Status of the block

When you delete one member from the outline what will be status of the block?

Seems to be an interview question again. :)
If the member deleted is from a dense dimension, very obviously, your block size decreases. PAG & IND files get restrucutured
If the member deleted is from a sparse dimension-
Only those blocks get deleted where the (deleted)Sparse member is involved in forming the block(s). Other blocks remain unaltered. Index files would get restructured

Whenever i try to create record by pressing key-F6 the status of the form and block is changed. Could you please tell ,what status are the block and form are changed to, in create record event?

E.g. if there are default values - see "About default values for items in new records" in the on line help.
Also if the values are assigned to an items in triggers - Pre-Record, When-New-Record-Instance ...

Where is the blocked pop-up indicator now that the status bar is gone?

In Firefox 3, we had this:

Firefox 4 BETA, the status bar is gone. How do I easily add a blocked pop-up to the exclusion list so it will open in the future?

Thanks for your reply to this question. I believe that "show the blocked pop-up" ''was'' an option in FireFox's built-in popup blocker. As the OP mentioned, it is listed parenthetically on the [[Pop-Up Blocker Help Page|Pop-Up Blocker Help Page]]. Also, I don't run much in the way of add-ons and extensions, and no extensions were disabled when I updated this morning, but nonetheless the option seems to have disappeared. Since this problem doesn't have many "me toos," maybe it only happens under specific circumstances?

Changing the status of the sales order item based on reason for rejection

Hi All,
When a Sales order item is rejected then the status at the item level is changed as 'TECO'.When the reason for rejection is removed the status 'Teco' is reset.This status change can be achieved using the user exit 'MV45AFZZ'.But the exit does not allow re-atp calculation whenver a blocked item is release.I have use the exit 'MV45AFZB' ,through this the status change as well as re-atp calculation takes place.But the status changed(Based on reason of rejection) does not appear in the same screen.The change gets reflected only when the sakes order is saved and i open it again.
I want the status change to appear in the same screen.I am doing my code in the form 'userexit_check_vbap' of the exit 'MV45AFZB'. Please let me know if there are any user exits or BADI's available for the same(Changing the status of the sales order item based on reason for rejection ).

If you want the report you can create a separate SIS report . In that take the input field as a Reason for rejection.. and ask for the output the list of sales orders .Now when you check this user defined report you will give the reason for rejection and check what all orders got rejected on that reason for rejection.

Query to get the blocker and holder info

Hi All,
I have framed the following query to get the blocker and holder info.I intend to use this query in a auto-generated mail which executes every 15 mins
I have put an outer join on the holder because the holder query might have been executed at the time the auto mail configuration fires this query
I am not a dba and was apprehensive is there is some mistake in the logic of my query. I was also expecting to join v$sql_bind_capture using sql_hash_value and sql_address just the way in which I have joined v$sqlarea

Display the status of the production order

Hi Friends,
I have a task which should display the status of the production order.
If an order number(AUFNR) is given, it should display whether the order is available or not. Also it should display the status of the order whether it is delivered, completed, blocked etc.
Can anyone send me the code for the above task.

Notification for the Blocked Queues

Hi,
My environment is PI 7.0 and in my monitoring transaction (SXMB_MONI) getting the messages has Scheduled for Outbound Processing (The Icon is like (>) ).
I checked my SMQ2 of my XI/PI system and I can see some of the messages got blocked in the Queue. The Queue message is XBT0*******. Manually unlocked the messages and activated my Queues and refreshed the queue cleared in couple of mins.
The problem was caused by the PI**USER got locked and unlocked the user few days back.
I want to know is their any possible way to get a notification for the Scheduled for Outbound Processing messages (>).
Other then Scheduled for Outbound Processing (>) messages we can get the notifications. We can get for notification for the Red Flag, Green Flag, and White Flag). What about the Scheduled for Outbound Processing messages (>) Flag????
Give your ideas to monitor this kind of errors by notification.

Where can I see how many threads are currently running and how many threads are blocked and how many are in idle status.
Where can I see all these information and if I want to kill the blocked threads how to do that

Is there a sap delivered business object that has a method to get credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been looking at BUS2032. It does not give me a method that has the values of credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order. I now am kind of convinced that I will have to extend this object. Can anyone please tell me the steps that I will have to go through to do this. I would like to know if I should write a new function module that gets the required data from tables like VBAK and VBSTT. Should I then call the function module in a method.
Or should I use the getStatus method that BUS2032 provides and get my values from there. A little more detail to this is greatly appreciated.

I keep putting in my passcode but my iPad won't show the numbers in the blocks and consequently it won't open for me. I have tried double tapping in the numbers and then it shows the numbers in the blocks correctly but then it responds with a wrong code in red and then locks me out.
Typing in the code takes a long time which might indicate a full HD.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

we had set the vendor to blocked,
but we found when the W/H to do the Subcontract action, MB1B , movement 541, the system can't give any warrning message,
and generate the document no.
How to setup to restrict the W/H can't to do the movement for this block vendor ?

How is the process started?
If you are using a sub-contract Purchase Order then I believe that the block would occur there, when the PO is created, and the warehouse would have no authority and no paperwork authorising the transfer to the sub-con vendor. If the warehouse is simpley executing a 541 'on the fly' then there doesn't seem much control. Maybe invoicing would be a problem too as there isn't anything to invoice against!
You may have more luck doing the transfer via MIGO but there is also an OSS note (659005) in this area as MIGO isn't even prompting for the vendor!
Could be user exit time with one of your ABAPers to check the vendor status when posting a 541 is attempted.

Changing Portal Role after the status change of user status at the CRM end.

I have Portal with Java database as the default and CRM is connected to it using SSO.The database in both the case in separate.The users that are created in Portal will have a BP status in CRM sytsem.
Now my requirement is that if the status of the BP gets changed at the backend simultaneoulsy its Portal role should also gets changed.How shall i facilitate this procedure of changing the Portal Role?
Is there any RFC ,BAPi or Webservices required for this?

Hello,
Since the status has no number it will appear under statuses W/O number bottom right in status overview window.
These status will appear as additional text beside current user status. For example if user staus is BUG and status without number is DFL and sets when deletion flag is set and gets deleted when it is revoked than user status will appear as
BUG DFL -
Deletion flag set.
BUG -
When deletion flag revoked.
You have to live with it. I don't think there is a way out for that.

How to track the blocked POs in 2LIS_02_SCL extractor

Hi Gurus,
We have field ROCANCEL in 2LIS_02_SCL extractor which sets to X and R for cancelled and deleted records. On ECC side we either delete the PO (at Item level) or block the PO.
For deleted POs the ROCANCEL flag is setting to R and we are OK with this but how can we track the blocked orders?
The business requirement is to report on blocked orders too.

In Bw thre is always confusion about following Dates.
Posting Date (0PSTNG_DATE)
Schedule Line Delivery Date (0SCL_DELDAT)
Statistics Date (0STAT_DATE)
So ask Functional Consultants and Business USers and Identify the corretc Date in ECC and then Change the Mapping In UPdate Rules in BW. i.e. What date USer is wanting and accordingly we nee dtgo change the mapping in UPdate Rules in Time Char Tab in UpdateRules.
