Status.msi issue

I have a Dell computer, Windows XP and an HP 4200 series All-in-One printer. A few days ago, a Status box appeared on the screen The message said:
   The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is not available.
   Click OK to try an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'status.msi' in the box below
At the bottom of the Status box a drop down box appeared with this file:
      C:\DOCUME~1\John\LOCALS~1\Temp\7zS749F\setup\Status\status.msi
       and......
       The 2nd choice in this dropdown is the number 1
If I click the OK button with the file selected in the dropdown, I get a another box with a message:
     The path cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again or try to find the installation package 'status.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product Status.
    Under this status box is another box titled Installing, with a fill bar partially filled.
Both the computer and printer work as they should but this box can't be deleted. I have just run Norton, CCleaner, Malwarebytes and Spywareblaster. Nothing was found.
I've Googled "installation package status.msi" and found references to HP Printer software problems. Several people recommended uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software. I've done this and the Status box is gone when the software is uninstalled but reappeared when the software was reinstalled.
The one thing that I can't do when the Status box is on the screen is shut down the computer. Clicking on the Shut Down or Restart choices results in nothing happening.
Someone said to go to Microsoft site and look for a Utility Cleaner. I've looked at that but there were warnings that I could have other problems if I did that.
I hope someone can help.

Please go through the path for config or settings of status
IMG --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Define and Status Profile You can
1. Define status profile Tcode BS02
2. Assign it to sales document type
3. Allocate status profile to item categories too.
Please take the help of BASIS consultant it will be much easier while defining status profile.

Client GWI version10: setup.msi issue after implementing note 1562571

Hi,
I have installed version 10 of the client based groupware integration on a CRM 6.0 system. Up till now, we were not able to let synchronization work (screen with the options was greyed out).
I had created a message for SAP and after some exchange they advised me to implement note 1562571:Solution for ISScript.msi error. We were not having this error but as SAP had a look into our system, I followed the advise.
After implementing this note via SNOTE, I got an error (which I didn't had before!) when I tried to install the synchronization software saying that the setup.msi was not correct (taking a look into SE80 bsp appl: CRMCMP_GW_WC, the file attached is setup.exe).
Did someone had the same issue? Any help is very appreciated!

I think there is a note which can solve the msi issue , I havent implemented it .. please check Master Note - 1563898 ( this is for 7.0 EHP1 i think ) . You can look for the right note for CRM 6.0 at the service marketplace.
I have configured Groupware Int for Outlook 10 and CRM 7.0 EHP1 . Initially we were facing this error where the SAP DEFAULT profile was getting downloaded when we clicked on the Edit Sync settings. Is this what was happening with you ??
We created a new profile in GWIPROFILE and maintained the crm_ui_profile parameter with the correct business role in SU3 and now we can synchronize.
Let me know if you were able to resolve the issue with a note .

Update failed looking for Status.msi

I recently downloaded and attempted to install an update to improve USB connectivity for my C6280 All-In-One printer. The update failed because something called Status.msi could not be located.
Now, everytime I start my computer an Windows installation box pops-up still looking for Status.msi. I have to cancel it 15-20 times before it fianally stops popping up.
I tried to get help fron the HP on-line chat techs but the one I got was absolutely worthless. It was obvious he never understood what the problem was.
I am not overly endowed with in-depth computer knowledge so any sugggestions need to be on as simple a level as possible.
I am using a Dell Dimension C521 with Vista Home Premium. My printer is a Photosmart C6280 All-in-one.
At this point I would be happy to just get the installation box to quit popping up.

Insert the installation cd for your printer. Now in the CD contents, open the location setup\status, now right click on Status.msi and click on repair. It may ask you to restart the PC.
If this doesn't work, then when you get the "installation box", then click on the Browse button and locate the status.msi file on the CD in the same location, and the box shouldnt reappear.

ISE 1.3 Node AD Status updating issue

Hello,
since awhile i have the Problem with the 1st ISE node that it´s on updating.. status. (see attachment)
Between the update from 1.2 to 1.3 this issue was not seen by the System check, it occurs later.
Now i have try to leave and/or rejoin the node but dosn´t help. Also an reboot of the not have no effect.
The logs on the node and in the Microsoft AD dosn´t show anything with an issue. We see in MS AD log that this node comes with the correct credentials who i have tried the leave or join process.
Have anyone an idea to solve this Problem!?

long time ago I have post my problem, so we have now fixed it with with TAC but we have some other issues by replacing the EAP certificates fixed also.
So, we hit some BUGs that are also present in ISE 1.3 Patch 2 and would be fixed next ISE version.
By trouble shooting I have seen that when I disable the PSN service on that node which have the connecting issue, the AD connection now is OK on both nodes.
But this was not a solution for this, the realy one was on my site the FQDN entry for the sponsor portal that was pointed to this node. This field is not a requiered field and when we delete the entry the AD connectioin goes to green!
I hope you have fixied your problem also to this time.

Digital Signatures for Changing the statuses in Issue Mgmt

Has anyone put in place digital signatures for Issue
Managemnt when we change the status values in an issue.
We are looking at SAP Note 835584 - Digital signature for documents,
but that is not applicable for us as we want to initiate the digital
signature when the status profile "SLFI0001" kicks in and the status is
changed from one to the other.(eg in process to completed etc)
We have created the digital signature and the strategies, but are
looking for a place to attach this with the status profile "SLFI0001".
Is there a place we can attach the digital signature strategies to this
status profile?
Anyone has any ideas on how it can be done?

We have a document that needs to be signed by more than one individual -- and in our process we are using the Topacz signature pad to get the signature. It's similar to the one you sign at the grocery store, drug store, etc. In order to NOT have the first signature invalidated, we were told to edit the registry...and it works perfectly!

Status Bar Issue

I have iChat, Bluetooth, Timemachine, VPN, Airport, and the battery status indicator all showing in the status bar, but if I want to change something, like set my status in iChat, all of the options in the drop down from the status bar are greyed out.
I have translucent menu bar turned off, have tried both ways.
Has anyone else seen this?
Macbook 2.2Ghz, 2GB RAM, 10.5.2.

I'm sorry you're having these issues after the update! The notification bar is important to me as well, so let's try some troubleshooting. For starters, please remove the SIM card and the battery from the device for about a minute. Then, reattach and power on/retest.

Status Profile Issue

Dear all,
I have a doubt in status profile setting that, if i have 5 approal levels at SO level. 1 is created, 2.Need modifications, 3.asst manger app, 4..manager, 5.Final approved.
In this at level 1 we can make changes in SO. but SO is updted to level 3 system should not allow to change SO in VA02 and same situation for level 4 and 5 also. If in the level 2 system should allow changes in the SO.
How can make settings for my requirement. Kindly help me to solve my issue.

ORA-12514 & Listener Status Instance status Unknown issue

Operating System - Windows XP
I am using Oracle 10g version, which has two services (bit10g and ora10g) installed on it.
Service ora10g was working before upgradation of Database to 10.2.0.5.0 and it was fine.
On upgradation I was unable to start and connect using ora10g so I created another that is bit10g.
Service bit10g was working fine for quite a long time. The last I worked and connected was on thu and it was connecting with no issues.
Now when I am trying to connect to database today I am unable to connect as I am getting
ORA12514 - TNS:listener does not currently know of service.
Secondly I tried to search forums which guided me to check the Listener Status.

MSI-issue 1603 after packing Master Collection CS6 with AAME 3.1

Hello,
i can't install the costum Setup msi file, that i ceatad with the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition 3.1 if I start the Setup, the MSI close after a few seconds.
The target System is a Windows 7 64bit with SP1.
In the Logs i've created there are following issues:

I've done all the steps in the knowlegdebase, that you send. But the issue is not solved by these steps. The expected solution with the Adobe Creative Cleaner Tool has no effect.

Windows Vista Sidebar destination.msi issue

When I try to start Windows Sidebar I get popups searching for destination.msi folder.
How do I fix this?

Ok, seems like this issue appears once in a while. But you could try the following:
First, you have to open the command prompt, but with a right click "Run as Administrator".
Then navigate with the CD command to following folder: C:\progam files\windows sidebar-
Ok, now you have to type in the following:
1. regsvr32 -u sbdrop.dll (after each command approve with ENTER)
2. regsvr32 -u wlsrvc.dll
3. regsvr32 atl.dll
4. regsvr32 sbdrop.dll
5. regsvr32 wlsrvc.dll
Done that, your sidebar should work again.

Xcelsius 2008 msi issue

I see no way out of this quandary. Please provide guidance. I did have SP1 on my version of Xcelsius 2008. But when I tried to update to SP3 I kept getting the dreaded error 1706 "no source could be found for product Xcelsius 2008..." So I uninstalled the software. It will reinstall fine off of the CD upon which I stored the original download and keycode. But I cannot apply any updates without the 1706 error.
I now have Xcelsius 2008 one version below where I was yesterday! The 2008 install I have is an EXE that was downloaded and does not create or keep a msi. SP3 is also an EXE. The fix packs are zipped but do not have msi files. Perhaps SP1 was zipped but it is not longer available for download.
I have read other posts on this issue and none of them seem to work. I have uninstalled the 2008 version and tried to install SP3 and still get the same error.
The error keeps pointing me to a temp directory where I once perhaps had an installation package. It is no longer there.
Who would have thought that updating would be so kludgy.

I did look at the KB article. I cannot find anything in my registry with MediaPackagePath or MediaPackage that relates to Xcelsius. There is no msi anywhere on my machine that relates to Xcelsius.
So this is weird. I uninstalled the original version of 2008 again. Then just for fun I downloaded the TRAIL version of the program. It has the same problem. The prompt wants me to look in the temp file where I must have installed SP1 a few years ago for Xcelsius2008.msi. The trial version has XcelsiusPresent.msi and if I point to that it still barfs and says that it is not a proper installation file for the program.
So any ideas as to how to kill that pointer to the old temp directory? There must be something somewhere that is sticking around even after I uninstall...

Long awaited MSI issue.....

just wondering if msi will ever fix the logo display issue...ive got the latest bios and the logo screen enabled but the logo still doesnt show...btw im using a k7t turbo2 with award bios 3.6

I've got a feeling that there is a group of knuckleheads programming the bios because I see all sorts of alphanumeric characters (every once in a while) when going through the bios options. I really think they have a pretty big bios bug due to their writers.
