Staying Signed in for more that 1 minute!!

My problem is staying signed in to my computer for more that 1 minute. If I sign in and do not use my site for a while (more that 1-minute) I get signed out and I have to go through the sign stuff again. My computer will close down al together. How can I stay ssigned in while not using my computer aor a few minutes?????

Did it start not syncing after the iOS 4.2 update?

Hold down your Shift key while launching the Organizer to get to the Catalog Manager. Highlight your catalog at the bottom of the window, and choose "Repair". Repeat, using "Optimize".
If that doesn't solve it, from the Catalog Manager, create a new catalog (with a different name).

I highly doubt that the VZW CS reps are sitting by idly letting people stew on hold. I'm sure there are loads of people just like us that have questions, but they don't know how to get online and figure things out. Yes, people like this have iPhones. Every time my lg g pad 8.3 lte tablet is turned off it reverts the saving email attachment back to internal storage. Every time I turn on, I change it back to save to SD card. It stays that way until it is turned off for more than a minute. If I do a restart, it holds the setting, but loses it when it is shut down for any period of time. Does anyone else have this issue? The setting holds for photos taken with camera storing to SD card. Only the email attachment setting does not hold.

I believe that system has a hall sensor on it to detect when the lid is closed so it can put the system to sleep and/or disable the monitor so it can be used with an external monitor only. If the sensor is marginal or has a bad cable, it may intermittently cut the monitor on and off, and may likewise put the system to sleep. One way to check would be to plug in an external monitor and if the laptop's screen cuts off or doesn't show up, start using the trackpad and press on a non-typing key like the shift key. If the external display suddenly pops and becomes active while the laptop display remains black, it's probably a problem with the sensor or the cable/connection. You might be able to fool the sensor into kicking on and off by moving a magnet over it. It's located on the left had side of the base with the unit opened up, and right over the audio output plug.
I know of some people that put a small magnet right over the hall sensor's location so the laptop display turns off and they use the system with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. If fooling with magnets, make sure they're small and don't get them close to the hard drive because a strong magnet can wipe them out.
I don't know if this will help you much, but it might.

Contact Apple Support or an Apple Store if you have one near you. Your battery needs to run through the diagnostic test. You can also try to put the device into Recovery mode as well and rsetore the iOS software, and set up the device as new. Follow this article on Recovery Mode:

IOS4 in 3GS hanging for more than 2 minutes!

My iPhone 3GS is hanging after I press END before, during and afters calls. This never happened in 3.1.3!
Sometimes it stays like that for more than 2 minutes, than it shows the unable to complete call message.
It looks like it is losing the carrier signal and tries to reconnect.
Any ideas to avoid this?

I have an wsp , where i tested deploying in my test environment, But when i try deploying same wsp deployment in Production. Its showing as

This is most likely due to the timer service being turned off or failing for a machine. When deploying a WSP, it will schedule a job on ALL servers in the farm with the web application service turned on. It will stay on deploying if one of the servers is
in bad health.
1. Use CA to see on which server it is failing.
2. Cancel the deployment like described here:

Besides these problems, there is the battery, which was bad got worse, she is not lasting more than 10 hours, even without using the phone.

Maybe the solution is that you iPod is slow is because you are not closing your apps after you use them. To do this you must:
1. Press the Home Button to get out of that app
2. You will return to the Home Screen
3. Click the Home Button twice, (do this quite fast, But not TOO fast)
4. A bar with all your apps that you have come out of will be on the bottom of the screen
5. Hold down one of those apps
6. They will start to "jiggle"
7. A little red circle will be beside all of the "jiggling" apps
8. Press that little red circle and those apps will close (NOTE: This is NOT deleting your apps)
9. Now you apps are closed NOT deleted
10. Your iPod will now speed up in: Browsing, downloading, syncing and much more
11. (Bonus) - To DELETE an application do the same thing ( But not clicking the Home Button twice) and all of your apps which you downloaded will "jiggle" and there will be an black circle with an X in it, click that X to DELETE that app and a dialog will pop up and say: "Do you really want to delete this app?" If you want to: Click yes.

Wireless connection lost after macbook pro sleeps for more than 15 minutes

It's annoying. I have a brand new macbookpro 3.06Ghz 17" hi-res screen running OS-X 10.6.3 and the wireless connection keeps dropping after the computer is either turned off or sleeping for more than 15 minutes.
My router is a linksys wireless G, has dd-wrt software in it which is very powerful. When I release or renew the DHCP at the router, the mackbook connects to the wireless network, no problem.
What configuration can be done at the macbook as to not have it time-out airport wireless connections unless I renew/release DHCP at the router? This is an annoyance beyond the limits of anyone's patience.... Thanks in advance for any help!

Well, since nobody answered this post I decided to try a bunch of things and I believe I came to a solution:
1 - Make airport the first connection under System Preferences->Network
2 - In the advanced window:
- Under AirPort: Keep only one network name on the list (the one you use all the time)
- Select 'remember networks this computer has joined' and deselect all other boxes
- Take note of the Airport ID (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) and put it in your router's MAC address list. I do this because I only allow connections to my router from mac IDs that are on the list I create. In my case, I have my macbook pro and my PS3 system. If you don't know how to edit the MAC list in your router, do some research. It's pretty easy.
- Under TCP/IP: Select "Using DHCP" on the IPv4 drop box
- Select "Off" for IPV6 drop box
- Under DNS, after you connect at least once, you should see (grayed out) your router's IP address on the left box and the domain on the right side box.
Finally, under "Ethernet" you should see your Mac address there, the configure option should be set to Automatically and MTU as standard (1500).
Press OK and then press "Apply" and lock that screen by clicking on the padlock at the bottom left. BTW on the top of this screen Location should be "Automatic" - if not, select it and apply.
Done! Your wireless should connect quickly after the computer is turned on or waken up from sleep state. This assumes you configured your router correctly (mac addresses, frequencies, etc).
Good Luck to all who try this - at least I have not have any more dropped wireless connections.

Icons keep disappearing off the monitor when computer sleeps for more than 10 minutes

My new HP Pavilion I5-2300 keeps locking up when the computer rests for more than 10 minutes. When i go to wake up the computer the desktop background comes up on the monitor, but all of my icons are missing and no command prompts work from the keyboard. I have just been unplugging and then replugging the monitor from the power source and that seems to reboot the freeze, but i really don't want to have to do this every time it happens. Anybody experience anything similar? Am i missing an easy solution here? Thanks

There could be several reasons. It may be that Acrobat spent that time trying and ran into too many bottlenecks. As a test you might print the PDF to a new PDF and try the conversion on the new PDF. It might be there is a problem with the original PDF that the print process would fix..
