Status is failed when a batch is scheduled when the destination is PDF
Hi,
I have couple of batched which need's to be scheduled among those one of the batch which are ll running with PDF destination is getting the status as error so what would be the error for this.
It's an urgent task please let me know any suggestions

check FrConfig.cmd file it will point to Setenv.bat file... make sure you have correct path there. when i made changes in there it is now accepting the folders

There is a related Bug (known issue) for this. You'll have to use the hyperion service user(the user account which was used to install) to burst to a shared directory.
How about creating a hard link and adding that as an ExportFolder. (I've never tried it). It may work because FR might think that as a local folder.
When i said hard link was a referring to a link created using MKLINK command Mklink not a local folder.

The LabVIEW MB Ethernet Slave seems to fail when the MB Ethernet Master
query information simultaneously for more than 16 Coils or Discrete
Inputs.
The Modbus Application Protocol Specification (http://www.Modbus-IDA.org) state that:
1- The function code 0x01 'Read Coilsis' is designed to read from 1 to 2000 contiguous status of coils in a remote device.
2- The function code 0x02 'Read Discrete Inputs' is designed to read
from 1 to 2000 contiguous status of discrete inputs in a remote device.
To test the behaviour of the LabVIEW MB Ethernet Slave I have modified
the 'MB Ethernet Example Slave.vi' by adding more Coils and Discrete
Inputs. I have added up ONLY to 20 Coils and 20 Discrete Inputs.
By using the 'MB Ethernet Example Master.vi' the answer to the MB query
is correct for the first 16 Coils or Discrete Inputs. Starting from the
17th Coil or Discrete Input the MB Ethernet Slave doesn't give any
answer.
By shifting the start point address the answer remain correct for the first 16 Coils or Discrete Inputs.
I have tested the slave by using also a third part MB Ethernet Master and the behaviour is the same.
1) There is a reason for this behaviour?
2) There is a Modbus Library for LabVIEW that satisfy the 'Modbus
Application Protocol Specification' managing from 1 to 2000 contiguous
status of Coils or Discrete Inputs?

I need 40 Outputs.
The first 16 work perfectly. The next 8 coils do not work, The next 8 work, The next 16 do not work,The next 8 work,The next 24 do not work And work for the last 8. Conclusion, to activate the 40 outputs, I needed 88 coils.
Because 48 coil, do nothing Can someone help me and i cant implemet the jim solution -
ISP status shows failed when I run network diagnostic.
Hello and greetings to all. I am seeking accurate solution(s) to fixing this annoying problem. While surfing the internet, web pages freezes and other internet usage software fails because of no internet activity. The temporary fix is continuing on the diagnotstic screen or assist me screen. It is becoming quite annoying to applying this method everytime. The other annoying thing is that I am also using an Iphone 5 Ipad 3 and Mac air, these devices works absolutely fine. So I did some research and found out it was just occuring with my back and the diagnosis is ISP failed. I am running maverick and I do not have IP6v nor bluetooth enabled, my router is the preferred network. This issue only happens wirelessly and not through LAN hook up. Any help will be grateful to ease my agitation with this issue. For some reason I think it is the internet company router which is an Arris and the security is WPA. It is a German internet company, I dont speak deutsch, so a trip to the Apple store is pointless. Maybe I should have moved to Spain, regardless I move back to the US this month but do not have the patience to wait upon my relocation to resolve this issue. Thank you
V/RYour ISP is your Internet Service Provider, the company you use to connect to the Net. If this is only happening when you are connectiing to your internet router by WiFi signal and not happening when you use a network cable from your Mac to your router then it has nothing to do with your ISP and you connection to the NET as a whole.
It is a problem with your Mac connecting abd staying connected to your router when you use WiFi. This could be the WiFi card in your Mac, the energy saver setting in your Mac (it might be putting the Wifi card in your Mac to sleep or limiting power to it) or the antenna that is connect to the WiFi card in your Mac. How to properly diagnosis this problem is difficult but I would start with turning off alll power management features on the WiFi card so it never goes to sleep or has it's power limited. -

OdiSendMail fails when the session is restarted

I am having a peculiar problem. I use a variable to store the IP address for the SMTP host and use this variable in the ODISendMail command. Now, my package is designed in such a manner that whenever a component fails, ODI shoots off a mail. Things work fine when the a component fails for the first time during the execution of the package.The problem occurs when I restart the session and another component fails. Then ODISendMail fails with the following error:
javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: Unknown SMTP host: 62.172.212.49
How could this be when the command worked with the same parameters during the first invocation? Any help is appreciated.Hi Steph,

BBM 5 status update failed when over 100 contacts
I have found BBM 5.0.0.33 and BBM 5.0.0.55 will not update your status if you have over than 100 contacts.
This has been tested a verified by many blackberry messenger users, with different phones, and different versions of the OS.
There is no solution and almost everything has been tried, from re-installing the OS, to re-adding contacts individually etc..
The only thing to do is to delete your contacts so as the total is below or equal to 100.
I am shocked and surprised that RIM has not acknowledged this problem, nor have they fixed this in the 0.55 release.
It seems to be a trivial problem, with a magic number of 100 contacts.
If RIM is trying to prevent the servers from overloading with status update info, at least increase the limit to 200 contacts, as most people will have less than 200 contacts, but a lot have over 100.
The magic number should be 200Are you still seeing this issue with the new .57 version of BBM?

Agents failing when sent as attachments (pdf or excel) in OBIEE 11g

We have issue agents failing with following error when set up with attachment (pdf or excel only) either as Dashboard or Report. If the same agent is run as inline then the agent is working fine. OBIEE version is 11.1.1.6.0 unclustered.
[nQSError: 77006] Oracle BI Presentation Server Error: A fatal error occurred while processing the request. The server responded with: A fatal error occurred while processing the request. The server responded with: java.io.IOException: The system cannot find the path specified.
Error Codes: AGEGTYVF
Location: saw.rpc.mis.read, saw.subsystem.portal.pdf, saw.delivers.rpc.getDeviceContent, saw.rpc.server.responder, saw.rpc.server, saw.rpc.server.handleConnection, saw.rpc.server.dispatch, saw.threadpool.socketrpcserver, saw.threads
We tried logging in as user/Administrator and running the report from catalog without any error. Also strangely this is evident in only a specific environment. Not sure what is causing the issue.

If your are not able to download even smaller attachments/reports then, I would raise an SR with Oracle.

TNSLSNR is failed when the no. of process exceeds.

We received a problem like if the process or sessionsis exceeded the no. 150, then the listener got down and error has come like "TNSLSNR is failed ".
but if you kill some process and if the no. process is below 150 then again it will works fine.
That is the case when no. process or the sessons reached to 150 the listener got disbalanced. but in init.ora and spfile , the number of process is 250 and the sessions is 280. I dont know why this problem has come.
please help me.

HPUX Error: 23: File table overflowRefer to the metalink note provided above by oradba and fix the underlying OS error. First fix the root cause of the error which is the OS error "File table overflow". Once you do that, try again and post errors if still you have issues.

I checked with IE browser(on windows and MAC) and MAC safari packet capture. The CA certificate list is sent by server in 2 messages as the list is too big. I compared packet by packet exchanges in both the browsers. It is same till TLSv1 handshake is done for the ldap certificate authentication. It works fine in IE without any issues though the certificate list is divided into 2 messages.
In case of safari, after the TLSv1 handshake is done successfully, it again sends a SSLv3 'Client Hello' message and initiates the whole handshake process again and the server responds to it too till the handshake is complete. But it brakes after that with the server showing 'Cant establish secure connection' at the browser.
The issue occurs only in case of MAC safari for big list of CA certs >150(where it crosses the max limit) from server. It is not clear why safari alone is switching from TLSv1 to SSLv3 in this scenario.
NOTE: With shorter list of CA certs at server when it goes in one message, safari works fine and all messages are only TLSv1 and does not repeat the handshake process.
I have checked on safari version 5 and 6.0.3 on OS X mountain lion.

Why does the DLL function executed by call library node fail when the Vi is re-opened?
Development System
OS: Windows XP
LabVIEW: version 10.0
DLL: Custom
Compiler: Visual C++ 6.0
Function Prototype: __declspec(dllexport) const char * test(void)
We have developed a DLL for use. The DLL compiles cleanly. The DLL includes a function test. The test function validates the functional capabilities of the DLL. I have followed the examples online, and I have used the import shared library tool in LabVIEW. The VIs created use the call library node.
When I create a VI calling the test function from the custom DLL using the call library node the VI executes the DLL function test flawlessly. I close the VI. When I re-open the VI and run it, I get an error code from the DLL. However, if I go to the block diagram and set the path for the DLL in the configure call library node again then the VI executes the DLL function test flawlessly again.
I have to set the path for the DLL in the configure call library node every time I open the VI. The examples I downloaded from the community do not require this. What might the DLL be missing? What am I missing?

Go to Solution.I think it was rather unfair of me to ask for help with my DLL issue without disclosing more detailed information. As a corrective action, I have attached a zipped file. The zipped file contains the entire VC++ 6.0 project for compiling the DLL, the DLL, and the VI I have been using to test it.

As a prerequisite to compilation and usage of the DLL you'll need to have installed Python 26 on your system.
You may obtain the MSI for correct version of Python from the following location:

Csv upload fails when the header contains colon (:)

There seem to be a problem with the csv upload to the database tables. If the column header of the csv file contains colon the process fails.

Thanks! The APEX version is 2.0. I have developed an application where I uploading models and their features from the csv file. The csv file headers are models names, feature names etc and the rows are models and their corresponding features. Some of the features(as headers) contains colons such as "3:2-pulldown compensation", a feature of TV. The upload process reads the models and features and load the feature values to the appropriate table. So you can imagine the column headers are important for the process. I wander if there is any work around.

DTEXEC does not fail when SSIS package fails
I need to run my SSIS 2012 packages through the catalog with DTEXEC. This works very well, except that if my SSIS package fails, DTEXEC does not fail. I need DTEXEC to fail, so my scheduler knows that there is an error.
I use the following command:

When I used SSIS 2008, I had no problem getting DTEXEC to fail when the packages failed.I've had the same problem, and come up with the following prototype for a SQL Script which I run in our JAMS Enterprise Scheduler. It uses SSISDB stored procedures to start the SSIS package and polls every 5 seconds to report any messages, and final
status code of the package. JAMS parameters are delimited by << >> symbols, and will need to be changed for your scheduler/batch process. I guess the script could be converted to a stored procedure. I'm also hoping it will work with SQL High
Availability groups to ensure the SSIS package runs on the server that's hosting the active database.

Service Pack Update Upgrade Status showing failed
I have SharePoint 2010 Server. I upgraded the same to SP2. In upgrade status it shows failed but once I run command
(get-spserver $env:computername).NeedsUpgrade.
It shows false. How to check if patch is successful?

From your description, my understanding is that upgrade status shows failed when you upgrade SharePoint, but when you run PowerShell Command, it shows “false”.
Have you run the SharePoint Configuration wizard again after the status shows failed, then check if it will show successful status?
As upgrade status is failed, you should check if there are some error message in your USL log.
In addition, you could check the version of SharePoint if it is upgraded to the correct version number.

Error code: 3194 when restoring.. "Secure link to iTunes store failed" when diagnostics is ran..
as mentioned in the title, I have encountered 2 errors, one is when I am trying to restore my iphone and the other when iTunes diagnotics feature is ran..
I have read the information about the diagnostics result and saw something like "connection attempt to firmware update server unsuccessful". Because of this information I have concluded that the "error code 3194" happens because iTunes itself is unable to connect to the "firmware update server".
I am using Windows 7 64-bit and iTunes is now on the latest version.
below are the things I have done so far, but to no avail:
- removed/disabled my antivirus program
- put iTunes to exception list of WIndows Firewall
- disabled windows firewall and windows defender
- re-installed iTunes and made sure that it is of the latest version (version 10.6.1)
- performed recommendation from: https://discussions.apple.com/message/17409780#17409780
- perform flush dns command using command prompt
In addition to the steps I mentioned, I also tried running the diagnostics on two other computers running on different versions on iTunes, 10.5 and 10.6.0. I also did the same steps as above on these two computers, but I am getting the "secure connection to iTunes store failed" when the diagnostics were ran.
thanks for any help that you can give.I think its weird that I experienced both the 3194 error code and "secure link to the itunes store failed" diagnostics error on three computers running on different OS (XP, vista and 7), itunes version and connectivity types (wireless and cabled). Could it be possible that there is a problem on Apple's server?
