Status of FIOS deployment in Port Potomac HOA in Woodbridge, VA
I've been told by numerous people within the HOA of my community (Port Potomac in Woodbridge, VA) for the past year that FIOS would be expanded from the front of our community to the rest of it. Why it only was installed in one part initially, I haven't a clue. Anyways, it wasn't until February of this year that the HOA and Verizon (specifically Verizon South) agreed on an easement to continue installation. No one however knows where the plans are and when FIOS will be made available. I have called countless numbers/departments within Verizon, and everyone "claims" there's no way to reach whatever department would be in charge of rolling out more service. Is there anyone that can help me find out what the status is? I hate my comcast service and need to know when FIOS will be available, less I have no choice but to lock into a 2 year contract with them.
There is no way to see future FIOS buildouts. Even if there was access to that information, Verizon would be unable to comment on any future deployment due to possible changes or hold backs. EP Deployment port is usually calculated with the formula
50000 + 100 X Instance number.
Also, you can find the deployment HTTP port in the developer trace. You need to open the SAP Management Console, right click on the J2EE Dispatcher & opemn the developer trace file. Here you'll find JLaunchISetHttpPort where the port number is logged.
This is the port number that is used for deployment purpose.

Self-assigned IP, no internet connection status with FIOS?
a friend just had FIOS installed at her house and after it was set up she was able to connect to the internet. i came over later in the day to join her airport express to this WiFi network by using airport utility (she wanted to have her printer available on the network). after i tried setting it up using her macbook (it failed because the WEP key used by verizon is 64 bit and apple only supports 128 bit) and rejoined the FIOS router network we lost the internet connection. in network preferences it showed a self--assigned IP address but no internet connection status. i've tried deleting this network from the joined network list, deleted the password from keychain and then rejoining the network, putting in the password when prompted. still the same "no internet connection" status. any ideas?

My TC is a 3rd gen.
I actually had to reset to standard defaults not only once but twice. The first time I simply returned to my old profile but that only led to the same message error on the network settings (i.e. IP by default, cannot connect to the internet). Therefore the second time around I kept my profile as backup and re-created a new one plus a guest one.
The airport utility then signaled to issues remaining:
1) Internet access was cut - this I solved by simply reseting the cable modem
2) There were no DNS Servers - I simply copied the ones I had from the previous setup and it worked
I did have AppleCare....
I'm online again and I hope for good.

PS. a small tip - I made captures of all my settings in Network settings, Airport Utility and Network utility using Grab in case of ... if anything it is just handy to get back settings that your are missing when setting up a new configuration -

i have installed application server i am able to deploy a example WAR file using autodeploy tool. While i tried to package & deploy another example using delopy tool i am getting 404 error.
While i ahve installed application server in 7070 port will that be a problem.
help me out.I got the problem solved by reinstalling application server.

Error handling problem with outbound idoc status 02 and XML HTTP Port
I set up an ALE scenario to send master data out of SAP via an XML HTTP port. All goes well until the idoc receives error 02.
It looks like idocs in this error status with the use of an XML HTTP port can not be reprocessed via the standard SAP techniques. Program RBDAGAIN takes them out of the list for reprocessing (even though the connection is back up and running).
Is there any solution to still use the standard ALE error handling ?Hi Karin,
Looks like based on note 701597, you can only reprocess these idocs manually via a workitem. I qouted the relevant text below:
3. Error handling with status '02':
An HTTP IDoc in status '02' should not automatically be sent once again.
Up to now, the RBDAGAIN report was used to resend incorrect IDocs.
However, this report was adjusted and now deletes all IDocs in status 02
to be routed to a HTTP port from the list of selected IDocs. IDocs to a
HTTP port in status '02' should only be sent manually via a work item.

Could not run JSP Aplication Deployed (Wrong port number ??)
I've testing JSP aplications with Jdeveloper on Oracle9ias.
To deploy aqplication to server i only can use port 1811 , but to run JSP aplication i only can run this on port 1810, that is Enterprise Manager Servlet port.
But the examples from Portal run on port 7777, what is wrong ?? how can i define a write port to run my aplication ?? Can you help me ??

Obligatory node 'E1OILKV' missing, Not getting'12'Status fromR/3 to XI Port

I am sending the Customer Master Data from R/3 to XI. I enhanced the Idoctype OILDEB06 to ZOILDEB06. I am getting the message code status as 03. "Data sent to the Port". But if i execute the the Report RBDMOIND. It is not moving to status 12. "Despatch Ok".
I Got the error message in the tRFC as "Obligatory node 'E1OILKV' missing in the structure".
I am able to see the structure E1OILKV in the IDoc with data. But why this error is coming.
Could any one can help on this Issue.

Venkat.The Idoc is going to the Recieving End only till the General View and Company Code view. E1OILKV Segment comes under the Sales View. Since Sales view is not changed it is not capturing the Change Pointers. If Sales view is avilable in the Idoc it is not going to the XI Port. tRFC gives the error.
We checked for other Idocs Which were enhanced. Those other IDocs{example Cost center,Vendor Idocs} are going.
I tried to send the Standard Idoc OILDEB without the Enhancements. It is going to the XI Port. Once i Send the OILDEB06 With Enhancements. It gives that error.Obligatory node 'E1OILKV' missing in the structure. As i already said, I am able to see Data in this segment using the Idoc editor. But not fully moved to the Configured XI Port.

Palm Pre email problems since FIOS switched outgoing ports
My Pre is on Sprint but ever since FIOS sent the email that they were changing outgoing ports, my phone can no longer send emails, but it receives fine. Just hoping someone has advice/answer...
TISReally appreciate your assistance! My hosting people are being no help at all. I'm very familiar with "edit server list" - have been there often. It is my hosting person who tells me their logs show that none of the various emails I failed to receive on the first sending - for which I expand the headings and forwarded to him - have ever reach their server and therefore something's going wrong "out there" and they're not responsible. He even just suggested I sign up with gmail for my email service since I've been so much trouble to him. I've had an email address on my own server for ten years now - [email protected] - and don't want to change it!
I corrected the terrible instructions I got from AppleCare and reversed my incoming and outgoing server settings to audaud.com for regular email and to mail.aracnet.com SMPT for my two personal email addresses I want to send thru Aracnet. (and am paying them to forward them to the audaud.com server). However, when I just tried to reply to an email I received to [email protected] I got a warning I never saw before: (Thought I could attach a screenshot of it but can't seem to) It says "cannot send the message using the server audaud.com." Yet a few minutes later I sent an email to several of the writers for my site and it was sent. The settings were the same!
My hosting people told me to use Port 26 for sending but they refuse to tell me which port to use for INCOMING mail (using POP). Maybe the port settings are fouling me up, but why do they cause problems only part of the time? I don't use SSL.
Doesn't everyone receive via their email client "all the emails that get to the server?" Again: any directions on deleting the non-working import of the Eudora Address Book and doing it again properly with Eudora Mailbox cleaner? -
Deployment Status: Prepare Failed deployment error CRS

Follow the ATGCRSInstall.pdf and do not jump any step.
It will be better if you delete all your schema and create new schemas, and start afresh.

Can anyone there help me Please with the problem. I am trying to
communicate with the parallel port using my program which i have
attached to the message. I am running LabVIEW 7.0 Professional with
application builder. All the program does is reads and writes to the
three parallel port registers. It runs FINE!!! in my computer. But when
i built an executable (see attached) and tried running on a different
computer (with LabVIEW Runtime engine 7.0 installed) the program does
not read/write to the registers. The target PC had the parallel port in
SPP mode just like mine. I can't seem to understand whats going wrong?
Can anyone please help me if you know the right answer.

I too have a problem using "Out Port.vi", but of a diferent kind. I use this VI to control the Parallel Port which in turn controls a small circuit. I use only two data pins, DP-2 and DP-4 for this purpouse. I use LV 7.1 Professional Development version in a Windows 2000 operating system. Now, my main problem is that my code runs fine (both is development and .exe forms) in my development computer, but when I try to run the .exe version in other computers (Windows XP operating system), it asks for a "protocol file" while starting (look at the attached picture).
Now, I really have no idea what kind of a protocol file it asks for and just click "ok" and proceed to work, the most interesting part is that the code works well as I expected. So, my only problem is that it asks for a protocl file which I want to avoid. As with the application building, I do all that is required like including the sub VIs (self developed), creating an installer, enabling the port access, and creating a proper .ini fine. I also use the Out Port.vi from the AccessHW library.
I have my doubts on two fronts,
1) With the version conflict, since my development computer runs with Windows 2000 and my target computers all run with Windows XP
2) With the Out Port.vi which further contains a small VI "Output Word to Port.vi" in it and that further contains Call Library Function Node, which might call soem external files, like what my problem is.(look at the attached picture)
I don't have answers to these questions and may be my problem is in different place, but I would like to hear from anyone who could give me a helping hand. I am in a situation where I could not disclose my code.

Accessing Parallel Port Control and Status Registers with VISA and Win7x64
Hello all,
I've posted this in the I/O forum for VISA, but this main forum seems to get a lot more traffic so I'm posting here too.
Wondering if anyone has a solution for accessing the Control and Status registers on a parallel port with VISA, now that Win7 has locked down the I/O ports and In Port.vi and Out Port.vi don't work anymore. I've been looking all over for a solution and haven't found anything that will help; either the VISA solution is shown but doesn't mention if the Status and Control registers are accessible, or the solution is for a 32 bit system.
The one thing I found was under Instrument I/O>VISA>VISA Advanced, there is a group of functions called Register Access; but, when I investigate that, it seems to need an address that the detailed help describes as "VXI, VME, and GPIB-VXI" or "PXI" with no mention of Parallel Port usage, so I'm pretty much at the end of what I can figure out.
Basically what I need to do is use the data lines to send info, and watch the status lines for incoming discrete signals. Since parallel ports are half duplex, I can't have the data lines be both inputs and outputs simultaneously, which is what I need. A cheap D I/O card would be the easiest solution, but to make a long story short I'm dealing with a legacy system and that's something my higher-ups want to avoid.

I need your assistance? Verizon won't port old phone number over to my new FIOS
Need your help on resolving this issue with Verizon. I switched from COX cable. Had Verizon FIOS triple play installed at my house about 3 days ago. I signed up online for Verizon FIOS and selected a new telephone number because I was told online that my old number cannot be ported over to new FIOS.

They said that the Verizon should be able to port my old number... In my realization, I contacted Verizon customer service, but the rep said that the Verizon FIOS cannot do it because the installation is completed.
I wanted to keep my old telephone number that I had years originally with Verizon and then Cox.
Any ideas on how to get or make Verizon port over my old telephone number to my Verizon FIOS? Again, I was told by a Verizon rep or online during the sign up process that it can't be done and/or they won't do it.Need your help on resolving this issue with Verizon. I switched from COX cable. Had Verizon FIOS triple play installed at my house about 3 days ago. I signed up online for Verizon FIOS and selected a new telephone number because I was told online that my old number cannot be ported over to new FIOS.

How to query deployment status.
Hi all
I'm trying to get the list of deployments in the admin console, namely, I'm trying to get the same thing you get when you go to Domain Structure -> Deployments, the list with the status of all the deployments, I need a third party application to check their health. Either by using a java or the command line tools, is that possible?
I've tried the utilities (weblogic.Admin and weblogic.Deployer) and using the API that comes with Weblogic, but they don't seem to list the same things I get in the admin web interface. Any ideas?you can use WLST to get status of all deployed apps.
