Status profile prob with VA42:change contract

Dear All,
Here i m putting the status profile during at the time of creation of contract with VA41 transaction with status CRTD after creating contract.Higher authority can change the status of contract in VA42 transaction with status REL (released).The problem is that i want that once it is in the REL status the maker of the contract can not make any changes.it should be possible only when the checker put that contract again at CRTD status.
Means i want to give the access of transaction code VA42 to both the person i.e. maker as well as checker but i want that contract should be not modifible when it is in REL status.
please suggest.

In the status profile BS02, select a row & click details tab.
then click new tab.
You will get Business transactions with allowed, warning & forbidden options.
Select the Business transactions that you want to forbid & save.
Now,  if the option of contract change is not there in Business transactions column then I dont think you can do it.
Also in BS02 waht have you assigned in Object types Tab.
It should be Sales document I suppose.

    My client wants the two statuses at the time of creation of  contract 1.CRTD and then after creation checked by another person they wants 2.REL(released) status for that(in T code VA42).
    For that i created the status profile e.g. ZSTATUS and assign it to the contract order type and item category and i also created the authorization key e.g. z001 in transaction BS52 and assign the same in the status profile for the REL status.
    please tell any thing more i have to do in configuration part to give the one user the CRTD access and another user to REL access.

    Is it possible to change the user status profile for already created equipment? I tried to change the assignment of status profile to equipment category and found it works only for new equipments. It is not applicable to already created equipments. The status of the status profile is already used in equipments.

    No you can not change status profile assigned with already created equipment.
    Eg. You assigned status profile 00000003 to equipment category M of equipment. so whnever any new equipment created will get status profile 00000003 only.
    For your case, dont make any change status profile no .00000003--> make whatever changes you have to made about status naming,sequence keeping same status profile.
    After that goto equipment change master edit>change category>selet same category for assignment. so equipment will get same status profile with status changed.

  • Change status profile for existing incidents

    We were using status profile SLFN0001 with service desk and it was working fine, but we had to create a new status profile ZLFN0001 because of new requirements and everything works fine for the new incidents. The problem is that the old incidents still have the status profile SLFN0001, is there a way to change those "old" incidents and assign the status profile ZLFN0001 instead of SLFN0001?

    As far as I know, you will not be able to change the status profile with already implemented all incidents.

  • Error in RFx with user-specified status profile

    Hi experts,
    I am having an issue in SRM 7.0 creating status profile for RFx.
    When I try to create a new RFx, I get an error screen with message "Status profile ZCCP is not allowed for "Bidding Header""
    In order to configure this, I went through the steps described in SAP Library:
    1- Define user-specified status profiles in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server->Cross-Industry Functions->Application Settings->User-Specified Status->Create Status Profile for User-Specified Status:
    I created status profile ZCCP with the following data:
    10     SUSP     Suspended     10     90     1     1
    90     HABI     Abilities 10     90     1     1
    and I assigned the status profile to object type "Bid Invitation Header (PS_BBP)"
    2- Assign user-specified status profiles to procurement documents in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under  SRM Server->Cross-Industry Functions->Application Settings->User-Specified Status->Assign User-Specified Status Profiles to Purchasing Documents
    I created a new entry with:
    BUS2200     H Header     0     ZCCP
    3- Assign user-specified status profiles for each transaction type in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under  SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Define Transaction Types
    I assigned the status profile ZCCP to all relevant operation types of obj. type BUS2200.
    Does anyone know where this went wrong??

    You can use Status Management for records and documents. In Customizing, define the status values and the permitted sequence of these values. Users can then set these status values as attributes for records or documents.

    ·         Assignment of a status profile to an element type
    For element types whose elements you want to use Status Management for, assign an existing status profile to connection parameter STATE_PROFILE_ID. (The connection parameter is only offered for records and documents.)
    Subsequently, users will be offered the attribute Status in the attribute maintenance dialog box whenever they edit the elements in question. Input help contains the status values that you have created.
    If you want to use Status Management for the API, you require the following authorization objects: S_SRM_STAT, S_SRM_ST_P and S_SRM_ST_N.

  • WEB UI Status profile TPM transfer to APO

    Hi,
    We try to upgrade our CRM system from 4.0 to 5.2 at a customer. Now, the following problem came up with the transfer of promotions to APO;
    We created our own status profile (ZTPM) which we configured in a way so that promotions were transferred to APO (This worked in CRM 4.0).
    When we created a promotion and put the status to Unconfirmed (which in CRM 4.0 transfers the promotion to APO) and save, the necessary Bdoc’s are created and said to be fully processed. When you look in the error log for Bdoc Type MKTPL_MKTELEM, click on error and long text, it says that the promotion does not have a status which permits to be transferred to APO.
    (Error message from SAP: BDOC status does not allow transfer to APO; Message no. CRM_MKTPL_APO_INT110 Diagnosis: The promotion has a status which does not allow it to be transferred to APO. Procedure: Check the status settings and either change the settings to allow the transfer to APO or change the status.
    In customizing however, we have defined that for user status Unconfirmed (E0004) the business transaction CAPO is allowed. The same applies for status Released. Both statuses we have tested.
    What happens in the WEB UI concerning the status profile? Has anything changed compared to CRM 4.0?
    I hope someone can help me out. Points will be rewarded if we are helped, because we are dealing with a show stopper here!

    In this case the transfer was failing because of two active implementations of BAdI  CRM_MKTPL_APO_INT. There should be at most one active implementation for any BAdI.

  • Status profile for utility contracts in CRM

    Hi,
    Right now the status of the utility contracts created in CRM webclient remains unchanged to status 'Open'.
    Create a contract - 'Open'
    End a contract -     'Open'
    Does anyone know if we need to allocate a status profile to the transaction type/item category in CRM? And if so which status profile should we use?
    We are using IS-U specific transaction type ISUL, with the business transaction category 'BUS2000249' for the utility contract in CRM.  Is there any utility specific status profile that we should use? or is this field supposed to be empty?

    Thanks for your reply. Are your contract status being changed although you havn't allocated a status profile to the transaction type or item category?
    In your reply you said that our status issues might come from the transaction type customizing. But the only place I can see that I can customize anything regarding the status is the status field? Our contract is being replicated fine... no problems there, the only issue is that the status of the contract is not being updated....

  • To change user status profile on sales order at run time.

    Hi Experts,
    We have defined status profile for Sales returns ( Doc type RE) which blocks the  return order on creation. There are two statuses here which are to remove the delivery block and to remove the billing block by authorised users.
    The requirement is now to have a three level block ( three statuses ) on the same document. We can create a new status profile and assign it to a new return sales order tpye  but we want to avoid creating new document types. Since this document type is used across various companies in the group we can not assign a new profile on the existing RE document as well.
    My question to all experts is
    Is it possible to dynamically change the status profile assigned to the document type based on characterstics like sales org or company code etc? If any body has done this please let me know the user exit , function module, BADI etc where the necessary coding has been done.

    Created order with  header status as  as " In process" ,  item status is defaulted  to  " open"  and  order  replicatd to ECC ,  billed aswell .  But  when I checked in  CRM still status  not changing to completed  but retains with In process  at header level & open at item level.
      I would expect order status should be completed at header level & Item level.
    Is there any thing wrong with status profile settings at header  & Item level? , I have created  status profiles with following settings.
    I have  copied standard status profile  " CRMORDER" and assigned to  trasaction type  and made following settings:
    Under Open :   following transactional contorl selected
    To be distributed   :  Selected options "Forbidden " & No active

  • Status profile change

    Hi ,
    On  our solution manager system (which had open tickets) we had to create a new status profile.
    Upon creating same we assigned this new profile to the relevant transaction type.
    Now we notice in our system that this new profile gets attached on to the tickets created newly only and the old messages still run with the old status profile.
    Kindly confirm if this is the expected behavior once a status profile is changed.

  • Status Profile - Restrict any changes made in sales document

    I have a situation here. I have maintained status profile with one of the status as "REJ - Reject Sales Order". Now when i set that status "REJ" and save the order, and open it by transaction VA02, i can make any changes in the order document such as adding new line item. I want to restrict any changes for this order now. How can i tackle this situation. Can you please help me with the same, its urgent.

    This can be controlled in two ways.
    1)  Through User Exit : MV45AFZZ by not allowing the specific users to make changes
    2)   With the help of your Basis Team, authorization of VA02 should not be allowed for the said users.

    One of our requirements is that when the user status is Changed from "Status 08" to "Status 10", the only possible status available should be "Status 06" and the other statuses(07, 08 & 09) should be inactive or greyed out. Is there a possibility to hide status that is/are not required and the user should be able to see only 1 active status.
    What is the significance of Auth Code and Select Profile? Where do we assign Select profile to a Status Profile?
    Can anyone shed some light on this. Appreciate your response.

    as far as I know, it is not possible to mark a status as inactive in certain cases.
    However, there might be a solution to your question:
    One ofcourse, is to change the order of the statuses so that you don't have to "skip" a status. For instance: switch status 8 with status 9, and change the properties of status 10 so that only status 9 can be reached (lowest status)
    The other option is to use authorizations on statuses, that's were the AUTH_KEY comes in. You can use the standard defined key, or you can create additional authorization keys.
    Let's say you create an additional key called Z_AUTH_1, and link this key to Status 08.
    An end user would then need to have this authorization key value in his role profile (object B_USERSTAT) to be able to set status 08.

    I've changed the status profile assigned to an order type because of new requirements for disallowed transactions.  The new profile settings/ user status worked for new IO master data created.  However, for existing IO master data, the user status was not updated with the new status profile.  What's the transaction to reconstruct/correct the user status of old IO master data?

    Once you assign the sttus profile for an order type,this should work for all the orders assigned to that specific ord-type.
    create a new session and work.The orders will respond to the new status profile.

    we like to harmonize all status profile of all incident process types  we have in our system. This means we like to create one status profile and assign this to 5 different process types. The problem is, we have in our system round about 20000 incidents and ( open and closed). This incidents have to be migrated. I think we have to change E-Status and Status profile and change documents. Are there any experiences with this task. I found nothing what really works (change status profile) in this time. I checked CRM_STATUS_PROFILE_CHANGE but dosn't work for me.
    Could anyone give some hints how to handle this problem?
