Status PO with status Held

Hello all,
I have a problem in an shopping cart after a shopping cart has been approved a PO has been generated and I see that a purchase order have a status <b>Held</b>.
One not never have in our process this status.
<b>Please explain me this status for a PO and when have this</b> ?

I have same problem but for another scenario.We have srm server 550 configured LAC . Unable to create purchase order from Bid. on the screen message shows purchase order is created with no error message appears.
While po is not appearing in backend R3.In transaction Rz20 it shows erroneous alert "Please enter storage location(SL) for po".
From menu process purchase order,on check the po it shows order is correct .When I tried to maintain SL from selection option it is not get updated ,SL remains blank.
pls advise.

The PO is not transfered to R3.
Debugging the FM BBP_PD_PO_CREATE I have obtained the next error:
"Error has ocurred in princing"
MSG ID: BBP_PD
MSG NO: 353
I'm in extended scenario.

PR from WO with status held

Hello,
Whenever i create a PR directly from work order, can i set it status HELD first? I may want to review the PR before finally saving it.
When i create PR from ME51N, i have the option to HOLD the PR before saving it. I don't get this with PR created from my work order. anyway to do this?

It is not possible to do this through the standard functionality. The PR will be "saved" and will not be put in "HOLD" status.
You would probably need to work around this by maybe creating a single step release strategy and associating the same to the PR and have this triggered automatically when the account assignment object is "ORDER". This would then give you a chance to review the same and then "Release" the PR for further processing.

Problem to repatraite the items for shopping cart status Held

In a scenario standalone I have a problem to repatriate the items for my shopping cart that have a status held.
I verify the data of item and catalog we don't have a difference for pricing product etc ......
If I repatriate item I see never data for my new shopping cart.
For other informations status for item is To be Processed.¨
Please help for this problem for all experts.

To remove action from specific workitems, you can do this in the UWL configuration file.
1) Download the configuration file (in ZIP format). Go to:
System Administration > System Configuration > Universal Worklist & Workflow > Universal Worklist Administration
Click to "Administrate Item Types and View definition".
Then download file 'com.sap.pct.srm.core'.
2) Navigate to each WI you would like to change:
- <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.srm.TS40007952"... (SC Completion)
- <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.srm.TS40007953"... (SC Approval)
- <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.srm.TS40007954"... (SC Approval)
3) Within those item types, put a new property to action reference "reject" for 'Actions' definition like below:
<Properties>
<Property name="display_order_priority" value="uwlExcludeFromPreviewDetail" />
</Properties>
4) Save and upload file again.

PO status Held in extended classic scenario

Hello SRM gurus,
         I am very new to SRM with MM background. I have a question which i think you guys might have come across earlier.
We are using version 5.5 extended classic scenario, replicated all the vendors and materials from R/3 to SRM, did all the basic configuration needed, we are able to see those vendors and materials in SRM also. here is the issue. we are trying to add an item to the shopping cart which in turn creates a PO in SRM so that it automatically replicates in R/3. But the PO status in SRM is Held and we found out that vendor is not assigned to the PO which is very clear why the PO has been held. So what could be reason the vendor is not getting assigned to the PO though we have the inforecord and source list(checked the fix indicator also)for the same material and vendor in R/3 ?
I'm sure many of u would have come across this issue. please help me out.

1) We are using Workflow without approval process
2) I checked BBP_NUM_SUSPO in SRM server. There is nothing in there. Is this the correct number range for PO? I checked OMH6 in R/3. please tell me how to sync it.
   When we try to post it after editing the PO with vendor number, we are getting Waiting for approval error though we have activated Without workflow approval process. let me know why is it showing that error?
We have another strange issue which is, We have assigned a material say M01 to a pur.group P01,Pur.org POrg1 and vendor V01 and have info record and source list, but we don't see this Pur.grp when we create the shopping cart and it defaults to some other pur.grp say AP01 which we deleted long back. can you tell me where it is picking up the deleted ones?

I had issues with that file as well when I was running ZFD and ZFS 6.5
SP2 with ZFH 7 SP1. See my thread "Bug found with ZFH7 ConsoleOne
plugins." Deleting the license snapin file or updating all components
to 7 SP1 resolves the issues.

Integration with hand held devices

Experts,
My client is looking for options where the field technicians will be able to get the notifications assigned to them in a hand held device. Can someone share any options you might have considered to enable this? If yes, I will also be keen to know other purposes we can make use of such mobile devices.

There are plenty of options. The one product mainly useful in EAM is SAP Syclo - now merged with SMP which has ready to use apps for EAM(might need custom development based on how modified ur SAP system is from standard).
SAP Work Manager(part of Syclo) is a mobile app which works with Service Orders - http://www.sap.com/pc/tech/mobile/software/lob-apps/work-manager-app/index.html
I'm not sure whether SAP Fiori has apps for this specific scneario but worth checking out.
Another option would be to go for non-SAP mobile products or developing a mobile solution suited to your business process. But then it all depends upon the requirements and the scenario and how much you are ready to invest.

SIM user is not able to login with hand held device

SIM user of particular store is not able to login with handhel device but able to login with terminal.
Please tell me whether it is configuration issue or data issue.

You can check whether password is expired or not. Is it same login details used for SIM GUI? If so, are you able to login to GUI.

CS2: Resizing with shift held down does't constrain box shape or font anymore?

Ok am using CS2 Illustrator on a Mac running system 10.5.3, all has been running fine for over 3 years.
But all of sudden I can not constrain box shapes or fonts while holding down the shift key anymore??
I've dump prefs file and restarted and still the same, I've even reinstalled CS2 Illustrator and it still the same.
Anyone have any ideas for me, as to why the holding down shift to action the constrain isn't working for me anymore?
I've spoken to Adobe support and they are saying the system I am running is not supported with CS2 Illustrator.

Sending keystrokes with keys held down

Hello,
I am trying to develop a program which will allow me to send keystrokes to another application (possibly not Java) based on a programmatically produced script. Similar to a macro program.
Ideally, I would like to be able to send keystroke combinations including periods where 1 or more keys are held down (other than normal control keys such as SHIFT and ALT). For example, I would like to be able to send keystrokes to another program to mimic this script:
KEY "a": hold down for 10 seconds, do nothing for 5 seconds, tap once.
KEY "b": do nothing for 12 seconds, tap, wait one second, tap, tap.
KEY "c": hold down for 5 seconds, pause 10, hold down for 5 seconds
Key "d": pause 5 seconds, hold down for 10 seconds, pause for 5
etc
...where each key's script is run simultaneously, ie, the 3rd second of the script will see key "a" being held down, and key "c" held down. The 12th second will see the "b" key tapped once while the "d" key was held down.
My intention is to use such a program to drive others which use the keyboard for input, but not as typed keys, but rather as buttons.
Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be done?

I needed space on my hard drive and it was suggested to clear the cache by restarting with shift held down. My Aperture library is now missing...help please!

I needed space on my hard drive (iMac- as I do photography part time, and it was suggested to clear the cache by restarting and holding down the shift key. Now most of my Aperture Library is missing and I had senior photos on there for friends....help please.
I heard that Aperture makes alias files when you are editing and that might be what is clogging up my hard drive. I really don't know.

There is nothing that SHIFT reboot does to erase files. Have you restarted normally? It's quite possible that with a full drive you can't start nor can Aperture load its library file.
I don't know who gave you that advice but it's not a viable solution for a full drive:
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

Upgrading to Leopard, won't start from Install disk?? Even with 'C' held

Hello, I'm trying to upgrade to Leopard and then Snow Leopard. My DVD drive works, as in I can read DVDs, burn discs etc. When I insert the Leopard upgrade disk (genuine, bought from Apple and already exchanged once) it asks me to restart to get to the Installer - so far so good.
But it just won't get to the Installer stage, I only get the circle wheel, no matter how long I leave it on for. The DVD makes some noise, it is being read but it doesn't boot. I have tried holding the 'C' key and selecting the disk as startup via system preferences, to no avail. I exchanged the disk at the Apple store just in case it was faulty, but I'm still having the same problem.
Is this a hardware problem? Is there any way I could get round it?

Do you know of a way to 'bypass' the restart to get straight to the Installer?
Do you have a second Mac around? You can "borrow" the optical drive in another Mac by starting it in Firewire Target Disk mode.
There are other ways, but they are pretty involved and require a bootable hard drive you are willing to erase.
And I heard that I'd have to erase my hard drive to upgrade to snow leopard directly, is this right?
No, you do not have to erase the drive.
The only thing I can think it perhaps your optical drive is going bad. I believe that drives have to meet more stringent requirements when called upon to boot from a disc than when just playing a DVD when they can skip minor errors.

BAPI to post GR based invoices in Held status

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone was aware of a BAPI that can be used to post goods receipt based invoices in SAP with a held status. I have reviewed the available BAPIs for posting MM and FI documents in SAP and can't seem to find any information on how to make the available BAPIs post an invoice with a 'HELD' status.

Once you click on print icon, data view format changed - you can easily download it to excel file.

There are standard reports ME80FN/ ME2L - By Vendor / ME2M - By Material where you can get the results by selecting the field Incomplete.

Pages is opening with a status bar and won't let me save, quit etc.

I have used force quit, restart, shutdown but everytime I open pages, the same thing happens. I really can't describe it, so I took a screen shot:
Message was edited by: dlvuyovich - here is what I see, notice the document is "untitled" because I can't save it. I also can't close it w/o using force quit.

Open with Shift held down to prevent the previous bad file openeing.
