Status of new account? Can human be reached?

I am so very frustrated and can't find a way to communicate with a human! We started our application a few months ago, finally got it signed and submitted online and the screen said we were awaiting an account review before activation. That was weeks ago! Now the screens in my portal are blank, I am logged in as "null" and I can't even begin a new application!!! Screens lock up when I try to complete a new application!
Please, PlEaSe, PLEASE would SOMEONE OUT THERE help us figure out how to activate our account and get started? We are desperate to get online with i-Tunes U but there appears to be no path inward for us and no way to communicate directly with Apple!
Any ideas??? please?

In another post it was suggested to send an email to [email protected] That might be worth a try, anyway.

  • New Account: Can't Receive

    I'm new to iMac and to this Mail feature. I set up a pop account for my own personal e-mail address, following the instructions for POP account adding. But nothing is happening. I seem to be able to send with no problem, but test messages I sent to myself from a different computer are not showing up. Nor have any other e-mails and I receive quite a few each day.
    Any ideas?

    Is there any error message showing up? Or is there just nothing happening without any error?

    Set up family sharing with everyone having their own Apple ID. Worked great but now my husband cannot update his appa as it says they were added under a different ID. His id is linked to ge main id which was the original ID.

    Applications downloaded from the App Store need to be updated using the Apple ID used to initiate the download, whether they were purchased or brought in under Family Sharing. If your husband got these apps while using a different Apple ID, he will need to sign in using that Apple ID in order to update them. See this article -

    I know this is an old post, but I'm in a similar situation. I'm going to college this fall and I would like to have my own account going into my future.  I'm under my mom's account because that is how I first started out with my ipod a few years ago.  I don't want to be under my mom's account forever so this is a reason I want a new account while still keeping all the songs I've bought over the years.

    I was asked to cretate a managerial statement with New GL accounts for managerial postins only (postings on these new accounts can not influence balances of legal Balance sheet and P&L).
    Dou you see any problem if I create those Gl accounts in the same Chart of accounts used by the legal staments (balance and P&L) and include them in a new FSV?

    Hi Naej,
    I can see two solutions to your requirement:-
    1. Create the seperate range of managerial gl accounts such that their totals comes to zero and include in FSV as non-assigned account, so will not impact your main balance sheet and P&L account.
    2. Create a new ledger for managerial account and post to the manegerial account only in these ledger in addition to the normal posting. This will clearly seperate the legal books away from the managerial books.

    The ATV does not have a browser and therefore cannot connect to any Wi-Fi network that requires logging in via a web browser.

    Particularly for your case:
    iCloud
    iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
    If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
    If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
    Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
    Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.
    If you still get prompted for your old Apple ID's password, the following article provides some additional troubleshooting steps:

  • I want to get off the plan start a new account but can't contact account owner

    My brother and I have been on the "NATIONWIDE TLK&TXT SHARE 700" plan and the account owner is a friend of our family.
    I have almost fulfilled my two year contract (it will be over in about 1 month) and we would like to upgrade to a new Iphone and put my name as the account owner (none of us had enough credit by the time we got these phones from Verizon, but now we are able to pay our bills and would like to be responsible and keep privacy).
    I've noticed that in order to accomplish AoL, curruent account owner needs to call Verizon and authorizes the account transfer, but the problem is, I haven't been able to contact her for a month(she won't answer the phone and no call back has been received...).
    So I was thinking I should just give up keeping my number and start a new contract and a plan with my brother.
    My question is, as just an account member (not owner or manger), can my brother and I get off the plan without owner's permission? She and I are not on the same plan and she actually gave me some kind of password so that I could manage some stuffs with customer service. I was actually able to cancel my mother's line from the family plan one year ago with that password , but I wonder if I could do the same thing with both my brother's and my lines without owner's permission.
    If I can do that, is there any way to keep my numbers when starting a new account without having current account owner involved since I can't reach her? 
    If I start a new account and a plan with my brother and get the phone with 2-year-contract, rather than just upgrading to an iphone (while keeping my number under the current account owner like now), how much money will I be losing? Would it be a lot?

You should call *611 or go into a Verizon store to find out.

    If you start a new Family Plan with 2 lines instead of remaining part of a Family Plan with 3(or more) lines, you could end up paying more. Not knowing what your arrangement is, though, we cannot begin to tell you how much more you would be paying.
    For example:
    700 minute Family Plan with unlimited texting for 2 lines would be $99.98/month + tax for a total of ~$50/person.
    700 minute Family Plan with unlimited texting for 3 lines would be $109.97/month + tax for a total of $37/person.
    Any add ons such as insurance, data, etc... would of course be extra. You may also have to pay a security deposit in addition if you do not have much of a credit history.

  • Can I convert a new account into my master account?

    Hi everyone, first post, thanks for taking the time to look and hopefully answer . So I just bought a new Mac Pro and was thrilled to discover I could use the ol' Migration Assistant to transfer all my crap from my Power Mac AGP. It didn't work in the initial startup process (it just spun and spun and spun - I let it go overnight and still nothing); I had to create an account on the new machine, and then run the Migration Assistant after.
    Well it worked for the most part. My problem is that I have absolutely no need for the new account I created; I just want to use the one that migrated from the old machine. Even though it's set to admin rights, I don't have certain permissions, like parental control, and can't save to the 'master desktop'. Trying to be clever I deleted the new account. It didn't seem to screw anything up, but it didn't fix the problem either. I still don't have permission for everything.
    Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks so much!

    If you still have the G4, I suggest starting over. Review http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1872713 for starters. Then, boot with the restore disk, wipe the machine, and restore the MacPro to its original status. Finish as described in the linked document.

  • Can I safely delete my Apple ID and sign up for a new account?

    Can an official Apple administrator please shed some light on this for me?
    I had previously asked if I could change my alias (which I did not choose, it was set by default for me) on my Apple ID account, but found out this was impossible. it's kind of driving me crazy, and I also hate the privacy concerns. on top of which, my subscription settings don't seem to work. I've set my preferences to subscribe me to topics i reply to or create and to email me immediately. I've tried to save my settings three times, but it never takes and i dont' get any emails.
    So, my question is: Can I delete this account and set a new one up (which will hopefully fix things), without it messing anything else this account might be tied to in the Apple/.Mac world? (eg. my product registrations, e-newsletter subscriptions, etc.)?
    Or should i just leave things be?

    I'm not official, but I'll try to "shed some light".
    Although you can't change the Alias of the account you are using, you can create a new Discussions Account, with an Alias that you prefer.
    You cannot delete your present account. Just stop using it, after you have created a new one.
    You can use all of the same info in the new account, Email address, User name, etc, just be sure to insert a new Alias of your choosing.
    But your Posts(8), Points(0), Registered Date(9/28/05), and Level(0) will not be transferred.
    In the new account, your Post Count, Points, & Level Status will all start at 0. Your Registered Date will be the date you create the new account.
    Your old account, with your previous counts & level, will still be viewable, under the old alias.
    After you quit using the old account, those posts, will be archived. What that means is, that if there are no additional responses in the Threads they reside in, the Topics will get continually pushed down on the Topics list. After a certain amount of time, maybe 1 to 3 months, the Threads will be locked, so no responses can be entered. But the Threads will not disappear.
    The Topics that you started, will show your Old Alias, in the Author field of a main forum page, but eventually, readers will have to keep going to the succeeding pages to view them.
    If someone were to do a Search:
    Restrict by Category or Forum: All Categories?
    Restrict by Date Range: All
    Restrict by Username: Your Old Alias/Name
    all of your posts, since about 11/13/05, would be found.
    To create a new account,
    Log out of Discussions. You also may have to delete the Apple Cookies in your browser preferences, but I'm not sure this is necessary. Then follow either of these instructions.
    -How Do I Create My Account?
    If you haven't signed up for an Apple ID for the Apple Store or AppleCare Support website (or forgot your old one), you can create a new account on the My Info webpage. Just click the "create one" link on the right side of the My Info page. Choose your country location and preferred language from the appropriate pop-up menus, then click Create Account. In the resulting page, enter a unique name (such as your email address) in the Apple ID field and fill in your other relevant information accordingly (fields marked with * are required). Click Continue to complete the process.
    -To register, click Login in the sidebar on the right side of the Discussions page. In the resulting page, click the "create one" link at the bottom of the page, then click "create one" in the subsequent page and follow the instructions to create an Apple ID. For more information, see the Apple ID FAQ page.

  • Account hacked, now can't get a new account set up

    a week ago, my Skype account was hacked and used for international calls.  I contacted Skype, chatted with a cust services rep and was advised to completely close down that account and create a new one.  He suggested I have the account removed from Skype, which I did, too.  
    I've been trying since then to create a new account.  I have successfully completed the screens to set up an account and each time the account has a name like "live:xxxx" where xxxx is my name.  When I log back in, this account does not work.  I've done this 3 times with 3 different emails, and cannot figure out what the actual login is.
    I thought it might be the password, so I clicked on 'forgot password' and I'm sent a token.  But when I try to use the token, I'm told it's not a valid token.
    I've tried to contact customer support and chat again, but I need a valid account to log into before I can reach the chat again.
    I've tried to find answers in the FAQ, but can't seem to find anyone with this same problem. 
    I put a note on twitter for @skype, but no one answered it.
    I use a Mac, although I don't think it's a Mac problem yet.  I can't log into the skype.com page to choose and pay for an account.
    You can sense my frustration...please advise where to go to get this fixed.

  • Mail can't finish creating new account

    I've scoured the forums for this one but so far not seen the answer...
    Upon trying to setup a new additional account in Mail 3.3 the process stops when Mail tries to verify the outgoing mail server.
    I've tried all the normal troubleshooting: deleting prefs, permissions, fix directory (Disk Warrior) you name it. I've verified that the new account settings are correct because I can get either Thunderbird, Entourage or Eudora to authenticate and work. But no matter what I try Mail will not setup a second account!
    This problem started with 10.4 and I figured with a clean install of 10.5 it would go away. Guess not. Although the OS is a clean install I did transfer settings and mailboxes from the old OS (not the app itself).
    Any ideas?

    I've had this happen to me several times and given enough time (up to 15 minutes sometimes) the setup process would always complete even if there was a problem reaching the smtp server. try waiting it out. it might be all you have to do.
