SQL>I guess, you must have noticed too. There is one session which gets added and removed on its own. I am getting 23 rows and than 24 ,the second last one becomes an active session but my session,Aman's,remains inactive only. The last_call_et column is also shown which according to docs,is showing time period of staying inactive. Interstingly, I couldn't make my user's status changed to Active. My best guess is that it might have become active when the call was submitted but after that it has become inactive again.I surely can be wrong but just wanted to share my thought. If you can explain the behaviour in more detail,it will be great.

  • CUCM 8.6.2 LDAP User Delete Pending LDAP Sync Status Inactive

    BE6K ver 8.6.2
Client has a user who recently got married.  They changed her account information in Active Directtory to reflect her new last name. At that point CUCM shows her as
    Delete Pending
    LDAP Sync Status Inactive
    CUC shows
    LDAP User has been deleted.
The user still exists in both CUC and CUCM and is actively takign and receiving calls.  User has VM access.
Shorrt of deleting the user in AD and recreating her, is there a way to force this to re-sync?
    Thanks
    Matt

Then that's expected to happen, for all purposes to CUCM/CUC eyes, msmith no longer exists and will be deleted, and a new user mjones now will be imported.
Depending on when the change was done and when CUCM detected this, it might take up to 48 hours maximum to delete the user
You'll need to associate everything to the new user, and also add that new user into CUC.
Or switch back her userID to the old one, and just change the surname for directory purposes.

  • CS11- BOM explosion with status inactive

When a BOM is marked as inactive( at the header level), the BOM explosion using CS11 is not possible.  The systems says there is no effective BOM. However I can pull up the same using CS03 and drill down level by level.
Is this standard SAP behaviour? Are there any settings in Customizing that will make the explosion for inactive BOM's  using CS11 possible?

    Alternative to select inactive BOM
BOM status = inactive in BOM header
    In OS31
    Create a selection ID = 09, selection priority = 1, BOM usage = 1
    OS 30
Create a BOm application copy from PP01 let us say ZP01
In which enter the selection ID = 09, what you created before
Remove all the ticks of check BOM
    Save
    That is all.
In cs11, select the application as ZP01 and you will get the BOM explosion.

  • TAB keystroke is inactive in one session, active in the other

This is a problem I've been experiencing with Tiger, but it is still present with Leopard :
for some reason, the TAB keystroke (the one above the Permanent-Maj-CAPS keystroke, on the left side of the keyboard) is inactive in one session.
On the other user session, it works just right. So it is not a "keyboard-hardware" problem (at least...).
please, help me.... Using a computer with no TAB keystroke is really upsetting...
    thanks.

Open the Speech pane of System Preferences and check whether either the speech key or the listening key has become set to tab; if so, change the setting.

  • Status "Inactive" set for maintenance plan.

    Dear all,
    while doing
    Maintenance plan-->functions-->Activate<-->Inactive-->Deactive for maintenance plan
which field and Table  we can able to get the details,Status "Inactive" set for maintenance plan.
    Required
Changed by, Changed on , Deactivated field
    Regards,
    U.Linganathan

Please refer MPLA table to OBJNR value.
Refer JCDS & JEST tables to get the Inactive Maintenance plans.
If Status I0320 is active in JEST table, then that Maintenance plan is Inactive.
Pass INACT is not equal to "X" & OBJNR = "WO*" to get all Inactive Maintenance Plans OBJNR values. Pass that in MPLA table & get WARPL value.

  • Database Status Inactive Sessions

Oracle will clean them up for you. In addition, you could terminate a session that's simply idle.

  • Connection Status INACTIVE (Oracle Dev tools EntityFramework)

    Hello,
I am using the EF ObjectContext in a C++ application (via COM) - I wrapped the context in an exposed class to COM in .NET - and once I finish with the COM object, I uninitialize COM (CoUninitialize();) and the finalizer of the wrapped class is called where I do a context.Dispose(); context = null;.
My problem is that the connection status (select username, program, machine, status FROM V$SESSION where username is not null;) is INACTIVE after disposing the context and this causes problems when the number of licenses is reached.
How can I force the connection to close?
    Thanks

ODP uses connection pooling by default; if you want to turn it off, add "pooling=false" to your connect string.
Note that this will result in slower performance as apart from having to open a hard connection every time you call con.Open, it also disables things like statement caching.

  • Global inactivity vs appl. session timeout

    Hi
We are planning to use sso for authentication . And we also have several j2ee applications which we are going to deploy. My question is this- typically how do we use global inactivity timeout with respect to application sesion timeout?? Are there any examples that I can look at?
    Thanks
    Krishna

    Hi Steffen,
The direct answer to your question is NO :).
    But:
    -  for WEB sessions, there is a possibility to set the default inactivity timeout with the global-web.xml. This applies only for the applications that haven't specified their timeout in their xml.
    -  for EJB sessions, again there is a possibility to specify the inactivity timeout via xml
If you need specific details, ask here and I or some of our other experts will fetch them for you.
    Best wishes,

  • Adapter status -inactive

    Hi
In file adapter i changed Server Details, after that i saved it and activated,
in configuration it showing status as active, but in RWB in adapter monitoring
it showing status as inactive(gray colour), pls tell me, how can i change it into green colour?

    Surya,
In which SP u are currently working in. Coz if u are in SP18 and above(I believe) there is option in RWB communication channel monitoring instead of adapter monitoring. If you have comm.channel monitoring option then there is option of making particular comm.channel active and inactive over there. Kindly make it active over there.
    Hope it helps.

  • Custom web parts in SharePoint 2013 becomes inactive when the session is idle for long time.

    Hi,
We have a search center site with custom web parts and custom master pages. When the session is inactive for long time all the custom web parts in the page doesn't work, unless we close the browser and open it. Where as this is not the case with the
OOB web parts. We are not able to identify the root cause as it works with OOB web parts and not the custom web parts. We were able to find that by increasing the session timeout of the web application we can avoid this issue. We do not want to increase the
session timeout as the OOB web part works perfectly even when the user session is idle for long time.Is there any other alternative where we can acheive the same for custom web parts when the session is idle for long time?
    Thanks,
    Saranya

    Hi Saranya,
According to your descirption, my understanding is that when the session is long time idle ,then custom web part will not work.
I suggest you check if you have enable the session in the Page Level in the web.config. By default SharePoint disable the session state.
In the web.config, you will see <page enableSessionState> tag. You can modify like below and test if it works.
    <pages enableSessionState=”true” ….. />
Here is a detailed thread for your reference:
    Use Session State in SharePoint

  • Back dated action  which is changing the status ' inactive'

    hi friends,
my requirement is as below :
i want to insert  back dated action which is changing the status as inactive ( currently he is active) .
System is not accepting to insert it and giving the message "   future action exists, check the status"
So for that first i am deleting  all future actions and inserting the current action(which is changing status) and after inserting back  all the deleted actions.
But the problem is  as per the latest records in IT0000 it is showing currently the  employee is in 'active' status(as we have inserted back the deleted records).
But i want to make him into 'inactive' status after the current action( which is changing status as inactive) is inserted.
This is my urgent requirement . an anybody respond to this immeadately.
    waiting for ur reply.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Gajesh,
The process is as follows :
    1) During Calibration of a product, depending on the technician's User decision , 3 follow up actions are created.
    2) Each follow up action has one FM associated with it, which is customised in      SPRO > Display IMG > Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Completion > Define follow-Up Action .
    3) In the first case ( first Follow up action when the inspection is successful) the first FM is triggered. In this FM we have to perform the following steps :
                                   a) Determine the Maintenance Order and the equipment.
                                   b) Incase both are available, status of equipmnt should be changed to 'A',
Maintenance Order should be changed to 'Technically completed' and
Maintenance Notification to 'Notification Completed' .
If you need further info pls let me know.
    Thanks,
    Vasuki

  • MSE NMSP status inactive after WLC 5508 HA failover

I have a customer who has a Prime Infrastructure 2.0 server and MSE 7.4 server for Context Aware Services.   The MSE also has the AeroScout Tag Engine for Tracking the AeroScout RFID tags it has deployed.    They have a WLC 5508 HA pair running version 7.4 at their main campus, and two other standalone WLC 5508s at 2 other smaller campuses.   The issue they are having is that when a failover of the WLC5508 HA pair occurs at their main campus, they lose tracking of the WiFi and AeroScout clients.   The other WLCs are not affected.
When this happens, the Prime Infrastructure show the NMSP status of the WLC5508 HA pair as inactive.   The PI gives the message that the time of the WLC is before the MSE.  But the PI, MSE, and WLCs are all synched to the same Campus NTP server, and the time shows the same time down to the second.   I can get the WLC communicating to the MSE again by removing the Assignment of the WLC to the MSE, then re-adding it to the MSE a few minutes later.
We are not sure why the WLC 5508 HA pair occasionally fails over to the standby or back to the primary.  We have not seen any cause for the HA pair failover.   Is there something we need to do to the WLC HA pair so that the NMSP still works if a failover of the WLC occurs.  The customer is planning on converting one of their other Standalone WLCs to a HA Pair also.

That is what I have been doing.  But the problem is that the I have had to do this about 3 times in the last 6 weeks.  Each time correlates with a failover of the WLC 5508 pair.   Will this have to be done each time there is a failover, or is there some setting on the WLCs, MSE, or Prime Infrastructure that can prevent  having manually to un-assign, then re-assign the WLC to the MSE.

It may not help, but you might try resetting your connection settings using the steps listed in the second message of this thread:

  • Killing inactive and disconnected sessions

    hi all
how can i kill inactive sessions from server, can someone provide me query for both selecting and killing inactive sessions.
    Thanks in advance.
    piyush

There is no valid reason for killing a session simply because it is INACTIVE. It is plain wrong. Bad DBA'ing. Silly.. Clueless.. etc.
The correct approach is to IDENTIFY the problem (e.g. too many dedicated server connections for the db platform to handle) and then the solution (e.g. using shared server).
Simply identifying and killing idle sessions? That is fighting a symptom. It is not fixing a problem.
