  • Cucm replication status Off-Line

    Hello Everyone!!!
I've faced to strange issue. I have 1 publisher and 6 subscribers. After reinstalling one of subscribers, database replication status of this
subscriber shows 4.  Unified CM Database Status shows that files hosts, rhosts, sqlhosts are ok.
In Replication Server List (cdr list serv) reinstalled subscriber contain nothing. And it doesn't appear in another subscribers.
All other subscribers including publisher have database replication status 2.
Maybe anyone have idea how to solve this problem?

If the standard dbreplication stop on subscribers, then publisher, then reset all from the publisher doesn't do the job (and by the way replication will take awhile before the subscriber status turns to 2, you can see progress under utils dbreplication runtimestate), then I would suggest using clusterreset on the publisher (use Cisco documentation to see how this is done). But this is only if you see that you can't get it working for you with the standard solution.
I had similar problems not long ago after reinstalling a publisher, sometimes replication needs a bit of tough love :) After stopping replication on all subscribers, then publisher, then performing clusterreset on Publisher and tailing the log file to see when it's done (a few hours), I reset the replication and the cluster was good to go.

  • Mail in 10.7.5 suddenly off line on all my devices....HELP

    iMac (24-inch Early 2008) running OS 10.7.5
MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2010) running OS 10.7.5
iPad 2 (wifi) running iOS 6.1.3
iPad 4 (wifi) running iOS 6.1.3
Here's the problem. I have internet connection. But suddenly today all my devices are off line in Mail.
Have re-set my dsl modem multiple times.
Ran Connection Doctor and got red lights on all 4 of my mail accounts (iCloud, 2x verizon addresses, and a work email address)
Checked all the settings and as far as I can figure, the are what I have been using.
EXCEPT......when I open the EDIT OUTGOING SERVER area of the Mail preferenced for my iCloud account, it choses my work account server. I re-set and save it. But it's right back to the wrong server when I go back to check. WHAT"S UP with that??????
Anybody have any insights into this problem?
Yes, I can get my email on the individual websites, but that means signing on and off of 4 websites every 15 minutes or so. Not gonna work.
    Thanks for any suggestions.
    Signed,

    Hello Snappi,
Thank you for all the information you provided about what is going on with Mail on all your Apple Devices.  I found an article with steps that I think might help.
I recommend reviewing the article, but I found some steps that sound like they apply specifically to what you are experiencing in the section titled "Mail Connection Doctor shows one or more red dots in the account Status column>Click here if your Incoming and Outgoing email account settings are correct, but the issue persists>Click here if a 'Could not connect to this (server type) server…' message appears":
Click here if a "Could not connect to this (server type) server…" message appears
    Check for third-party firewall software
Third-party firewall software, such as Little Snitch or Symantec Norton Personal Firewall, could be blocking the necessary ports. If such software is installed, make sure the firewall is not blocking these ports:
ports 25, 465, and 587 (for sending email via SMTP)
ports 143 and 993 (if you use IMAP email)
ports 110 and 995 (if you use POP email)
If you're not sure how to enable the correct ports, try disabling the third-party firewall completely, then test for the Mail issue. Note: The Mac OS X v10.6 firewall does not interfere with ports needed to send email.
Check for Internet Service Provider port blockingYour Internet Service Provider may be blocking the SMTP ports needed to send email. You can use Apple's MobileMe service to find out if your Internet Service Provider is blocking the sending email protocol SMTP:
Open Network Utility in the Utilities folder—in Finder, choose Go > Utilities (or press Shift-Command-U).
    Click the "Port Scan" tab.
Enter "smtp.me.com" in the "Enter an Internet or IP address to scan for open ports" field.
Enable "Only test ports between _ and _", and enter 25 for both port fields.
    Click "Scan" to test.
If you do not see "Open TCP Port: 25 smtp", contact your Internet Service Provider or visit their support website for further assistance. If you do see "Open TCP Port: 25 smtp", your Internet Service Provider is not blocking the SMTP ports needed to send email. Go to the "'Trying to log in to this (email server provider name) account failed…' message or any other error message appears" section below if the email issue persists.

  • What to do with off line datafile?

    Hi,
On prod db (9.2) with still space in ts I created a new data file. (There were 5 other files here).
Realized it's named incorrectly I placed the data file immediately off line.
Currently the status is: "Needs Recovery" (db is running in arch log mode).
I'm wondering what are my options dealing with the situation?
(We don't use Oracle Managed Files option).
The db is 24/7 the ts is an index ts (12 GB).
Are there any perils of keeping the file off line for the future?
What could be done with data file off line:
    -Can I move it?
    -Resize it?
    -Rename ?
Is there a way to recover w/o placing the ts off line?
    Any suggestions are highly appreciated!
    Thx,
    Dobby

You can bring it easily online:

  • Quicktime 7.4 upgrading error: server off-line?

Hi Guys, hope someone would be able kindly to advise me on this. Yesterday I have upgraded my Quicktime to version 7.4 by downloading free version from Apple web-site (originally I had a 6.xx.xx version installed from my photo-camera software). Before the installation I’ve deleted the previous file version. The problem I’m experiencing now is that when I start the Quick Time by clicking on it, it stops (freezing) in the loading status and looks like not connecting to where it attempts to. Then if I am choosing in the menu bar to update the existing software, the following error message comes up:
A connection with the Quick Time software server could not be established. The computer may be having trouble accessing the internet or the server may be off-line”.
But my internet is surely connected and I was able to successfully update earlier program version. I’ve tried re-installing a couple of times, but nothing changes. Would it be better again to install the older version file then? Can anyone please give me a hand with this?

Hi Guys, as I can't see many responses in this forum, can someone who's using QT 7.2 with Windows please do me a huge favour and just try to go for Update Existing and let me know if it is working. Looks like I have the same issue on other machine with elder version (6.1), what appears to be really strange.

I updated to Maverick and now my outgoing gmail server states it is off line. How do I get it functioning?

    Hello there, HHLSATX.
The following Knowledge Base article provides some great recommendations for troubleshooting your issue:
OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3276
Of particular help would be the section using Connection Doctor:
    Open Mail Connection Doctor
In Mail, choose Window > Connection Doctor.
Tip: If you see a spinning gear in Mail or the Mail Connection Doctor, choose Window > Activity to learn what Mail is doing.
Collapse All Sections | Expand All Sections (Or, click to a specific topic below that lists your issue.)
The Connection Status at the top of the Mail Connection Doctor window shows a red dot () and "Mail was unable to connect to the Internet."
Mail Connection Doctor shows all green dots () in the Status column
Mail Connection Doctor shows one or more red dots () in the account Status column
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • B110 wireless printer - keeps going off line in windows 8

Hi - Since supgrading to windows 8 I've had probelms with my wireless printer (B110) and the fact that it keeps going off line. I've now ried removing and re installing usng latest drivers. During installation I get the message that printer rediscovery problems detected. You Pc may not be able to track on line status changes of your printer. If you are using firewall software verify that UDP port 427 is unblocked from your printer at 192.168.2.4 to your pc.
Following windows 8 help I've gone to firewall inbound rules and triesd to enable udp port 427, without much success. On the new inbound rule wizard , I choose the port option then the udp option and then the specific port option and enter 427 . This eems to having no impact but if I'm being honest I've not much of a clue on what I'm doing.
    any help much appreciated

While I am researching your Belkin router, I would like to add that you will want to set a static IP for your printer. The green checkmark in your Printer's folder just means it is your default printer and has nothing to do with whether or not it has an IP address.  You have to go into your Wireless Menu on the front of the printer to "View Wireless Settings" or print a network configuration page at that exact moment it is not communicating.  You are not looking for "No trouble found." Sorry I wasn't more specific but you are looking for an IP address or URL like 192.168.1.5 or 10.0.0.5 etc.
Was the above document I provided any assistance?  That has very good information to help clarify the instructions I am giving up because I really want to help you but I will need a bit more information.
Here is a link to really good instructions on how to set a static IP which I think will completely resolve this problem for you.

  • Icon for on-line/off-line is missing

T-Bird sometimes falls to off-line mode and I never know it until I try to send a message, tells me I'm in off-line mode and would I like to go back online. When this happen THE ICON SHOWING ITS OFF-LINE IS MISSING. At one time it was in the L/R corner. How do I get it back?

From the menu bar select View-Toolbars and make sure the Status Bar is turned on.

I can't print wirelessly using Airport Express.  I have my HP printer connected to a USB hub, and the hub to the Airport Express, but when I select the HP from the printer list, my MacBook says the printer is "off-line" - even when it is not.  I've tried several USB connectors, and several different ports on my USB hub; same result.  I need to have the HP connected to the hub 'cause from there it's connected to our desktop Mac.

  • HP Officejet Pro 850 showing off line when it is turned on and plugged in.

Ungh, it has been weeks now and this printer has just stopped working and is showing OFFLINE.  It was plugged into the back of the computer all year and worked fine and it just stopped printing so we plugged it into the USB port at the front of the computer and it worked for a while and now no matter where we plug it in, we can see it there in the devices and printers but it is greyed out.  You can make it default no problem but it just will not print.  We have downloaded the driver off the site over and over, uinstalled it over and over, when you select a document to print you can send the print to the printer, you can see it listed there but it just does not print.  I just went to the HP site and downloaded some kind of printing wizard assisstant or something and it sent a test page to the printer and it worked but this computer for whatever reason it gives me the message every time we try and print "Printer off line" Anyone have any suggestions?  Very frustrating. Thanks! Mike

Hi Mike-lake,You may find this document helpful.  It covers a number of situations with the printer showing "offline" and walks through fixing this.  http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-2620-All-in-One-Printer-series/5357283/model/5385219/document/c04249080Please let me know if this corrects the issue for you!Jean

  • I seem to have multiple problems related or unrelated.  I cannot use Apple Mail for blueyonder and mostly for gmail as both show that the server is off line.  My pop up blocker doesn't work and I am blitzed with pop up windows on nearly every command

Firstly I am unable to use Apple mail except for hotmail, for blueyonder, gmail or Sky as the server shows as (off line) and I have no idea how to get them on line even though I tell them to go there.
My pop up blocker doesn't work and I am blitzed with advertising windows virtually on ever command I make, one seems to be impossible to unsubscribe from.
When I am in an email with a web link the web link doesn't work and I get a window saying that I must have a pop up blocker, but if I switch it off it is no different, what does work is switching the "enable Java script off", then when I get to the web site I can't use it until I switch the java script back on.
I can't do a screen shot either full or partial, when I try it changes the web site that is on screen to another.
So what have I done that might have caused problems, downloading Yosemite seemed to be the start of the problems.  Since then I have started to install Mackeeper, after checking with a family members who should know, that MacPaw is safe.  I decided that I didn't want to pay the subscription, so went through the uninstall instructions but it comes up as a pop up with considerable regularity.
My stress levels have gone through the roof with pop ups happening so regularly and not being able to use Apple mail.o can anyone help please?
