Download the free FaceBook app if you don't have it already.
Makesure the photo you want to use in is an album in your Photos app.
Run the facebook app and go to your timeline.
Tap on your profile photo and you'll receive a choice to replace it.
Select Replace Profile Photo
Follow the prompts to enter your photo albums, find and select the photo you want to use and go from there.

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.

How do I Change my Apple ID on my iPad using IOS7. The area is grayed out and won't allow it to be changed. I changed my Apple ID when my email change but when i upgraded ti IOS7 it reverted to the old ID and now won't me change it.

Settings>Store. Tap on your Apple ID, sign out and then resign in with the correct Apple ID.

Obviously you must have an iPhone in order to associate the phone number with the FaceTime and Messages apps on your iPad. You haven't clearly stated what you want to do other than associate a phone number, so I assume these are the two apps that you want to associate the phone number with.
If you are unable to add the phone number in the settings in either or both of these apps, you may have to sign out of both apps on the Phone and the iPad - and then sign in again on both devices in order to use the phone number for FaceTime and Messages on the iPad.

Perfernece for contact to change. Do I just have to dis-associate my contact fromt the facebook account? Is only the autofill changable?

If you allow Facebook to access your contacts and you have the @facebook.com email alias turned on, it will add the @facebook.com email to your contact info, and because it has the fixed label of "email" it overrides every other email address.
They didn't fix this in iOS 8.
There are two ways to remove the @facebook.com email from your contact info:
If you don't need your Facebook friends and their info updating your contacts, go into iOS Settings -> Facebook and turn off access to Contacts.
If you don't use your @facebook.com email address (all it does it forward to the primary email address) you can go into the Facebook app, More -> Settings -> General -> Email -> and uncheck "Use your Facebook email". Removing it from Account Emails does not work, you have to turn it off. Once you do this, go to iOS Settings -> Facebook and turn Contacts off and on again to make it update your info. The @facebook.com address should be removed.

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPad on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I just bought splashtop, you have to have your home computer online,and download the pc version. I have used it ot watch movies and to "go to work" on my ipad. It controls the desktop through the ipad. Whiteboard by splashtop does that and more and is on sale. The education director at the hospital I work at is using that one.
Splashtop 4.99 remote desktop(or laptop) control. Whiteboard 9.99 is remote control and more 9.99
