Status Profile Issue

Dear all,
I have a doubt in status profile setting that, if i have 5 approal levels at SO level. 1 is created, 2.Need modifications, 3.asst manger app, 4..manager, 5.Final approved.
In this at level 1 we can make changes in SO. but SO is updted to level 3 system should not allow to change SO in VA02 and same situation for level 4 and 5 also. If in the level 2 system should allow changes in the SO.
How can make settings for my requirement. Kindly help me to solve my issue.

Please go through the path for config or settings of status
IMG --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Define and Status Profile You can
1. Define status profile Tcode BS02
2. Assign it to sales document type
3. Allocate status profile to item categories too.
Please take the help of BASIS consultant it will be much easier while defining status profile.

Error in RFx with user-specified status profile

Hi experts,
I am having an issue in SRM 7.0 creating status profile for RFx.
When I try to create a new RFx, I get an error screen with message "Status profile ZCCP is not allowed for "Bidding Header""
In order to configure this, I went through the steps described in SAP Library:
1- Define user-specified status profiles in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server->Cross-Industry Functions->Application Settings->User-Specified Status->Create Status Profile for User-Specified Status:
I created status profile ZCCP with the following data:
10     SUSP     Suspended     10     90     1     1
90     HABI     Abilities 10     90     1     1
and I assigned the status profile to object type "Bid Invitation Header (PS_BBP)"
2- Assign user-specified status profiles to procurement documents in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server->Cross-Industry Functions->Application Settings->User-Specified Status->Assign User-Specified Status Profiles to Purchasing Documents
I created a new entry with:
BUS2200     H Header     0     ZCCP
3- Assign user-specified status profiles for each transaction type in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Define Transaction Types
I assigned the status profile ZCCP to all relevant operation types of obj. type BUS2200.
Does anyone know where this went wrong??

You can use Status Management for records and documents. In Customizing, define the status values and the permitted sequence of these values. Users can then set these status values as attributes for records or documents.
The following Customizing steps need to be performed for Status Management:

To perform this step, choose IMG activity Customizing for Status Management -> Define Status For more information, see the online documentation for the IMG activity.
Status profile definition
To perform this step, choose IMG activity Customizing for Status Management -> Define Status Profile. For more information, see the online documentation for the IMG activity.
Status network definition
To perform this step, choose IMG activity Customizing for Status Management -> Define Status Network. For more information, see the online documentation for the IMG activity.
·         Assignment of a status profile to an element type
For element types whose elements you want to use Status Management for, assign an existing status profile to connection parameter STATE_PROFILE_ID. (The connection parameter is only offered for records and documents.)
Subsequently, users will be offered the attribute Status in the attribute maintenance dialog box whenever they edit the elements in question. Input help contains the status values that you have created.
If you want to use Status Management for the API, you require the following authorization objects: S_SRM_STAT, S_SRM_ST_P and S_SRM_ST_N.

Change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA TO PROFB

Hi Experts,
The issue we are having relates more to the fact that the code we have written is changing the item category, however the status profile has already been retrieved from configuration based on the original item category and therefore the status selection that we are getting is incorrect.
Item Category A -> Status Profile PROFA
Item Category B -> Status Profile PROFB
For example we have a line item and item category A is determined through config, this then retrieves its associated status profile PROFA. However we have then coded the system to change item category A to item category B. However the status profile still remains PROFA.
We need to find a way to change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA to PROFB.
any quick inputs from any one please......

This PRCTR field is stored in VBAP (i.e., SO line item table)

Digital Signatures for Changing the statuses in Issue Mgmt

Hi
Has anyone put in place digital signatures for Issue
Managemnt when we change the status values in an issue.
We are looking at SAP Note 835584 - Digital signature for documents,
but that is not applicable for us as we want to initiate the digital
signature when the status profile "SLFI0001" kicks in and the status is
changed from one to the other.(eg in process to completed etc)
We have created the digital signature and the strategies, but are
looking for a place to attach this with the status profile "SLFI0001".
Is there a place we can attach the digital signature strategies to this
status profile?
Anyone has any ideas on how it can be done?

We have a document that needs to be signed by more than one individual -- and in our process we are using the Topacz signature pad to get the signature. It's similar to the one you sign at the grocery store, drug store, etc. In order to NOT have the first signature invalidated, we were told to edit the registry...and it works perfectly!

User Status Profile for Outbound Delivery in EWM

Hi Gurus,
I have the following scenario. We're working with invoice before goods issue. Invoice is created upon user request on transaction /scwm/fd on option "Request Invoice + Save".
After the invoice Request is sent to ERP we need to block the possibility of deletion of the outbound delivery.
Send the request to ERP changes system status DIN on outbound delivery header. We've created a custom status profile with just one status (code BS02).
This status is set when standard "Request Invoice" is set. This works fine. On this custom status, we've marked the option for business transaction "Delete Document" as forbidden. This doesn't work. Even with our custom status active, its still possible to delete outbound delivery.
The custom status is has the "Outbound Delivery" object type allowed and its assigned to standard "/SCDL/OUT_FD_STANDARD" profile.
Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Thanks for your reply.
We've decided to implement badi "Validation for Actions" within delivery due to the lack of time to resolve the issue. This decision was based on note "1833378 - Prevent deletion of outbound delivery with invoice". This note gives you sample code for badi to check ERP billing status before deleting the document. We've adapted the code for our needs and it works great!
After your reply, i spent a little more time on user status, and found an OSS note that guides you trough some configuration steps on tcode /BOPF/CONF_UI. After applying this setting for business object /SCDL/FDO, the user status also worked fine!

Slow Broadband Connection - Likely IP Profile Issu...

Hello,
For an age I've had a rubbish broadband connection, but the hassle of call centres and engineer visits have put me off sorting it out. In August I got frustrated enough to try to get it resolved - I have a couple of work/study things that need a decent internet connection. After repeatedly trying all the troubleshooting guides and the suchlike, I finally noticed a reference to IP Profiles on the BTW performance test results.
Further research suggested my practice of turning the Home Hub 3 off when not in use has likely resulted in a fault profile being created, limiting me to 0.25Mbps. This conclusion was backed up by a relative and a friend who are BT engineers. I left the Home Hub 3 on for 30 days, but there was no improvement. I turned the hub on and off to see if it needed to reset itself, but no improvement. It has now been on for 12 days. The advice on the forum and from others seems to be that I need BTW to reset my profile as it has become set at the fault level, because I left it too long to sort out.
I have now sent an email to BT support, but the initial response suggests they are going to go through every step on the way, despite me laying out all of this. I keen to know your thoughts on if I'm in the right diagnosis area and whether there's a quicker way to get the IP Profile reset to see if that is the issue?

it is not an IP Profile issue as on ADSL2+the profile follows the connection speed automatically your problem is a banded profile caused by a number of hub disconnections /restarts you need to maintain a stable connection 24/7 for the next 3/5 days and then your noise margin will then start drop and your speed start to increase this link explains more http://forumhelp.dyndns.info/speed/speed_drop.html

Stopping PO creation using Status profile

Hi,
We are using status profile to release orders.In the case of third party item, we need to stop po creation.Even though i forbidd PO generation in status profile, po is generating for third party items.How to solve this issue?

Did you tried to control this with transaction control in BS02? Use object type VBK Sales order header and transaction control create PO.

Status Profile:
Eg
You want pricing for a certain sales order type to be checked before billing is possible. You can do this by specifying that the document automatically receives a self-defined status which prevents billing.
Actions
1. Define a status profile.
2. Assign one or more statuses to the status profile.
3. Determine for each status whether it is to be set automatically or manually when creating the document.
4. Define for the status which business functions should be suppressed or at least accompanied by a warning message.
5. Now assign the status profile to a document type or an item category, for which status management should be active.
Based on each status u can allow or restrict the documnets that would want to system to either create, give a warning, or simply ignore.

Thx for your valuable advice. I'm sorry that I have not clarified clearly.
Here the status profile is to control whether sales orders can be processed further. After reviewing the process, I found there are two issues:
1. How to prevent sales orders from transferring MRP requirements until the status profile is set as "ok".
2. How to make the status profile validate for the specific plant (B).
Background: MTO scenario. The status profile is assigned to the order type ZTA1. ZTA1 can be created against plant A, or B.
Request: Customer just reviews the orders against plant B by using status profile. In other words, Those orders cannot transfer MRP requirements when order creation. Until clicking "ok" in the status profile, the orders can automatically transfer MRP requirements.
My comments:
1. Any chances to add new business transaction in status profile? Except MRP requirements, the standard status profile can control delivery creation, etc.
2. Any better solutions to control MRP requirements transfer? Orders against plant A require MRP requirements transfer once saving orders. But, plant A & B uses the same order type, i.e. the status profile is valid for those two plants. Moreover, many orders are already created in the system.

Status Profile: Multiple Active Statuses

I have created a status profile through BS02 and assigned to a couple of Sales Document Types.
After implementing, I have found that there can be multiple active statuses. This is not a desired result.
1. Is there a way to control the profile, so that only one status CAN be active?
2. Is there a way to "fix" the orders which currently have multiple statuses?

Hi Tom,
after creating status u need to assign status to sales document.the particular status work for that sales document only.Go to VOV8 in transaction flow tab u enter ur status at status profile field and save the document.
Please do check the status how u maitained Ex.for qotation bolck,order block,delivery block... assign appropriate status to the sales document.

The Basis consultant has advised that it is a purely functional issue. How do i go about authorising the particular users to status profiles.

Hello,
Use Tcode PFCG. Enter role and click on change button. Authorizations tab.
Click on authorization data .
Expand the Cross-application Authorization Objects tree. Expand Status Management:
Set/Delete User Status using Transaction.
Authorization key button, assign Authorization key.
status profile. Assign status profile.
Maintain authorization key (authorization code) in status profile with Basis help
To add authorization code use Tcode BS52.
Also, refer Status Profile Settings

Change Status Profile

When sending a Quotation to a potential Customer we would like the User Status of the Quotation to be of such a nature that i cannot be edited (this to prevent differences of what was originally sent to the Customer and what is actually registered in the system).
If the Customer ask for a new Quotation we then use a new status (Revised Quotation).
Is there a way of configuring the User Status so that a Quotation cannot be edited while it's being reviewed by the Customer?

I gues as u want to freeze the screen as soon as a particular User Status is chosen,
If thats the case, refer to the below steps, wd help you. If not, pls revert wid the detailed requirement:
This can be done through User Status which is avavilable in the Status Profile.
For eg if you select a User Status "Won" for a transaction say Lead, the document must get freezed and no changes should be possible for the person who are nt allowed to do so.
Path for the saem: IMG-CRM-Transactions-Basic Settings-Status Management-Define Status Profile(if you wanna create a new profile, or else Copy the particular Status PRofile for that transactions and configure as per our requirements)
After Getting in the Profile, Double Click on the particular User Status wherein you need the Doc to get freezed, in the new screen click on Create and in Change Document option check the Forbidden.
This can take care of your issue, i hope.

Status Profile - Sales Order Change

Hi,
I have a issue regarding Status Profile in Sales Order.
I have a sales order with two status -
Awaiting Approval ( Initial at the time of creation of Sales Order )
Approved ( Approval by HOD after creation )
No changes has to be done in Sales Order once approved, if any changes to be done then, needs resetting of the status to initial.
How to control the same.
I have checked the transactional control in user status but change sales order control is not there.
Can be controlled through user exit then how can it be be done.... User Exit name and brief logic of possible.

You can use MV45AFZZ include to find appropriate User exit for your requirement with the help of your ABAPer.
USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT would be suitable to you.
User status are maintained at JEST table, so you can write code to activate status 1 and deactivate status 2 if sales order changed.

How to get status profile (STSMA) in user exit ILOM0001

Hi ABAPers,
I am currently working on user exit ILOM0001 (Check before saving a functional location) and need to get information about status profile (STSMA). I have checked parameters that is imported into this user exit (DATA_IFLO, DATA_IFLO_OLD, DATA_IFLOS) and none of them have STSMA.
Could anybody help me how to get this field STSMA into user exit ILOM0001?

Really appreciate your answer, but
I don't want to generate or make settlement receiver.
I was building a script in user exit IW010009,
And the issue is I can not capture the content of field settlement receiver.
If we want to capture screen field, ex. equnr, we can use structure CAUFVD,
when i see the technical detail in this field, the structure for settlement is DKOBR, field EMPGE, but i cannot call it on debug.
Kindly need your help on this issue.
