP1. All servers use English UK regional settings, all SharePoint Sites use English UK as default regional setting.
When we create a new document using Word Web App, the default proofing language defaults to En-US.
How can i configure the office web apps or SharePoint to use English-UK as default.

Cc desktop app crashs after language switch, cant be removed, cant be installed again

2nd big trouble after beeing in the c.cloud for some weeks now.. I haven't seen the Adobe.forums in all the years as a customer so often before as I did in the last weeks..
What did happen? I have swichted the language in the cc desktop app from German to English, because I need to download Photoshop in english.
During the download the app crashed. Now it is crashing immediately after launch. I can not uninstall it, the uninstaller crashs, I can not download/install a new version, this is crashing too.
System: OSX 10.9.4

..must be a bad joke, how should you access the settings if it crashs immediately..?
I have also tried these hints (exept no4), last time it helped, this time no success:

Comment to No4): removing all Adobe software, using the cleaning tool and start again is no option at all, this is too time consuming and cant be the solution just to get this little app running again. This is Windows95ish.. format your harddrive and start again.. ...come on Adobe you could do better...

**UPDATE**
Called up Adobe Tech support for a 3rd time, and this time got someone who was willing to work with me on this. Since the past two times we've used the "Install Now" option in Creative Cloud Desktop to update the application, which usually leads to failure, we tried to dump the current install and start fresh with the desktop app. Uninstalling the CC Desktop doesn't remove any of the installed programs.
Do try this alternate method we:
Uninstalled Creative Cloud Desktop application
Restarted
Downloaded and installed the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop at Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial
Once it launched it took about 20 seconds to sync up with the applications I currently have installed, but recognized they were there, and indicated there were updates!
Ran all the updates
This is why I seldom take the first "no" as an answer...
I hope that this helps someone else out.

Downloaded apps in other languages then English

I just got my iPhone 5S and some of the apps I download is in spanish and not english. Maybe 3-4 apps out of 50 is in spanish. What is wrong and how can i change it back? I have tried to delete them and download again, but doesnt work. All the apps are apps I have already downloaded on a other device.

I had same problem, i downloaded some japanesse app, so i set iphones language to english and after that I set language to my country language.. and the problem is sold.

I want to buy the number aplication. But I need chose the English language for it. I'm living at Portugal and I using Portuguese language to my Ipad. But I want english language for my Apps. How can I do that?

Just one more thing. language is associated with the ipad and not the store of the country where I did my apple id, right? Because I've done the purchase application numbers and returned because it was in Portuguese. And another thing. I'm thinking about buying the pages and often write in Portuguese. As the spell checker will work with the ipad set to English?

App Store wrong language

Hallo, my App Store is in english, but the whole Macbook Pro is in Swiss German. How I can change it.

In the itunes, everything is fine and it is in Swiss/German.
Just in the App Store is the wrong language.
In the Account Informations on the App Store is Switzerland. I have tried to change in France and then again in Switzerland, but all the times it was English.
The Problem is only with my new Macbook Pro 15".
