Hi all,
Trying to start coreapplication_obips1 component but I was unable to do it.

    AAfter upgrading to IOS 8.1, the activity icon on the status bar will not stop rotating. It's like the webpage never completely downloads. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for your quick response. I've tried everything you suggested and get only temporary fixes. Sometimes for a day or two, sometimes only until I use Safari for the first time. It's annoying and probably effects battery life between charges.
    You would think that it must have some effect on the battery, but oddly enough, the update to iOS 8 actually helped my battery life, in spite of all of these hinky little issues that are taking place. In my experience, the activity icon is not affecting the battery in a negative way.
    Another issue with IOS 8.1 that you may have seen is the loss of icon pictures on home pages. Again it seems to be Safari related, since app icons found in the App Store are not affected, only web based icons you personally put on home pages. I get what I call a test screen similar to what you used to get on old tv sets on every one of my personal icons.
    I know exactly what you mean. I got that as well. On a few of them, when I opened the websites using the generic test screen icons and then closed them, they changed back to the way that they should look. For the ones that did not change, I recreated the home screen shortcuts and deleted the generic looking ones - the test screen icons.
    And don't get me started on iBooks.
    For the very limited use that I make of the iBooks app, i haven't noticed any problems, but I rarely use the app. I don't read books on the iPad other than a few user guides and if they are pdf guides, they reside in more reliable and feature rich pdf apps on my iOS device.
    I wish that I had the fix for the spinning activity icon, but everything that I try, is temporary at best. IMO, this is the buggiest iOS update that I have seen, and I have been using iOS devices since iOS 3 on my first iPad. I realize that there are plenty of people that are not experiencing issues, but I have seen a number of weird things that I wish I could fix. None of my problems are major, but they are annoying.

  • Ink status pop-up indicators stopped appearing

    HP 7525 was purchased new and installed Jaunuary 2015.  It is connected to a Dell 8300 Desk Top running Windows 7, Service Pk #1, Home Premium, 64-bit.  The printer connection is hardwired via a USB connection.  On initial install all features of interest worked fine; greeting card and photo printing primarily.   In the beginning when using these apps, Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 2015 and Photoshop cc 2014 on starting the printing process a small icon popped up in the lower right corner of the screen advising ink status.  In addition, when a cartridge was near empty a window popped up to warn that a cartridge was low or empty.  The pop-up windows stopped about the end of February 2015 and have not returned.   The out-of-ink warning windows have never appeared yet.
    The starter ink cartridges have emptied, reasonably so with no such warnings.  The printer and computer ink status screens showed the ink levels were ok even when they appeared to be empty.   Replacing the ink cartridges solved the immediate problem but I am now "flying blind."  From past experience with an earlier Photosmart Inkjet a copule of years ago, I believe there is a software issue involved that needs resolving.   Can anybody advise on what troubleshooting actions are necessary with the new 7525?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @BobF2012,
    The options in the Printer Assistance, "Only show ink alerts when printing" and I "Show me ink alerts right away", dictate how you see your alerts. When you selected Show me ink alerts right away, you chose to get a prompt as soon as the ink level reaches the first warning level. You will be warned when the cartridge(s) has only 20% ink left, then again at 10%, then when depleted, or some variation of these ink levels. If you choose Only show ink alerts when printing, I believe the ink levels will appear every time you print.
    Perhaps you would rather go back to the Printer Assistant and choose Only show ink alerts when printing instead.

  • Control Center status running scheduled jobs stops when DB is shutdown

    I have scheduled jobs in the Control Center of OWB, and the status is "Running" (Green Arrow ->), but everytime we stop and start the database I have to start the schedule job again under Status.
    Is there any way to fix this so that when the database stops and restarts somebody does not have to go into the Control Center and restart the jobs that are scheduled?
    Thanks

    I'm been told that it's a bug in the current version of OWB and to fix this problem we should upgrade to 10.2.0.3.

  • Live Stream status - is it ever "stopped"

    Hi,
    We are planning an audio-only live event in a few months (end
    of November) and are building the player now.
    An issue that has come up is how to tell when the movie has
    actually stopped, ie: when I disconnect the flash media encoder. Is
    this possible with live events? All I get is "buffering".
    Our backup plan is to check if the movie is "buffering" for a
    while (say a minute" and then determine that it has stopped.

  • "stopped" status while creating pdf from AI

    Hi, my friend taught me a way (to "print" pdf) to create PDF from illustrator that could make the file size much smaller, but now my question is, it works in my macbook (ppd version 1.1) but not my desktop imac (ppd version 1.0), the printer status always jump to stopped during the process of creating the PDF, anyone got any idea why? is it because of ppd version different? where can i donwload the latest ppd version. Many Thanks.

    What is the LiveCycle version?
    Is it possible for you to share an example(somewhere on public file sharing sites)?

  • Tomcat is hanging as a stopping status when we try to stop it.

    Hi,
    We are using BOE 3.1 SP6 Patch 1. We believe that our Tomcat ( version 7.0.40 ) has a problem because we could not view BO Infoview Screen one or
    two times in every months.So we have to restart the Tomcat. If Tomcat start successfully, our BO Infoview screen can be viewed and working in success.But for most of times, when we restart Tomcat, it stays as a stopping status and not getting stopped status.
    We wonder that why Tomcat's status is stopping?
    Do you have any idea about this case?
    I have attached some of log files of Tomcat belonging to when we face this problem.

    Hi,
    Try to de register and register your queue from SXMB_ADM .
    Also, try deleting the entry in the queue by double clicking on the Queue ID in SXMB_MONI and restarting your message.

    Hi experts,
    we sent a full optimize process in order to compress an application but it never finished.
    I noticed that through BW transaction RSPC the process chain: Full optimization stops in "Collapse box" step and become red.
    so the cube were locked and can not be used. we checked through in BW TE SM50 that process is in "Running status"
    I tried to stop it through BW TE SM37 but  can not be done due its status.
    Please any idea how to stopped it and how solved full optimization issue?
    thanks

    Try cancelling it from SM50 (with core or without core). Never run Full Optimization for compression, run Light Optimization if you need to compress a cube.

  • SXMB_MONI - queue stopped

    Hi,
    I am experiencing a problem with queues. After reading  similar situation, i don't really know I to solve it.
    The problem is the next:
    Scenario: IDOC--> XI --> FTP
    When the Idoc is received in XI, there are about 15 Mappings to execute. When I have a look to the SXMB_moni I see all the mapping are stopped. The Q.Status is with the stop signal, and when I position the curson over the signal, the next text is displayed : "Queve Stopped".
    I've read several similar threads, but I can not  understand the solution.
    Could anyone explain me or give a good link in which I can hava a step by step guide of how to register the queue and/or how to solve this problem eventually.

  • Train stop icon display issue

    I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4.0
    Is there any way we can set the icons for each train stop in a programmatic way in the <af:train> component ?
    I have a custom train model class that extends TrainStopModel and provides getIcon() method.
    When I tried to use the nodeStamp option, icons are getting displayed twice ( one line below another) in a horizontal layout
    <af:train var="node" value="#{viewScope.StepTrain}" id="train">
    <f:facet name="nodeStamp">
    <af:commandNavigationItem
    text="#{node.label}"
    disabled="#{node.disabled}"
    visited="#{node.visited}
    icon="#{node.icon}"
    id="commandNavigationItem"
    />
    </f:facet>
    </af:train>
    And if I don't use the "nodeStamp", ADF is not displaying the custom icons at all.
    Component document says this component offers alert icon customization. How can we use that ( i.e how to set the status of a train stop to error, warning etc.) ?

    Hi,
    I have implemented train bar functionality with icons for each train stop using navigationPane.
    The sample can be found at: http://andrejusb.blogspot.in/2011/12/adf-train-apply-custom-train-stop-icons.html
    Check if it works for you.

    Hi Hsawwan,
    Thanks for your help. I'm totally confused of the useage of the addlnctl.sh below. See, when I type sh addlnctl.sh stop ,the system show the useage of the shell script. it's seems I need to put the listener name after sh addlnctl.sh stop. As I installed the demo in my PC, the database name known as VIS, I don't know I should put the listener name as ORACLE_VIS or VIS only. I have tired the sh addlnctl.sh stop ORACLE_VIS, the script returned the status 1 and log message in my priori update, but when I tried the sh addlnctl.sh stop VIS, the script returned the status 0 and completed fast. Could you tell me which one I should use for the addlnctl.sh ? ORACLE_VIS or VIS only?
    oravis@vostro VIS_vostro$ pwd
    /u01/oracle/ora/visdb/9.2.0/appsutil/scripts/VIS_vostro
    oravis@vostro VIS_vostro$ sh addlnctl.sh stop

  • Canon Selphy stopped working...

    Hi. My Canon Selphy 510 photo printer stopped working with my macbook. It worked before, but now stopped. I was able to connect it to my g4 tower and get it to print from there (so we know it's not a hardware or cable issue), I was also able to print directly from my camera. I also have another printer on the network that is working 100% with this mac.
    On the macbook, I uninstalled, then reinstalled the canon drivers. reboot, etc. no dice.
    Here's the problem:
    When you print, it fails. And the printer queue status goes back to Stopped. The normally lit green light blinks red just once.
    At the end of this post is a clip from the error log (I set cups to debug loglevel for this). Notice how it thinks that it's out of paper and or ink, but it's not! I even tried to print without the paper in, to force it into a REAL no-paper-state, and this didn't help.
    Let me add, the Canon Printmonitor application always just says Ready, and doesn't indicate any error state.
    Do you guys have any ideas? Could there have been a software update I installed between now and when the printer worked that broke something? Thanks.

    MacBook Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    Hi there,
    We have a Selphy 810 and I was going to test this on an Intel Mini, as I'm concerned it may be an issue with the PPC drivers on the Intel Mac, but unfortunately the power supply for the printer is missing so I cannot check this for you just yet. I'll keep on the hunt and hopefully have a reply soon.
    In the meantime, what application are you trying to print from? If its a Universal app, then you could try setting the app to open using Rosetta. This would help to identify if its an Intel issue. Also, have you tried setting the Page Setup > Format for to the Selphy rather than 'Any Printer'?

  • Webcache process in a strange status

    Hi,
    Here is my problem.
    config :
    RHEL 2.4.9
    32-bit Intel
    oracle AS 10.1.2.0.2
    when I issue :
    $ opmnctl startall
    Error
    --> Process (pid=15193)
    time out while waiting for a managed process to restart
    Log:
    .../opmn/logs/WebCache~WebCache~1
    $ opmnctl status
    ----------------------------------------------------------------+------------
    ias-component | process-type | pid | status
    ----------------------------------------------------------------+------------
    WebCache WebCache 15193 Stop
    WebCache WebCacheAdmin 15682 Stop
    My process are alive but in a "Stop" Status.
    My Webcache works (We can reach My Portal)
    But I can't start neither stop my WebCache without errors.
    When stopping it,I must also kill -9 the pid.
    Is Anybody inspired ?
    thanks
    marc

    As you can see, opmn can't stop the process because it's already down.
    (but I've got a process id and webcache runs)
